Cher may get an ongoing gig at The Coliseum at Caesars Palace when Celine Dion ends her longstanding run there next year. If the deal goes through it will be worth $60 million to the aging singer, who was thought to have announced her retirement last year.

Elizabeth Hurley, Ashley Judd, breast cancer survivor Anastacia, and Elton John and his partner David Furnish were among the attendees at “The Very Hot Pink Party” in New York last night. Proceeds went to benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Elton John and Tony Bennett performed.

Elizabeth Hurley is launching her own line of swimsuits and has just signed up to represent the handbag firm, Lancel.

Elton John has done a lot of charity work recently. He cleaned out his closets to donate more than 10,000 items with the proceeds to benefit his Aids foundation.

We did a little research and think we figured out Angelina and Brad’s latest location. Reuters reports that the Jolie-Pitts have moved from The Burning Shore resort in Namibia that we posted pictures of earlier to “a lodge in the Etosha National Game Park in northern Namibia, where lions are a top tourist draw and would help deter intruders trying to photograph the couple.” Obviously their last location was too accessible and did not afford them the privacy they were hoping.

There are many lodges in the Estosha National Game park. We browsed a lot of websites and compared prices. Most are nice, but not luxurious, and some are high-end, but have more than 15 rooms.

The Little Ongava Lodge stands out as a luxurious getaway that’s small and manageable enough for the Jolie-Pitts to book out. It has three spacious suites, each with their own swimming pool. It’s also located on a hill and boasts of the privacy it provides to guests:

Here are pictures of The Little Ongava Lodge. Again, this is our best guess, but it’s much better than the rest of the area lodges, and we think we’re right.

Mischa Barton has stopped smoking up long enough to realize that she’s out of Cisco Adler’s league. Adler was said to be unhappy with Barton’s partying, which led the actress to break up with the Whitestarr frontman:

The two were said to be engaged last fall, but that seems to have been short lived. Page Six, hardly known for its accuracy, reported that they first split on February 26. They were spotted together since, suggesting they had reconciled.

This time Barton seems to have wised up. She’s hardly as foolish as most other actresses, and Adler must have had some redeeming qualities, but she’s likely to move on to better fare now that she’s single.

Barton is also said to want to leave “The O.C.” now that the show is not doing as well in the ratings.

Ashlee Simpson will host the MTV Australian Video Music Awards at the Sydney Superdome tomorrow night. Her sister, Jessica, will be on hand for assumed presenting duties:

Ashlee held a press conference for the event with fellow performing act The Veronicas. Lisa Origliasso of The Veronicas is dating Simpson’s ex boyfriend, Ryan Cabrera. Simpson and Cabrera split in the summer of 2004, citing their busy schedules as young artists and a lack of time together. Simpson’s “Pieces of Me” is reportedly about Cabrera.

New York Magazine tries to move copies with a headline declaring that they have the first Brangelina baby photos. Of course all they have are fuzzy faked photos using lookalikes and a newborn. They even have the Angelina model pose with the baby at her breast.

The long filler article covers the paparazzi’s scramble to get the first picture of the baby and societal fascination with it - a nonstory really. We’d rather read about how they’re fighting or where they’re sleeping in that Namibian Getaway.

The paparazzi lament the hilly terrain and bad lighting in France, and the pesky laws that keep them away from celebrities as a result of Princess Di’s death. Jolie and Pitt are expected to create a diversion when they leave the hospital so that the newborn can remain untouched by the lenses that follow the family everywhere. Of course it is thought that the world’s most famous couple will sell the first pictures to the highest bidder to benefit one of Angelina’s favorite charities. Angelina confirmed pregnancy rumors by letting Haitian charity Yele Haiti sell her bump pictures for $400,000 to People Magazine.

This news seems outdated now that the Jolie-Pitts are in Africa, and it’s really just an excuse to post pictures of the lookalikes with a baby.

Tara Reid has lamented the fact that people don’t take her seriously as an actress after she’s photographed stumbling all over town in various states of undress. Well it looks like her prayers have been answered and she no longer has to resort to swiping swag, because her brother has created a role custom made for her as the girlfriend of a professional bowler.

A source at ONTD reports that producers were looking for unpaid extras. If they can’t even afford to pay a paltry sum to the poor extras, what’s the film going to look like? It’s gonna suck…

The Maxim 100th issue party was held on April 8th at Club Tryst at the Wynn Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. While Christina Aguilera and Haylie Duff showed up, Paris and Nicky Hilton are noticeably absent from the arrival and inside pictures of the party. We know that they were at the Maxim weekend event as they attended the poker tournament the day before.

The sisters must have been too exhausted to party on Saturday night, because Perez Hilton reports that they were out quite late with a group the night before. Vanessa Minnillo had a cat fight! Paris also gave an impromptu performance of her entire CD at club Pure at 2:30 in the morning.

Oh no. The crap has just begun with Paris’ album. You can bet her singles are going to get more airplay and become stuck in a loop in your head worse that Madonna’s “Hung Up.”

The poker tournament proved to be a popular event at Maxim’s 100th issue celebration in Las Vegas this weekend. Pictured guests include Paris and Nicky Hilton, Vanessa Minnillo, Dave Navarro, Shannon Elizabeth, Taye Diggs, Jamie Lynn-Sigler, Haylie Duff, Gabrielle Union, Kelly Monaco, Anne Heche, and Mekhi Phifer.

Paris must have a thing for female VJs because she posed seductively with Vanessa Minnilo on the red carpet. She was seen in nude photographs with another VJ, Eglantina Zingg, in pictures hacked from her sidekick last year.

Paris has said that she doesn’t think she looks like Mother Teresa, but we couldn’t find a quote that she turned down the role to play the saintly nun in an upcoming Bollywood feature despite news reports jumping to that conclusion.

Here is Paris and company posing at the poker tournament. The winner was a guy named Robert Badgley, who took home a check for $10,000. We couldn’t whether it went to charity or not through a half-assed google search.

The c-listers were in Vegas this weekend for Maxim’s 100th issue celebration. Events included a poker tournament, golf tournament, and party. We will post pictures from the poker tournament and party shortly.

Maxim made headlines with a huge cover in the desert featuring Eva Longoria. Jossip points out that while the giant issue actually exists and is in the advertised spot, the Google Earth maps don’t show it - you have to view the image from the Maxim website.

Chop King of Cars owns the highest selling car dealership in America, and was profiled in an unflattering article in Maxim. We were originally going to title this article “Which of these women doesn’t belong?” in an obvious dig at Duff, but with Chop King of Cars in the mix it just doesn’t work.
