Jennifer Aniston might have moved on from Vince Vaughn to Matthew Perry

I don’t believe this is true for one minute, but there’s a rumor that Matthew Perry and Jennifer Aniston are now an item, and that Aniston recently broke up with Vaughn when he didn’t want to talk about where their relationship was going. Maybe Aniston and Perry hung out together once, but it sounds like Life and Style is making up quotes from a “friend”:

It’s not looking good for Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn. They have not been photographed together in some time and many gossips are suspecting that they may have split. Prolonged separation seems to be at fault, as Vaughn has been filming a movie in London over the last few weeks.

A friend of Aniston’s told Life & Style Weekly, “Jen and Vince had been fighting over the phone since he started traveling. She said it was making both of them miserable.” The pal claims that the tension between Jen and Vince only increased when the actress tried to have a conversation about their relationship. “Vince acted distracted and closed off and refused to discuss their future,” says the source.

The magazine claims that Aniston ended things when she met up with a less-than-enthused Vaughn in London. The insider reveals, “Jen says she knew things wouldn’t work out between them. They’ve tried taking breaks before, so this time she went one step further – and ended it!…their fighting was torture, and she’d had enough.”

Spies for OK! magazine claim, however, that though it’s chilly between Jen and Vince, they are still a couple. And Jen has supposedly developed a plan to make Vince jealous – she’s been meeting up with her former “Friends” co-star Matthew Perry. OK! reports that Aniston and Perry have recently met up several times to go to a restaurant, walk on the beach or get ice cream. One source for the magazine says, “I definitely think [Jennifer] is trying to make [Vince] jealous by spending time with Matt. She has been very impatient with Vince not being able to make a real long-term commitment to her.”

If Matthew Perry and Jennifer Aniston were seen walking on the beach with their arms around each other where are the pictures? Usually these quotes are made up based on pictures and whatever the writer of the article wants to believe about a celebrity relationship. It doesn’t seem true to me at all, but it would be really juicy and surprising news. It seems like Matthew Perry has more sense than to get involved with Aniston, though. (Go ahead and bash, Team Aniston, I enjoy the debate.)

Here are some pictures of Vince Vaughn at London’s Heathrow airport. [via] He’s such a catch, some other woman will be lucky to have him.

“Friends” reunion is coming – really!

The NY Post’s Cindy Adams reports that a long-rumored “Friends” reunion is now in the works, and that holdout Jennifer Aniston finally agreed to it:

JENNIFER Aniston, and whatever reason changed her mind, who knows, finally OK’d a “Friends” reunion. The primary holdout, she, now, for whatever reason, who knows, has agreed to it. Everyone’s thrilled. It’s big bucks for the whole bunch. Jennifer always loved the show’s Thanksgiving episodes – for whatever reason, who knows – so she’s encouraging the script to be something Thanksgiving-y, or at least to center around that holiday. Please, no remarks about a turkey.

A while ago it was rumored that Lisa Kudrow said that “one of the guys” was holding up the reunion after Kathleen Turner let it slip that she was approached to reprise her role as Chandler’s mom, but then Kudrow denied that a reunion was in the works.

Now that Cindy Adams has reported it, it’s probably true, and I can’t wait! I love that show, although it’s hard to watch now that I have such a poor opinion of Aniston. She must have realized how much she owes to “Friends” and maybe she’ll be grateful to the show for making her famous.

Arquette family is honored by the American Family Institute

The American Family Institute honored the famous Arquette family yesterday. Family attending included Courtney Cox-Arquette, David Arquette, Patricia Arquette, Rosanna Arquette, and Alexis Arquette. Friends at the even included Jennifer Aniston, Matthew Perry, Roseanne Barr, Paul Reubens, Laura Dern, Florence Henderson, and Mickey Rooney.

LOS ANGELES, May 10 (UPI) — The American Film Institute Wednesday honored Hollywood’s Arquette family with its AFI Associates Platinum Circle Award at a star-studded gala in Los Angeles…

The AFI Associates Platinum Circle Award is awarded each year to recognize a family’s creative contributions to the entertainment community.

Past honorees include the Penns, the Fondas and the Reynolds/Fisher family.

Alexis Arquette is a transvestite with the full support of her family. It is rumored that Courtney Cox was against a planned reality show featuring her cross-dressing brother-in-law’s planned gender reassignment surgery. She refused to appear in the series, and Alexis has decided not to film the show:

Courteney Cox has been spared public embarrassment after plans for a reality TV show concentrating on sex change operations were dropped.

Cox’s brother in law, Alexis Arquette, had signed a deal to have his gender reassignment operation filmed a US documentary entitled Alexis Are-Cut.

But reports suggest that Alexis changed his mind, and was unwilling to allow the cameras into the operation or to document the recovery process.

Alexis’ eldest sister, Rosanna, 46, said: “It’s private. We all support him and wouldn’t want him to be involved in any sort of circus act surrounding his decision.”

It sounds like Rosanna didn’t want the show to go forward, either.

Here are pictures from the event yesterday.

Paris Hilton, Michael Vartan, and Matthew Perry at the XBox 360 party

Celebrities were in attendance at the XBox 360 E3 party in Hollywood yesterday. The folks at Endgadget were also there, and reported about the new peripherals for the XBox, including an add-on HD DVD drive, to be released this Christmas season. They snapped some covert pictures of the new drive, and are not sure how good it will be

Microsoft threw a little pool-side party today in downtown Hollywood after their press event let out. We were naturally in attendance, and took a chance to fool around a bit with the Xbox 360′s new peripherals — well, the ones they let us touch, anyway. We were a little surprised they held out on us with the 360 HDMI cable we’ve all been waiting for, but in the same vein of high definition the first thing we wanted to see was their big add-on of choice for 2006: the 360 HD DVD drive…

Steel yourself for a shock, but the HD DVD drive was actually looking like it was just going to be a regular 5.25-inch HD DVD drive slapped in a 360-styled external enclosure. Now that you’ve collected yourself after that bit of hysteria, we can tell you the (non-functional) drive itself had only a power plug (which looked to be of the variety that runs to the wall, no adapter required), a mini USB host port for connecting to the 360, two full USB ports for the device to otherwise act as a USB hub, and a spot for your 360 WiFi adapter to latch on the back since it could possibly be displaced by the use of the rear USB port to get this thing running on the console.

Will you be able to buy their drive at a huge loss? If MS releases with a $200 or less MSRP to make the core pack compete with Sony’s lowest-end PlayStation 3, you could. But will you be able to plug it into a computer and have a functioning HD DVD drive (either via USB or by tearing it down)? Will Microsoft introduce an integrated HD DVD drive into future “premium” 360 consoles? There are just way too many questions to be answered with this one people, but what we do know is that in one form or another this thing exists, and we can’t wait to get our hands on the real deal.

Here are Paris Hilton, Michael Vartan, rageaholic Bijou Philips, Danny Masterson, Matthew Perry, Caroline D’Amore and Taryn Manning sampling the goods. Of all the games available, Taryn Manning chose to play PacMan. Matthew Perry also seemed confused by the Jenny Holzer-type screensaver text art.

Matthew Perry doing Kristin Davis

Are Matthew Perry and Kristin Davis together? It was just a few days ago that we heard that he was with Coyote Ugly star Piper Perabo, so if this is true he must be a busy man:

TV stars MATTHEW PERRY and KRISTIN DAVIS are Hollywood’s new ‘it’ couple, according to new reports. The couple were spotted kissing while dining at Los Angeles restaurant La Dolce Vita recently, where they shared a ice-cream and looked like a couple in love. A fellow diner tells US magazine Life + Style, “He kept his arm around her the entire time and kissed her forehead at one point.” Meanwhile, a friend of SEX AND THE CITY star Davis’ says, “She’s really fallen for Matthew.” The two singles have a string of romance stories to their credits – Perry is often romantically linked to tennis player pal JENNIFER CAPRIATI and has recently been connected to actress PIPER PERABO, while Davis swore tales of her dating STEVE MARTIN and Brit DAMIAN LEWIS were untrue.

(Davis was tied to Steve Martin after pictures of what looked like Davis frolicking on the beach with Martin came out. It turns out the brunette in the pictures was Anne Stringfield, a writer for the New Yorker who bears a strong resemblance to Davis.)

It would be great to see some pictures of these two together – they would make quite a cute couple.

Perry will be starring in a new series with Amanda Peet on NBC this Fall, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip.

Carmen Electra and the Hiltons at Fashion Week

Carmen Electra and the Hilton sisters were photographed at Mercedes Benz L.A. Fashion Week in Culver City, CA yesterday. Matthew Perry also made an appearance sporting a cute spiky hairdo and glasses.

As we reported two days ago, Electra and Navarro are denying reports that their marriage is in trouble because they’re spending time apart:

Electra’s rep tells me, “They are fine, fine, fine. This started somewhere and it’s just gotten out of control.” Whispers of problems apparently began in recent weeks because Electra and Navarro haven’t been seen together as much they used to be.

Looks like Navarro was too busy this time to sit through a fashion show for the sake of his marriage. We can’t blame him.

Matthew Perry works it

Matthew Perry showed up at the 2BFree after party in LA last night looking thin and cute.

Perry will be starring on a new series by West Wing creators on NBC this Fall, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. The series will also star Amanda Peet:

Aaron Sorkin and Tommy Schlamme (“The West Wing”) have another for NBC with “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip,” a drama that delves behind the scenes of a fictional late-night comedy sketch show.

The show boasts a high-profile cast, which appeared on stage to greet advertisers: Matthew Perry, Bradley Whitford, Amanda Peet, Timothy Busfield, D.L. Hughley, Sarah Paulson and Steven Weber.

Not even one minute of “Studio 60″ has been filmed yet, but NBC gave advertisers rough pilots of “The Black Donnellys” and “Kidnapped” to take home.

It looks like his time at the gym has paid off and we hope Perry’s new show is a success.
