Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban were rumored to be having relationship trouble, as reported by The National Enquirer at the beginning of the month. We mentioned that it didn’t seem true to us.

Kidman and Urban seem to be doing well, becaue they made a rare public appearance together on Saturday at a United Nations Development Fund for Women event. Nicole Kidman serves as a goodwill ambassador and hosted the event, a 30th anniversary celebration for the organization:

UNIFEM aims to “foster women’s empowerment and gender equality” through programs supporting women throughout the world.

In the pictures of the event, there was no sign of the wedding ring that Nicole was spotted wearing while in the Hamptons at the end of April. She is wearing the engagement ring that she has been seen with at earlier events. It’s also difficult to tell if she’s pregnant, as has been widely rumored.

That’s good news that Nicole and Keith are donig well, and we hope a wedding for the two will happen soon.

People are saying that Nicole Kidman hasn’t seen her kids in ages while crazy Tom Cruise is jetting all over the world, but still manages to go to Conner and Isabella’s sports matches.

Star thinks it has to do with Tom’s controlling nature, but it sounds to us like Nicole Kidman just doesn’t care:

Obviously the source is a friend of Nicole’s and is making excuses for her absence from their lives. We aren’t a fan of Tom, but couldn’t Nicole make more of an effort to see her children?

It came out in January that a former nanny of Nicole and Tom said that Nicole was never around at all.

Tom may be a crazy cult spokesperson, but at least he’s there for his kids.

The National Enquirer is running an exclusive that claims that Keith Urban has called off plans to marry Nicole in order to focus on his sobriety. They claim that Nicole had a fall wedding in Tahiti planned, but that Urban canned it and wants time off from the relationship:

This doesn’t seem true to us for a few reasons. First of all, Nicole may not have been wearing her engagement ring while she was in the Hamptons, but she was seen with a plain gold band that looked suspiciously like a wedding ring.

From what we heard, Nicole was planning a summer wedding in Australia, not a fall wedding in Tahiti. The Sun reports today that Nicole has set the date for June 25th, beating Tom and Katie’s expected 4th of July wedding.

Urban may have wanted some time away, but it sounds like a temporary thing, and the “insider” may have been reporting old news. They made a reference to the CMT awards, which were on April 10th, nearly a month ago. Keith spoke of Nicole specifically at the CMT awards, in what was viewed as his first public admission of their relationship. Plus, Nicole could be pregnant and has been seen with what may be a growing baby bump.

Hopefully Nicole and Keith will get married soon and put all these silly rumors behind them.

Naomi Watts’ Oscar attire included a ripped dress and a flouncy ruffled number that may have been a misguided attempt to hide a growing baby bump. (Yes, we said this already, but a little repetition never hurts.)

Now she was spotted out at the Tribeca film fest with her boyfriend, Liev Shreiber, wearing a full-out poncho with horizontal stripes! Her face looks more filled out too.

Schreiber is said to have bought Watts a 5 carat engagement ring at jeweler Neil Lane. Watts kept her hands conspicuously in her pockets while these pictures were taken, and it’s hard to see if she’s wearing a ring.

Watts and Schreiber have been plagued by rumors that their relationship is in trouble, with The NY Daily News reporting that Schreiber is controlling and that both were looking for new partners. Reader Millie points out that The NY Daily News doesn’t like Schreiber and that they “never fail to take a stab at him.” She thinks that Watts and Schreiber each had a difficult childhood and are having trouble adjusting to a long-term stable relationship. Watt’s friend Nicole Kidman also looks pregnant and may already be married to her boyfriend, Keith Urban. Sources say that the Kidman and Urban are planning a June wedding in their native Australia, but we think they’re already married.

Nicole Kidman was photographed leaving a Starbucks in the Hamptons on 4/21 while clutching a pile of papers. Commentors on the bulletin board where we found the pictures note that she looks like she’s covering a baby bump, especially in a side picture (shown inset) that seems to show a lower-stomach bulge. No one noticed that she’s wearing what looks like a wedding ring on her left ring finger, though, suggesting she may have already married her boyfriend of less than a year, Keith Urban.

People have suggested Nicole is pregnant for a few weeks, and that she’s planning a wedding to country singer Keith Urban. With these new pictures of Nicole hiding a baby bump and wearing a wedding ring, she may be confirming that both rumors are true.

Meanwhile someone made up the quote from Kidman wishing just Katie Holmes and her baby well, and seeming to deliberately leave Tom out:

If Kidman is indeed pregnant and married, the press will soon be focussing on her and not as much on her freaky ex and his new baby.

The rumors that Nicole Kidman, 38, and Keith Urban, 38, are getting hitched seem to come up frequently, but this time there’s a decent reason: Nicole has been granted an annulment from her 11 year marriage to Tom Cruise. This clears the way for her to marry again in a Catholic ceremony.

It is also rumored that Kidman’s parents want her to make Urban sign a prenupital agreement so that he can’t get his hands on her fortune.

Meanwhile there’s supposed to be a scandalous reason behind Nicole and Tom’s divorce that may be revealed by the surveillance tapes that were seized in an FBI investigation of the private eye that Tom hired to snoop on Nicole. No one seems to know what the scandal is exactly, so the mere existence of one doesn’t mean that it’s newsworthy.

Keith Urban has finally admitted that he has a relationship with Nicole Kidman and is living with her. Extra TV reports that he referred to Nicole while he was hosting a country music event:

Things got crazy a week ago when news outlets speculated that Kidman was planning a wedding because she was nowhere to be found. It turns out that she was just spending alone time with Urban.

The latest rumor according to Britain’s The Sun is that Kidman and Urban are planning a wedding in Nashville in June.

We reported two days ago that wedding rumors were heating up for Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban. Now Kidman has been missing for several days and people are speculating that she’s holed up somewhere planning the nuptuals:

Nicole may simply be taking a rest at some out of the way spa, but we hope the rumors are true. We’re rooting for Kidman to beat her crazy ex Tom to the altar.

Update: Jude Law’s ex, Sadie Frost, is still not sure if Law cheated on her with Nicole Kidman after the two were photographed together by British tabloid The Sun. Kidman said that she only had a working relationship with Law and won a defamation suit against the tabloid. Law also denied the affair. Frost now says she can’t be certain if Law hooked up with Kidman, because he’s proved to be a cheater since.

Kidman and Urban met at an LA dinner honoring Australians in January 2005 and seem to have started dating over the summer. They initially struggled to keep their romance a secret. In fact Kidman was criticized for an August, 2005 publicist’s statement that she was “enjoying a nice friendship” with Urban. The couple went public with their relationship at February’s Grammy awards.

This is not the first wedding rumor for the pair. In late December The Sun reported that they were to be married “that weekend”. A month later the rumor mill heated up again with stories of a wedding in March. Nicole’s publicist denied those reports, calling them “nonsense.” In February Nicole was said to be tired of ex-addict Keith’s partying, and may have called off the engagement.

This seems like the most substantial wedding rumor yet. Nicole has been wearing a gorgeous diamond engagement ring and it seems to be just a matter of time before she marries Urban. While Nicole did not wear her ring to the Academy Awards, she did sit with Keith and took him to the Vanity Fair party as her date. We hope she beats her ex, Tom, to the altar.
