Mel Gibson’s baby-mama wants us to know she’s not just some clever golddigger who gets pregnant any time some rich, crazy dude gives her a second glance. No, Oksana Grigorieva wants us to know that she’s a “singer”. And People magazine has the evidence to prove it. Oksana has released her first single to People, and it’s one of the most awful things I’ve ever heard. The song is called “Say My Name” – but, no, it’s not a Destiny’s Child cover. What’s weird is that if someone with a great voice did the same song, it might be pretty good. But Oksana’s voice is just… horrible. The word that came to mind was “screeching”.

Until now, Oksana Grigorieva’s name has been more associated with Hollywood gossip than with musical chops – the Russia-born singer and pianist is pregnant with Mel Gibson’s child – but Grigorieva hopes that will change starting with Monday’s release of “Say My Name,” the first single from her forthcoming album, Beautiful Heartbreak.

A classically trained pianist who hails from Saransk, Russia, Grigorieva, 39, penned every song on the album except for “Say My Name,” which exclusively debuts on PEOPLE.com – for that she collaborated on the lyrics with none other than Gibson himself.

“It is the first and one of the simplest songs on the album, but also one of the most intimate,” says Grigorieva, whose baby with Gibson, 53, is due in late fall. “It is naked, intimate, raw emotion, little more than piano and voice as if it is a cry from the soul.”

Signed to Gibson’s record label, Icon Records, Grigorieva first stepped out with the Oscar-winning filmmaker at a Los Angeles screening of X-Men Origins: Wolverine on April 28, two weeks after Gibson’s wife Robyn filed for divorce. Gibson, who has said that he and Robyn have been separated for three years, announced the pregnancy on the May 25 Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

I find two thing odd. First, Oksana seems hellbent on proving that she’s actually got a career, which may come in handy if it turns out the baby she’s carrying isn’t Mel’s. Except that I really believe that Oksana’s not dumb enough to get pregnant by another guy and try and pass the kid off as Mel’s. So why does she need a career? Oksana could just sit there and be a golddigger. Enjoy the credit cards and the crazy, Oksana. Secondly, since when did People magazine become the go-to outlet for releasing a song? People has been pushing a more family-friendly version of Mel and Oksana’s relationship for a while now, even getting exclusive interviews with Oksana’s mom in Moscow. Methinks Mel wants to give his golddigger some legitimacy.

It seems Mel Gibson only trusts pregnant girlfriend Oksana as far as he can throw her. Mel has been harangued by his adult children and his soon-to-be ex-wife into demanding a DNA test on the child Oksana is carrying. According to the National Enquirer, the kids want to make sure that Oksana’s baby is “a rightful heir to his fortune.” Except I read that as “a rightful heir to the Crazy throne.” Mel’s kids aren’t the only ones worried – apparently, he’s been getting crap from the people at his church, too. It seems the general consensus for everyone around Mel is that Oksana is a gold-digger who got pregnant to get a nice slice of Mel’s fortune. Shocking!

So who else could have fathered this baby? The best hunch the Enquirer can come up with is Oksana’s ex-boyfriend, music producer David Foster. But who really thinks Oksana would have stupid enough to get pregnant with someone else‘s baby? She took one look at Mel and saw the crazy cash register:

[Mel] agreed to seek a DNA test after his grown children and close friends persuaded him to make sure the baby is a rightful heir to his fortune.

“Mel really loves Oksana, but he’s a businessman, too. He really had no choice but to ask for a DNA test,” a source close [Mel] told the Enquirer.

[Mel] made the decision after speaking with friends and with the grown children he had with his estranged wife Robyn, the source divulged.

“Some of Mel’s closest friends in his church convinced him that it’s the practical thing to do. There’s just too much at stake,” the insider said.

“Mel doesn’t believe that Oksana has been with anyone else, but after hearing misgivings from his children and friends, he decided he had no choice. Oksana wasn’t happy about it, but once her baby is born, there will be a paternity test.”

[The] April 13 divorce suit filed by Gibson’s long-suffering wife Robyn has set the stage for a bitter battle over his billion-dollar fortune.

Sources say Mel has been hearing rumors about the possibility that [Oksana had] been seeing her ex, award-winning music-producer David Foster. But there’s no evidence that her baby is anybody’s but Mel’s.

“Mel was sick and tired of the questions about Oksana’s loyalty, but it finally got to him,” adds the source. “He didn’t want to bring up the subject of a DNA test to her, but he realized he had no choice.”

His kids have pressured Gibson to take a paternity test, insisting that he get physical proof that the child is really his, confides the source.

“Some members of Mel’s family believe Oksana is a gold digger,” an insider adds. “It’s hard for Mel to hear that. He says he’s agreed to the DNA test not for himself, but for his family.”

For Oksana, it’s not all pain, suffering, mistrust, dirty deeds and dealing with Mel’s nasty, drunken self. According to a separate report form In Touch, Mel is already making sure that Oksana, her 11-year-old son and the baby will be taken care of no matter what. In Touch has Mel buying Oksana a $2.4 million home in Sherman Oaks, California. It’s not exactly Mel’s extensive multi-million dollar spread in Malibu, but it’s not too shabby:

Mel Gibson [bought Oksana] and her 11-year-old son, Alexander, a charming $2.4 million love nest. The 3,468-square-foot home in Sherman Oaks, CA has four bedrooms and three-and-a-half baths, plus indoor and outdoor fireplaces and fountains in the backyard.

“It’s a beautiful place,” says one observer.

Despite the house, a rep for the actor denied a Chicago Sun-Times report that Mel will also pay Oksana “$10 million once the child is born later this year, $40,000 a month in child support and pay for all educational expenses through college.”

Yes, Mel denied that payment plan that the Chicago Sun-Times reported – because Mel is waiting for the DNA test to come in. Once it’s established that it’s Mel’s baby (I’m sure it is), the payment system will be back on, I’m positive. It’s almost enough to make me wish I had a rich sugar daddy. The National Enquirer was the first tabloid to break the news about Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva’s pregnancy, so I have to think they might have some kind of inside track on this “happy” couple. That being said, there are several pieces of information that ring false to me in this latest NE report. The gist of it is probably true – known and acknowledged alcoholic Mel is still having serious drinking problems, and it’s a cause for concern with almost everyone around him. Here’s the part that I think is iffy – Oksana is allegedly threatening to pack up her womb and walk out on Mel if he doesn’t deal with his alcoholism. According to the Enquirer, “Mel’s got a hair-trigger temper when he’s drunk, and Oksana insists she won’t stick around when he’s like that. She’s informed Mel that if he doesn’t go to rehab, she’ll bow out of the picture before they go any further.” Once again, I don’t doubt that Mel is a nasty drunk. But I doubt that any amount of nastiness will keep Oksana from her own private money train:

The Enquirer has learned Oksana – the woman behind Mel’s $1 billion divorce – is demanding the Oscar winner get professional help with his booze addiction or she’s prepared to cut all ties.

“Oksana wants Mel to deal with his drinking on a long-term basis,” a source close to the couple said.

“Mel’s got a hair-trigger temper when he’s drunk, and Oksana insists she won’t stick around when he’s like that. She’s informed Mel that if he doesn’t go to rehab, she’ll bow out of the picture before they go any further.”

The 53-year-old superstar – whose 2006 DUI arrest and anti-Semitic meltdown made headlines around the world – has struggled for years with a drinking problem. And while he’s owned up to alcoholism and is a big AA supporter, [Mel] has never entered a residential rehab program to deal with his addiction.

Oksana – who is four months pregnant with his baby – believes alcoholism is the reason [Mel] indulged in so many extramarital affairs, according to another source.

“Oksana thinks Mel will be less likely to cheat on her if he’s not out drinking,” a Gibson family friend told the Enquirer. “But she knows that Mel’s very stubborn and that it’s hard for him to stop drinking, especially now with all the changes in his life.”

“The good thing is that Mel really loves Oksana, and he desperately wants to get his act together. He says he’s willing to do whatever she wants, but only time will tell if he stands by his words.”

A feud [between Mel, his soon-to-be-ex-wife Robyn and their seven kids] over Mel’s fortune has ensued, and sources say Mel’s older kids are worried their hefty trust funds are at stake due to his new relationship.

As I was reading this, I did the same thing, only I put the words “but she’ll still cash the paycheck” after every sentence. It works beautifully. Meanwhile, in a different part of the Enquirer, there was this juicy little nugget:

That’s the next big question – will Mel marry this woman? Is he that… what’s the word… dumb? Deranged? Mid-life-crisis-y? On the same note, earlier this week, we reported on this weird little story from People Magazine that seemed like a plant from Mel’s publicity team and Oksana’s mother (who lives in Russia, and probably depends on Mel’s largesse). In the piece, Oksana’s mom says that she’s really happy for her daughter because Oksana’s finally found someone to “take care of her”. Even though the story was a plant, I think it probably held more truth than this Enquirer piece, which makes Oksana sound really independent. I think Oksana is hellbent on getting Mel down the aisle – even if he has to drunkenly stumble his way down to the priest.

Mel Gibson’s rep has confirmed that his girlfriend, Russian singer Oksana Grigorieva, is pregnant. This comes after weeks of rumors, first reported by the National Enquirer, that Oksana is expecting. Mel’s rep says that the divorce filing had nothing to do with Oksana’s pregnancy and that Mel didn’t know at that time that Oksana was pregnant. She is in her second trimester and is due this fall:

Six weeks after his wife Robyn filed for divorce after 28 years of marriage, Mel Gibson has some news of his own: his Russian musician girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva, 39, is pregnant, the actor’s rep confirms exclusively to PEOPLE.

“He couldn’t be happier,” says a Gibson friend. “He loves being a father.”

Grigorieva, who is signed to Gibson’s record label, Icon Records, is in her second trimester and due in the late fall.

For those eager to point to Grigorieva’s pregnancy as a catalyst for Gibson’s divorce, they’ll be wrong, says the close source: “This has nothing to do with the divorce. Mel didn’t even know Oksana was pregnant when they filed.

This will be Mel’s eighth child. He has seven children with his estranged wife of nearly 29 years, Robyn, but only one is a minor. His youngest child is Thomas, who is ten, and his second youngest, Milo, is already 20.

Last night Mel went on The Tonight Show to confirm the news and to clear the air about the end of his marriage. The guy who made headlines around the world for his anti-semetic rant on a police officer wants us all to know that his marriage was over for three years before he hooked up with Oksana. He also joked that we can call him Octo-Mel since the new one will be his eighth:

Gibson, 53, said he took the blame for the divorce. “My wife and I, our marriage ended three years ago and we’ve been separated ever since then,” Gibson said. “These things happen. It’s unfortunate, it’s sad, but you know she is an admirable woman – we still got kids together. We’re friends.”

When Leno pressed Gibson by asking, “So what happened?” Gibson replied, “Look. When it’s all said and done, I did a pretty good hatchet job on my marriage myself. I’m to blame. If you’re inclined to judge, put it here.”

Leno then joked with Gibson about his dating a younger woman. “What, is she 17, 18?” Leno asked. Gibson replied that Grigorieva was almost 40 and “now I am going to have two women mad at me!” Leno then said, “The rumor I have heard is that you guys are going to have a child?” Gibson then confirmed, “This is true. We’re gonna have a child.”

Piling it on, Leno joked, “So that will make 29? ” Quickly, Gibson responded, “Well, actually eight. I guess I’m Octo-Mel.”

If all that is true and if Mel and his wife were separated for three years, why did it take her so long to file for divorce? Was she just putting it off and did Mel force her hand by getting photographed with the other woman? Mel also bought a mansion for Oksana and her seven year-old son in December of last year. Their “love nest” was minutes away from Mel’s family’s estate. So did Mel think that he could carry on with Oksana and stay married? It was Robyn who filed for divorce first. At least he’s coming clean about it now and isn’t trying to hide Oksana’s pregnancy. Surely everything wasn’t as simple as Mel is making it seem, but you can’t blame him for trying to change the public’s perception of him.

Things really seem to be going at a steady pace for Mel Gibson and his Russian girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva. After making their first public splash at the Wolverine premiere not even one month ago, rumors quickly surfaced that Oksana was already pregnant. The original report came from The National Enquirer, and they claimed she was well into the end of her first trimester. TMZ “confirmed” that report on Monday, but so far neither Mel nor Oksana has said anything publicly. But that may change very soon… Oksana’s mom is talking to the press!

Oksana’s mother’s name is Lyudmila Chernukha, and she lives in a home outside of Moscow. Magically, People Magazine was able to get an exclusive statement from Ms. Chernukha. People Magazine must have opened up a Moscow bureau. Since I don’t want to keep typing her name, I’m just going to call this woman “Mom”. Mom tells People that she cannot confirm those pesky rumors that her daughter is pregnant with Mel Gibson’s love child, only giving this cryptic non-denial: “Wait for the official statement from them.” For the love of…

A mother always knows – even if she won’t tell.

Lyudmila Chernukha, a retired Russian music teacher whose daughter Oksana Grigorieva is dating Mel Gibson, denies Oksana broke up the actor’s marriage, but remains mum on rumors the pair are expecting a child.

“I can’t say anything,” Chernukha, speaking in Russian, tells PEOPLE exclusively from her home outside of Moscow. “Wait for the official statement from them.”

Chernukha, who started her daughter on piano lesson when she was 3, said that Oksana – a singer signed to Gibson’s record label – started seeing him well after the actor and his wife separated, which the mother says happened in 2006.

“He split up with his wife three years ago, so to suggest that she has broken up their marriage is rubbish,” she says. “He was no longer with his wife so he was bound to meet some woman at some point, it just happened to be Oksana.”

Gibson’s wife of 28 years, Robyn, filed for divorce April 13 citing “irreconcilable differences” but not stating a date when they split. Gibson says they separated in August 2006, less than a month after his notorious DUI incident.

Gibson, 53, and Grigorieva, 39, confirmed they were dating when they made a surprise red carpet appearance April 28 at the Los Angeles premiere of X-Men Origins: Wolverine amid Internet and newspaper reports that Grigorieva is pregnant. Gibson’s rep has declined comment.

Grigorieva, meanwhile, has been living with her son Alexander (by her former boyfriend, actor Timothy Dalton), in a Sherman Oaks home owned by a trust linked to Gibson’s production company while working on a record. According to her mom, she has come down with acute homesickness.

“I talk to her all the time and she really misses Russia, ” says Chernukha, who along with Grigorieva’s father Pytor, often visits their daughter in California. “It’s her homeland.”

Chuckle. Yes, I’m sure Oksana “misses Russia” but consoles herself every night with the suitcases full of cash Mel is paying her. Too rough? I apologize, but this woman looks like she only gets turned on by three things: cash, jewelry and cash. Considering Mom is releasing this kind of non-denial, too coy half statement, I’d say Oksana really is knocked up. However, I will give Oksana the benefit of the doubt on one thing – I don’t really think she was this all-powerful homewrecker who made Mel Gibson leave his wife. I think Mel and Robyn were already having lots of problems, and Mel was seeing several women on the side, and Oksana was just the one who stuck around the longest.

By the way, are we calling Oksana Grigorieva Mel Gibson’s girlfriend, or his “girlfriend”? I’m asking because I tend to think she’s his “girlfriend”. Something about the eyes… she has the look of a woman who loves money, and Mel has the look of a man with equal parts money and insanity. If Oksana’s pregnant, she’s going to call the little one “$500 million divorce settlement”.

This story isn’t only about the rumored baby – apparently Mel’s oldest sons, Edward and Christian, have hired an attorney to protect the trust funds their parents set up. Ah, it seems Edward and Christian have noticed the look in Oksana’s eyes as well. Perhaps they’re referring to their soon-to-be half-sibling as “over my trust fund’s dead body”.

According to the National Enquirer, the Braveheart star sat his children down and announced that Oksana Grigorieva, 39, is about three months gone.

Gibson’s two oldest boys — 26-year-old twins Edward and Christian — will hire an attorney to protect their trust funds, and insiders expect his estranged wife Robyn will seek more than half of Gibson’s billion-dollar fortune.

“In late April, Mel gathered his children at the family home in Malibu and broke the news that Oksana is pregnant, and he expects them to accept the baby as a new sibling,” an insider said.

“They are quite upset,” the source revealed. “Even though Mel assured them the pregnancy was unplanned, they’re furious with him and say they’re going to take steps to protect their inheritance, which they feel is in jeopardy.”

Gross. So Mel told his family about the bundle of joy about two weeks ago – and they’re saying Oksana’s “about three months gone”. Interesting. So she got pregnant (allegedly) the beginning of February, give or take a week. But Mel’s wife Robyn didn’t file for divorce until April 13th. So, Oksana was married Mel’s mistress when she got pregnant, according to this story. Well, she certainly works fast.

As far as the money stuff, I think it would really depend on how Mel and Robyn set up their children’s trusts. Is it one large trust that is simply for Mel’s heirs? If it is, another child might mean less inheritance. But, if the trusts are set up as I suspect, there are multiple trusts individually assigned to each of Mel and Robyn’s children, and Robyn will likely fight to retain the trusts as-is within the divorce proceedings. So, basically, any children that Mel has beyond the seven kids he has with Robyn will be getting their inheritance from Mel’s half of the divorce settlement. Haha, sucker.

Mel Gibson isn’t wasting time sneaking around with his new mistress. Now that his wife of 28 years, Robyn, is divorcing him he’s decided to go public with his new girlfriend, 39-year-old Russian singer Oksana Grigorieva. Mel and Oksana showed up hand in hand last night at the premiere of X Men: Wolverine.

It was just last week that the media finally figured out which Oksana Mel was cheating with. The then-unknown dark-haired woman was photographed with him on set in Boston last November, and again at his estate in Costa Rica in March. Outlets were guessing at which Oksana Mel was stepping out with, and she was finally identified as Timothy Dalton’s ex. Then the news came out that Mel had purchased a house for Oksana and her 11 year-old son from her relationship with Dalton. Mel’s wife and seven kids were said to be devastated to learn about his secret “second family.”

Now we know that Mel isn’t going to hide Oksana away any longer. This was probably the smartest way to stop the gossip, but it must have been very painful for Robyn to see. Rumor has it that he was unfaithful to his wife for years, and I would bet that Robyn put up with Mel’s infidelity until she learned that he was serious with this latest woman. It is said to have hit her “like a ton of bricks” to learn that her husband had purchased a home for his mistress.

Mel stands to lose half of his estimated one billion fortune in his divorce, which could go down as the highest settlement in Hollywood history.

Mel Gibson has been married for over 28 to Robyn Moore, but that’s about to change. Robyn has filed for divorce and stands to emerge with the highest known settlement in Hollywood history. Mel and Robyn don’t have a prenuptial agreement and under California law she’s entitled to half his fortune, estimated at nearly a billion USD. Before the divorce became public, the 53 year-old father of seven was photographed out twice with a woman rumored be his mistress, a tall dark haired woman known only as singer named Oksana.

There’s been plenty of speculation over who Gibson’s mystery Oksana could be. Earlier in the week a 24 year-old Russian singer named Oksana Pochepa came forward to claim that she was the Oksana involved in a relationship with Gibson. That seemed to be a publicity stunt as that Oksana had light hair and blue eyes and looked nothing like the dark-haired brown-eyed woman photographed with Mel. Another Oksana, a blonde married piano player, also denied a relationship with Mel.

People Magazine has dug up more on Mel’s mystery Oksana. She is a 39 year-old singer signed to Gibson’s record label and it looks like she’s living in a home he purchased for her. Oksana Grigorieva was previously in a relationship with Timothy Dalton, with whom she has a grown 12 year-old son:

Now the identity of his mystery girlfriend may be revealed: Public records suggest Oksana Grigorieva, 39, an ex of former James Bond star Timothy Dalton, has lived in a house linked to Gibson, 53.

The home, purchased in Sherman Oaks, Calif., in December 2008, has an ownership trust administered by the CFO of Mel Gibson’s production company, Icon.

While neither Grigorieva nor Gibson have commented, Grigorieva certainly resembles the leggy brunette photographed with Gibson on the Boston set of his upcoming film, Edge of Darkness, and seen frolicking in the surf with the star in Costa Rica.

A composer, Grigorieva is dedicated to her craft, her former agent Victor Kruglov tells PEOPLE. “She’ll never give up with her music,” says Kruglov, who has seen photographs of Mel’s mystery woman and believes she and Grigorieva are one and the same. “She loves it.”

Though she rarely confided in him about her love life, Kruglov says Grigorieva did once complain about trouble with a boyfriend – but stopped short of sharing specifics. “She was always very discreet about her personal business,” he adds.

She has one son with the 63-year-old Dalton, Alexander, who is based in Los Angeles.

I wonder if this woman was signed to Gibson’s record label before or after they hit the sheets. Now that it’s known that Mel bought her a home it may ensure that his wife gets her fair share of his immense fortune. Robyn didn’t list a separation date in her divorce papers, but Mel’s response has their date of separation as August 26, 2006, about a month after his infamous DUI. According to TMZ, the separation date is important as it is used in determining which assets to divide. Was Mel catting around on Robyn before their separation? The Gibsons have issued a statement that they will strive for integrity and privacy in their divorce for the sake of their family, but the tabloids are sure to dig up more as this proceeds.
