Matthew McConaughey shares photo of newborn baby daughter Vida

mcconaugheybaby
Matthew McConaughey has shared a photo of his newborn daughter, Vida, on his website. Little Vida was born to Matthew and his longterm girlfriend, Camila Alves, on January 3. The photo was taken in the hospital and Visa is sleeping while Matt and Camila look at each other lovingly. It’s one of the cutest and most intimate first baby photos I’ve seen, and all that’s missing is their older child Levi, one and a half. There’s something to be said for the fact that McConaughey has his own charity but they made the decision not to sell the photo, even for a good cause, and to release it free of charge. They premiered Levi in OK! Magazine and gave the proceeds to McConaughey’s JK Livin foundation.

Meet Matthew McConaughey’s new daughter Vida!

On his official website, the actor, 40, and girlfriend Camila Alves have released the first photo of their baby girl, who was born Jan. 3 in Los Angeles (she weighed in at 7 lbs., 7 oz.).

“Our latest family member, Vida Alves McConaughey,” McConaughey wrote under the baby’s photo.

Alves, who makes her debut as host of the Bravo hairstyling reality show Shear Genius on Feb. 3, tells the new Us Weekly (out now) that the baby “is doing great.”

“It’s easier with the second child, because, you know what she’ll be like,” said Alves, 27, who welcomed their first child, son Levi, in 2008.

She said their 19-month-old son is “at the fun stage where he’s talking. He loves saying Vida’s name!”

McConaughey couldn’t be a more doting dad, she added.

Said Alves, “To see a father with his child is beautiful.”

[From US Weekly]

Yesterday we heard that there may be a hint of trouble in McConaughey and Alves’ relationship and that Alves’ mother was pressuring her daughter to get a formal agreement out of McConaughey. The couple is not married and Alves’ mother is said to be concerned about her daughter’s future. It’s probably an issue that they’re not overly concerned about and will work out in time.

Vida is a lovely name and it means “life” in both Spanish and Alves’ first language, Portugese. Vida is sleeping in this picture and her face is all scrunched up, but you can see how adorable she is. I want to kiss her little head and cheeks. Will Matthew eventually share the story of his daughter’s arrival with a colorful description of the birth scene? We can only hope.

Is Camila Alves’ mom trying to get Matthew McConaughey to sign a financial pact?

The Los Angeles Premiere Of One Peace At A Time
The National Enquirer has a story this week that suggests that all is not well in the mellow household of Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves. Camila and Matthew are allegedly at odds over financial issues after Camila’s mother urged her to get a more formal agreement out of her baby daddy. These two aren’t married and while easygoing Matt has promised Camila he’ll always take care of her and their two children, he’s not ready to sign off on a legal agreement that will make it official, whether that be by getting married or promising her a specific settlement. They do live in the 50-50 divorce state after all:

Camila’s mom Multo Abrigado is pushing her unmarried daughter – mother of Matthew’s two children – to work out a financial agreement with the big-screen hunk, sources say.

But the 40-year-old bachelor is balking, insiders say.

“Camila’s mother is very traditional, and she’s worried that since they are not married, Matthew could leave her daughter high and dry with two kids if he falls out of love with her,” a source divulged.

“She’s been telling Cam that she needs to force Matthew into a financial agreement, but when Cam brought it up, Matthew exploded. He said, ‘I’ll always take care of our babies – and you!’”

Brazilian-born Camila, 26, has basically shelved her modeling career since moving in with the movie hunk in 2007. Their son Levi is 18 months old, and she gave birth to daughter Vida on Jan. 3.

And after Matthew shut her down, Cam went crying to her mother, said the source.

“Now Multo is pressuring Cam to get Matthew to commit to a legal agreement,” the source revealed. “She said, ‘He wanted you to carry his babies – he ought to take real responsibility.’”

But the idea of signing a contract with Camila isn’t sitting well with Matthew, said the source, although the actor’s publicist denies the couple is having a disagreement.

The source revealed: “It’s caused a rift between them, and Matthew’s kind of scratching his head over it. He told me, ‘It seems kind of cold, doesn’t it?’

[From The National Enquirer]

I agree with Camila’s mother. If McConaughey can have babies with Camila he ought to give her some security for the future beyond just his word. You have to remember that before he got serious with Camila he was a multi-millionaire actor living in an Airstream trailer by the beach, though. McConaughey isn’t the type to get tied down and he might feel like he’s made plenty of concessions by moving into a house and settling down and having kids. Maybe it’s best if Camila doesn’t push him for now.

Camila has her own career to fall back on at least. She was a model when she met McConaughey and has her own handmade purse line. Kaiser just reminded me that Alves is due to host Shear Genius, the hair styling competition show on Bravo, starting this season. She is replacing Jaclyn Smith, with new episodes that begin airing on February 3.

Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves welcome daughter Vida

wenn2431170
Matthew McConaughey and his girlfriend Camila Alves welcomed their second child on Sunday, a daughter they named Vida. Little Vida joins her older brother Levi, 17 months. It seems like Camila has been pregnant for a long time but that’s probably because McConaughey made the announcement on his website in June, when she was only a couple of months along. Yesterday he announced his new daughter’s birth on his website and explained that Vida is Portugese for “life.” Alves hails from Brazil.

It’s a girl for Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves!

Daughter Vida Alves McConaughey arrived Sunday, Jan. 3 at 12:13 a.m., Matthew announced on his Web site. She weighed in at 7 lbs., 7 oz and joins big brother Levi, 17 months.

” ‘Vida’ is Portuguese for ‘life’ and that’s what God gave us this morning,” the actor blogged. “Camila’s recovering wonderfully and we are both truly honored to welcome this little lady into our family. Thanks for all of your well wishes and prayers along the way, another blessed day, we give thanks.”

McConaughey, 40, and Alves, 26, announced the pregnancy in June, blogging, “We pulled off the greatest miracle in the world one more time. Camila and I are expecting our second child, bringing more life into the world, making more to live for. The future looks bright as the family grows.”

The couple, who began dating in 2006, chose not to find out the sex of the baby prior to delivery, just as they did with Levi. McConaughey encouraged fans to guess, however.

[From People]

I will never forget Matthew McConaughey’s description of Levi’s birth. It was one of the best celebrity interviews I’ve ever read and after that I became a true fan. He didn’t mince words when it came to describing the birth scene and explained that “having a baby is a bloody, pukey, sweaty, primeval thing.” As for his delight in learning the sex of his first child he said “I saw the pecker and screamed that we’d been right all along about him being a boy.” In a later interview, McConaughey admitted that he’d saved the placenta from Levi’s birth to plant in his yard as per Australian aboriginal tradition. I can’t wait to hear what McConaughey has to say about the birth of his daughter. The guy has such a colorful way with words and you can tell that he really loves life. Congratulations to Matthew, Camila and Levi on the new addition to their family!

Matthew McConaughey exercises with students in his after school program

CNN has this video of Matthew McConaughey working out with high school students in his “J.K. Livin’” after school program at Venice High School in Venice, CA. This video out last week, but it’s new to me and I was so impressed with McConaughey that I wanted to cover it. I love talking about this guy because he’s such a character.

McConaughey visited the school with his pregnant girlfriend Camilla Alves, and explained that he founded the charity four years ago with her. He told the students that the J.K in his charity stands for “Just Keep,” and that the figure of the man in the logo is an illustration the last photo ever taken of his father ten days before he passed. He founded J.K. Livin to help feel a connection to his dad by giving back.

The J.K. Livin foundation is geared toward helping students live a healthy lifestyle through exercise and diet, and McConaughey explained “We’re not talking about making everyone into cover models… it’s about physically making you feel better, giving you more energy [and] teamwork.”

McConaughey is shown skipping rope with the students, doing jumping jacks and running up and down bleachers. I know I didn’t enjoy working out in high school because gym always landed in the middle of the day and left me all sweaty and with messed up hair. (Yes, I’ve always been vain like that. I did play sports though.) If Matthew McConaughey stopped by once in a while after school I would have loved it, though. Good for him for sharing his love of fitness with kids! You can learn more about the J.K. Livin Foundation and give back on their website.

Moms to Matthew McConaughey & Camila Alves: get married already!

fp_2137608_mcconaughey_alve
The mothers of Matthew McConaughey and baby-mama Camila Alves are not happy. Now that the lovely couple are expecting a second child, both Mama McConaughey and Mama Alves are hellbent on seeing their kids make it official. For the Alves family, the problem seems to be religion – they are devout Catholics. True, they are nice, understanding Catholics, and they were fine with baby Levi being born without an official wedding. I guess their reasoning was “Hey, these things happen, everything will work out.” But with Camila’s second pregnancy, her family is all “Hey, seriously, you’re a nice Catholic girl and you’re giving the milk away for free. Make him buy the cow, for goodness sake.” Unfortunately, it seems both Camila and Matthew are quite happy with their unmarried status:

Now that his longtime girlfriend Camila Alves is expecting baby No. 2, Matthew McConaughey is under serious pressure to tie the knot with the Brazilian beauty – from his and Camila’s moms!

After the couple announced the good news to their families, both grandmothers asked when they were going to get married, a friend told The Enquirer.

“Both moms were thrilled, but they wondered about wedding plans. They hoped that after little Levi was born last July that there’d be a wedding,” revealed the friend. “But so far, their wish has not come true.”

“Camila’s parents live in Brazil – and come from a culture where respectable people get married and THEN have babies,” the friend explained.

“They raised Camila in the Catholic faith, and they worked hard to send her to a Catholic university. They don’t understand why she and Matthew don’t want to get married.”

Matt’s mom is siding with the Alves family and says that if Matthew really loves Camila, he should WANT to make her his wife, says the friend.

But Camila believes “a piece of paper isn’t going to make their relationship any stronger than it already is.”

The two have already exchanged “private vows of commitment” on a beach near their home, according to the friend, and for now, that’s enough for them.

[From The National Enquirer, print edition, July 13, 2009]

I think it’s cool that Camila is all “whatever” about making it official. I really think that Camila puts up with a lot in that relationship, but she seems to take it all in stride. Whether it’s living in a trailer, eating whatever crazy thing Matthew has concocted in the laboratory, or not getting married, Camila seems just as chilled out as Matthew. The most likely dynamic (in my opinion) is that Matthew doesn’t really have any strong feelings about getting married, either way. If Camila felt strongly about having a wedding, I’m sure Matthew would be up for it. Perhaps they really were meant for each other.

Matthew McConaughey & Camila Alves are expecting a second baby

fp_3147208_rij_afi2009_061109
Matthew McConaughey announced on his website Sunday night (Father’s Day) that he and girlfriend Camila Alves are expecting their second baby. Their first baby, son Levi, is only 11 months old. I would suspect that Camila and Matthew decided to announce now because she is nearing the end of her first trimester, the traditional time to announce. Which means Camila is probably due January-ish. Perhaps Camila and Gisele Bundchen have the same due date. There must be something in the water:

Father’s Day was twice as sweet for Matthew McConaughey: Not only did he get to celebrate his first Father’s Day with 11-month old Levi, his son with girlfriend Camila Alves, but the couple is expecting a second baby, he revealed on his Web site Sunday night.

“Happy Father’s Day. It’s my first, and the last 11 months with Levi and Camila have been the most rewarding adventure to date,” McConaughey writes. “We have more blessed news to celebrate this Father’s Day that [will] make this time next year double the fun. Levi is going to be a big brother… Yeah, we pulled off the greatest miracle in the world one more time, Camila and I are expecting our second child, bringing more life into the world, making more to live for. The future looks bright as the family grows…. just keep livin, Matthew and Camila.”

For McConaughey, 39, fatherhood “is a wild, wonderful adventure,” he told People in May. “It’s a great new chapter in life, for sure.”

Make that chapter two.

[From People]

Congratulations to Matthew and Camila – they seem like great, involved hippie parents to Levi and they’re most likely absolutely thrilled with a second baby on the way. As I see more of Matthew as a dad, I like him more. I had always been kind of “meh” about his personality and acting career, but he seems much more centered and cool now that he’s a father. Judging from the epically cute paparazzi photos of Matthew and Levi, I think they’re two peas in a hippie pod. Still, I’m sort of hoping this second baby is a little girl. I think being a dad to a little girl would improve Matthew even more. Suddenly there would be no more trailers and bongo-playing and his life would be about barrettes and glitter. It would be good for Matthew. And Camila probably wants a girl too!

Girlfriends Past premiere w/ Jennifer Garner & Matthew McConaughey

5ghosts_of_girlfriends_past
Mom of two Jennifer Garner made her first public appearance since the January birth of her second daughter, Seraphina, at the premiere of her new romantic comedy, Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, co-starring Matthew McConaughey. She looks great and videos of the night show her being very friendly with fans as usual. The film is a modern take on A Christmas Carol, with a playboy bachelor re-living his promiscuous past and visiting the future to see what he missed by letting his childhood sweetheart get away. It probably won’t get glowing reviews, but the trailer makes it look like a fun mindless comedy and I would definitely go see it. In interviews Garner and McConaughey seem to have a kind of effortless camaraderie that looks like it translates well to the screen. There’s something fun and appealing about the two of them together.

The pair have had plenty of romps with romantic comedy, though few have caused them to reflect seriously on their past loves. There’s no escaping romantic history, however, with the Dickens-inspired Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, opening Friday. McConaughey stars as a heartless Casanova-type who gets his comeuppance when he is visited by spectral visions of his many flings. Garner is the long-ago love of his life, who may be about to find another soul mate…

McConaughey mentions a scene in which Garner’s character wakes up alone after spending the night with him. “He gets to go back and see what happened after she woke up. I’d be willing to say I’ve been there. I saw that and know I felt a little bit of that. I’ve had to end good relationships, and I know how we talked about them, and tried to be nice and everything, but I think … maybe that bruised a little bit more on the other side than I noticed, or than it did me.”

He leans in on his elbow and says, in a confidential tone: “Because when you flip it over, I know there were times when I was the dumpee or whatever, and I was like, ‘No way am I showing her how much this is hurtin’.’ ”

McConaughey’s cowboyish self-assurance fades as he considers the ramifications of being an invisible eyewitness to some of his own breakups: “There’s that old saying about three truths: what I say, what you say and what really happened. You never know how the other person really took it. You get behind the closed door, and you can see how your actions affected someone.”

During filming, the pair often talked about whether they would, if it were possible, go backward or forward in time to re-examine old or future relationships.

“Jennifer said, ‘Yeah, I would go forward, but not if I’m going to see a disaster that I can’t effect [sic] now,’ ” McConaughey says.

“Just to see it?” she adds, shaking her head. “No, I don’t want to see it.”

“The more interesting question is about going back,” he says. “Ghosts from your past or whatever …”

McConaughey goes back — way back — to some of his first experiences with romantic relationships.

“Those first times, though, I knew how to handle it,” McConaughey boasts with a grin. “We went to see a movie once, and slowly this right hand started moving.” Sitting beside Garner, he begins an infinitesimally slow drape across her shoulders. “It took me the entire movie to get there, and then the credits rolled. I was so concentrated on just getting there, I didn’t see one frame of the movie.”

“How far down did you get? Inside bra?” Garner says, calling him out on his vagueness.

“Yep,” he says, nodding. “And then the credits rolled.”

Garner laughs and says, “She probably spent the whole time thinking, ‘Am I going to brush that hand off? Am I going to move?’ She probably had to pee, but was like, ‘Well, no, because then he’d have to start from scratch.’ ”

“Girls just play defense,” Garner offers. “Guys are the chaser and pursuer.” Neither role is easier, she adds.

“I think it’s different now than it was when we were going through this,” she says. “It’s more equal. But when we were kids, you didn’t just call a guy. At least not a nice girl.”

“No, you didn’t call,” McConaughey agrees, like someone who remembers it well.

“There was no texting or IMing or anything. Your friends could go ask his friends if he was interested, but that was all,” she says. “You’d send your secretary of state out.”

“But the funnest and the hardest moments,” McConaughey says, “was the one where you go up and say, ‘Will you go with me?’ Just say those words, and then she says, ‘Yes.’ And I’d be like … ‘Great! Now what comes next?’ “

[From USA Today]

I kind of agree with Garner in that there’s nothing I’d like to see in the future if I can’t change it. There’s a little bit I’d like to visit from the past, but all of that is ancient history. McConaughey gets philosophical at the end of the interview and gives one of his common-sense but worthwhile quotes that reminds me why I’m such a fan. “I wouldn’t change any of the past – the victories, the glories or the pain. Cause they helped me get to where I am today.”

Here’s a pretty funny interview for Ghosts of Girlfriends Past with a journalist from National Lampoon who takes off his shirt to somehow better relate to often-shirtless McConaughey. Garner tries to get the guy to take off his pants too:

And here’s the trailer for Ghosts of Girlfriends Past. It’s out on this Friday, May 1.

Matthew McConaughey says son Levi pees on him & laughs

infphoto_939969

People Magazine did a funny interview with Matthew McConaughey to promote his latest film, Ghosts of Girlfriends Past. He didn’t really break any news, although he tells several funny stories. Like how his son Levi pees on him and laughs. The apple didn’t fall far, did it? Matthew also describes his co-star Jennifer Garner as “very sly and cunning and witty”, words that I would never think to use for Garner.

He also tells the story of the origin of “Just Keep Livin’”, his famous quote from Dazed and Confused. I’d actually heard him talk about that story before – he came up with it because his father passed away right before filming. Reading Matthew discuss it again makes me think that he’s feeling the pain of his father’s death all over again now that Matthew is a father. He comes across as really sweet:

What was it like working with Jennifer Garner in Ghosts of Girlfriends Past?
McConaughey:
I had a ball with Jennifer. She’s very elegant, yet sort of a classic woman, actress. She does her own thing, and she also doesn’t bring a lot of hoity-toity false drama to the process. But she’s also very sly and cunning and witty. She’s with it and she’s fun to work with. You might think you’re pulling one over on her, and she’ll flip it right around. She’s very keen and coy.

Did you ever get your heart broken? How did you get over it?
McConaughey:
Oh yeah, I had my heart broken several times, especially growing up. It starts off with having a good mom who comes in, sees you’re heartbroken, lets you sit there for a while and then the next morning it was like, “Let’s get on with it! You’re going to get back out there.” She’d always tell us, “It was their loss.” It made us feel better. It got us back out the door. We were never allowed to stay around and sulk about anything.

Was your j.k. livin foundation really inspired by Dazed and Confused?
McConaughey:
j.k. livin was inspired by the passing of my father. A week into shooting Dazed and Confused, my father moved on. So I was dealing with the loss of him and how do you maintain a relationship with somebody who is no longer physically around on the earth, right? So, I was dealing with how do I maintain that relationship, how do I keep him alive in my mind and in my spirit and that’s where “just keep livin” came from. So in the film there was a scene where I actually said it. That sort of got quoted and laid down into immortal words in a film but it came from what I was dealing with and how I was approaching my father’s death.

What is your funniest memory of an experience you had with your father?
McConaughey:
Dad was very funny. This won’t sound funny, but I’m gonna tell it anyway. There was a time when I was 19, it was after work and I was home for the summer and there was a little bar down the street we went into. And there is a guy at the door and some locals and they’re all getting pretty sauced and getting real lippy and as we were leaving I remember the guy at the door going, “Whoa, whoa, hey, did you pay your bill?” My dad goes, “Yeah, son” and removed his hand [from my father's shoulder]. We did pay the bill. And all of sudden two other guys come, and they come running at Pop and this one guy – as soon as he started lifting his arm – I just decked him and took [him] down over this table. I handled it pretty quick. One punch and down! Then dad comes over and lifts me off the table and he’s just laughing. We were hootin’ and hollering and laughing! It was like me and Pop in our first fight!

Do you help change nappies? And has [your son Levi] peed on you yet?
McConaughey:
Yes! And yes! More than a few times to both. And he gets the joke when he pees on me. He laughs. He laughs his butt off! I think I am [good at changing diapers]. I could have a race-off with some other dads out there.

How has Levi changed you? And what is the best thing about being a parent?
McConaughey:
The coolest thing I’ve learned from Levi is kids really remind you of [your] sense of humor. Like I was just saying, they pee on you and they’re just laughing and all of sudden you’re reminded of having a sense of humor about everything. You can watch Levi, and everything he sees is for the first time, so you see the wonder in something we see every day. You see the wonder of picking up a coffee cup and hitting on the plate and it makes a sound and all of sudden for 15 minutes the kid is just entertained with this little thing. So it’s reminded me to see things for the first time, not in a naïve way, but in an innocent way. It’s a ball!

What are some of the things you want to share with Levi that your parents and grandparents instilled in you? McConaughey: First of all, work ethic … Then respect of elders, particularly respect of women, which I was very much instilled [with]. We believe in “yes, sirs, no sirs” and “yes, ma’ams,” and “no ma’ams.”

What’s your favorite thing about being a Texan?
McConaughey:
We’ve got an honor when you come out of Texas. And when you leave Texas and come back to it – if you’re from Texas – there’s a certain a way you carry yourself, with an honor and a certain pride and certain independence.

[From People Magazine]

There are several gossip stories out there about how “settled” he and Camila Alves are right now. When they made a rare red carpet appearance, the launch of the new Malibu Lumber Yard, all they could talk about was their son Levi. After that, they sat quietly in a corner, then cut out early to go home. As much as I like to get a few jabs in at Matthew for the eccentric, bongo-playing stoner dude he sometimes manifests, he seems like a really decent guy who is rapidly maturing with fatherhood.

Matthew McConaughey admits his early confusion over female anatomy

fp_2094458_mcconaughey_matthew_sam_041309

Matthew McConaughey is a great example of why some celebrities are generally liked while others are generally loathed. Matthew is often making fun of himself, letting you know he doesn’t think he’s perfect, telling jokes, and has an easy way about him. And that translates and makes him likeable.

Case in point: Matthew admitted to Elle magazine that he got most of his early ideas about female anatomy from Playboy – back in the eighties, when the magazine featured a more “natural” approach to southern female grooming habits. And that led to a bit of confusion on his end.

Matthew McConaughey might be the epitome of rugged masculinity, winning his leading ladies’ hearts in romantic comedy after romantic comedy, but even this hunky Texan wasn’t always the wisest guy in the bedroom.

“From checking out Playboy I always thought — jeezum, we still don’t have a better word for it than vagina, do we? —I thought it was behind the pubic hair, and it faced horizontal. You know, east/west, not south,” he admits to Elle. “So the first time I got to third base, man, I was hunting for a long time.”

[From OK! Magazine]

As OK! points out, Matthew obviously eventually got the hang of it, since he’s now a dad. But his story makes complete sense to me. When I was a kid, my mom let me watch “Days of Our Lives” with her every day. And every day, she’d say the exact same thing: “I really shouldn’t let you watch this.” As a result, I grew up with some fairly dramatic ideas of what relationships were like: I thought it was completely commonplace for men to wear eye patches, women to slap each other over relatively slight disagreements, and a great deal of human interactions took place in excessively bubbly hot tubs.

But my best misconception was about French kissing. Whenever two characters would start to kiss, their heads would begin tilting and the camera would cut away. This was the eighties mind you; they probably zoom in for a close-up now. Anyway, I naturally thought that if the cameras were to stay right where they were, we’d see that the couple’s heads just kept tilting until eventually they went all the way around. I think I even imagined their legs left the ground; the laws of physics definitely did not apply.

Unlike Matthew I’d luckily figured out the error in my logic before I actually got to that stage in my life, but I empathize with him nonetheless. It’s an excellent reason why children should not rely on Playboy and soap operas to learn about kissing and sex.

Here’s Matthew shopping for glasses in Malibu on Monday. Yep, the paparazzi are getting desperate. Images thanks to Fame Pictures .

Camila Alves replaces Jaclyn Smith on ‘Shear Genius’

fp_2091058_spielberg_mcconaughey_coq_041209

Matthew McConaughey’s baby mama seems like a nice enough girl, but what exactly are her qualifications for anything other than “model”? Bravo seems to think Camila Alves has something, though. They’ve just hired Camila to be the new host of Shear Genius, the reality show/contest to pick the next great hair stylist. Shear Genius is preparing for its third season, and they’ve just kicked out Jaclyn Smith. Camila’s pretty, but she’s no Jaclyn Smith. My mom’s going to be so upset Jaclyn got the ax.

Get your scissors sharpened and brush up on your layering techniques, Shear Genius fans, Season 3 is on its way with new host Camila Alves.

The Bravo show, which pits wannabe hair stylists against each other in the salon for a $100,000 prize, was hosted by Jaclyn Smith in the past.

Camila will take on her new hosting duties in the upcoming season, and will be assisted by judges Kim Vo and reality show veteran Jonathan Antin. Jonathan starred on his own show, Blow Out, which revolved around daily life in his salons in L.A. He’s also the brother of Pussycat Dolls’ founder Robin Antin.

Maybe Levi’s daddy Matthew McConaughey will stop by with that mane of golden curls for a touch-up! Tune in this season to find out!

[From OK! Magazine]

That would be funny if Matthew McConaughey guest starred on Shear Genius. He probably wouldn’t let the contestants get anywhere near his hair though – if he comes on, it will be a guest judge, that’s my guess.

So, back to the original question: What are Camila’s qualifications? Or does her resume just read “Matthew McConaughey’s baby mama”? Jaclyn Smith was and is a goddess – more than a pretty face, she’s a smart businesswoman who knows a lot about Hollywood, fashion and styling. I’ll miss her.

Here are Camila and Matthew with adorable baby Levi at Ron Meyer’s annual Easter celebration in Malibu on Sunday. Images thanks to Fame Pictures .
