Last month the news came down – Lindsay Lohan’s Career Comeback Tour (also known as “Crackie Compares Herself to Elizabeth Taylor Endlessly”) was going to make a pit stop on Barbara Walters’ couch. It was confirmed that Lindsay would do a substantial interview with Walters to promote Liz & Dick, which will be airing in the next few weeks. While I was somewhat pissed off at the news – I don’t think Walters is a very good interviewer at this point – I thought it was probably a pretty smart move with a cracked-out attention-starved crackhead. Walters wouldn’t go after Lindsay, and LL would get to promote her cracked out movie. Not anymore! Deadline reports that Lindsay pulled out of the interview at the last minute:

Few in Hollywood pull out of Barbara Walter’s interviews, especially when they have an upcoming project. But Lindsay Lohan’s new PR representatives Rogers & Cowan confirmed tonight that the actress will not be appearing on ABC’s 20/20. Lohan was scheduled to be on the show November 16 for an interview with Walters.

A source tells Deadline that Lohan’s new flackery was dissatisfied with the direction ABC wanted to take the interview. The 20/20 stint was to promote Lohan’s upcoming Lifetime movie Liz & Dick in which she portrays Elizabeth Taylor and her stormy romance to two-time husband and co-star Richard Burton, played by Grant Bowler. Liz & Dick premieres November 25th.

Meanwhile, what a Herculean task it must be to flack Lindsay Lohan.

Fascinating. There was also a rumor shortly after the interview was announced that Lindsay had basically crack-blackmailed Lifetime into paying her bills by threatening to NOT do any press in support of Liz & Dick. Lifetime paid her Marmont bill and magically Lindsay agreed to the Walters interview. I wonder if Lifetime knows they got hoodwinked by a master crackmailer? Meanwhile, TMZ reports that Lindsay pulled out of the interview because Lindsay’s “new PR team” (?) didn’t want Walters to ask any questions about the soon-to-be charges against Lindsay, and about the June car crash. According to TMZ:

Sources close to the actress tell us … in the past week, producers made it clear to Lohan that Barbara wanted to talk about her personal life as well … including allegations that she lied to police about the June car crash on Pacific Coast Highway.

We’re told Lindsay’s new PR team, Rogers & Cowan, felt it would be a mistake to put Lindsay in the hot seat … where she could possibly say something that could screw up her case … so they pulled the plug.

Sources tell us Lindsay feels terrible for canceling on Barbara, especially since she considers Walters a family friend, and wants to reschedule as soon as her team feels the time is right.

Yeah, let’s all pretend that Lindsay had a meeting with her team and they soberly discussed the pros and cons of speaking to Walters. Let’s pretend that Lindsay didn’t get insanely coked up and then “forget” about the interview and she forced her new “team” to come up with an excuse.

As for the car accident and the soon-to-be-filed charges (hopefully) of “lying to the police,” TMZ also had a hilarious and sad story about how Lindsay’s assistant Gavin didn’t MEAN to tell the truth to the police, he only told the truth because he was TRICKED! Gavin tells friends, “cops questioned him at the hospital where Lindsay was being treated post-accident — but he neither confirmed nor denied whether Lindsay was driving the car. Gavin’s saying cops confronted him, saying they already knew Lindsay was driving because of the seat belt marks on her left shoulder — indicating she was in the driver’s seat — and Gavin simply replied with a noncommittal ‘Okay.’” OMG, you guys! IT WAS A SETUP!!!!

As we discussed a few days ago, Lindsay Lohan is apparently going to be charged with “lying to police”. The charge stems from her June car accident on the Pacific Coast Highway, in which a cracked-out Cracken smashed her Porsche into an 18-wheeler and somehow everyone managed to walk away in one piece. Lindsay told the police that she wasn’t driving, and she also claimed (to TMZ) that her brakes failed. I think there were some other crackie excuses in there, but there were also some reports of Lindsay tossing some suspicious-looking containers of maybe-alcohol shortly after her accident. The accident also happened when Lindsay was working on Liz & Dick, so it’s extra weird that Lindsay wasn’t using the car and driver that Lifetime was paying for. And out of all of that crack drama, it’s only one charge of “lying to the police”? Sure. But to hear LL speak about it, you’d think that she was the biggest martyr since Jesus Christ:

And get this … Lindsay still claims she wasn’t driving at the time her Porsche slammed into a truck last June on the Pacific Coast Highway. TMZ broke the story … authorities beg to differ and will prosecute her for lying to cops. Lindsay claimed she was a passenger, but witnesses say she was behind the wheel.

Lindsay is saying she’s “terrified” of going back to jail, especially because Judge Stephanie Sautner made it clear she would violate her probation if she breaks the law again.

Lindsay says she will throw herself at the mercy of the court … she believes “One car accident could ruin everything for me.”

Finally, she says she’s done a good job following the law since her no contest plea in the jewelry heist case.

When in doubt, stick with the crack lie until you’ve been proven to be a crack liar. After which time you have to sort-of admit what you did, but you still get to blame other people (“the black guy!”). Some have wondered A) what took so long for the cops to bring charges and B) why right now, is there some new evidence? Apparently so – TMZ also reports that Lindsay’s assistant/enabler/crackie co-conspirator Gavin “rolled on her when he spoke to the cops.” Gavin told the cops that HE was riding shotgun while Lindsay drove, and that’s what the witnesses and the other driver claim too.

Radar is trying to get in on the crackie action too with a new report claiming that “the Los Angeles City Attorney will ask the judge to throw the embattled actress behind bars for violating terms of her probation in her necklace theft case.” Apparently, as soon as Lindsay is formally charged with lying to cops, the LA City Attorney will ask for a probation violation hearing, and they will be asking for “significant time in jail, up to one year.” And that’s just for the probation violation – if found guilty of lying to the cops, it could be more jail time. Apparently, the prosecutorial burden is a lot lower when you’re talking about probation violations, meaning that it’s possible that LL could be found in violation of the terms of her probation when she’s simply CHARGED with a crime, not when she’s found guilty. Of course, all of this is just an enormous pipe dream because FTLOG IT’S CALIFORNIA.

Here are some new photos of Lindsay Lohan last night in Manhattan. Guess who was with Lindsay? ALI!!! This is the first time I’ve seen Ali in MONTHS. I haven’t seen her since before she mysteriously went to “South Korea” to “model” over the summer. Well, Ali is in NYC with the Cracken, so you know some crack shenanigans are going down soon. As for Lindsay’s outfit…busted. She looks like a cracked-out raccoon. Is that a raccoon pelt?! And Ali looks… er… poor Ali. That poor kid.

Lindsay has been in NYC for more than week – she was there during Hurricane/Frankenstorm Sandy, staying at a hotel. But the Cracken will have to return to LA sooner rather than later… TMZ reports that Lindsay is going to be charged with “lying to police” from that cracktastrophe on the Pacific Coast Highway back in June. That was like two dozen cracktastrophes ago!

We broke the story … Lohan told cops she was NOT behind the wheel of her Porsche when it slammed into the back of an 18-wheeler. Fact is she was — according to multiple witnesses.

Law enforcement sources tell us … the case will be filed as a misdemeanor by the Santa Monica City Attorney … possibly this week.

The charge could spell huge trouble for Lindsay, because she’s currently on probation for the jewelry heist. The criminal filing could trigger a probation violation, and Judge Stephanie Sautner — the jewelry judge — could send her to the slammer for a long, long time.

And law enforcement sources tell us … cops found prescription pills in her purse after the crash. Witnesses tell us pills were also scattered in her trunk. Our sources say authorities were prepared to charge LiLo with drug crimes, but Lindsay’s lawyer, Shawn Holley, gave cops documentations from Lindsay’s doctor, saying the pills were properly prescribed. Authorities then backed off that charge.

As for the charge of lying to cops, Lindsay almost dodged that bullet. You may recall, after the accident, Lindsay went to the hospital where she was interviewed by cops, and that’s when she told them she wasn’t behind the wheel. Her lawyer, Shawn Holley, made a mad dash for the hospital to muzzle her client (see video), but she was a few minutes too late.

Comedy and crime — it’s all about timing.

Yeah, here’s what I don’t understand (and please, California legal experts, explain it to me): how is this not an AUTOMATIC violation of the terms of Lindsay’s probation. Like, if and when Lindsay is charged with lying to the police, why wouldn’t that automatically trigger a probation violation and she would have to go straight to court/jail? Isn’t that what her judge said when they were going through the terms of her last probation? That if she screwed up even once, her probation would be null and she would immediately face the consequences? But I guess not… because the California Justice System is all “Meh” when it comes to Lindsay Lohan. They don’t want to deal with her anymore.

Lindsay Lohan did some lines yesterday/last night and she got on Twitter. Which is always rough, and it’s surprisingly old-school for the Cracken. This is what she used to do back in 2008-09: she would get all high/drunk/crackie and she would get on Twitter and just start GOING OFF on Samantha Ronson. Good times. Nowadays, Lindsay barely has any friends and no one really gives a sh-t, so she just decided to tweet random things like “Fame will go by and, so long, I’ve had you, fame.. If it goes by, I’ve always known it was fickle. So at least it’s something I experience, but that’s not where I live. Marilyn Monroe”. That’s a direct quote. She also tweeted “lower the blinds” which definitely seems like some kind of crackie code for something. But here’s the tweet that everyone is yelling about today.

Lindsay Lohan’s longtime publicist Steve Honig has called it quits — and TMZ has learned, it was all over tension with Lindsay’s dad.

Michael Lohan tells us, he butted heads with Steve big time in the weeks leading up to his Lindsay intervention on Friday — but things came to a head over the weekend, when Steve released a statement saying Lindsay’s management team had nothing to do with Michael’s plans.

Michael flipped out on Steve over the statement, calling him a “f**king liar” in a text message.

Sources tell us, Steve threw in the towel last night — quitting for good — nearly two years after he signed on to be Lindsay’s publicist.

Sources close to Lindsay tell us, Steve’s decision to quit had nothing to do with the actress … just her dad.

Steven and Lindsay have been through a lot together — Lindsay’s jewelry heist, her numerous car accidents, health scares, and 911 calls.

Steve tells us he didn’t quit purely over MiLo, saying … “Michael wishes he were that important.”

What I found interesting is that in the past… say, three weeks of Lohan Crack Dramz, Honig was nowhere. He wasn’t issuing any of his patented delusional statements about “what really happened” during this incident or that incident. I think Honig backed away when Dina and Lindsay got into that fight in the limo to Long Island. He never said anything about that, to my memory. So, did Honig really “quit” over Michael Lohan? Eh. So stupid.

Also: TMZ reports that Lindsay is “careening toward financial ruin.” Because this is 2009, I guess, and we’re supposed to believe that Lindsay isn’t millions of dollars in debt at this point.

TMZ has seen text messages between Michael Lohan and Lindsay’s lawyer Dave Feldman, discussing Lindsay’s recent promotion deal with an energy drink named Mr. Pink.

As we reported, Lindsay flew out to L.A. earlier this month in order to attend a launch event for the beverage — just hours after her blowout fight with her mother Dina in NYC.

In the text messages, Michael claims Lindsay was paid $150,000 for the event IN CASH … which Lindsay then gave to her brother Michael Jr. to hold in his bank account for safe keeping. Michael expressed fear that Dina had access to Michael Jr.’s account and would raid it for herself.

Dave expresses outrage in response, claiming Lindsay should have looped him and her business manager in to the Mr. Pink transaction in order to provide her more financial protection … but she never did.

In the messages, Dave says Lindsay was even more stupid for not including her management team on the Mr. Pink deal because — as Dave says — they could have gotten her even more money for the job … but again, she didn’t.

As we reported, Lindsay’s dad is terrified she has fallen back off the wagon and needs a conservatorship because she can’t handle her affairs — and based on these texts, he might have a point.

I didn’t cover the Lindsay Lohan thing yesterday, because I just didn’t feel like it. Lindsay live-tweeted some dumb nonsense during Monday night’s presidential debate, but really all that she did was try to get some famous people to talk to her via Twitter. It was pathetic – you can read about it here. Meanwhile, Lindsay is back in NYC (clubbing like a crackie), maybe because she’s worried her father will come to her Beverly Hills home (??) again and try to do some kind of cracked-out “intervention”. There’s a new, horrible wrinkle with that too – Michael told TMZ that he “recruited” Dr. Drew for the Cracken Intervention That Never Was. Because it’s not like Lindsay doesn’t already loathe Dr. Drew too – for good reason. The man is a hack. Anyway, Dr. Drew apparently recommended another intervention specialist for Michael, and that’s the dude he brought to Lindsay’s house.

In other Cracken news, Radar reports that she stole $15,000 worth of clothing from the set of Scary Movie 5. Because of course.

Lindsay Lohan has earned the nickname “sticky fingers” again, because a new report claims the troubled actress stole $15,000 worth of clothing from the set of Scary Movie 5!

According to an insider, the clothes were on her wardrobe racks and Lindsay felt entitled to take and keep whatever she wanted.

“It was the talk of the set in Atlanta,” a source told the new issue of the National Enquirer.

“The clothes were on her wardrobe racks. Some nice tops and skirts and other items were gone. I guess Lindsay thought she was entitled to it, like free soap at a hotel. All the other actors knew about it, but the producers just put it down to the price you had to pay for doing business with Lindsay.”

The source also goes on to explain that Lindsay didn’t like the role she was cast in the movie, and only showed up to the set after she was threatened with legal action.

“Even unreliable Charlie Sheen was concerned that Lindsay wouldn’t show up for the September shoot in Georgia,” the source said.

“The wardrobe people were unhappy about the missing clothes, but at the end of the day the producers decided it was more trouble than it was worth to try and get them back.”

Yeah. Obviously. This happened. The only thing that surprises me is that people are still surprised by Lindsay’s crack-thievery. Every single person in the world should know by now that she’s a crackie klepto. We can beat our breasts about her horrible family and all of that, but you know what? Bitch just likes to steal sh-t. As we discussed yesterday, there was a boatload of Lohan drama over the weekend. The whole mess began on Friday, when Michael Lohan and some people showed up at Lindsay’s Beverly Hills home (?) to do an “intervention”. Lindsay wouldn’t let them in and she called the police on Michael, and it was just a typical Lohan mess. Lindsay let TMZ know that her dad is awful and Dina chimed in as well (using her own name, not “Steve Honig”). Well, there are some new developments, and they’re just as crackie as everything else. First, Michael tells TMZ that the intervention WAS sanctioned by the Cracken’s team of enablers, because Lindsay’s partying is so out of control, it’s even starting to bother them:

Michael Lohan was NOT ALONE in orchestrating an emergency intervention on Lindsay Friday — and TMZ has seen emails proving that her ENTIRE team, including her lawyers and her manager … were 100% on board.

The emails are between Michael, Evan Hainey (LiLo’s manager) Dave Feldman (entertainment lawyer) and Shawn Holley (criminal defense lawyer). The emails were sent between Sept. 23rd and Oct. 18th (the day before Michael’s intervention).

Michael emailed Evan and Shawn on Sept. 23rd, claiming he had been informed by several people Lindsay was “drinking between a bottle and a bottle and a half of vodka per day” adding, “I have seen the empty bottles and even cocaine in her room at Chateau.”

Michael continues, “She is AGAIN, taking pills to keep her up and to sleep (adderall)!! I even know that she is and was drinking during work as far back as Liz and Dick!”

Michael then pleads, “I am asking you to PLEASE PLEASE find a way to get her to LA toward the end of the first week of October or the beginning of the second so we can do an intervention and FINALLY end this madness!”

LiLo’s manager Evan responds the same day to Michael and Shawn, “I am hearing the same things.” Evan continues, Lindsay will fly back to L.A. Oct 15th — and they should plan an intervention for that week. Lindsay’s lawyer Shawn responds unequivocally, “Let’s do it.”

On Oct. 12th Michael and LiLo’s entertainment lawyer, Dave, sent multiple emails to each other — planning a conference call with a well-known interventionist, named Earl Hightower. Then on Oct. 18th (the day before the intervention) Michael sent an email to Evan … revealing a plan to confront LiLo at her Bev Hills home.

According to text messages from Oct 19th, which we have also seen, the group decided Michael would confront LiLo FIRST … and everyone else would show up afterwards. TMZ broke the story … the emergency intervention floundered — Michael showed up to Lindsay’s pad, but she turned him away and called the cops … which put a kabosh on the whole thing.

Does anyone have any doubt that Lindsay is consuming that much alcohol? Does anyone have any doubt that she’s also popping pills, doing lines and probably a lot more? I’m here to tell you – none of this is anything new. And if you believe she’s a Crack Monster, that doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to believe Michael Lohan. Also: where was Steve Honig on this email chain? Oh, right.

Now, TMZ also spoke to Lindsay’s siblings, including ALI! Ali has been “missing” for months. Allegedly, she went to South Korea to model, and this is the first time we’ve heard anything about her since then. Ali spoke to her father directly through her statement to TMZ: “Please stop waging your own personal war against my family. We don’t need you to intervene because we can take care of ourselves without you, as we have been all these years.” Michael Jr. said, “I think it’s unfortunate that the public had to be unwittingly invited into the lives of my family members due to my father’s lies” and Cody says, “I have no good memories of my so called father. He has never been part of my life, he needs to leave my family alone.” TMZ points out that none of them actually contradicts what Michael Lohan has said about Lindsay.

So, what’s the next step in this crack drama? Allegedly, Michael is going to go to court and try to get Lindsay put in some kind of conservatorship, like Britney Spears has. Except the Cracken is totally f—king broke (if not millions of dollars in debt), and there really isn’t much to “protect” or “conserve” you know? Unless you’re trying to “conserve” Lindsay’s health, in which case HAHAHAHA. Yeah. She will never submit to it, and the California court system has already given up on her. Blah. Another day, another crack drama.

Sigh. I actually made a conscious choice to NOT write about Lindsay Lohan on Thursday and Friday, despite the fact that there was news about her. Now it’s a moot point, a nonsensical stand to take on my part. Because the crack drama will never end, however long the earth spins on its axis, so too will there be Lohan crack drama. First, let me just get this story out of the way. On Wednesday, author/screenwriter Bret Easton Ellis tweeted (and then deleted) this: “Patrick Bateman has just headed over to Lindsay Lohan’s hotel to confront her as to why she missed her f**king ADR on ‘The Canyons’ today…” ADR is Automatic Dialog Replacement, that’s when an actor has to go in and dub their own lines because the mic didn’t pick it up or there was sound interference or something. BEE is saying that Lohan was scheduled to do her dubbing and she blew it off. Which sounds completely normal for her. It’s not even notable.

Next story… on Friday, Michael Lohan and a bunch people showed up at “Lindsay’s Beverly Hills home” (????) for an “intervention”. This story makes absolutely no sense.

Cops just showed up at Lindsay Lohan’s Beverly Hills home after Michael Lohan and others tried to stage an intervention to get Lindsay into treatment … TMZ has learned.

Michael Lohan and several others showed up at Lindsay’s house Friday afternoon … believing she has fallen off the wagon … and they believe that’s why she has become a no-show for post-production work on her upcoming movie, “The Canyons.”

We spoke to Michael outside Lindsay’s place … and he said his daughter is surrounding herself with “a bunch of alcoholics and drug addicts.”

Michael also claims Lindsay’s entire team is on board with the intervention, though we cannot confirm that.

We’re told Lindsay was at the house when Michael and team arrived, but someone claiming to be her boyfriend shooed them away. The “boyfriend” told TMZ Lindsay was inside and any problems Lindsay has will not be solved by her father.

Someone called the cops to report a trespassing call. Cops are currently on scene.

UPDATE: 4:35PM PT Police have left Lindsay’s house … and so has Michael.

TMZ then had a predictable story which came straight from Lindsay’s a—hole, basically saying that she’s “pissed” that her father staged an intervention because she has NO ISSUES with drugs or alcohol (eyeroll) and Lindsay wouldn’t even open the door to her crazy father, etc. Lindsay is still pissed that Michael taped their conversation a few weeks ago, the same conversation when Lindsay told Michael that Dina was on cocaine. Lindsay thinks that Michael is “feigning concern as a ploy to get back in her good graces.” Dina feels the same way, telling TMZ, “This sole act by my ex was not an intervention nor was this extreme antic sanctioned by any member of Lindsay’s family or her professional team of handlers. It’s all about her father obsessed with making a name for himself in the news once again. It’s sad and I hope he stops masquerading as her father in public and starts acting like one in private.”

I have several questions. One, where is Lindsay’s “Beverly Hills home” and why is this the first we’ve heard of it? Is it a new rental or something? If she’s had the home for a while, why is she always staying at the Marmont? Also: Dina says Lindsay has a “professional team of handlers”? Why does that not inspire confidence? People who are well-adjusted and sober don’t NEED a professional team of handlers. And my final question: is anyone else beginning to wonder if Dina is worse off than Lindsay? And by that I mean I’m beginning to think that Dina is more of a mess in total, and that’s saying a lot.

On Sunday, we discussed the fact that Lindsay Lohan was back to being crackie at the Chateau Marmont, after a few months of being “banned” for not paying her $46,000 bill. Then on Monday, we heard that Lindsay was going to give some kind of extensive (ha!) interview to Barbara Walters next month, to promote Lifetime’s Liz & Dick. Well, put those two stories together and what do you get? A cracked-out breach of ethics and a massive cracktastrophe for Lifetime. According to The Daily, LL basically told Lifetime that she would not do any promotion for Liz & Dick if they didn’t pay her Marmont bill. So the bill was paid and LL agreed to the Walters interview. I wonder if Barbara minds being a pawn in a cracked-out blackmail/hustle?

Lohan was thrown out of her favorite hotel in August after living there for 47 days, and racking up such charges as $3,100 for the mini-bar, and $686 for cigarettes. The troubled actress claimed the producers of “Liz & Dick” were supposed to pay the bill.

With “Liz & Dick,” the story of Elizabeth Taylor’s tumultuous two marriages to Richard Burton, set to air on Lifetime on Nov. 25, the producers need Lohan to promote the made-for-TV movie.

“She had them over a barrel,” one source told Flash. “She demanded that the hotel bill be cleared up.” And it was. Lohan reappeared at Chateau last week in a low-cut, sequined mini-dress with a group of girlfriends for late-night tea and salads.

Her interview with Walters, yet to be taped, is scheduled to air Nov. 16 on “20/20,” and will delve into the dynamics of her dysfunctional family, including last Wednesday’s 4 a.m. phone call to her father, Michael Lohan, where she accused her mother, Dina, of using cocaine. Michael taped the conversation and either sold it, or leaked it for free, to TMZ. Lindsay later recanted the accusation.

Lindsay also made news recently by endorsing Mitt Romney for president. It turns out, she’s not even registered to vote.

As for the other stuff, the crack hustle, the crack blackmail, the broke, busted ass that is Lindsay Lohan… I knew the “Lindsay paid her Marmont bill” story was too good to be true. Of course she doesn’t have $46,000 lying around to pay her own way. Of course she would threaten to pull her promotional work for the film. God, I wish Lifetime would have called her bluff – because that’s exactly what it was. Do you really think Lindsay would miss an opportunity to “promote” her big comeback role? Do you think wild horses could drag her away from the bank of cameras? Of course not. So let Lindsay throw her crackie hissy fits and let her sad little crack-hustling attempts wither on the vine.

Ugh, time for more Lindsay Lohan crap. As we discussed yesterday, Lindsay is back in LA after her whirlwind crack-extravaganza in New York, and LL is even back to hanging out at the Chateau Marmont, because that’s never a recipe for full-on disaster. People Mag even has a nice little story about Lindsay’s activities at the Marmont on Thursday – she showed up Thursday night with some friends around 10 p.m., and a source says, “Lindsay was very talkative and led much of the conversation. The group shared hot tea and late night salads. Lindsay definitely seemed at ease and in high spirits as they enjoyed a low-key night.” Late-night salads? Is that some kind of crack code? People Mag’s source says she took a “tense” call at one point, then rejoined her friends. Blah. And you know what we have to look forward to now? Lindsay’s promotional tour in support of Liz & Dick. For real. The Lifetime movie comes out in late November, and Crackie is trying to wring as much publicity out of it as she can. Which leads me to this:

Lindsay Lohan will continue her chatty streak (following her appearance on TMZ Live this week) and will sit down for a one-on-one interview with the legendary Barbara Walters … TMZ has learned. Sources close to Lindsay tell TMZ she has been close to Walters for years and that Barbara reached out to her about doing an interview when it was announced she’d playing Liz Taylor in the upcoming “Liz & Dick” biopic.

We’re told LiLo has been hesitant about sit-down interviews because she fears being asked questions she’s not prepared for. But our sources say Lindsay trusts Barbara not to take things too far. According to our sources, Lindsay and Barbara will sit down sometime in the next few weeks. We’re told the interview will focus on the parallels between the lives of Lindsay and Liz Taylor — things like child stardom, a rough childhood, living life in the public, and also dealing with addiction.

Our sources say the plan is for the interview to air next month to coincide with the premiere of “Liz & Dick.”

I don’t really trust Barbara Walters at this point. Maybe I never did. But I doubt the interview will be anything other than a hot mess of crack-denials, crack-squawking and crack-tears, and I doubt Barbara will call her out on any of her BS. As for the “comparisons” to Elizabeth Taylor – STFU.

Meanwhile, there’s even more crack drama with Lindsay’s parents. I know, shocking. TMZ reports that Dina is “pressuring” Lindsay to take out a restraining order/protection order against Michael Lohan, which would mean that Michael couldn’t even email, text or call Lindsay without being in violation. TMZ’s sources say that Lindsay isn’t convinced by Dina, and thinks that the protection order is “too extreme”. Michael told TMZ, “I suppose Dina got wind that I want the court and Child Protective Services to investigate her!” He also contacted Page Six and had a lot to say too:

Lindsay Lohan’s father, Michael, is “very upset” with the crowd his daughter has been hanging with in New York, and insists there “will be changes.”

After Lohan finished shooting Bret Easton Ellis’ movie “The Canyons” in LA, she’d been in a series of Big Apple disasters, from a W Hotel dust-up with a Congressional aide to an alleged fight with mother Dina after partying till the wee hours in Chelsea.

Michael says it’s the crowd surrounding Lindsay in New York that’s the bad influence, and he wants her to get back to focusing on her career.

“I am very upset with the crowd around Lindsay,” he told Page Six in an e-mail, targeting one pal in particular. He also warned Lindsay’s pals, “My advice to ALL the negative influences in Lindsay and my other children’s lives is, this time, you have crossed the line and bitten off a lot more than you can chew! My family will not be subject to your misguided morals and ways!”

Michael also vowed that things will change in his daughter’s life. “There WILL BE changes!! Just watch,” he wrote.

How many times are they going to blame the people around Lindsay? What is she, 26 years old? And she’s been acting like a crackhead for at least eight years now. At some point, doesn’t everyone have to acknowledge that Lindsay has problems because of WHO and WHAT she is, as opposed to the people around her? That being said, Lindsay should completely cut off her gang of crack-sycophants, including both of her parents. It won’t change who she is, but it would probably just be cheaper.

PS… Her wonky fake tan makes her look like she has jaundice.
