I’ve given up feeling at all sorry for Demi Moore and am instead kind of baffled. She keeps pushing this “hot” image when it’s clear that she’s frail and feeling understandably hurt after her husband so publicly cheated on her. As Kaiser has mentioned, Demi should be trying to present an image of a “confident, capable woman of means and maturity,” only she’s not that person and she’s going to go hunting for another dude to make her feel hot again. Her PR people are going to tell us about it too. The last we heard about 49 year-old Demi’s lovelife she was spotted out with a 26 year-old model/personal trainer. I was hoping the guy was just training Demi, but she was seen going to his car outside a Rite Aid, which proves nothing I guess. Well now Demi has been linked to some idiot musician of indeterminate age, with a source claiming that she’s “getting very close to him” and that he “wants to get her to record a track with him.” The “source” also touts how “hot” Demi is, which we’ve heard many times before from anonymous “sources” who spot her out and note how “hot” she is.

Has Demi Moore moved on to a hot new cub?

That’s the word in music circles, where the soon-to-be ex-Mrs. Kutcher is rumored to be texting up a storm with hot Canadian musician Ricky J.

“Demi and Ricky have been getting very flirty recently,” a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com. “Ricky thinks she’s really hot, and Demi seems to be loving the attention.”

Ricky, best known for his hit single, No Means No, is currently in Los Angeles and working on getting a date with the 49-year-old gorgeous actress, and not just for social reasons.

“Ricky wants to get her to record a track with him,” the source says. “Demi has actually got a great voice, and it helps that she is super, super hot too!”

Here’s what I’m hoping is the origin of this story: this terrible rapper “Ricky J” wants some publicity and is releasing this completely fake story to Radar Online about a non-existent texting relationship with Demi Moore. The reason I think it’s a fake story is because Ricky J. is old enough not to be a “cub” to Demi, but instead they use an old photo of him and never mention how old he is. Given J.Lo’s latest boyfriend, I wouldn’t be surprised if Demi likes this guy, though. She’s gone through some rough times and she needs someone to tell her she’s “hot” and “gorgeous.” Just getting the press to repeat it over and over isn’t enough for her.

Look at the video for this douche’s “hit single”, “No Means No,” it’s incredibly bad. Commenters are calling it the “date rape national anthem.” This song came out in 2001 and he looks at least 20, so he’s at least 30 something now. That’s an improvement for Demi.

Earlier this month, footage came out on Toddlers and Tiaras of six year-old pageant contestant, Alana Holler, aka “Honey Boo Boo Child,” sipping an unknown beverage that her mom called “Go Go Juice” to rev up for competition. (A video of that is below.) The mom explained that she tried to use Pixy Stix, known as “pageant crack,” with Alana but that it didn’t work to give her enough energy to perform. The situation looked more abusive than typical pageant prep in that a child was potentially drinking something spiked. Later the mom defended herself by using the old “it could be worse” argument. Mom June Holler said “I didn’t do anything to hurt her. There are far worse things that I can do to my kid.” She went on to say she basically didn’t care what people said about her, which is obviously true if she’s pushing her child into pageants in the first place.

Well June and little Alana went on the Dr. Drew show, and discussed the controversial issue of the “Go Go Juice.” They brought some along for Dr. Drew to try and he acted like he was affected by it, but he was obviously playing it up. He claimed that his tongue felt thick, he felt hot, and said he was “starting to lose it.”

Little Alana and her mom explained that the Go Go Juice was “energy drink and a caffeine drink.” When I first saw the clip from Toddlers & Tiaras I thought the girl was just drinking Mountain Dew, but it’s really Mountain Dew and Red Bull. Can you imagine giving that to your kid? I saw an episode of Dr. Oz where they talked about the dangers of drinking too much Red Bull, which can be addicting and harmful to your health. This lady is giving Red Bull to her kid all the time. Mom of the freaking year.

It’s been well established that scenes and plotlines are fabricated for “Kourtney and Kim Take New York.” They’re trying to make Kim out to be a sentient human being instead of the narcissistic impulse-driven cartoon cut out that her quest for fame, Botox and cash have turned her into. It’s not working at all and their efforts are transparent and fun to mock. On Sunday’s episode we got to see Kim crying to faux psychic medium John Edward about how hard her marriage has been. Edward comes up with a bunch of crap about the family that could be gleaned in five minute google searches and Kim gets all emotional when he brings up divorce. On Sunday’s part one of Kourtney & Kim Take New York’s season finale, Kim Kardashian admitted she didn’t “want to be married anymore” to Kris Humphries, essentially putting to an end their 72-day marriage.

The sexy socialite came to the realization when she and sister Kourtney had a session with celebrity medium John Edward, who said he could reach their late father, famed O.J. Simpson attorney Robert Kardashian.

After the subject turned to divorce, Kim told sister Kourtney, “What was so crazy about that was when he was talking about the divorce stuff. I honestly feel like I can’t do this anymore with Kris — I don’t want to be married anymore — I feel like I got into this way too fast … you know, I’m not happy.”

 (Edward not only sensed stormy relationship waters, but Kourtney’s bun in the oven as well, asking the famous sisters, “I know you just got married [Kim] and I have to say this: Is somebody pregnant now?”

Another point of tension Sunday was Kris’s failure to tell Kim his sister Kayla, was visiting; in turn, Kim avoided the plus-size model to save her from the drama.

Kim said in an off-camera interview she felt uncomfortable around Kayla because of the friction between she and Kris: “I’m having such a rough time with him that it’s hard to let another one of his family members into my heart. 

”It’s better for all of us if I keep my distance from Kayla so she doesn’t catch wind that there’s tension,” Kim said.

Kim also went on Regis & Kelly “Live! With Kelly” this morning, and she denied that she got married or divorced for money. She gave just about the same answer she always does – she wanted a fairy tale, she wanted to be a wife and mother so badly. She never owns up to her mistakes and always deflects criticism.

“I think me being such a hopeless romantic I wanted to believe in something so badly.

“If this was a business decision and I really made all that money that everyone claimed we made from the wedding and it was just for TV, I’m a smart businesswoman, I would have stayed married longer. This is a bad business decision, do you know what I mean?

“If you really think about it, it doesn’t make sense that everyone says that. I really didn’t think that following my heart would create this much backlash.”

Ripa later said that the first year of marriage can be difficult and questioned Kardashian on why she hadn’t opted to stick it out for a little longer.

“I definitely tried everything I felt like I could, but I would also hear stories of people who had kids and started this life and stayed married for years and it ended up not working out,” replied Kardashian. “I just felt like if I don’t feel in my heart this is right then why wait years to have the same result?”

What great logic this woman has. She couldn’t have been making a business decision to marry Kris and then divorce him, because her image took such a hit, even though she didn’t anticipate it happening at all. And according to Kim she probably would have gotten divorced anyway since people inevitably have problems in relationships and she’s incapable of thinking of anyone except herself, so why bother at all? It’s just not worth it to work to have kids and a family in Kim’s world. It’s all about the Kash. Maybe if she’d known just how much it would end up costing her, she would have stuck it out with Kris.

I just love the part at :55 in when she says in a completely flat affect and nasally tone “There’s a lot that I have been going through, like emotionally and mentally. That I really think I’ll find comfort in connecting with my dad again?” Then she disses her then-husband Kris to her friend because Kris hasn’t lost anyone close to him and can’t possibly understand what it’s like.

I’m excited that we have new photos of lap-hopping Cameron Diaz, as I’ve been waiting to comment on her new look. (Kaiser is sick today or she would definitely be covering this.) We saw Cameron premiere her new shaggy crop-cut hair at the Golden Globes parties, where she was seen macking all over attached Diddy and generally looking a mess. I didn’t like her new look, which also seemed to include some new boobies. It’s like she got a new hairstyle to try to distract us from her recent implants, which are tasteful and not too big but still noticeable. (It’s also possible she had fat transfer done to her breasts. I’ve been hearing about that a lot lately and the result is the same kind of subtle difference that we’ve seen in Cameron.)

Cameron was spotted at Paris Fashion Week this morning in this stunning A-line black checked dress paired with a simple skinny belt and elegant jacket. I love her gladiator shoes too. Cameron looks amazing with her hair pulled back and pinned up like that. She looks a little “refreshed” too, as if she’s had a smidgen of something done but not too much. (Just like her new boobs.) It could just be her perfectly applied makeup though. She looks lovely I have to say. The shape of that dress is slightly unflattering, but the belt cinches it in. I really love this look on her. Cameron looks good and she knows it. (Update: Cam wore this to the Dior show, so it’s safe to assume she’s in Dior.)

Yesterday Cameron was at the Versace show with Diane Kruger. (Photos are below.) She wore her hair in a kind of poof style that isn’t as pretty as it is here. This style is more softening for her.

Can you imagine getting paid and having clothes lent to you to show up at events like this? You would have people like us picking apart your every move, but Cameron doesn’t seem to care. I admire that about her. The downside is that she ends up with guys like A-Rod and Diddy.

Update: Oh we do have those photos of Cameron outside the Versace show yesterday. Compare her slightly trashy but fashion-forward look in Versace to how classic and pretty she looks above. She’s also looking tweaked to me in these photos. Her legs are so killer.

Jim Carrey’s 24 year-old daughter, Jane, was shown auditioning for American Idol in San Diego, the episode for which aired last night. Jane explained in a taped video segment that she is “a mom first, a waitress on and off and a musician.” She said that she’s “been singing for as long as I can remember” and that she’s a big ham. Well it seems to run in her family. As for how it was growing up with Jim Carrey as her father she said he’s “definitely not the most extravagant celebrity so it’s been fairly normal.” Jim was married to Jane’s mom, his first wife Melissa Womer, from 1987 to 1995. Jim and Melissa divorced when Jane was eight. (Then Jim married Lauren Holly for a hot minute in 1996.) Jane explained that she came on Idol to “make my place in the world” and that she doesn’t want people to think her success comes from her famous dad.

Jane sang a brief segment of “Something to Talk About” and she was competent and showed potential but she wasn’t amazing. I don’t think she would have gotten through to the next round if it wasn’t for her famous dad. Here’s more and there’s a video below.

Jim Carrey’s daughter Jane Carrey was among the hopefuls at the San Diego round of American Idol auditions.

Jane, 24, told viewers that she had been singing for as long as she could remember and that her famous father knew that she planned to audition for the Fox singing competition.

“It was definitely fun growing up with him as a father,” she said. “He’s definitely not the most extravagant celebrity so it’s been fairly normal. Fairly!”

Jane added: “The last name definitely helps and hurts. I feel like there is this pressure to maybe be better. If I make it somewhere it runs the risk of people saying, ‘You’re only here because of this’.”

Judge Jennifer Lopez immediately remembered Jane from when she had worked with Jim Carrey several years ago, saying that Jane had only been a baby at the time and jokingly lamenting where the years had gone.

Jane chose to perform ‘Something To Talk About’ as her audition song, earning three yeses from Lopez, Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson.

Randy liked her voice and potential, while Jennifer thought she needed to think more about her ‘performance’ because keeping her eyes shut might be good for the feeling but didn’t help with audience connection.

Steven liked Jane’s melody but told her to work on the volume.

After receiving her ticket to Hollywood, Jane phoned her famous dad who said: “She’s so wonderful and amazing to me, I can’t wait for the world to see… This is going to be an exciting year.”

Jane is a talented singer and she seemed sweet and like she was genuine about succeeding on her own merits. I don’t see her going too far on Idol, but we’ll see.

My favorite part of this video is where Jennifer Lopez says she met Jane when Jane was two and just a baby on the set of “In Living Color,” where Jim Carrey got his start and J.Lo was a backup dancer/”Fly Girl.” Lopez’s boyfriend Casper Smart is the same age as Jane, 24. I’m sure that didn’t occur to J.Lo when she told that story.

Over the weekend, Vanessa Hudgens was papped in a bikini while frolicking at the beach with her latest boyfriend, Austin Butler. The whole thing is so obviously posed, and one gets the feeling that she’s got the paps on speed dial. Vanessa certainly has a history of releasing photos when it suits her career to do so. Everyone remembers those infamous 2007 nude cell phone shots that Vanessa took of herself during her High School Musical days that somehow (oops!) ended up in the hands of the public. Then last March, Vanessa feigned outrage at a conveniently released set of nude photos that surfaced right ahead of Bandslam although that little “mistake” didn’t exactly pay off at the box office. Still, racy photos are her go-to move, so she shall not be deterred for long.

Now Vanessa’s got a new movie — Journey 2: The Mysterious Island — which also stars one of Vanessa’s ex-lovers, Josh Hutcherson, coming out on February 10. While we haven’t seen any top-secret cell phone photos yet (but there’s still time for that), Vanessa has taken to the beach for some strategically staged photos in and out of the water with poor, unaware Austin:

Since being reunited in Hawaii earlier this week, Vanessa Hudgens and her boyfriend Austin Butler haven’t been able to keep their hands off each other.

And it was no different yesterday, as the couple put on yet another public display of affection in the waters of Hawaii.

The two tanned actors splashed around the water and watched the sun set after going kayaking together.

This is the third straight day the love birds have frolicked in the surf and shared a steamy kiss in public.

Their affectionate displays have left onlookers with no doubt as to who has Vanessa ‘s heart now.

It’s been a whirlwind week for the brunette beauty who was in Australia last Sunday with former boyfriend Josh Hutcherson promoting their new movie Journey 2: The Mysterious Island.

Journey 2: The Mysterious Island centres around a woman and her boyfriend on a mission to find his grandfather, who is thought to be missing on a mythical island.

It co-stars Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson who was brought in to replace Brendan Fraser who starred in the last instalment titled Journey to the Center of the Earth.

The action-adventure will hit theatres in the US on Friday, February 10.

Well, let’s not completely jump to conclusions here. Perhaps Vanessa just happened to plan a beach vacation for this weekend well in advance of knowing the date for Journey 2‘s premiere date. Or maybe she just got a lark and decided to go to the beach and show off her cute booty for no reason at all. I mean, she’s got a really cute booty that must be very difficult to hide.

Still, something about this screams “Look at me in a bikini! Look at my beautiful boyfriend! Go see my movie now, okay?” Eh, the movie’s going to do well anyway regardless of whether Vanessa’s showing off her great figure or not. As the sequel to Journey to the Center of the Earth, which was a hell of a lot of fun and grossed $241 million worldwide, Journey 2 already had a head start at success even before the casting process began. As a bonus, the filmmakers have swapped out Brendan Fraser with Dwayne Johnson. Slurp!

Talk about leaking a story late on Friday for the least coverage. TMZ is reporting that Heidi Klum, 38, is about to file divorce from Seal, 48, after nearly seven years of marriage and four children together. (Three of whom are Seal’s, he adopted Heidi’s daughter from a previous relationship.) I’ve sometimes thought that Heidi and Seal aren’t as solid as they’ve seemed, as I get suspicious when couples seem to constantly tout how great their relationship is. Still, this is surprising and sad news. These two really did seem like they would be together until very late in life. Here’s TMZ’s report:

Heidi Klum will file for divorce from Seal … TMZ has learned.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ … Heidi will file divorce papers in L.A. County Superior Court as early as next week. We’re told Heidi will cite “irreconcilable differences” as the cause for the divorce.

The couple married May 10, 2005. They have 3 biological kids. Seal adopted Heidi’s eldest girl from a prior relationship.

The couple is famous for renewing their vows every year on their anniversary … in a lavish ceremony.

As for splitting up the goodies, there’s a lot on the line. According to Forbes, in the last year alone, Klum raked in $20 million. It’s unclear how much Seal made.

Heidi attended last Sunday’s Golden Globes without Seal. The last photo she tweeted with him was back on December 26.

Radar reports that Seal was last seen with Heidi on January 7, and that he “was spotted alone Friday at L.A.X.” People reached out to their reps and have not heard back yet.

Seal was touring with his band throughout 2011 and will be touring in February and again in December of this year. He has a new album coming out at the end of this month. Was it the distance and the professional commitments that ate away at their relationship, or are we about to hear about one of them finding another partner while the other was away?

Kaiser reminded me that Heidi has been pregnant almost throughout her entire marriage. She met Seal when she was pregnant with her daughter Leni, now 7, and then they had Henry, 6, Johan, 5, and Lou, 2. In November, 2009, Seal adopted Leni, and then Heidi took Seal’s last name, Samuel, in December, 2009. (She still goes by Klum professionally.) Maybe the stress of having young kids got to them like so many other couples. I’ve seen photos of the family out with one nanny per each child, and Heidi has admitted that they have three nannies “two on at a time,” so it’s not like they’re dealing with the same reality as other families. Heidi kind of hinted at issues taking care of all their children. She told US in August that “it’s a huge responsibility to have four kids.” It must have been even harder for her with Seal away on tour. This is very sad news, especially for their children. I’m hoping it’s either not true or that they’ll try to work it out. Maybe they have been trying for some time and have been keeping it under wraps.

I’m just posting these so I can make fun of Kate Gosselin’s ridiculous outfit. It’s like she thinks we’re all magpies and she can distract us from her face by wearing that shiny short dress. You know she thinks she looks hot in that number with her boltons standing at attention and her fake hair blown out. At least she didn’t pair it with lucite stripper heels. She probably considers this look sexy but demure. Extra! hasn’t posted their fascinating Kate Gosselin interview yet so we don’t know what she was promoting, but she does have a job as a coupon website spokesperson and we just heard that she’s hosting a cruise. It’s a really bad time for that. The spokesperson for Royal Caribbean claims that the tickets for the one week western Caribbean Cruise, which takes place in August, have been selling well and they’ve been “getting a lot of enquiries about singles” hoping to attend. That sounds like hype from Kate’s camp. Tickets sell for $1,900 to $5,500 a person, which seems steep for that type of cruise. If you take that exact same cruise without the Kate Gosselin option it’s hundreds cheaper of course.

Along those same lines is this new story from the Enquirer claiming that Kate is hoping to find a “sugar daddy” on that cruise. She probably wants to find someone who will put up with her whom she doesn’t have to pay:

While she desparately needs the paycheck, sources say her true motive for taking the job is to meet a man, preferably one with money.

“Kate’s plan is to hook up with as many halfway decent men as she can sink her claws into during the seven-day voyage,” revealed a source.

And according to another insider, she’s keeping her options open.

“Kate’s being open-minded about who she may meet. But she’d love to find some deep-pocketed sugar daddy types – even an old geezer – because they can hire nannies to keep up with her brood!”

Good luck with that. Obviously the bodyguard she’s sleeping with is still around so her money must not have dried up yet. I guess we’ll know if she’s serious about landing a new man if she shows up to the cruise without him. Also whatever she did to her face seems to have settled enough for her bitchface to come out again, not that it ever really went away.

We heard from the world’s most famous transgender man Chaz Bono earlier this month that he was hoping to raise the money to complete his transition and surgically get a male part. Chaz went on in a Rolling Stone interview about his options for being more authentic down there, and I’ll spare you the details but whatever route he goes it will be expensive. He estimated that it would cost between $25,000 and $45,000 and said he was saving up the money for it. Well Chaz’s famous mom Cher supposedly offered to pay for it and Chaz said “no.” These two have been at odds since Chaz broke it off with his fiancee, Jennifer Elia, and Chaz doesn’t want to take a handout.

After her nasty blowup with son Chaz Bono over his breakup with fiancee Jennifer Elia, devastated mom Cher’s frantic to make up with her… offspring – so she offered to gift him with the surgically constructed penis he so desperately desires! “Cher hates being at odds with Chaz – she only wants the best for him,” says a sourec. “But almost everything she says makes him angry, which finally triggered the fight to end all fights, when she told him that Jennifer had never loved him. Chaz stormed out, saying he never wants to see his mom again. But Chaz has publicly stated that he wants to make his gender transformation complete by opting for surgery to construct a penis – so in an effort to mend fences, Cher has offered to pay docs the estimated $50,000-plus it will cost to buy the penis…”

I like to think that I would be accepting and loving if one of my kids told me they were born the wrong gender, but I don’t know if I’d be accepting enough to actually help them with the transition. It would really depend on the circumstances. Cher has admitted that she struggled with it when Chaz made the transition to male. How hard must it have been for her to offer to pay for her onetime daughter to get a penis? Chaz has shown himself to be a pompous, humorless ass lately. I’m primarily talking about how he responded to his critics on DWTS, and how he is rumored to have handled his breakup. I’m not surprised he denied his mother’s offer. He’s only screwing himself out of a penis by being so stubborn about it. Still, just because I don’t like Chaz doesn’t mean I should judge. If Cher is telling him his girlfriend never loved him I don’t blame him for not wanting to deal with her. Family sh*t can be complicated. Also, this is one of the most momentous changes in his life and there’s surely a lot of pride involved in knowing he paid for it himself.

Paula Deen was all over the place yesterday making the announcement that she has type 2 diabetes and is the new spokeswoman for a diabetes treatment from Novo Nordisk. On the Today Show, Paula admitted that she was diagnosed with the metabolic disorder three years ago, and defended her decision to delay the announcement. Al Roker asked her why she took so long to tell everyone about her diagnosis and she said that she waited because she had “nothing to give to my friends out there.” She meant that she had nothing to market to her audience. As for whether the incredibly unhealthy food she cooks has anything to do with her disorder, she was cagey and said “certainly Al, that is part of the puzzle, but there’s many other things that can lead to diabetes. Certainly genetics, certainly your life style, certainly what you eat, certainly stress. And last but not least is age.” Then she went on to talk about baby boomers and launch yet another pitch for her diabetes program.

One of Paula’s biggest detractors, fellow celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain, has weighed in on this story. He initially gave a kind of measured response in an interview with Eater.com, wondering aloud how long she’s known about it. He was wrong that she wasn’t going to own up to knowing about it for three years though:

What’s your take on Paula Deen supposedly announcing that she has Diabetes and that she landed a multimillion-dollar deal to be the spokeswoman for a pharmaceutical company to endorse a drug she’s taking?
I feel bad. But this entire weekend people have been calling looking for quotes. I guess it’s a moderate interest. I mean, how long has she known?

It’s odd because she was on Dr. Oz last month, and she never mentioned diabetes. Instead she just owned up to smoking cigarettes for 50 years.
We can look forward to People or Us magazine running the cover story, “I’m back” usual rehab story private hell. Clearly this has been coming for a while. She’s been looking for ways to position herself. Is she really going to be selling the cure now? Or will she back off for a decent interval? I take no pleasure in it. There ain’t nothing funny about Diabetes.

When your signature dish is hamburger in between a doughnut, and you’ve been cheerfully selling this stuff knowing all along that you’ve got Type 2 Diabetes… It’s in bad taste if nothing else. How long has she known? I suspect a very long time. On Tuesday when she announces it, it’ll be to say I just got diagnosed… Al Roker won’t be asking her how long she’s known. I don’t think people will press that issue.

My previous opinion of Paula up to this point was neutral to positive. She sells this down home sweet image while making food that’s tasty but outrageously bad for you. Maybe it’s a gimmick, maybe she doesn’t really eat much of it herself as she claims. She seems to have eaten enough of it to have seriously affected her health. She’s obviously a smart businesswoman, and a crafty one too. The lady knows how to shill products and market herself, and she kept up the same unhealthy schtick until she had enough endorsements and deals lined up to make the transition into the next one.
