Last year, Lady Gaga had a moment of awesomeness. She dumped her liquor-soaked on-again boyfriend Luc Carl and ended up getting with Taylor Kinney, the hottie she met on her “You & I” music video. Gaga and Taylor seemed to start up last September-ish, and they were spotted out together at various times through the fall and winter. Things were looking up for Ol’ Gaga. But Gaga is self-defeating, I think. And she just can’t quit Luc Carl’s mangy ass. Radar/Star reports that Gaga’s “fling” with Kinney is “cooling off” and she’s rekindling something with Luc. Ugh.

Lady Gaga is not able to hide her devotion to ex-boyfriend Lüc Carl with a poker face these days, as a source tells Star magazine that her fling with actor Taylor Kinney is cooling off, while her feelings for Lüc are heating back up!

“They never really gave up on each other: they’ve been talking a lot lately,” the source says of Lüc, who recently authored a book called The Drunk Diet, and is expected to meet up with Gaga in their native New York in the near future. (In contrast, Gaga and Kinney haven’t been seen out publicly in a month.)

The 26-year-old Bad Romance singer — who plugged Lüc’s book to her 22 million Twitter followers on March 25 — is “impressed by how ambitious he’s become since they split a year ago,” the insider tells Star.

“He wrote the book and is opening his own club,” the insider says, predicting Lüc and his Lady will “probably end up together again.”

From what I’ve seen of Luc Carl, he’s like a drunker, even more busted version of Trace Cyrus, so… I hope Gaga knows what she’s doing. I think Kinney is gorgeous, so obviously, if I was in Gaga’s place, I’d keep Taylor around just to have something pretty to look at. I just don’t “get” why Luc has this hold on Gaga. Is it because he knew her before she became famous? Because that sh-t only goes so far.

Over the past year or so, Lady Gaga has changed. I’ve noted it time and time again – all of a sudden, it was like she’s was humorless, narcissistic, coked-up monster where before that, she had been kind of funny and kooky and weird, but it just seemed silly and fun. I partially blamed the change on her relationship with Luc Carl. Gaga and Luc had been together before she was famous, and then last year, they got back together. Their renewal came around the same time as Gaga’s “change”. Well, here’s hoping she changes back, because Gaga announced last night that she and Luc are done:

“Bad Romance,” indeed. Lady Gaga, 25, has ended her on-and-off relationship with Luc Carl, the singer announced Thursday on England’s The Graham Norton Show.

“I don’t have a boyfriend and haven’t been on any dates recently,” the pop star said.

The couple split several years ago before rekindling their romance in July 2010. Despite their breakup, the “Judas” singer credits Carl, a musician and bartender, for helping her become “successful” in the music industry.

“I’ve really never loved anyone like I loved him. Or like I love him,” she told Rolling Stone last year. “That relationship really shaped me. I sort of resolved that if you can’t have the guy of your dreams, there are other ways to give love.”

Hours after announcing her breakup to the world, Gaga performed a private concert, Belvedere Presents Born This Way, at Annabel’s in London; she played five songs from her new album while celebrities including Kate Moss, Florence Welch, will.i.am and Geri Halliwell cheered her on.

Eh. That was kind of a weak denial, and now I’m doubting it. The bitch is probably lying. Luc has some kind of pull on her, and I think he actively encourages her self-destructive streak. Either that or he dumped Gaga and went back to that other girlfriend.

Surprisingly, Lady Gaga’s romantic life doesn’t get a lot of coverage. I’m struggling to understand why, because she’s already had quite a bit of boy drama already. First it was because she allegedly homewrecked her way into a relationship with a business partner, who was living with a girlfriend and their child. And currently Gaga is in a relationship with Luc Carl, a dude she already dated and broke up with years ago, before she was famous. Luc allegedly had a girlfriend when he and Gaga hooked up for the second time – and there were even some reports that Luc was seeing both women concurrently. Now the other girl has given an interview about Luc and Gaga, and the dramz is heavy:

It was no match. Smoking-hot actress Alex Stebbins knew she didn’t stand a chance when her boyfriend dumped her to go back to his former love — Lady Gaga.

“I wasn’t going to go toe to toe with Lady Gaga, because that’s like fighting Jesus,” Stebbins told The Post yesterday. “She’s the most powerful woman in the world, and there’s no winning.”

Stebbins, 21, and Luc Carl, a 29-year-old bartender and drummer, had been together for a year, she said, when Gaga reentered his life.

“She can literally have anything she wants, and I had the one thing she couldn’t have, and that made her want it more.”

Stebbins — who played a bondage pinup girl in an episode of “Law & Order: SVU” — met Carl in August 2009.

“The first thing he told me was that he had a very famous ex-girlfriend. I didn’t care,” she said.

The two began dating. But trouble started once Gaga heard Carl was dating a new woman. About three months into their relationship, Stebbins said, the 24-year-old pop superstar started calling and texting Carl.

“Luc ignored her. He said he was done with her. All they did was fight,” Stebbins said.
“She’d pick at him for anything, and he couldn’t take it. He said she was a very jealous person.”

Stebbins said Gaga was the only problem in their otherwise “perfect relationship.”

“It was really hard to be with someone who has a really famous ex-girlfriend who would stop at nothing to get him back,” she griped.

Last June, Carl took Stebbins to Las Vegas for her birthday. When they returned, she found she had run out of Luc. Carl confessed that the day before heading west, Gaga had showed up at their apartment in Brooklyn’s Carroll Gardens. She stayed for half an hour, begged for him to come back, and he agreed. Later, when Gaga made a spectacle of herself at Citi Field — stripping to her underwear and flipping the bird during a Met game — Carl was with her, according to Stebbins.

“It was so in my face,” she said. “It felt like I got punched in the gut.”

Reps for Gaga and Carl declined comment.

If this story is true, then it was a bitch move by Gaga. Although I think some exceptions are made (sometimes) when it’s an ex-boyfriend, and you had the guy first. Still, it does sound like Gaga was still really hung up on Luc (Does his dick taste like Snickers? I don’t get it.) and she decided to pursue him aggressively. HOWEVER – I think Luc wanted to be with Gaga. He wouldn’t have gone with her if he didn’t want to, and this whole “Gaga is so powerful, she could have any man” thing is just silly. This Alex girl doesn’t seem very bright.

LADY GAGA wants to tie the knot at a fairytale Christmas wedding in a British castle. The oddball singer has told members of her crew she will get hitched to boyfriend LUC CARL here when her world tour returns to the UK in December.

GaGa is not one to do things by halves. It is bound to be the strangest showbiz wedding – in fact any wedding – of all time. Given her love of outrageous costumes, I can’t even begin to think what the dress will look like.

According to a senior member of her road crew, GaGa has told her staff she wants a lavish winter ceremony in the British countryside. The flamboyant star begins the latest European leg of her Monster Ball Tour in Helsinki on October 13 and it arrives back in London for shows at the O2 Arena on December 16 and 17. Then she has two months off before hitting the road in the US and plans to use it to wed club promoter Luc.

The roadie said: “Lady GaGa has told everyone she plans to get married. She has said she wants a fairytale wedding in a castle. We finish the European leg in London just before Christmas and the timing is perfect for the wedding.”

GaGa wants to arrive in a horse-drawn carriage for her castle ceremony in England or Scotland over the festive season the source added.

And it’s also been claimed the couple want their wedding bands to be like ELVIS PRESLEY’s horseshoe ring, and for DITA VON TEESE to spring from a cake and perform a burlesque routine. With GaGa you can’t rule anything out.

The singer and Luc first dated in 2005 before she hit the bigtime. But they recently rekindled their love. He has been a source of strength to Lady G – real name Stefani Germanotta – during the loss of her grandad. Former barman Luc comforted his girlfriend when she visited ailing Joseph in New Jersey a final time before his death, and was again very supportive at the funeral last week.

GaGa has made no secret of her love of rural Britain, our traditional country pubs and grub like fish and chips. And her idol MADONNA got spliced to GUY RITCHIE at Skibo Castle in Scotland.

Look, if Gaga wants to marry Luc, by all means, she should. But I do doubt the accuracy of this report, and I doubt that Gaga wants to get married right now. Her new album comes out in January, I believe, and she’ll be headed for heavy promotional duties yet again in just a few months. Plus, Gaga loves her fans too much to get married, you know? She’s married to her fans, I think.
