Jennifer Lopez is so adverse to spending time in ex Ben Affleck’s hometown of Boston that she refuses to perform there. The Northeastern city has too many bad memories for her after her broken engagement to Ben and she’s not about to go back voluntarily:

Jennifer Lopez is touring cities from Los Angeles to Miami to promote her latest CD, Brave. But there’s one city where she won’t be performing - Boston! “Jennifer has very bad memories of the city,” a friend tells Star. It’s where [ex-boyfriend] Ben Affleck proposed to her and where Ben is from.” Since their 2004 split, J.Lo and Ben “have not been friends,” adds the pal. “She’s mad that he continues to trash her and their relationship in the media.”

Affleck told Details Magazine recently that dating J.Lo “was probably bad for my career,” and that the tabloids made up a lot of crap about them. It’s possible this story is made up too, and that Lopez isn’t playing Boston because she couldn’t fit it into her schedule or something and that it has nothing to do with Ben.

Lopez is definitely pregnant despite not making a public statement or confirming the rumors. Her stomach is clearly visible, even in the loose fug outfits she’s been wearing on tour. At a joint gig on Friday in LA, Lopez’s husband Marc Anthony sang the Journey hit “Faithfully,” dedicating it to her and saying that “[the] song has a whole new significance.” It includes the lyrics “They say that the road ain’t no place to start a family.” Isn’t that song about an impoverished musician being separated from his wife? It doesn’t really seem to apply to a multi-millionaire couple that gives detailed requests of how the room should be stocked before they stay in five star hotels.

Jennifer Lopez sure is a bundle of contradictions. Though she’s talked quite a bit about her desire to have children, she has yet to confirm her pregnancy, which doesn’t seem to be a matter of “if” so much as “when” and “how many” at this point. A lot of people have pointed out that even if someone is famous, they’re still under no obligation to inform the rest of us as to the status of their bellies. Alright, I’ll buy that (you’re forgiven, Christina Aguilera) but J Lo has actually said that if she was pregnant, she’d be hollering about it so loudly you’d hear her from the other side of the county. Or some such thing. My point being, she hasn’t given us any reason to believe she’d be coy about it, and yet here she is, keeping her lips sealed.

So would you like further proof that she’s got a bun (or two, depending on reports) in the oven? She and husband Marc “Skeletor” Anthony spent two hours at famed Los Angeles baby boutique Petit Tresor shopping for the future baby Lopez. They even had the store closed down so they could do it in privacy. Ahh, to be rich and powerful. And married to a really ugly guy.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony still aren’t speaking about their pregnancy, but their shopping is doing all the talking for them! The parents-to-be visited Petit Tresor, the baby boutique to the stars, Wednesday afternoon to iron out nursery design details, a source tells OK!. And the two spared no expense, dropping more than $50,000 on supplies!

“Petit Tresor will be designing their baby nursery and the theme is nursery rhymes,” the source says. After being ushered into the store, which was closed off to the public, through a back entrance, Marc and J.Lo spent two hours picking out the perfect baby necessities and accessories, most of which will be custom-made, including the cribs, changing tables and armoires. “There will also be custom-painted murals on the walls,” the source adds. As OK! confirmed earlier this month, the couple is doubling their pleasure with twins. But because they have yet to find out the sexes, “they’ve chosen both ‘boy’ and ‘girl’ items, which will be interchangeable and the design for the nursery will be finalized when they do know the genders of both.” Also on the registry are strollers, Moses baskets, a complete layette, blankets and a handful of toys.

Can you imagine having $50,000 to spend on your own, adult room? Most of us would be thrilled with $50,000 to spend decorating our whole house. But a baby? Come on, the kid is going to have no idea. You know the rule, you buy your child an expensive toy, and they have more fun playing in the box it came in. I bet you anything, Baby Lopez (I’m calling him/her that because the idea of a Baby Anthony is utterly terrifying to my soul) will spend more of its time making forts under the golden crib than giving a care that he/she has a golden crib in the first place. Regardless, I’d love to say “Congrats” to the happy couple, but until I hear an announcement, I’m going to technically assume that J-Lo has just gotten fat in one very specific area. So until you tell me otherwise Jennifer, I’m going to suggest that you might want to do some sit-ups.

Jennifer Lopez smirked her way through David Letterman’s baby blabber, and ignored Diane Sawyer’s hints at how ‘happy she was’, but no direct baby questions were asked. Are we getting the impression that maybe some kind of pre-interview confidentiality agreement is out there? After all, David wasn’t exactly polite to Paris Hilton last week about going to prison. Maybe J.Lo is scarier than Paris?

However, one person has signed nothing but divorce papers from Marc Anthony, and she has a word to say about J.Lo’s pregnancy.

I’m glad Jennifer’s stepkids will like the baby, but here’s a weird response J.Lo’s publicist gave to Dayanara Torres’ statement.

“What happened was that the day before I had shown Dayanara the pictures which have been spreading through the Internet of Jennifer, and I warned her that, as had been published, she might be pregnant. I did it in case the children asked her. The eldest is six years old, and he hears the comments at school and on the press. But the truth is we know nothing.”

I’m offering congratulations to Jennifer and Marc right now. I am hugely pregnant right now and sick of people pointing out how big and fat I am (and yes, people actually use the term ‘fat’), so I can imagine that if she’s not pregnant she’s hating all the speculation. If she isn’t pregnant, then I guess the belly explains the lackluster dance moves on her tour – too out of shape to groove.

TMZ is saying that they have confirmed with “sources” that Jennifer Lopez is pregnant with twins. So there’s a slightly new spin on the story. The couple have publicly let everyone and their mother know that they want kids – and then as J-Lo’s stomach began to grow, heartedly denied all questions of pregnancy. Now whenever someone quotes “sources” it’s a good idea to take it with a grain of salt, but J-Lo’s reportedly been undergoing fertility treatments, which dramatically raise the chances of having multiple babies. Or it could just be speculation because twins would make an extra cute story. Aww, wouldn’t it be funny if one baby were all pretty like Lopez, and the other looked like a little troll doll like Anthony? Not funny “haha,” funny “sad.”

“After months of ‘is she? or isn’t she?’ controversy, Jennifer Lopez, 38, is set to announce her impending motherhood during her Madison Square Garden concert in NYC on October 7. More importantly — La Lopez has a bigger surprise up her sleeve — she’s having twins!

Yeah one can only hope for “two little lady Lopez’s” because anything that resembled Anthony would be a terrible, terrible thing to inflict upon the world. So I guess OK has their own source too. It’s hard to know if it’s a different source than TMZ’s (which I guess is what they’re telling us, since the “source” is telling them exclusively) but I’d bet it’s just one person blabbing to everyone who will pay.

Even though I really don’t think Marc Anthony should be allowed to procreate (no, not JUST because he’s ugly but also because he’s supposedly scarily Svengali-like) I really hope they’re pregnant – Lopez has been vocal about wanting kids for a long time, and for some reason I can’t explain I absolutely love her. So I hope she pops out as many fat little non-Marc Anthony-looking babies as she’s able.

We’ve learned that Jennifer Lopez is pregnant with twins, according to friends. Now we’ve learned that she and husband MArc Anthony are expecting a boy and a girl in the spring.

“Marc wants to name their daughter after his mother, Guillermina - and they’re toying with English versions of the Spanish name, which loosely translates to Wilma or Wilamina,” revealed the friend.

“Because Marc already has two sons, Jennifer will chose the name of their baby boy.”

Now in her second trimester, Jennifer, 38, “feels great and looks radiant,” said the friend. “She’s having no morning sickness, and she’s eating really well.”

Congratulations to Marc and Jennifer if this news is true. She certainly looks pregnant and Marc said that thing about how “it’s a blessing to watch her grow on a daily basis.”

Despite multiple denials from both Jennifer Lopez and her husband of an inexplicable three years, Marc Anthony, they are said to be planning to announce Lopez’s pregnancy at their joint concert at Madison Square Garden on Sunday:

Bronx native Jennifer Lopez, 38, plans to “announce that she and (husband) Marc Anthony are expecting their first child on Saturday night at her Madison Square Garden concert,” said an insider.

On September 19th Anthony’s publicist denied that Lopez was pregnant, saying “Everyone calls about this every month with the hopes that they’ll hit the mark, but no. No.”

Then Lopez herself claimed she wasn’t pregnant about a week later when she was asked directly, saying: “No, no! We get this every week! I don’t mind when people talk about this, I get the interest. I’m not the only [celeb] who gets these rumors.”

The rumors started when Lopez showed up at the unveiling of her god-awful clothing line, Just Sweet, wearing a green sack-like dress and sporting what looked like a baby bump from a certain angle. She has continued to wear fug loose clothing at public appearances and her concerts with Anthony, and people thought she was either trying to hide a slight weight gain or fibbing about a pregnancy because she hadn’t reached the third month mark yet.

Yesterday a picture surfaced of Lopez’s top blowing up while she was performing to show what looked like a baby bump. Perez ran it, saying “We totally see a baby bump there. Do U????” People has it today, and it looks like she’s protecting her bump in this shot:

If she is pregnant and is going to announce it and everything, why did they both lie about it instead of saying “no comment”? I know this is common practice among celebrities, but there’s no need to be so adamant that it’s not true, it just makes them seem disingenuous. Then again Marc Anthony and J.Lo never came off as honest, down to earth people.

Congratulations to Lopez and Anthony if this is true. She is rumored to be pregnant with twins.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony made an appearance at a public school in the Bronx yesterday to help kick off their upcoming joint concert tour. Lopez had everyone speculating that despite her husband’s rep saying she’s not pregnant, she’s just delaying an announcement until it’s absolutely necessary. She wore a lose billowy gray short dress (not exactly a muumuu, but I took some license) and a black hat.

Her face also looked curiously puffy, which some say could be an indication of pregnancy hormones or weight gain. To me it looks like she had some minor work done recently and is trying to hide the swelling by wearing a hat.

Lopez grew up near the school she visited with Anthony, and she got a little choked up around the kids. Marc Anthony is from Spanish Harlem and noted that one of his old teachers is now the principal at the school:

But Lopez clearly was touched by the hundreds of fans who swarmed the sidewalks and the school’s choir, which sang for the couple.

“We look at you and we see ourselves,” Lopez said. “I can remember doing little songs at school and being onstage and dreaming of great things. And seeing all of you so full of beauty and life and energy, and knowing that - how far you can go - it still touches my heart.”

Anthony recognized P.S. 36 Principal Nilda Rivera as a teacher of his when he was growing up in Spanish Harlem.

“She was a huge part of my youth,” Anthony said.

The News notes that Anthony and Lopez will donate $1 from each concert ticket sold to the ING Run for Something Better Program, an exercise program for children that aims to help prevent and treat child obesity. The school Anthony and Lopez visited participates in the program.

If Lopez isn’t pregnant she could be undergoing fertility treatments that are making her a bit bloated. Even if she’s self conscious of that, she’s probably loving the speculation. I doubt that it would make her face all swollen like that though.

Jennifer Lopez’s list of requirements before she stays in a hotel room are much more detailed and demanding than Mandy Moore’s concert rider. (Although I make more demands on my husband in an average day than Moore asks for on tour.) Lopez wants everything just so before she’ll stay in a hotel and The Daily Mail is there with the details.

Now that I read this list I think I know where that non baby-bump came from. (She is not fat at all, in fact I’m about the same size as she is, I just dislike her and wanted to be snarky.)

Coors lite? Who drinks that swill? I guess J.Lo or one of her people must. That’s some crappy beer.

I also want to know why she needs a toaster and condiments when she’s not even asking for bread or meat. Is she going to supply her own bread and meat when she’s making all those other demands? They’re perishables, but she’s asking for fruit and as long as she’s listing requirements she may as well cover everything.

There’s also another story about J.Lo’s mom, Guadalupe, saying that her daughter never tells her anything and that she has no idea if she’s pregnant or not(I never would have covered this stupid hotel rider story if there wasn’t something else to report about J.Lo today.) The NY Daily News sent a reporter to her mom’s house, and she was pretty upfront about not talking to her daughter:

The couple has been trying for years to give her a grandchild - but Guadalupe sounded almost indifferent to the prospect.

“I didn’t hear about it,” she said coolly.” You know more than I do. I don’t talk to her very often. I don’t see her often.”

Guadalupe said she is “very busy here taking care of my sister,” who was at Guadalupe’s house at the time.” [Jennifer is] very busy doing what she does.”

Maybe she’s just one of those blunt people. I know plenty of moms who would talk smack about their busy daughters if they didn’t hear from them for a while. It might not mean that their relationship is bad, just that her mother is mad that she’s not more in touch.

The Daily News quotes J.Lo as saying in a 2005 interview “My mum’s tough. I don’t want to get into that because it’s a little personal and she gets angry with me when I say things. But, you know, she loves me a lot, so no one’s good enough.”

They speculate that Guadalupe might not like Lopez’s current husband, Marc Anthony, but it could go deeper than that.

Really, with Lopez travelling around the world keeping everything at 80 degrees and just perfect, how could she have time for her mom?

So, the Jennifer Lopez pregnancy rumours are circulating again – the poor woman probably just had a big glass of champagne before walking down the catwalk. That’s what the baby bump was. Or at least, that’s what it seems to be according to husband Marc Anthony.

So, he didn’t mention the champagne theory. But I like the fact he mentions that people call every month with the rumour wanting it confirmed or denied. Is Marc Anthony suggesting we’re following his wife’s ovulation cycle?

Some reports have had Jennifer pregnant with twins, even offering detailed stories of ultrasound results and fertility treatments, but I personally like her attitude about not having a baby until God is ready for her to. Particularly since we all seem to forget she’s that other special kind of mommy – a stepmommy to Marc Anthony’s three children.

Jennifer is very busy right now, promoting her new album, but is also keen to perform with the Spice Girls.

According to the Sunday People, the singer said: “I’d love to get back out there on tour and I’d really like to perform on the same stage as the Spice Girls.”

Speaking about Victoria Beckham, Lopez said: “Even before we were friends, Posh was always my favourite.”

I think the tabloids have made up a lot of those “Jennifer Lopez is devastated she can’t conceive” just like most of the “Jennifer Aniston is lonely and miserable without Brad Pitt” stories. They kind of assume they would feel that way in that position, so it’s probably safe that Jennifer Lopez is dying for babies and can’t think of anything else, and Jennifer Aniston is dying of sadness. They’re both successful career women…of varying talent, depending on your opinion. I know most people don’t like J-Lo… I’ve never been able to explain why, but I really like her. Marc Anthony scares the bejezus out of me, and makes me concerned that they’d have babies with shrunken heads, but other than that, it’s all good.

Marc Anthony, in case you weren’t sure, is that guy who’s married to Jennifer Lopez. Here’s what he has to say about their relationship.

“She’s always been the boss! I don’t know what’s changed,” Anthony, 38, told PEOPLE at Tuesday’s Los Angeles premiere of the couple’s movie El Cantante, which Lopez, also 38, also produced.

“That’s the first thing a man has to know,” he says. “Absolutely, no question about it.”

Although, J.Lo does make some concessions to Marc.

“I think we’ll travel in the same bus, but we’ll get ready in separate buses,” said Anthony, before his wife quickly interjected: “Only because I have hair and makeup and all kinds of people. And then when he starts getting ready, he takes hours.” The pair laughed.

“I nap up to 15 minutes before I go onstage,” Anthony admitted. Fortunately, his wife plays by his rules: “So I can’t make noise when I’m getting ready,” Lopez explained.

No reviews of the movie are out yet, but can it really be worse the Gigli? Some ar saying that it’s good, but generally when they’re interviewing her, and would you really be rude enough to say it stinks right to her face?
