A matter of mere days ago the internet was abuzz with rumors that Cameron Diaz was dating Jennifer Aniston’s ex, model Paul Sculfor. The pair were seen taking a walk and making out on a beach in Los Angeles on Monday – a classic romantic combination. Later that day, Diaz was photographed driving (with a different man in her car) with a massive ring on her left hand, leading us to wonder if she’s planning on tying the knot.

The actress appeared to flash the dazzling ring at photographers as she left the Nobu restaurant in Santa Monica yesterday, indicating that her relationship with new beau Paul Sculfor may have taken a more serious turn.

Earlier this week the 35-year-old was pictured looking blissfully happy as she kissed and cuddled the bricklayer-turned-model, who previously dated Jennifer Aniston, during a day out in West Hollywood.

The couple couldn’t keep their hands off each other as they enjoyed a dinner date before strolling to a nearby boutique.

The romance between Cameron Diaz and Diddy must be casual or over, because she was seen out on a dinner date with Paul Sculfor, the hot British male model who first gained tabloid fame by stepping out with Jennifer Aniston last June. The gossip mill claimed at the time that Sculfor was just using Aniston for her fame and money, and if that was true he may be up to his old tricks again. US Weekly says he had Diaz laughing a lot over their romantic dinner and that she looked “really flirty.” Diaz used to date jabbering John Mayer, who is now dating Sculfor’s ex, Jennifer Aniston, which essentially means they’ve switched partners:

The two hit up Il Ristorante di Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, California, Sunday.

“Cameron was laughing at everything he said — she didn’t stop smiling,” an onlooker told Usmagazine.com. “She was really flirty and had three or four of her buttons undone.”

The story we reported on earlier today about Diaz and Diddy at Prince’s party happened last month, and the news is just getting out now. I thought when I first heard this that she might be dating two guys at once, not that there’s anything wrong with that. If you’re famous and dating there must be a way to keep it relatively quiet if you don’t hit the parties and hot spots. You’ve probably got to pick out of the way places, but even then other guests and staff still might blab.

Cameron talked about being single and dating in her much-quoted interview in In Style, in which she exclaimed “I love sex!” She said “People think if you’re single, you are incomplete. No. The thing is, I don’t want to be in a relationship that makes me incomplete.” She also said she’s dating and that it’s not a big deal “I’m a woman. Of course I’m dating. And is that so surprising? Oh my god, she’s dating!”

Jennifer Aniston directed a movie which will be screening at the Palm Springs International Festival of Short Films & Short Film Market later this month. Well, I guess she co-directed it, though no one is writing it as such. It’s just casually mentioned that it’s also directed by Andrea Buchanan. I know everyone and their mother loves Jennifer Aniston, and I was a total “Friends” addict, but she never struck me as someone who was super smart or insightful. I’m guessing her directing involved sitting in the fancy chair while telling people to bring her stuff.

“The Hollywood Reporter says that Aniston co-directed the short film ‘Room 10′ with Andrea Buchanan.

“The romantic drama stars Robin Wright Penn and Kris Kristofferson and will be shown at the Palm Springs International Festival of Short Films & Short Film Market, which begins on 23 August.”

Alright. More proof than ever than Jennifer has moved on from Brad Pitt, and is still living a meaningful existence. In other Aniston news, once again everyone and their mother is reporting that she wants to start a family. Apparently her relationship with Paul Sculfor ended because he wasn’t ready. Didn’t they date for about two minutes? If she was already pressuring him for a marriage and kids at the point, I think a lot of guys would run away. Then they would realize they ran away from Jennifer Aniston, and really, really regret it.

“A source reveals, ‘Jen and Paul’s relationship had been moving very quickly and she decided she’d better make sure she knew where it was going and sat him down for a serious heart-to-heart . Sadly, after explaining her wishes for a family, it seems she realised Paul was not at the same stage in his life.’

“Friends of the 36-year-old model claim Paul didn’t feel ready to commit to becoming a father so soon into his two-month relationship with Jennifer.”

Relationships progress at different speeds, so while that looks fast on paper, maybe it made sense (at least to Jennifer) within the context of their relationship. Jennifer needs to start choosing her boyfriends more wisely. Brad Pitt was a good choice, and I don’t mean that just from a vanity perspective. He’s funny, smart, nice, socially and environmentally active, has interests beyond Hollywood, etc. Okay now I feel sad for her again. Anyway, then she moved on to Vince Vaughn. I’ve never understood what the attraction was, or why people think he’s so cool. He seems really full of himself, and should have realized how lucky he was to have her. In fact, ever since Brad, Jen seems to have only dated guys that treated her poorly. So cheer up, Jennifer Aniston. You have a house by the beach and nice hair. What more do you need in your line of work?

Even though Jennifer Aniston had supposedly broken up with model Paul Sculfor, sources are saying that the two are still together, and Jennifer is actually considering moving to England with him – to aid his homesickness.

The Friends star is claimed to be happy with a move across the Atlantic to aid her homesick boyfriend.

A source commented: “Jennifer loves the UK and London - especially now that, with her relationship with Paul, she has a reason to be there.

“Paul has been missing home and Jennifer is tired of Los Angeles so it seems only logical they give it a go.”

They added: “Paul has a place in the UK but they plan to look for something together in London soon.”

Somehow I don’t think Jennifer is stupid enough to do that just yet. She seems uber – if not over – bonded with best friend Courtney Cox, and apparently has a pretty tight circle of friends in Los Angeles. The article also claims that Aniston and Sculfor never broke up, and that Sculfor actually just went home to London for two weeks.

This woman has a history of picking men that don’t want to commit to her. She was engaged to Tate Donovan, married for five years, only to be left for Angelina Jolie (though of course Brad refutes that), then spent how many years clowning around with Vince Vaughn, who everyone knew she was too good for, and he still wouldn’t commit to her. Sometimes you just look at someone and can see they’re empty, and Paul Sculfor is one of those guys. Maybe it’s the vacant model stare, but there’s just a lack of substance there. I hope she finds someone decent who treats her well. Actually, I still hope she finds Ross, but I’m a loser that way.
