Taylor Armstrong said on a television interview (video here) that if it wasn’t for the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” her husband might have killed her. Taylor’s husband Russell committed suicide in mid August, dying deep in debt after multiple shady business dealings. In an interview on KTLA, Taylor claimed that the show had nothing to do with her husband’s suicide and that it would have ended up the same or he would have killed her if the cameras weren’t around.

‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star Taylor Armstrong is opening up about her estranged husband’s suicide and defending her decision to do the show.

Armstrong tells KTLA that she was in “an abusive relationship for six years,” and the presence –or absence — of cameras would not have altered that “reality.”

She also calls the show her “saving grace” and says she and her 5-year-old daughter, Kennedy, would likely have fallen victim to domestic violence, had it not been for the program.

“If the cameras were not in my life, there’s a good chance I wouldn’t be sitting here today because a lot of domestic violence situations end in murder-suicide versus just suicide.”

Armstrong says she spent five weeks in her house after her estranged husband, Russell Armstrong, 47, committed suicide. The troubled investment banker and venture capitalist was found hanging in a bedroom at a home on Mulholland Drive.

Many questioned whether being on the show contributed to his death.

Taylor Armstrong filed for divorce in July, claiming Russell physically abused her.

She says she has a titanium implant holding her right eye up as a result of the alleged violence.

“That’s a pretty significant situation,” she said.

Armstrong says the show gave her the platform to help other women in similar situations.

“I’m thankful to be here, especially for my daughter,” she said. “Imagine if she had two less parents instead of one. It’s been hard enough for her and I… I feel thankful at this point.”

So her dead husband didn’t kill her and committed suicide when he was alone, but he could have killed her if he had the chance, and none of this has anything to do with the pressure Russell felt from appearing on RHOBH. Taylor was horribly abused by Russell and it may be the case that he could have mudered her at some point. However he didn’t, and he has three children he’s left behind. When speaking of her ex’s awful legacy, I think Taylor should stick to the very terrible facts and not call him a potential killer, especially when his daughter was there in the studio with her. I hope little Kennedy, five, didn’t hear her mom say any of that. At least the newscasters questioned her about it and didn’t seem to buy her story.

Taylor has moved on after her estranged husband’s death. She’s been spotted out with Most Eligible Dallas castmember Matt Nordgren. She denied dating Nordgren in her KTLA interview, calling him “a good friend of mine.”

Last Thursday, Rob Shuter at the Huffington Post called out Bethenny Frankel for maybe-lying to Fobes about the amount of money she made from selling her SkinnyGirl beverage business. Forbes declared in a June cover story that Frankel had made over $100 million from the sale. Shuter went through the quarterly financial statement from the company that purchased SkinnyGirl, and misread the amount of “good will” afforded the company, $8.1 million, as the total sales price. A later segment of the report suggested that Skinny Girl was purchased for around $32 million. Accountants and financial lawyers among you commented that the financial details were being misread, that it was impossible to tell from the report what the purchasing price was, and that celebrities and millionaires regularly misrepresent their wealth in order to sound richer. Shuter and Huffpo later issued a correction stating that the numbers had been misread. In response, Frankel tweeted that Shuter was a “freelance writer with false info to get attention” and claimed she paid more than $8 million in taxes. She never gave a precise number as to what she sold SkinnyGirl for, and the company that bought it, Beam Global, said that we should “not expect that a black and white lump sum ‘purchase price’ figure will be made available. Suffice to say, this was not an $8.1 million acquisition.” No exact numbers, then, but I suspect it wasn’t quite as high as Bethenny would have us believe and that she knows it.

In an appearance on the Today Show this morning, Bethenny never gave a direct answer when Matt Lauer asked her if she made $100 million or not. She just hedged, called the publications that reported the $100 plus million figure “credible,” (as opposed to anyone who called her out on it) and said an exact number was “irrelevant.” She also defended her supposedly harrowing lost at sea experience that just happened to be captured on cameras for her reality show, but she talked around the accusations of the towboat operator who said it was a stunt.

On TODAY Monday, reality TV star and Skinnygirl entrepreneur Bethenny Frankel blamed jealousy and irresponsible journalism for recent reports about the sale of Skinnygirl cocktails.

“I think my recent success has polarized people,” she told Matt Lauer. “All I ever wanted to do was be able to pay my rent. They say mo’ money, mo’ problems; I never had problems like this.”

Forbes magazine and others estimated the price of acquisition of Skinnygirl cocktails by Bean Global at upwards of $100 million, but a Huffington Post blogger said that number was inflated – the deal was only worth $8.1 million. After a follow-up article in Forbes pointing out errors in the HuffPo story, the site ran a correction admitting that its number was wrong.

Though given a chance to set the record straight, Frankel stayed mum on the exact figure. She was, however, emphatic about the success of her brand.

“The number is irrelevant to me … when fans are wondering whether I said it was 10 times more than it was, I’m left to defend myself,” she said. “The bottom line is the public believes irresponsible bloggers who write anything they want … Skinnygirl Cocktails is about to sell a million cases in nine months. It’s remarkable. The money is irrelevant, but it’s a success.”

The star also discussed the controversy around her claims that she was lost at sea.

Either she made over $100 million or she didn’t. Don’t go claiming one thing all over the press for months and then act like it doesn’t matter and that people are stupid for calling you out on it. She concluded by referencing Giuliana Rancic’s breast cancer and saying that “this is garbage. You worry about your health, your family and this is garbage.” Again, she’s fine with putting out numbers about her supposed wealth when it’s to her liking, but when people ask her a direct question about it none of it matters and it’s all “garbage.”

I was just considering whether I should get my first mammogram. We’re hearing so much about this very prevalent cancer during this month of breast cancer awareness, and it makes me wonder if it’s something I should look into. Now that I’ve heard that E! correspondent Giuliana Rancic was diagnosed with breast cancer at 37 (she’s a year younger than me), I’m definitely considering it. Rancic revealed her diagnosis, which was made in August, this morning on The Today Show. She explained that she had a mammogram prior to her third round of IVF treatment after her doctor insisted on it. Luckily her cancer was caught it very early, but it sounds like she’s gone through so much in the past few months. She’s set to have surgery and radiation over the next few weeks.

Giuliana Rancic had an announcement to make during a Monday morning appearance on The Today Show — but it wasn’t the one she or anyone wanted or expected.

Instead of a happy pregnancy announcement, Rancic, 37, told Ann Curry: “I have early stage breast cancer.” The E! News host and Giuliana and Bill star made the frightening discovery back in August, as she was preparing for her third attempt to get pregnant through in vitro fertilization.

Rancic explained that her doctor sternly insisted that she get a mammogram before going through with the third IVF treatment. (The pregnancy hormones could “accelerate the cancer,” Rancic recalled her doctor as saying.)

The star, who said she has no family history of breast cancer, “wasn’t prepared to get a mammogram until i was 40 years old,” she admitted. “I never in my wildest dreams expected anything to be wrong.”

When the hospital called a few days later to tell her the shocking news, Rancic admits she was immediately “sobbing…It was like the world just crashed around me.”

But a visibly emotional Rancic assured fans, “I will be okay, because I found it early. I’m doing surgery this coming week, and then I go to radiation for six and a half weeks.”

At her side throughout the ordeal is husband Bill Rancic, 40. “Bill is unbelievable,” Rancic gushed. “He lets me cry when I want to cry. He just lets me feel what I want to feel.”

And the spouses of four years are determined to continue in their attempts to conceive once Giuliana’s medical isseus are resolved. “I’m not gonna give up,” she said. When she does get pregnant, “That baby will have saved my life,” she mused. “There’s some master plan. Now I know that [God] was looking out for me.”

She urged all women to get tested for breast cancer. “I think a lot of us think we’re invincible,” she said. “We have to start putting ourselves on the to do list.”

That’s pretty shocking. Giuliana explained on The Today Show she was initially against getting a mammogram and tried to argue against it to her doctor. She does have an aunt who is a breast cancer survivor, but explained that she went through prior testing for the breast cancer gene and she’s not a carrier. For as much as I don’t like Giuliana, she’s doing a incredibly good thing here by reminding us to get checked. All the pink ribbons and very helpful reminders I’ve been seeing these past month were not as convincing to me as hearing Giuliana tell her story.

It was just over a month ago that Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lopez were spotted out together on what may or may not have been a date. Both US Weekly and TMZ reported it like it was some romantic dinner, and like Cooper was chasing after J.Lo. Then People ran a story claiming it was just a business dinner. Huffpo’s Rob Shuter claimed that Lopez set Cooper up for the rumors by presenting it to him like a project meeting over dinner, and then having her publicist leak the story to the tabloids. That version sounded the most likely to me, given all the conflicting stories about it. Plus I just don’t think Lopez is Cooper’s “type.” (If he has a type and assuming his relationship with Renee Zellweger was legit.)

Whatever the case last month, it looks like these two (and their publicists) are on the same page now. People Magazine, the publicists’ mouthpiece, is running this story and they have “exclusive” photos of the two together, with Lopez laughably trying to hide her face. Since when does People run exclusive paparazzi photos?

Bradley Cooper was seen in Los Angeles Saturday with a woman paparazzi say is Jennifer Lopez and who our exclusive photos reveal to be a woman who sure looks an awful lot like the American Idol judge.

A source close to Lopez says the two spent time together on Saturday. Reps for both did not respond for comment.

This isn’t the first time Lopez, 42 has been seen with the Hangover star, 37. The pair had dinner last month at Per Se in New York City but quickly asserted that the meeting was nothing more than just business – but was it?

“After their date in New York, Bradley and Jennifer stayed in touch,” says a source close to Lopez.

The source also says: “She does like his attention, and it makes her feel good that he seems so into her. She has a fun time with Bradley and he makes her laugh.”

Adds another source: “She likes him.”

So now People is reporting their last outing as a “date,” when they last claimed it “was all business,” according to some insider source. And of course Bradley is “so into” J.Lo. since no one can resist her! I’m not buying this in any way, but a lot of you weren’t buying this guy’s long term relationship with Zellweger, either.I checked both of their IMDB pages to see if either of them have any movies coming out soon, but there’s nothing they could be promoting with this relationship – except for keeping their names in the press. At least this dude seems complicit in it too.

This story is about Leah Messer on “Teen Mom 2,” a 19 year-old from Elkview, West Virginia who had twin girls in December, 2009. Leah had a rough relationship with her girls’ father, breaking up with him, reuniting, marrying him and then divorcing him, all at an accelerated pace and all captured by MTV’s cameras. There’s a new article in In Touch about how Leah is upset that she’s being portrayed negatively by MTV. She’s also said to be particularly miffed at how producers treat her daughters, who are allegedly woken up at all hours and being made to act the same scenes over and over again until MTV gets enough footage for their liking. It sounds kind of abusive they way they phrase it. It’s probable that Leah is just annoyed at the way MTV is characterizing her and is retaliating by spreading negative stories about them. How hard is it to believe that “Teen Mom” producers have no regard for infants and just use them as tiny actors, though?

More than two years after the cameras first followed the teen, the now-famous reality starlet’s life has become a nightmare. With a production crew… watching her ever move, Leah, 19, thinks she practically made a deal with the devil. “The show controls her,” a friend tells In Touch. “It’s making her life hell!”

After several months off the air, Teen Mom 2 will return to MTV for its second season in December. But unlike the series’ fans, exhausted single mother-of-two Leah never got a break. “The crew often shows up unexpectedly and stays for weeks at a time,” the friend explains. And while Leah tells friends she feels like she’s on the verge of a nervous breakdown, she is even more terrified about the dangerous effects the production could have on her precious 22-month-old twin daughters, Aliannah and Aleeah.

According to the friend, the producers force Leah to wake the girls for filming at all hours, and then have the tots act out the scene over and over again. “One of the producers is so rude to the girls, which makes Leah’s blood boil!”

The show has left Leah with no free time, no protection for her children and no privacy – not even her most traumatic moments are off-limits to the crew. “They’ve captured almost everything, including the day she filed for divorce,” says the friend, referring to Leah’s heartbreaking split from her wayward baby daddy, Corey Simms, 20, in April. “She has finally had enough.”

Leah desperately wants to walk away from the show that made her a star. Unfortunately, she has no choice in the matter – the teen is under contract with the powerful network until she turns 21. With two-plus years left on the small screen, Leah can only sit and helplessly watch the new season, which she’s been told will portray her as a boy-crazy partier. Sums up her friend, “Leah thinks MTV is determined to make her look like a bad mom.”

It sounds like Leah is more upset at MTV for making her look bad on screen than for their supposed mistreatment of her girls. This is the trade off these teens make for this show. They get a quarter million a year and they have to pimp out their kids, put all the intimate details of their life on screen and get turned into caricature of themselves in order to sell a story line. There are plenty of hard working single teen moms who would change places with them in a heart beat, and those girls would probably have the exact same complaints. They’d be getting boob jobs and doing bikini photo ops too, it’s just part of the job.

That vampire from Twilight who looks like she has no business having blonde hair and the guy from American Idol who looks like Chris Kattan with a beard got married. These two crazy kids are 23 and 27 and have been dating a whole seven months. They met on a red carpet for the Red Riding Hood premiere on March 8 of this year. There’s video of them meeting all cute and everything, it’s at :52 here. Now these two are married, having made it official at a weekend ceremony in Malibu attended by 100 friends and family.

Nikki Reed and Paul McDonald said “I do” Sunday at a private ranch in Malibu, Calif. on Sunday in front of 100 guests, Reed’s rep confirms to Us Weekly exclusively.

“We couldn’t be happier!” the 23-year-old Twilight star and former American Idol season 10 contestant, 27, tell Us. “[We were] surrounded by our family and friends. We’re so glad this day has come!”

Reed and McDonald confirmed their engagement to Us in June after just two months of dating.

The couple first met at the premiere of Little Red Riding Hood in March. “You’re amazing,” she told him. “I’m blushing! I should go.”

McDonald clearly felt the same about his future wife. A month later, the singer moved in to Reed L.A. home. He admitted to Us that his instant connection with the actress was “weird,” especially since he wasn’t exactly a Twi-hard.

“I haven’t ever actually watched any of her movies. I don’t know too much of her career at all, but the person she is is super cool,” he said.

But even if he’s not first in line for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1, McDonald feels like he landed the jackpot with Reed. “She’s amazing. She’s the perfect girl,” he gushed to MTV News. “We fit each other; when you know, you know, and she’s the one.”

I think they’re sincere about each other, and I wish them well and everything. They got married really fast though and I doubt they had much time to stop and question whether they were ready to spend the rest of their lives together. They seem sweet and only moderately fame-whorey, so maybe they’ll make it work. Or maybe their divorce will be a secondary story that we’ll all shrug at in ten months time.

This story is from The National Enquirer, which regularly uses Kirstie Alley’s twitter feed for leads on ways to hilariously mock her in their deadpan journalistic-sounding style. (I love them so much.) So at first I assumed that’s how they came up with this story, and that Kirstie’s crush on Bradley Cooper is similar to the way she was cyber drooling all over Jamie Foxx. I searched her Twitter feed, though, and couldn’t find anything on Cooper there. So if she didn’t tweet about Cooper at all, that shows me that this story is probably true. It’s so random it must be. Plus Kirstie is delusional enough about her size and sex appeal to actually do this. She supposedly is “desperate for a date” with Bradley Cooper and thinks “she can have any man in Hollywood.” She’s trying to get mutual friends to set her up with him. Mwahahah!

The 60 year-old former “Fat Actress” – who has dropped an astonishing 100 pounds in the past several months – has been asking mutual friends to set her up with [Bradley Cooper], who is 36. But her cougar crush isn’t likely to work out, say sources, because the handsome actor is “just not that into her.”

“Kirstie has been desperate for a date with Bradley,” an insider revealed.

“Since dropping the pounds, Kirstie believes she can have any man in Hollywood – and Bradley is her number one pick.

“They have mutual friends, and Kirstie told them she wanted to meet Bradley. She thinks once he gets to know her, the feelings will be mutual.

Again, I totally believe this! Kirstie was married to Parker Stevenson, so she might have a “metrosexual, bland, possibly not straight” type. Some stories just write themselves. This is Katie Price, above, in her latest promotional appearance, for a TV reality show contest she’s doing. She regularly dresses like this. If you don’t know who she is, she’s a British faux celebrity who ghostwrote a bunch of books and makes money for slapping her name on stuff and being a famewhore. She’s like Kim Kardashian without bothering to pretend she has any class whatsoever. And yes, she also has a sex tape.

Somehow Katie Price got invited to give a speech about her life at a debating society at prestigious Oxford University. She wore actual pants to the event and her boobs weren’t hanging out, which was surprising. Katie said a bunch of stuff about how she works so hard to make millions of dollars for looking like a Barbie on steroids. Then she went on about the fact that little girls are getting plastic surgery and spray tans and starting to wear makeup so young. Her five year old daughter, Princess, has been seen with makeup and false eyelashes, but that’s different. Price also said that the sexualization of children started with Britney Spear’s “Hit Me Baby” video. Really.

Katie, 33, is “disgusted” by recent trends including beauty parlours offering toddler tanning and pre-teen makeovers.

She says: “It is disgusting. I don’t agree with it at all. I think surgeons and mums who encourage these young girls to have cosmetic work done, or have fake false boobs, should be shot.

“It’s horrible when you see these pictures of young children wearing make-up, having fake tans and so on. It’s sad.”

Katie’s comments come 48 hours after Prime Minister David Cameron met internet industry representatives to discuss how to stop youngsters accessing pornography online. It is something she strongly agrees with.

Of course, it is a shock to hear the surgically-enhanced, knicker-flashing, heavily made-up star come over all Mary Whitehouse. After all, she has made over £30million marketing her sexy alter ego, Jordan. And you only have to look at the fans who flock to her book signings to realise she’s the poster girl for a generation of fame-hungry youngsters.

So can this really be the same Katie who enraged ex-hubby Peter Andre with a Facebook shot of their daughter Princess, then two, in full slap and false eyelashes?

Am I talking to the same doting mum who bought her little girl 100 pairs of shoes before she could even walk, straightened her curly hair and now uses Princess to model her kids’ clothing range online? Yep.

But Katie is adamant she has done nothing wrong. No, blame Britney Spears instead.

“That photo of Princess wearing make-up was from my sister’s Facebook page and was never meant to be made public,” she says.

“It was a one-off and I didn’t approve it. But Princess loves all that girlie stuff. She and her friends are always raiding my make-up bag, trying on my heels, trying to find new things. I think all little girls are like this. I don’t encourage her – it’s quite the opposite. I tell her, ‘Do as I say, not as I do’.

“Yes, she had her hair straightened. She begged me to do it. I think people assume I’m there every day, irons at the ready, when she comes out the bath, wanting to straighten her hair. I’m not! It makes me mad. Everyone blow dries their little girl’s hair and that’s all I do – dry it and brush it the way she likes it.

“If Princess said, ‘Mummy, I want to have fake boobs’, I would say, ‘No’. Of course I wouldn’t let her. It’s sick, it’s just wrong.”

The over-sexualisation of children is a subject close to Katie’s heart. At the age of six she was in a park with her friend when “some weirdo” indecently exposed himself and inappropriately touched them.

It has clearly left some deep-seated emotional scars.

She continues: “It makes me really sad to think about childhoods nowadays. I was a tomboy when I was growing up, climbing up trees or whatever – innocent stuff.

“When you look at young girls at senior school today, they’re wearing the shortest skirts and all trying to look like Britney.

“So I suppose maybe that’s where it all started – with Britney’s Hit Me Baby video, with her running around in that school uniform.

“I think the pop industry has always encouraged this kind of thing, though.

“Kids see these girls dressed in this provocative manner and want to copy them. It makes me angry, but it sells.

“To people who accuse me of in any way contributing to this over-sexualisation of kids, I say, ‘What have I done sexually, or otherwise?’ I don’t sleep around and I love being in relationships – I’m not interested in dating loads of guys or having one-night stands. And what have I done with Princess that’s so wrong? What have I done generally?”

For someone who clearly has a lot to say for herself, Katie was uncharacteristically lost for words when she addressed the Oxford Union yesterday. Her speech lasted just eight minutes before she dried up.

Katie, who wore a cream top, shiny leggings and black boots, admitted: “I’m absolutely petrified. I don’t really know what to say.”

Describing herself as a “rich chav” and “common as muck” she told her “posh” audience: “You are our future in here. You must be so intelligent, so brainy and fascinating to be around. I bet hanging out with you lot I’d actually learn a lot.” And she got a few laughs, when she added: “I wouldn’t like to play Trivial Pursuit with you.”

It was another side to Katie, who has had five boob jobs and whose nights out are rarely quiet affairs.

That “do as I say, not as I do” argument never works. This is a woman who is famous for having her enormous fake tits hanging out and for wearing so much makeup, self tanner and fake hair that she looks like a real doll. It’s “disgusting” to her that moms are subjecting their daughters to the same treatment she regularly showcases on the red carpet, and it’s all Britney Spears’ fault. Oh and she’s holding a reality show contest in which people strip down to their bikinis and try to earn entry into a “boot camp” where they get to learn to be just like her. (It’s a flop in the ratings, thankfully.) That’s totally different and so less harmful to kids than Britney Spears dancing around in a sexy schoolgirl outfit in a video from 1998.

Teen Mom’s Amber Portwood has been a trainwreck from day one. She’s abused her daughter’s father on camera – twice. She’s lost custody of her daughter, she’s had a suicide attempt, and she’s been in rehab. She’s also she’s been in jail and two of her ex boyfriends also happened to be ex cons. As I’ve mentioned here several times, one of my main issues with Teen Mom is that the girls are shown financially struggling on the show, but that they make very good money behind the scenes. Well Amber’s brother posted a new blog entry calling out MTV for just that, and explaining how his sister got the job in the first place.

For those of you who are wondering whether or not I said everything that was in Life & Style magazine, I will tell you yes and no. Really I did not say anything that no one already knew. Second, the editor of the magazine called me and asked me to either confirm or deny what other sources were saying. Unfortunately this time I confirmed. I love Amber very much but she has changed considerably since she was “16 and Pregnant.” See, back then she was barely making a few hundred dollars a month for doing the show. She was the same person that I had always known her as growing up. As the years went by her salary gradually went up higher and higher. This is because MTV associates are a bunch of sadistic assholes who continued to lure her in with more money as an incentive to stay on the show. Over time a few hundred dollars a month turned into tens of thousands. During this time she also gradually changed. She lost her way and became someone else. She is over-dramatic and thinks of herself as an A-list celebrity.

I personally believe that these little blackout spells that she has is just a cry for help and a way to go back to where everyone will do everything for her, Seasons. It makes me sick to know that so many people look up to individuals on MTV. They are/were people just like you who only got on TV to exploit themselves and act like dumb asses. Let me tell you a story about how Amber got on the show. My ex-wife tried to sign us up for a show called “Engaged and Underage.” They called me and told me that they wanted to film us. I told them that we were already married and they said, “that’s fine.” They wanted to do a special with us. Get married and then turn around and tell our families that we had been married for over four months at the time. I told them that they were not going to make a mockery out of my life. I wish Amber would have had the same mentality as me. When I deployed to Iraq in 2007 Amber found out that she was going to have a little girl. Of course, MTV called my ex and said, “hey, we are doing a show called 16 and pregnant, know anyone who would be a good candidate.” So they got Amber’s name. Had I been home I would have told her just how sadistic MTV was. When I came home on mid-tour leave I found out that she was not only pregnant but that she was also going to be on a MTV show. This made me furious because I knew it would ruin her life. Fast forward to today and we can all see that Amber is a complete train wreck. Most of you might say that it is Amber’s fault because she signed up for the show. I would agree, slightly. MTV is slowly ruining her life day by day and they do not care for one reason, ratings. Now Leah has a dysfunctional mother because she wants to live the lifestyle of the rich and famous. My last point that I wish to make is this. If you are making $15,000 plus a months then why even have a show about struggling mothers. None of them are struggling yet they are forced to say they are. This is no longer a show about how hard it is to be a mother. Instead it is a show about how one can go from being broke as hell to have a shit ton of money for simply having a kid. Now there is going to be a season 4. They are not even TEENS anymore. Call it something else like, spoiled snotty rich inconsiderate hateful bitchy mothers who make thousands for spreading their legs. End of story.

I heard the creator of Teen Mom on NPR’s Talk of the Nation this summer. I was really fired up about the way she completely dismissed the money issue in regards to how the moms are portrayed. I pulled my car over and sent an e-mail to them asking about it, but this was the only thing that creator Lauren Dolgen said about the fact that the stars make over a quarter of a million a season, but are shown trying to make ends meet on the show:

“Yeah, we don’t really disclose what our casts get paid, but the girls are compensated… You know, I think all of the girls will have struggles with or without the money they get from the show. You know, they have to raise a child, and they – you know, that costs a lot of money. And they have to raise themselves, too.” – NPR

Bullsh*t, right? MTV is portraying a fake reality and then acting like there’s no problem with it. That’s pretty much what they always do, but they’re tried to act like Teen Mom is some kind of documentary and a cautionary tale for kids who want to get pregnant. It’s just showing the stars, and countless viewers, how to be reality stars. I’m glad Amber’s brother called them out. I doubt his sister would be any more together if she wasn’t on Teen Mom, though. She’d just be broke.

Also, re-read this part of Shawn’s entry “MTV called my ex and said, “hey, we are doing a show called 16 and pregnant, know anyone who would be a good candidate.” So they got Amber’s name. Had I been home I would have told her just how sadistic MTV was. When I came home on mid-tour leave I found out that she was not only pregnant but that she was also going to be on a MTV show.” Does it suggest that Amber got pregnant to be on the show, or just that she was already pregnant and that Shawn’s fiance gave MTV her name? Maybe Shawn doesn’t even know.

I know we’ve covered the Beyonce Baby Bump Conspiracy story quite a bit, but I thought Wendy Williams’ take on it was funny and I wanted to mention it. Yesterday Kaiser laid out her theories as to what was going on with Beyonce’s collapsible bump. She basically thinks Beyonce is actually pregnant, but that she’s padding her stomach for attention. I’m not sure whether Beyonce is pregnant or not, even taking into account the bikini photos. I’ve never seen a pregnant woman’s stomach fold over like that, and it didn’t look like fabric bunching to me, it looked like a pillow folding. Wendy Williams agreed, and on her show she had two pregnant staffers, one that was due in February like Beyonce, sit down to show that what happened to Beyonce’s stomach was not natural at all. She claimed on one hand that Beyonce was probably actually pregnant, but then seemed to suggest that she was faking it.

Wendy: When she sat down the baby bump squashed, crumpled and folded… she’s either giving birth to a frisbee or Stewie from Family Guy… What is that? Is that a baby bump? [When I was pregnant] I wouldn’t be able to sit like that.

[Shows Beyonce's bikini photo] Then I’m pregnant too… Girls come on, we all get this. I’m not saying that she’s not pregnant there… that proves absolutely nothing to me.

I would like to believe that Beyonce is really pregnant. I don’t like to believe that people play around with pregnancy. I’ve had so many miscarriages…

Here are some alleged conspiracy theories:
- The baby is helping Beyonce’s sagging recording career.
- Beyonce’s pregnancy is a way of keeping Jay-Z’s alleged mistress away
- The alleged woman over in Trinidad with [Jay's] alleged 10 year-old son, Beyonce is trying to keep up with her.
- How about this? This is the most disgusting one. Beyonce is going to use a surrogate so she can maintain her body.
- Here’s that is even more disgusting. They’re adopting, but they’re going to play it off like they gave birth.

Watch, it’s going to be an at home water birth there’s going to be three people there. Beyonce, Jay-Z and her mother…

Beyonce come on you’re not like that are you? You know how some of these celebrities can be though. Anything for attention.

I love how Wendy called those theories “disgusting” but then kind of cosigned them toward the end.

The Daily Beast has an article written by three female doctors who declare that by viewing the video in question, in their opinion as doctors not treating Beyonce, she “looks appropriately pregnant at this point.” They float the theory that a lot of you have mentioned that “Perhaps when she bent over, her dress simply became looser, giving the appearance that her belly was shifting.” That was a lot of loose fabric that didn’t seem to be in the dress when she was walking.
