Just like Jesus! Only Joseph never went by “SoulEye”. Anyway, these are new photos of Alanis Morissette and her husband/baby-daddy Soul Eye (Mario Treadway). She’s really far along! I guess I haven’t been paying that much attention since she announced, but my guess is that Alanis is due within the next few months – oh, I just saw this, she‘s due around Christmas. She’s carrying very well, I think, and she looks so pretty and healthy. Alanis and Souleye just came back from a holiday, likely their “babymoon” – their second honeymoon before the baby comes and destroys their lives (joking). So that’s why Alanis and SoulEye look so tanned and relaxed and happy – they’ve been living it up in some tropical paradise!

Anyway, I know this is old news, but I wanted to use these new photos and I don’t think we reported this when it came out – Alanis is definitely having a boy:

This is one situation where feeling a little blue is acceptable. Singer Alanis Morissette celebrated her upcoming arrival with a baby shower this past weekend and it appears that the first time mother is going to be having a baby boy.

The private soiree was held at a friend’s house in Santa Monica, California and friends and family all arrived with gifts wrapped in blue, with one gift bag exclaiming ‘It’s a Boy!’ on the front.

Alanis, 36, looked stunning as she arrived for the party, covering her growing bump in a black lace dress.

The shower was attended by a group of approximately 25 friends and family. Even Mario ‘Souleye’ Treadway, Alanis’ husband was in attendance. Several hours into the celebrations, an assistant left the house carrying huge gift bags stuffed with presents – many of which were blue in colour. One even had ‘Baby Boy’ written on the front with pictures of trucks and boats, suggesting that Alanis and Mario have already revealed to their friends that their new arrival will be boy.

The assistant loaded the gifts into the happy couple’s car before returning inside the party. Some of the gifts included stuffed animals, a diaper bag and Baby Bjorn rucksack carrier. Alanis and Mario got married in May of this year after dating since 2009.

In August, whilst on the E! show Chelsea Lately, hosted by Chelsea Handler, Morrisette announced that she was five months pregnant with her first child. The baby is due around Christmas time.

CB thinks that Alanis is definitely going to name the kid something weird, but you never know. As someone with an unconventional name, she might decide to break the odd-name mold and go traditional. Of course, her husband does go by SoulEye… so anything could happen.

Mariah Carey has just confirmed her pregnancy! Mariah won’t reveal her due date, but does say that “it’s still early”. Mariah gave an extensive interview to Access Hollywood, which was then previewed on this morning’s Today show. She also said that two years ago, she had a miscarriage. Poor Mariah! It’s been talked about for months now, and finally Mariah Carey has come clean: She’s pregnant!

“Yes, we are pregnant. This is true,” Carey, 41, said on the Today show Thursday morning as part of a sneak peek at a three-part Access Hollywood interview. “It’s been a long journey. It’s been tough because I’ve been trying to hold on to a shred of privacy.”

Husband Nick Cannon, 30, joined the interview to talk about the “absolutely emotional” news, adding, “The greatest gift on earth is a child.”

Carey, who also told of a miscarriage two years ago, would not reveal her due date. She would only say “it’s still early” and “expecting is great.” Ever-supportive Cannon said of the loss, “It strengthened our relationship so much … she handled it so well.”

Two years ago, shortly after the couple’s secret wedding, Carey and Cannon were in Monte Carlo for the World Music Awards when Carey took a pregnancy test, and it turned out to be positive. “Only one person knew about this and we were like, um, ‘let’s not tell anybody else,’” Carey said.

A little more than a month later, she miscarried. “It was really sad so we had to just, we had really to absorb this and take it in,” Carey said. Cannon added, “And that’s what I said, like her strength would literally be during the day so festive and smiling obviously for cameras and spending time with everyone and you know, literally that night crying herself to sleep.”

The news, of course, won’t surprise those who have followed the couple’s coy references to pregnancy and babies over the past few months. Rumors flew as the expanding singer seemed to bloom a little more every week, and both Cannon and Carey have spoken about their desire for children.

In August, Carey fanned the flames by stepping out in Brazil wearing a maternity dress. She quickly addressed the ensuing frenzy, explaining she is “superstitious” about pregnancy and promising, “When the time is right, everyone will know.”

Days later, Cannon gushed about his wife’s motherly instincts, telling PEOPLE that “she’s very nurturing.” But not until now have they admitted they’re soon to welcome their own bundle of joy.

Now that the news is out, people will clamor to know the sex of the child. The couple wouldn’t say yet, but eventually Carey will cave, because she loves to decorate.

Sure, it’s a non-story. But I was just enjoying these photos of a pregnant Penelope Cruz leaving a London restaurant with her hot husband/baby-daddy Javier Bardem, and I thought I would pass them along. Unfortunately, for some reason, Javier was cut out of the photos we have access to (you can see some here, at The Daily Mail), but fortunately we have some other photos of Javi looking hot (below). Penelope is carrying very well, isn’t she? By my calculations, she’s late second trimester, maybe heading into her third trimester – People Magazine says she‘s due “in the winter.” She’s glowing!

It’s a dinner date! Penélope Cruz, husband Javier Bardem and sister Mónica Cruz proved there’s no such thing as a third-wheel when the trio stepped out at a London restaurant.

Cruz and company, decked out in coordinated black outfits, were spotted at the members-only Groucho Club Tuesday night.

The Pirates of the Caribbean actress, 36, who is expecting her first child in the winter, bared her baby bump during the meal, and is currently in the U.K. to film the adventure movie.

When Javi did an interview last month, he confirmed Penelope’s pregnancy and said “It is true. I am very happy.” He also said they hadn’t decided on a name for the hot Spanish baby yet. Well, Mariah Carey still hasn’t really confirmed that she’s carrying a baby, but I think at this point, most of us are in agreement – Mariah is knocked up. How far along she is, and the gender of the baby is still in question. Fortunately, there is a very talkative “insider” who ran to Hollywood Life to dish about babies and due dates. Allegedly, Mariah is expecting a boy, and she’s due in March:

“She’s having a boy, but the reason that Mariah didn’t want to say anything is because she is 40, and she’s superstitious,” the insider says. “But she’s going to appear on Oprah and The View, so she’s planning on making the announcement soon.”

The insider says that the couple are over the moon about their impending arrival but “they haven’t decided whether they’ll raise the baby in New York or Los Angeles.” They are currently living in Nick’s LA home while renovations are being done on the former Bel Air home of Farrah Fawcett that Mariah bought last year for $7 million. The 11,750 square feet home has five bedrooms — plenty of room for a nursery and a giant closet for Mariah!

Mariah took fertility drugs to get pregnant, according to the insider, who says, “the fertility drugs were the reason for her weight gain earlier this year.” She has also given up drinking alcohol — “she stopped drinking back in March or April this year,” the source says.

While we would have loved to see the Hello Kitty wardrobe that Mariah’s daughter would wear, we’re excited that she’s expecting a little boy — and can’t wait to see her little lamb! Congrats, Mariah and Nick!

Okay, I’m chuckling a little bit. Because everyone was talking about A) Mariah’s weight gain and B) How she showed up drunk to several events during the awards season. Of course, the awards season was over in the beginning of March… so it’s possible that Mariah was living it up and drinking champagne at all of those events as her last baby-less hurrah. Totally possible. And I do buy that Mariah gained weight because of fertility treatments – and I have no judgement about it either. I just hope Mariah and the baby are healthy and happy. Congratulations Mariah! I hope you announce it on Oprah, just because that would be so much fun! Oprah will FREAK OUT.

Star Magazine has another dumb pregnancy story about Angelina Jolie. Apparently, someone caught a photo of her in Budapest when she wasn’t wearing that huge fluffy parka, and they saw a “bump.” I looked through the many photos of Jolie over the past few weeks, and I don’t really see anything in the bump area, although in a few shots her boobs look slightly bigger. But that’s not the point. The point is that Angelina is totally pregnant and Star Magazine can tell because Brad is being is really nice to her. You know, because there are photos of them kissing this week, so people aren’t going to buy that Brad is still making sad, drunken calls to Jennifer Aniston’s womb, I guess. Unless Brad was just kissing Angelina in between making dirty sexts to the gerbils.

Guess who else is pregnant but not really? Angelina Jolie. There’s even a patented picture of her abdomen with an arrow and the word “baby bump.” Of course, the editors cover their asses by adding a question mark. But a source says: “Brad has been strutting around like a proud peacock with a big grin on his face.” And the mag claims that’s why Brad and Angie have been so lovey-dovey: “When Angie is pregnant, Brad treats her like gold.”

It used to be that we would tell girls that could get pregnant by sitting on a wet towel. Now we tell girls that they could pregnant if a boy is nice to them, I guess. Anyway, I guess that the new tabloid rule is for every ten stories about Brad and Angelina splitting up, you’ve got to throw in one about a pregnancy or adoption. What’s also weird is that I would totally buy the idea of another Jolie-Pitt pregnancy, but because it’s Star, I don’t.

She’s not. Just FYI. Catherine Zeta Jones is not pregnant, and once you get to read this little excerpt, it’s such a dumb, unbelievable non-story, it’s a little ridiculous. According to Star’s sources, Catherine, who is…um… 41 years old (LMAO), really wants to have a “baby” with her husband Michael Douglas. Nevermind that Catherine and Michael already have two “babies” – their daughter Carys, who is 7 years old, and Dylan, who is 10 years old. Nevermind that Catherine is probably just concentrating on Michael’s treatment and health. No, let’s make it all about BABIES.

Just to play devil’s advocate, I wouldn’t be terribly shocked to learn that Michael perhaps saved some… uh… love juice. Like, maybe before he started chemo, he just decided to freeze some for a rainy day, and maybe he told Catherine that if she wanted it, she could have it. Other than that, I’ve got nothing.

Take the news with a grain of salt, but Us Weekly’s sources are claiming that Beyonce and Jay-Z are expecting their first child together. If I had a nickel for every random “Bey is preggers” rumor, I’d have… like, 30 cents. There are at least two big rumors every year, and I remember earlier this year, the urban blogs were claiming that it was a sure thing and it wasn’t. Beyonce also gave yet another interview back in August where she seemed to be saying that she wasn’t going to get pregnant until she felt the time was right, and the time was NOT right.

Beyonce Knowles better brush up on her lullabies. The 29-year-old singer is pregnant with her first child, the new Us Weekly reports. Despite the happy news, no one was more surprised than the singer herself.

“B was shocked. She loves kids, but she wasn’t ready to be a mother just yet,” says a source of the singer, who married rapper Jay-Z in 2008. “She really wanted to get her album done and tour the world again.”

Still, another insider says that the singer, who is in her first trimester, realizes that “this is a gift from God and she’s so happy.”

Friends of the couple are already expressing their well-wishes for the parents-to-be.

“Jay has been all about family since I met him, and he’s always going to be,” record executive Kevin Liles, who has known the rapper for years, tells Us. “I wish them the best.”

Knowles’ sister Solange — and mom to Julez, 6 — agrees.

“She’s got the most beautiful heart,” she tells Us of her big sis. “She’ll be a great mom.”

That one line makes me wonder if this is true: “She loves kids, but she wasn’t ready to be a mother just yet. A couple of weeks ago, OK! Magazine’s sources claimed that Rachel Zoe, 39, is pregnant. This whole past season of The Rachel Zoe Project was about Rachel and her husband Rodger sniping at each other about babies, and it seemed like the pregnancy rumors were just part of the series’ promotion. But now Us Weekly’s sources are claiming the same thing – that Rachel is expecting, and that it’s all very “hush-hush.”

So long, size 00. Pin-thin stylist Rachel Zoe is pregnant, the new Us Weekly reports.

“It’s very hush-hush,” a source says of the fashion maven, 39, who is ­expecting her first child with husband of 12 years Rodger Berman. “She’s telling people she can’t travel,” notes the insider.

And a witness says that at the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic event in L.A.’s Pacific Palisades area on Oct. 10, Zoe only imbibed water with lemon, while Berman sipped champagne.

The news even brought out well-wishes from her former costar, Brad Goreski, though it’s been reported they’re feuding.

“We’re still close,” he tells Us, without confirming the pregnancy. “I hope to be in the delivery room!”

Well… I tend to believe it more from Us Weekly’s sources, honestly. I won’t believe it entirely until People confirms it though. Please, no one make jokes about how Rachel is 50 years old – she’s not! She’s actually in her late 30s, early 40s. She just looks hard and bad and tragic for her age. If she is pregnant, then maybe it will agree with her and she’ll look “filled out” and pretty, like her sister (who is older, but looks fifteen years younger). We’ll see.

I read this on Tuesday, but I didn’t think it was true. Or rather, I didn’t think it was confirmed. But it turns out that Matt Damon did confirm that he and his wife Luciana are having yet another daughter – their third together, plus Lucy has another daughter from a pre-Damon relationship. So in another month, Matt will be in a household with FIVE women. That’s some Kardashian-Jenner junk, for real.

He’s being outnumbered! Matt Damon and wife Luciana Barrosa are expecting another girl, Damon tells UsMagazine.com. The Oscar-winning actor, who turned 40 last week, and Barrosa already have two daughters, Isabella, 4, and Gia, 2, as well as Barrosa’s daughter, Alexis, 11, from a previous relationship.

Their new baby is due next month.

“I’m thrilled,” Damon told Us Sunday at the New York Film Festival’s Hereafter premiere. “I can’t wait to meet her.”

Damon — who quietly wed Luciana in 2005 — has credited his kids with keeping him grounded in Hollywood.

“It’s pretty easy to kind of lose your way… having kids is really helpful,” he once told Parade magazine. “They kind of disabuse you of the notion of your greatness pretty quickly. There’s a routine that you get into with kids that precludes you from going back to your single days. I’m probably more boring than I used to be. I go to bed earlier and I get up earlier.”

I don’t see Matt as the kind of man who is in any way bummed to have a house full of girls – unlike Ben Affleck, who I think actually actively wants a son. Plus, with four little girls, chances are that one of them will be a baseball-loving tomboy, right? And if not, Matt should just be prepared to be shellacked in glitter for the next two decades. As the only married Jonas brother, you would think that Kevin has quite a weight on his shoulders. He openly discussed waiting to have sex until he was married, and as soon as he got married (around Christmas of last year), everyone started making jokes about how Kevin was probably really, really disappointed with sex with his wife. Plus, there’s the little thing of his wife not letting him share a bed with her - because he snores! But she doesn’t make him move – she is the one to go to the guest room to sleep! Just think, you’ve waited all that time to have sex with your wife, you finally marry the girl of your dreams, and she gets up in the middle of the night, every night, to sleep in the other room. Ah, well.

So it’s really a miracle that Kevin might have gotten her pregnant – but that’s what In Touch Weekly is claiming, sort of. According to their sources, Kevin and his wife Danielle were shopping for pregnancy tests. My guess: they were probably shopping for that “whore” (Mama Jonas’ word) that Joe is dating (Ashley Greene, who does NOT wear a promise ring).

Are newlyweds Kevin Jonas and Danielle Deleasa about to become parents? An eyewitness spotted the happy couple at a Rite Aid pharmacy in West Hollywood on September 16 — and they were buying a home pregnancy test!

A friend has revealed that for Kevin and Danielle, a baby wouldn’t be out of the question, even though they’ve only been married for nine months.

“They’re mature for their age, and they want to start a family,” a friend says. “They’d consider it a major blessing if Danielle was pregnant.”

Kevin, 22, and Danielle, 23, had a spectacular wedding last December at Oheka Castle on Long Island, N.Y. And, of course, in 2008, the singer famously told Details magazine that he would wait until marriage to have sex.

If Danielle is knocked up, good for her. I’ll bet she thought Kevin’s snoring was the best birth control ever, but the joke’s on her! And now Kevin is able to prove to the world that yes, he did have sex. Unless people start questioning whether he and Danielle had fertility problems… but I doubt it. They’re young, they’re in love, and Danielle managed to get pregnant in the guest room. Good for them.
