Lindsay Lohan was so classy, she only read Ernest Hemingway in jail

blohan1

Radar got an interview with a young woman was staying at the same jail as Lindsay Lohan, at the same time as Lindsay. Radar only identifies her as Katie A., and Katie has some really good, sad, funny stories about Lindsay’s stay at the Lynwood Correctional Facility and about all of the special treatment Lindsay got. My favorite? Lindsay made the guards find her Ernest Hemingway books because “Those are the only books she would read.” Ooh, Literary Lohan! I will expect her adaptation of For Whom the Blow Tolls. The Crackhead Also Rises? The Old Man and the Yacht (and the prostitution whore)? Sidenote: does this bitch admire anyone who didn’t kill themselves? Marilyn, now Ernest.

Lindsay Lohan spent 13 days in jail, but was hardly treated like a typical inmate says a woman who was at Lynwood Correctional Facility during Lohan’s stay.

“Lindsay had a lot of special treatment while she was in jail,” Katie A. told RadarOnline.com exclusively. “The entire jail was put on lockdown any time Lindsay left her cell. It felt like we were constantly on lockdown.

Katie asked that we not use her last name. RadarOnline.com confirmed she was in jail with Lindsay.

“She spent a lot of time in her cell, but she also went to the medical clinic several times a day.”

In addition to having the jail cleared while she was on the move, Katie says Lohan also got a brand new jail uniform everyday, while other inmates just got a clean pair once a week – if they were lucky.

“One employee of the jail had to spend his day searching the entire place for any books by Ernest Hemmingway for Lindsay,” Katie tells RadarOnline.com. “Those are the only books she would read.”

RadarOnline.com reported exclusively that Lindsay was reading the Old Man & The Sea when she went into jail but the book was taken away. We also reported she was able to get books while in jail.

Katie also says Lohan was granted her commissary order when she arrived to the jail on Tuesday, July 20 even though all orders are supposed to be placed by Monday night in order to receive them.

“I checked into Lynwood on the same Tuesday as Lindsay and had to wait until the next week for my commissary order to be placed,” Katie says. “But Lindsay got hers. I was sentenced to 30 days because of a violation of my probation for not attending an alcohol education class,” Katie says. “The same thing as Lindsay. Lindsay served 13 days out of her 90 day sentence whereas I had to serve 20 days for a much lesser sentence.”

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Lohan’s mother Dina said while at Lynwood she was NOT getting special treatment and “she doesn’t even have a pillow to sleep on.”

“Lindsay got off easy in more ways than one,” Katie says. “But she didn’t look good. The whole jail joked about how good she looked in her mug shot compared to in person.”

Lohan is currently undergoing her 90-day treatment at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles for substance abuse, ordered by Judge Marsha Revel as part of her sentence for Lindsay violating the terms of her probation from a 2007 DUI conviction.

[From Radar]

Who knew that jail had a VIP section? Oh, right. Everyone. But seriously, what the hell where those jail administrators thinking? Were they thinking they should treat Lindsay differently because her family might bring a cracked-out lawsuit? Whatever. Also: I totally believe everything Katie A. says. Because I want to. I believe that Lindsay looks worse in person, and I believe that Lindsay would bring her crack drama and force herself into the medical clinic endlessly and that she demanded, expected and got everyone to jump through hoops for her. F-cking crackhead.

One more thing: Lindsay made a “video” for her role as Linda Lovelace. Via PopEater:

Jesus, how jacked is she in this video?

Dina Lohan just sits around all day, scheming how to profit from her daughters

wenn5397133

Just a little Lindsay Lohan and Lohan family news, just for kicks. It’s funny to me that we still have daily (sometimes twice-daily) stories about Lindsay and the Family Lohan even now that Lindsay is theoretically out of the public eye. She did so many photo shoots before she went to jail, and we haven’t even seen the end of them – after all, she’s going to be Vanity Fair’s October cover girl, right? Plus, the Lohan Family is to crack shenanigans what Nicole Kidman is to Botox. They need each other. They feed off of each other. They are entwined lovers.

Anyway, Lindsay can’t have regular visitors at her UCLA rehab, she can only see her family. Is this some kind of crackhead lockdown, or is this standard operating procedure for court-ordered rehab?

TMZ has learned Lindsay Lohan has a very strict guest list at UCLA rehab — in fact, the only people allowed to visit her while she’s inside the facility are blood relatives … but that all changes in a few weeks.

Multiple sources close to Lindsay tell us the actresses friends have been told that LiLo is on a program which prohibits LiLo from receiving visits from non-relatives … until she’s completed the first 30 days of her 90 day stint.

We’re also told Lindsay has to personally approve each visitor before they’re allowed inside. Lindsay’s mom Dina and sister Ali have already dropped by multiple times since the actress began treatment.

[From TMZ]

Eh. The only thing I really, really want to know about Lindsay’s rehab is if she’s detoxing from everything, including her prescriptions. I think that if Judge Revel got her way, Lindsay is off the painkillers and opiates completely, and I’m sure that it’s a f-cking mess. “It” being Lindsay, of course.

One more story – you know how just before Lindsay went to jail, she hired back her poor assistant Eleonore? Well, she’s is still being employed, it seems, and according to TMZ, Poor Eleonore is now “assisting” Dina and Ali:

There is actually a job more insane than being Lindsay Lohan’s assistant — tending to the needs of her mom and sister!

Sources close to Eleonore, Lindsay’s long-suffering assistant, tell TMZ she is “miserable,” “super-stressed” and “incredibly worn out” these days — which is strange because Lindsay has been “away” for nearly a month.

But now she has to do Dina and Ali Lohan’s bidding. We’re told Dina “goes on about nothing for days,” constantly rambling about potential business deals. One such “deal” centers around a storage unit Lindsay has with her old clothes and other belongings that don’t fit in her apartment. According to our sources, Dina thinks there’s money to be made off the stuff with a Lohan garage sale.

Throw 16-year-old Ali in the mix and now Eleonore’s got double the errands, pick ups, drop offs, etc … and suddenly someone’s counting down to Lindsay’s release.

82 days to go, Eleonore.

[From TMZ]

In the brief time that Eleonore wasn’t being employed by anyone named Lohan, she was fielding offers from several tabloids for a tell-all on what Lindsay was really like. The offers were reaching the mid-to-high five figures, and I personally thought Eleonore could have gotten more if she really was interested in selling her story. But she went back, unfortunately for her. Maybe she’s working on a book? That might be awesome. Also: I love this portrait of Dina. Can’t you see it? A completely orange Dina just rambling about how awesome it would be to sell everything that Lindsay ever touched… I can see the dollar signs in Dina’s eyes right now. It’s like Dina just can’t wait until Lindsay is dead, just because then the money will really be rolling in.

Lindsay Lohan “models” for Marc Ecko, will not be weaned off her Adderall

blohan3

These are some new photos of Lindsay Lohan dressed as a whory ninja for Marc Ecko’s new ads, all of the images courtesy of TMZ. Sigh… Lindsay and her crack tittays. According to TMZ, this is all part of Marc Ecko’s “secret” campaign for Muse, which I guess is the new clothing line…? Perfume? Eh. If you’re going to hire a cracked-out mess for your photos, don’t want to see her crackface? A source tells TMZ that Lindsay was hired because she was someone “whom fascinated us — for better or worse.” Yep.

Speaking of her crackface, Lindsay’s lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley gave an interview to Radar about how Lindsay is totally NOT being “weened” off of her prescription for Adderall:

Lindsay Lohan is not being weened off the drug adderall, her lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley tells RadarOnline.com exclusively.

We’ve also learned that Lindsay does not have a roommate but is interacting with a small group of other patients at UCLA Medical Center, where she is undergoing 90 days of court-ordered rehab.

“Ms. Lohan is not in a locked unit at the hospital. It’s a section of the hospital that treats normal people with various issues.” Holley told RadarOnline.com. “I was with my client when she was admitted to the hospital on Monday morning.”

Doctors are evaluating Lindsay’s prescription drug intake and will make the necessary modifications.

“Her doctors are looking at what prescriptions she is currently taking, whether or not the dosages need to be increased, decreased or stopped,” Holley told RadarOnline.com.

“Lindsay’s doctors are looking at everything she is taking, and determining what changes if any need to occur.”

Day-to-day life for Lindsay brings her in contact with a small group of patients, a source told us.

“Lindsay doesn’t have a roommate,” the source said. “None of the patients on the unit she is in have a roomate, but Lindsay is interacting with other patients. It’s a very small unit, and Lindsay will be receiving the best medical care while staying there.”

[From Radar]

Hm… she’s not in lockdown? That’s weird. Because I would have thought that if the court ordered her to be there and Lindsay wasn’t locked-down, she would already be at the bar doing tequila shots and snorting a heady mix of crushed Adderall, cocaine and biscuits. Oh, and Dina just told the paps that Lindsay is doing “fine.” Oh, stay tuned. The crack drama is coming.

What will become of Ali Lohan now that Lindsay is in rehab for three months?

wenn5520814

Here are some more photos of Ali and Dina Lohan’s last trip to jail, last week. These are the photos that made me wonder if Ali has gotten a recent boob job, which I asked last Friday. That was not the first time the specter of Ali’s potential and probable plastic surgery was raised – back in 2008, various people were convinced she had a boob job then too. Plus, all of the blind items that seem to be about Lindsay telling Ali to get her boobs done. Ugh… this poor kid. If she’s not out in public looking totally jacked and sickly, she’s photographed looking inappropriately busty to visit her older sister’s jail. As much as I think Lindsay is at the point where she should be responsible for her own actions, I have to admit that I think Lindsay got screwed up royally by her parents, and now Lindsay is paying it forward to Ali (with some additional help from Dina and Michael). Babble just ran a piece asking if Ali was “fated” to end up like Lindsay:

In light of the news that Lindsay Lohan was released from jail early today and sent directly to rehab at the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, our thoughts turn to her parents and their role in all of this.

There’s no question that Dina and Michael Lohan have both sought out their own share of fame through their daughter, from way back in her child-star days. And it seems to us, that while Lindsay’s parents were watching out for themselves–and using Lindsay as a vehicle for their own success–they forgot to give her the nurturing a child needs. We’re not saying Lindsay’s addictions and jail-worthy habits were all her parents’ fault, but we definitely think it contributed.

In the wake of Lindsay’s jail time, it seems her parents have had no choice but to acknowledge the starlet’s troubled ways–her dad, Michael, even giving her his own personal jail-time advice. But have they changed their own ways…or will they continue this course with Lindsay’s younger sister, Ali?

There was already the Living Lohan reality show which primarily followed Dina and Ali in their everyday lives–and we wonder if that’s not going to be the last of it. We’re fearful for the day Dina starts pushing Ali’s career, turning her into a mini Lindsay, drug problems and all.

[From Babble]

I do think it’s already started for Ali. In the past year, Ali has pretty much been living with and traveling with Lindsay full-time. God knows what kind of insane, cracked-out, horrible, disturbing sh-t Ali has seen. And I worry that with Lindsay in rehab – mandatory – for three months, Ali is going to be spending all of her time with Dina (because God knows, the girl doesn’t go to school), and Dina is going to be pulling the same bullsh-t enabling crap that she pulled on Lindsay for so many years. Will Ali manage to break free? Or will she be even worse than Lindsay? Those are basically the only two possibilities I see for her.

Lindsay Lohan, Maxim cover girl: “This too shall pass.”

blohan

I hope I don’t sound too nasty, but did this bitch just spend her entire pre-jail time doing photo shoots? Is Lindsay Lohan just a cracked-out model at this point? So, yes, Lindsay somehow managed to do a photo shoot for the cover of September’s Maxim magazine – this is in addition to her GQ Germany photo shoot, her Vanity Fair photo shoot (for the October cover) and her Complex magazine shoot. She loves to have her picture taken. She lives to be cracked-out in front of a camera. As for the actual Maxim photos, eh. They Photoshopped her face to look less cracked-out, and she almost looks natural and pretty. She also gave an interview! Let’s see how she sounds:

maxim2

On her incarceration:
“I am feeling strong. I’ve experienced a lot in my life, and my mom has given me a lot of faith. This too shall pass.”

Her goal:
“To focus on myself and my work, and to move all press on me to focus on the work I do. Also, I’d like to do more work in India and travel to Malawi.”

Her personal motto:
“Stay true to yourself always. At the end of the day, you have to look at yourself in the mirror and be content with the choices you’ve made, and will make, in your life. Go with your gut!”

On the past year of cracked-out shenanigans: “Another year in a lifetime of living and learning.”

On her inspiration: “Sex appeal and sensuality … without trying too hard. I feel that women have such power with their bodies alone.”

[From HuffPo and Hollyscoop]

Yes, delusional as always. That’s our crackhead! Lindsay also discussed her role in Inferno, where she will be playing Lindsa Lovelace. Although there have been some rumors that Lindsay will be replaced, producers came out yesterday and said that the part is still Lindsay’s. Lindsay spoke about playing Lovelace in Maxim as well: “”I don’t really want to discuss anything until I am on set… I need some secrets.” Tyler Shields also released more images of Blohan as Lovelace too:

Lindsay Lohan is upset, depressed, doesn’t think she “needs any help”

wenn2600148

Lindsay Lohan’s first full day post-jail did not go as anyone expected. First of all, there was no cracked-out photo op of Lindsay strutting her stuff just feet away from an open jail cell, where she would begin to run into her waiting mother’s arms and promptly get a good contact high from Dina’s clothes. According to People Magazine, “Lindsay is very upset that the judge ordered her to go straight to rehab… she feels that she deserved to spend a day with her family after she behaved well in jail.” How mad is Lindsay? So mad that she’s “depressed”: “[She] is having a difficult time accepting that she will be in rehab for the next three months. She still doesn’t think that she needs any help.” That’s all from People’s sources, mind you. That’s the official version. You want the tabloid version? Because Radar’s sources claim that Lindsay is “in good spirits… but she is extremely tired. Lindsay is just relieved to be out of jail.” Also, Dina Lohan gave an interview to Radar:

Dina Lohan revealed the first intimate details about her reunion with daughter Lindsay Lohan in an exclusive statement to RadarOnline.com. Dina spoke about what it was like to see Lindsay following the actress’ release from prison.

“I was finally able to hug my daughter [last night] after two long weeks of speaking to her from behind a glass wall,” Dina said. “Lindsay is doing well, and is appreciative of the hundreds of well-wishers she has received.”

As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, Lindsay’s rehab plan was abruptly changed on Sunday following a media frenzy involving Morningside Recovery, the Newport Beach facility she was slated to attend. At the eleventh hour, Judge Marsha Revel ordered Lindsay to go to the UCLA Medical Center instead.

Following her release at 1:35 AM on Monday morning, Lindsay was driven directly to the hospital under high security. Lohan was transported from the women’s correctional facility in Lynwood to UCLA in an unmarked van. Her lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley and a representative from the hospital were also in the vehicle.

Amid speculation that Lindsay’s family was upset about the change in plans, Dina told RadarOnline.com: “Lindsay is with the utmost professionals and is in very good hands.” Dina continued, “I refuse to respond to any of my ex-husband’s false allegations about myself or my family.”

Sources tell RadarOnline.com that Lindsay is expected to complete her court-ordered 90 days of treatment at UCLA. Lohan will remain on probation for another year after being released from UCLA. She has been prohibited from consuming alcohol or illegal drugs and she will continue to be randomly drug tested.

[From Radar]

Dina sounds much more lucid and less delusional than her interview last week, where Dina whines about Lindsay’s “extremely harsh punishment” and that she was being treated “like a common criminal.” Also: the reason for the last minute switch from Morningside rehab to UCLA was the choice of Judge Revel – Revel thought Lindsay would have an easier time smuggling in drugs at Morningside. I seriously need to send the judge a muffin basket.

One more thing: Michael Lohan has been giving a bunch of interviews about Lindsay, but I consistently try to ignore him. He did more on Monday, but whatever. The thing that really grossed me out was that he made out with a young Lindsay-lookalike – photo here. Totally gross.

Lindsay Lohan was released from jail at 1:35 am, already in rehab

According to both TMZ and E! News, Lindsay Lohan was released from jail at 1:35 a.m., my guess is Pacific time. There were no Paris Hilton-esque bank of paparazzi waiting to capture her first steps as a free crackhead, however. Instead, Lindsay was driven immediately to UCLA Medical Center for treatment (for meth and bipolar disorder? Eh).

These last two weeks probably couldn’t go by fast enough for Lindsay Lohan. But Lohan (and her hair extensions) managed to make it through a sojourn at Lynwood’s Century Regional Detention Facility, serving 14 days of a 90-day sentence for a probation violation in a DUI case.

Lohan was sprung at 1:35 a.m. Monday, although she managed to elude dozens of camera crews outside. Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department spokesman Steve Whitmore told the assembled masses that Lohan was ushered to rehab in an unmarked van.

Not that she had time for teary reunions or fab photo ops…

Los Angeles Superior Court Marsha Revel had ordered that Lohan report to a treatment facility within 24 hours rather than allow her time to unwind before fulfilling the part of her sentence that’s actually going to last for 90 days.

“Per court order she has been sent directly to her next destination, which is a treatment center,” Whitmore said. “She is now under the supervision of the L.A. County Probation Department. This concludes her custody. We are done. Thank you all for behaving. We can all go home now.”

While early reports had the 24-year-old checking into the Morningside Recovery in coastal Orange County, about an hour south of Los Angeles, the actress was later said to be headed to the UCLA Medical Center for intense counseling for both substance abuse and emotional issues. There has been no confirmation from the facility, the D.A. or Lohan’s camp.

“The judge’s order will dictate the manner in which she will be released and to whom, and I have not seen that,” attorney Shawn Chapman Holley told E! News earlier Sunday after paying Lohan a visit in jail. “She is doing fine…She is ready.”

Holley, who despite originally trying to step down as Lohan’s counsel ended up being quite the vigilant legal eagle, has repeatedly argued that her client needed time with family upon her release, but Revel was ultimately too concerned that Lohan would relapse if left to her own devices.

Lohan’s get-out-of-jail time had already been pretty well established by Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department officials, so a horde of cameras, news crews and assorted looky-loos were there to try to in vain to capture the beleaguered starlet upon her release (we stopped counting at 100)—in a free-for-all reminiscent of when a certain socialite passed through those same doors several years ago.

[From E! News]

I think UCLA Medical Center sounds like a fine facility for Lindsay and her addictions. I was worried that she would be sent to some cupcake rehab where she would get some special dispensation to keep taking all of her prescriptions, but there’s something about the tone of this that makes me think that Judge Revel has taken a personal interest in getting Lindsay healthy, for real this time. Now my only concern is that 90 days might be too short a time to get her clean.

TMZ: Lindsay Lohan’s rehab will be for meth addiction, bipolar disorder

wenn2621819

I was going to wait to do this story for tomorrow, but I have the feeling that tomorrow will be the day that Lindsay gets out of jail, and these stories will be forgotten. First up: once Lindsay gets out of jail, she is being “forced” into rehab immediately by Judge Revel. I know what you’re thinking – Lindsay isn’t addicted to anything, so what’s the rehab for, right? Well, TMZ’s sources claim that Lindsay’s rehab stint will involve treatments for her addictions to crystal meth, opiates and her bipolar disorder. First… Lindsay was officially diagnosed as Bipolar? When did that happen? Second… meth? Yeah, that makes sense.

TMZ has learned Lindsay Lohan will be treated for addiction to methamphethamine and bipolar disorder during her court ordered 90 days in rehab.

According to a source familiar with Lindsay’s case, methamphetamine and opiates are her “drugs of choice”.

Methamphetamine — also known as crystal meth or simply meth — is a highly addictive stimulant and opiates, generally, have more of a downer effect.

Morningside Recovery — the Orange County, CA rehab Lilo’s scheduled to enter — lists opiate and methamphetamine detoxification among its specialties. As TMZ first reported, sources say Morningside was not on the list of facilities recommended by court appointed psychiatrists.

We’re told Lindsay will begin her rehab stint almost immediately after getting out of Lynwood Correctional Facility.

[From TMZ]

Here’s my question: the rehab facility will definitely force her to stop using her prescription painkillers, right? Because while I don’t doubt that Lindsay is a methhead, and a bipolar one at that, I think her biggest problem might be the prescriptions and the doctor-shopping.

My second Lindsay story – apparently, just before she went to jail, she filmed a (dumb) part in the trailer for the Underground Comedy 2010. She’s all cracked-out and dolled up like her icon, Marilyn Monroe, and she guns down some paparazzi. It’s all pretty stupid:

Dina Lohan whines that Lindsay “is treated like a common criminal”

wenn2939471

Delusion McMother-of-all-Crackheads speaks! No, that doesn’t quite have the poetry I wanted. Mother Crackhead? That sounds better. Mother Crackhead (aka Dina Lohan) has given an exclusive interview to Radar, and her delusions seriously know no bounds. Dina bitches and whines about her darling CHILD crackhead “doesn’t even have a pillow to sleep on… I talk to her through glass. There’s a phone and we put her on speaker but I can’t even hug my daughter. She’s treated like a common criminal.” While I NEVER! Imagine me, clutching my pearls at the sheer HORROR of a 24-year-old entitled bitch going without a pillow for two whole weeks… all for being a drunken, coked out mess who stole a car and kidnapped three people on a terrifying crackhead journey of destruction AND pissing away the next three years of probation and a gentle slap on the wrists by plummeting even further into a downward spiral of entitled narcissism and cracked-out shenanigans. Hmpf! NO PILLOW!!!!

Lindsay Lohan is NOT getting special treatment in jail and her life behind bars has been anything but comfortable, her mom Dina told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview on Thursday.

Lindsay, 24, doesn’t even have a pillow and talks to her mother and other visitors through a glass partition using a telephone, Dina revealed. Some reports have claimed Lindsay has a cell phone but Dina says that’s far from the truth.

“She doesn’t have cell phone privileges, that’s absurd. She doesn’t even have a pillow to sleep on,” Dina told RadarOnline.com exclusively. “I talk to her through glass. There’s a phone and we put her on speaker but I can’t even hug my daughter. She’s treated like a common criminal.”

But the Mean Girls star has been treated well while locked up, according to her mom.

“I have to say that the people inside have been pretty cool to her…the guards and the inmates.” Dina told RadarOnline.com

Lindsay has been at the Lynwood Correctional Center for nine days and is expected to be released any day. She will head straight to an inpatient rehab facility, most likely in Los Angeles. Her mom is greatly relieved.

“We’re all so happy that this is finally coming to a close,” Dina told RadarOnline.com. “When this first happened, we were all hysterical messes. But I’m so proud of Lindsay, she’s been so strong and positive, even under what I consider to be a extremely harsh punishment.”

Dina and Lindsay’s younger sister Ali were on their way to visit the actress on Thursday afternoon.

[From Radar]

And this is why I don’t think Lindsay will ever get better. Because nothing is EVER Lindsay’s fault, so how could anything EVER be Mother Crackhead’s fault? Instead, Lindsay gets praised and the glowing pride of Mother Crackhead, all for spending the “extremely harsh punishment” of two little weeks in a jail cell and being forced to create asinine crack drama to amuse herself – stuff like wailing and crying and begging for special treatment.

As for how Lindsay is really doing in jail, we have no idea, honestly. Dina makes it sound just terrible, like she’s going to call up her good friend Geneva Convention and get them to investigate why there are no Fudgie the Whale cakes on demand. Meanwhile, Lindsay’s lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley seems to want to dial down the crack drama. Holley has given a series of quotes to People Mag and other sources basically saying that Lindsay is just fine. In her most recent statement, Holley said Lindsay is “looking forward to her release… It’s a light at the end of the tunnel.

Lindsay Lohan doesn’t want to go to rehab right after jail
Actress Lindsay Lohan reacts following her sentencing by Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel during a probation status hearing in Beverly Hills, California on July 6, 2010. Revel sentenced Lohan to 90 days in jail Tuesday after ruling she violated probation in a 2007 drug case by failing to attend court-ordered alcohol education classes. UPI/David McNew/Pool Photo via Newscom

Would you like the real dish on what Lindsay Lohan is really and truly like in jail? Look no further than this hilariously tragic portrait of Lindsay, via The Sun’s sources:

LINDSAY LOHAN has been moved to solitary confinement to keep her away from abusive inmates, according to a recently released lag. The actress has reportedly kept prisoners at LA County jail awake at night as she wails over the taunts chanted at her repeatedly throughout the day. As a result, Lindsay’s been put in lockdown as officials bid to make conditions more bearable for all, says former inmate Cheryl Presser.

She revealed: “Lindsay would lie there shivering all night, crying and covering her face with her hands. Her wailing was keeping everyone awake. She had a hysterical fit, crying and yelling, so she got put in isolation.”

According to an insider, the once fashionable starlet is now wearing an orange jumpsuit and one-size-fits-all “granny panties” that she has to knot at the sides to keep from falling down.

“She’s been crying all day long and is a total mess,” says a source about Lindsay’s incarceration, which may reportedly last only 14 of the 90 days to which she was sentenced, due to overcrowding. “She’s now in a catatonic, out-of-it calm.”

Lindsay’s pampered lifestyle changed overnight, beginning with her 8-by-12-foot cell at the Lynwood jail in LA, which is kept at brutally cold temperatures. “Sleeping is difficult,” says the insider. And a Lynwood source claims that Lindsay was given a regular bed — versus the standard thin mattress the other inmates have — but only a thin blanket, without a pillow.

Even though Lindsay must be beyond miserable, she still receives preferential treatment, including her own television, special phone privileges, extended time with visitors and special food. Her perks have infuriated the gang leaders in the jail, who feel they’ve been upstaged by a celebrity. “Lots of girls in here would love to clock her, just to be known as ‘the girl who decked Lindsay,” says the insider. “She’d better watch herself.”

I mean, yes, it’s sad. But it’s also kind of funny, in the same way I found Lindsay’s crack tears funny when she was being sentenced. Lindsay is in her jail cell alone, and she’s been able to keep using her “prescription medication” so what the hell is she “wailing” about again? Oh, right. Because no one is paying attention to her and her stupid crack drama. It’s only for two weeks, for the love of God! Do you know how sort-of awesome that sounds?

Speaking of crack drama, Lindsay’s poor lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley told People Magazine that Lindsay is looking to have a few days as a buffer after she leaves jail and before she enters rehab. Holley says Lindsay would like to spend that time “with her family.” “Family” = “her real family, cocaine and vodka.”

With less than a week left in jail, Lindsay Lohan is now thinking – and worrying – about what comes next: her mandatory three months in rehab.

“She’s a little upset right now,” her attorney Shawn Chapman Holley said after visiting the actress Tuesday. “She’d like to spend some time with her family, and there’s at least some question as to whether or not she’ll have to go directly to rehab.”

Prosecutors confirmed Tuesday that Lohan must report to an L.A.-based residential rehab facility 24 hours after her release from jail, which likely will be Sunday or Monday, but her attorney is concerned “there’s a push now for her to go directly to rehab from jail.”

“I think it would only be fair for her to spend some time with her family and that’s what she’d like for me to emphasize to judge,” says Holley.

Lohan, 24, has been jailed at the women’s facility in Lynwood, Calif., since July 20 for a 90-day sentence for violating probation in a DUI case. Her term is being reduced due to overcrowding.

Yes, when Lindsay turned herself in, Judge Revel did emphasize that Lindsay was going to be going straight into rehab after her release from jail, so I’m not sure what all this crack drama is about now. Lindsay must really need a fix.

One last thing: remember how Lindsay got to keep her hair extensions? And how that was just one part of the list of special treatments Lindsay was getting? Well, the sheriff’s spokesman actually went on the record about it! According to this dude, Lindsay’s extensions “are bonded to her hair, sewn too close to the scalp to remove.
