Mischa Barton’s scraggy on-again boyfriend, Whitestarr frontman Cisco Adler, popped into a West Hollywood medical marijuana facility to pick up his medication for getting through the day while Mischa waited patiently in the car. About ten minutes after he left, agents from the DEA raided the place, since people smoking pot for their ailments are such a threat to society:

Cisco Adler and Mischa Barton came within minutes of being part of a search and seizure warrant being executed on a medical marijuana distribution center on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood on January 17. Adler’s visit to the center that day was no different than any number of times he visited it. As usual, Cisco, 28, parked his Mercedes on the busy street with girlfriend Mischa, 20, waiting patiently in the passenger seat. Cisco was buzzed in, and after less than five minutes he appeared with a small white bag, and the two drove off.

As they left, the former OC star and her rocker beau failed to notice that two nearby side streets were lined with police cars, and Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) officers wearing bullet proof vests who were preparing to raid the small store front.

Just fifteen minutes after Cisco and Mischa drove off, the agents stormed in and sifted through documents, copied hard drives, and carted away pounds of marijuana and other paraphanalia.

Medical marijuana is legal in California, but is still outlawed by the federal government, which is practically owned by the drug companies. Apparently government agencies have nothing better to do than make it harder for cancer victims, glaucoma patients and bored rock stars to get some natural relief.

Mischa recently said that she wasn’t surprised that The O.C. got cancelled because her character was killed off. She then suggested that people were watching the show just for her.

Mischa Barton was photographed breaking down in her car after she injured her wrist by shutting it in a car door a short while ago. Her publicist said she had “re-injured” it, but the bandage was on her other wrist a few weeks ago, so that’s a bogus excuse. Janet Charlton reports that she’s so distraught over her lackluster career and bad relationship with Cisco Adler that she’s threatened to kill herself – and her dog too!

“Mischa is miserable since she left the O.C. She feels like her life is over and everything is going downhill.” revealed an insider. “She feels lost since she left the show and started pestering her boyfriend Cisco Adler for a commitment. She threatened to leave if he didn’t give her a ring. He wasn’t ready to get engaged so he stalled by buying her a “promise” ring. That satisfied her for a few weeks, but she started acting crazy and hyper-emotional. “She acts like she has nothing to live for.” Cisco couldn’t take the drama and told her “We’re better off apart.” He told friends “She’s too crazy for me.” That really set her off – she threatened to commit suicide and even threatened to kill their dog! She was seen sobbing in her car with wrist bandages. Whether she actually cut herself isn’t known. “Cisco feels bad so he’s pretending to work things out with her so he can let her down easy. He’s hoping she’ll come to her senses and won’t do anything violent or vindictive. But he wants out.

When a gossip source quotes an insider I always suspect that they’re making shit up, so I don’t know if I believe this. Cisco did give Misca a promise ring, so Charlton is working with that news and may or may not have a source for this information. It sounds way too dramatic for Mischa, who always came off as thoughtful and smart to me in interviews, albeit a bit flighty.

You may have already seen these pictures of Mischa Barton wearing a sack-like shirt as a dress with her butt hanging out, but these are the higher res versions and they’re rather amusing. The self-proclaimed lover of hippy fashion also loves hippies and can’t seem to part with Whitestarr singer Cisco Adler. Somehow that seems to explain her poor fashion choices.

She must realize that this dress doesn’t cover her ass and she’s hanging her head like she’s ashamed of it. Hopefully she got this thing comped by some haughty designer and didn’t pay good money for it like Lohan is said to do for her garbage bag aparrel. The little 3/4 length hanging sleeve coat and purple velvet headband really add something to the outfit.

Maybe it’s the dark eye makeup coupled with the nude lips, but Mischa Barton’s hair looks like a wig to me. It doesn’t seem suited to her at all. She sported streaky blonde wavy hair with bangs at the Bebe fashion show yesterday.

People reports that Mischa Barton was seen out holding hands with a new guy in London recently, which may signify the end of her stormy relationshiop with Whitestarr frontman and all-around suspicious character Cisco Adler.

Mischa has hooked up with Rugby star Mark Robinson, also known as “Sharky” of the Northampton Saints. Robinson is from New Zealand so he’s got to have the sexiest accent:

As Mischa matures, so does her taste in men. Cisco seems like a decent guy, considering how he spoke candidly in her defense when Paris talked trash about her, but he doesn’t seem like he’s in Mischa’s league.

There’s also a report that Mischa snubbed British comic Russell Brand, who was briefly linked with Kate Moss. Brand tried to hit on Barton at a London club recently, but she wasn’t having it.

Barton won’t have much time to spend with her new sportsman this week. She flew into Australia on Sunday to help promote designer David Jones’ summer collection.

Update: I’m not sure Mischa is shown with Mark Robinson, because the guy she’s holding hands with doesn’t look exactly like the pictures I’ve seen of the rugby player. She hooked up with Robinson according to sources, but whether that’s the same guy in the photo with her is up to debate.

Mischa Barton is reportedly in talks to join the cast of the once-good “Desperate Housewives.” She’s young, intelligent and naturally gorgeous. That’s gotta piss off most of the cast:

If Barton joined, she could add a breath of fresh air to the failing series, and some much needed competition to the older women on the cast. There are no cute 20-somethings on the show, and it would be a good idea to court Barton to sign on.

Mischa Barton’s limo was too big to maneuver around some tight curves in London, so the the driver had the former “O.C.” star get out and walk a little bit to get to the UK premiere of “Pirates of the Caribbean 3.” She was accompanied by British talk show hosts Alan Carr and Justin Lee Collins of Channel 4′s “Friday Night Project.”

Collins said he loved Barton’s foul mouth and had a great time with the 20 year-old actress:

Britain’s Mirror also reports that Barton said she didn’t “give a s*** where Paris is” when someone told her that she just missed Paris Hilton’s visit to the UK. That’s not surprising since the two have fought in the press before.

Whitestarr frontman Cisco insists everything between him and Barton is fine, and that stories of their breakup are not true. He says Mischa is busy working and that’s why they weren’t photographed together in a while.

Nicole Richie’s dad has supposedly promised her a luxury Caribbean cruise with friends if she gains weight. Lionel Richie so worried about his daughter’s health that he thought up the vacation as an incentive. Given all of luxuries Nicole enjoys on a daily basis, this doesn’t seem like it will be an effective strategy. It’s kind of Richie to be concerned about his daughter, though.

Mischa Barton’s character on The O.C., Marissa, died last night in the season finale in a tragic car crash while her on-screen boyfriend, Ryan, was driving. This came as a surprise to almost no one. Marissa’s death was rumored for a while, although it was originally said that she would die of a drug overdose. Barton spilled the beans to Access Hollywood before the finale that her character would die:

That’s so sad for Marissa and Ryan and I would have been crying if I lived in the states and could have watched it.

Mischa Barton’s character on The O.C., Marissa Cooper, may die of a drug overdose. Barton has several films coming up and is said to be tired of her ongoing role on the series:

Marissa had a near-brush with death when she took a handful of prescription drugs while in Mexico in season one of The O.C. Ryan found her passed out, heroically saving her just in time. It will be a sad end to her character, and that’s too bad that she’s not waiting out the end of the series.

O.C. creator Josh Schwartz says the show will go on for one more year, and that there will be a major plot climax at the end of this season. It sounds like he might be talking about Marissa’s death.
