INFDaily snagged this picture of Fergie leaving a sushi restaurant with her fiance, Josh Duhamel, and she’s looking pregnant. She was really pretty before all that plastic surgery, so their baby is likely to be cute. Or it could suffer from “Rumeritis” and end up with the worst features from each of them. You never know how that wheel of fate is going to spin.

People were whispering after the Grammy Awards that Fergie looked pregnant in that yellow dress she wore. Her mom called into Ryan Seacrest’s show afterwards and said that she was “absolutely positive” that her daughter was not pregnant and that people must be starting that rumor due to her engagement.

Five weeks later and it looks like the evidence is growing. If she is pregnant, congratulations to both of them. This looks like a pregnancy and not a Kate Hudson fashion-type situation, but I could be wrong. Commentors on D-Listed note that they attended her Houston concert yesterday and that she didn’t look pregnant at all:

Minnie Driver was on Leno last night, and she sang a song from her last album, “Seastories.” When she came off to talk to Jay afterwards he joked about her weight and she confirmed that she was pregnant.

Driver’s CD came out in July of last year so I assumed that the real reason she was on Leno was to confirm her pregnancy, but she also is promoting “The Riches,” her show on FX. The second season will only have seven episodes due to the writer’s strike, and it starts airing on March 18.

“Are you pregnant?” Leno asked, after joking about her weight.

“Yes, I am,” she replied. “I don’t know why they call it morning sickness… I am sick morning, noon and night, but it’s a fair trade-off.”

Driver said she likes being pregnant “more than anything else.”

According to Splash News’ description with the picture above, Driver “told Leno that she wanted to keep the father private and away from the media glare.” I’m kind of hoping there’s some sort of scandal to go along with this one, like the guy is some famous married actor, but it’s probably just that Minnie doesn’t want a big deal made out of her pregnancy. She’s been followed by the paps more after the rumor came out that she was pregnant, and she often looked annoyed in those pictures. Maybe she just doesn’t want to become a target of photographers or the gossip press, and figures the best way to do that is not to say much.

Driver is 38 and this is her first child. Congratulations to her and the unnamed dad.

When I read the Daily Mail article comparing pregnant Lisa Marie Presley to her late fat father I was pretty surprised. Even though the journalistic standards for the Daily Mail are lower than American tabloids, and involve making fun of skinny women’s knees regularly, I was amazed to see how rude they were to her. They included a side-by-side picture of pregnant Lisa next to fat Elvis. They did mention halfway down the article that she was rumored to be pregnant, but that didn’t get in the way of trashing her for moderate weight gain. The NY Daily News did the same thing.

The Daily Mail’s article has been removed, but I quoted the NY Daily News in an earlier article, and they were super nasty to her:

The singer and philanthropist, whose ex-husbands famously include Nicolas Cage and Michael Jackson, is rumored to be pregnant with fourth husband Michael Lockwood’s child, which might explain some of the dramatic weight gain.

That’s not very nice considering that the National Enquirer reported her pregnant a few days before those pictures came out, and you can see that she has a pregnant-looking tummy. The Daily News has since changed the wording on that article to be a lot more flattering to Presley, saying, “If it looks like Elvis Presley’s daughter Lisa Marie, now 40, has had a few too many of those peanut-butter and deep-fried banana sandwiches her father famously enjoyed, it’s because she’s eating for two! Presley is pregnant with her third child, her rep confirmed to People Magazine.”

The misogynistic body critics over at the Daily Mail are getting their asses sued by Presley, though. If only every celebrity would sue the Daily Mail for every stupid article they write, maybe they would be put out of business.

Presley wrote a scathing response to the very cruel articles about her. She blogged on her myspace that it was personally upsetting, and called it “nothing short of irresponsible and disgusting”

After being the target all week of slanderous and degrading stories, horribly manipulated pictures and articles in the media, I have had to show my cards and announce under the gun and under vicious personal attack that I am in fact pregnant.
Once they got a glimpse of my expanding physique a few days ago, they have been like a pack of coyotes circling their prey whilst eerily howling with delight. Starting with a London publication and then New York and Chicago all writing false defamatory degrading stories about all of the dark possible reasons I could be putting on weight.

Matt Damon, 37, and his wife of two years, Luciana Barroso, 32, are expecting their second child together. They have a 20 month-old daughter, Isabella, and Matt is the stepfather of Luciana’s 9 year-old daughter, Alexia, from her first marriage. Damon and Luciana were seen out at the Empire Film Awards in London last night, where Bourne Ultimatum won best film. It was obvious that Luciana was pregnant.

People Magazine has a statement from Damon’s rep, who confirms the news, saying “They couldn’t be happier, They’re so excited!”

Last year there was a story at the end of August that Luciana was three months’ pregnant, but that would make her nearly due at this point, and she doesn’t look that far along in these pictures from Sunday.

Congratulations to Matt and Luciana! According to People, Matt is now shooting the thriller The Green Zone in Morocco. He has two other films scheduled for release next year, The Informant, another thriller, and The Human Factor, which is based on Nelson Mandela’s first term as South African President. Morgan Freeman will play Mandela.

Former supermodel and current reality show star Kimora Lee Simmons, 32, is pregnant with actor Djimon Hounsou’s child. I am glad I only have to spell that name, and not pronounce it.

Kimora Lee Simmons finally has her long-sought-after bun in the oven. The demanding diva has been trying for a child with her lover, Djimon Hounsou, and sources say the two have finally made magic. “She’s pregnant,” a source told us. A rep for Simmons couldn’t get a hold of her client for five days. Simmons already has two children, Ming and Aoki, by ex-husband Russell Simmons.

Page Six makes it sound like the wannabe “Baby Phat” designer has been trying for years to get pregnant. It hasn’t really been that long; her divorce with Russell Simmons is barely a year old. Kimora has two daughters with Simmons, Ming Lee, 8, and Aoki Lee, 5 and 1/2, who appear regularly on her show, “Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane.” No word on what her due date is, or whether Kimora and Hounsou have plans to get married.

Page Six has a story about OC star Kelly Rowan, who is pregnant with her first child at 42 by her fiance, who also happens to tbe the richest man in Canada and the 10th richest person in the world. That’s a nice story about a hot TV star landing a billionaire and having his child and all, only the guy was married with another baby on the way when Kelly entered the picture.

“The OC” hottie Kelly Rowan is “in the final weeks of her preg nancy,” says a Canadian spy, but is being forced to remain undercover in Montreal because her bil lionaire boyfriend, David Thomson, is “horrified of any publicity.” Thomson is Canada’s richest man and ranked by Forbes as the world’s 10th richest billionaire. He and Rowan are said to be getting married after the April delivery of their kid and, “while [stay ing out of public view] has proven very trying for Kelly, who loves the attention like any normal Hollywood celebrity, she’s willing to give in to her man for fear of ending the whole relation ship,” our source e-mailed. “But she’s just thrilled to have conceived at all in her 40s and to have snagged such a rich prize as Thomson.” Thomson left his second wife while she was pregnant with their first child for Rowan. He has three kids with his first wife.

They say he has a first wife too, so I naturally assumed he left his first wife for his second wife, whom he left for Rowan. The guy is richer than whole sections of the third world put together, you can’t blame Kelly for not worrying about the fact that he was married with a baby on the way when she met him. I’m sure he told her all about how his wife didn’t understand him as they shared gourmet meals in dimly-lit restaurants, quietly mulling over his situation. Neither of them can possibly be blamed for falling prey to a love that was too great to deny.

I’m going on about how this other woman was wronged, and that’s the assumption you might make. I did some googling and found a profile of David Thomson written in May, 2006. It described in incredible detail the many breakups and public problems he had with his second wife. They were estranged several times before she got pregnant in 2005 after fertility treatment at 44. It seems that the truth isn’t always as clear-cut as you might assume based on known details. Thomson didn’t leave his first wife for his second wife, either.

Ironically, there was a picture of Claire Danes next to this article for a section called “This week’s newsmakers.” Danes is considered the responsible party in the breakup of Billy Crudup and Mary Louis Parker. Crudup left Parker when she was seven month’s pregnant with his child for his co-star Danes.

Her billionaire fiance wasn’t quite a bachelor when she met him, but he wasn’t in the most stable relationship, either. David Thomson is shown in a photo from Forbes.com, which lists his net worth as 22 billion dollars.

There are so many pregnant celebrities right now, I can’t even keep track of them all. Now, it looks like Lisa Marie Presley could be added to that list. The National Enquirer claims that the 40-year-old daughter of Elvis Presley is pregnant with her third child.

Lisa Marie Presley is pregnant at 40, say pals. Elvis’ “little girl” - married to husband No. 4- “knows the risks of a pregnancy at her age” but is determined to have this baby and make their new life complete, a close friend told the Enquirer.

“She’s two months pregnant. We’re praying Lisa makes it all the way.”

Lisa Marie was two months pregnant when she married musical director Michael Lockwood two years ago- but miscarried, according to a friend.

Lisa has two children. Michael has never been married before and has no children.

“He’s an only child and has always dreamed of becoming a father and making his parents grandparents,” said the friend.

The couple are thrilled and hopeful about the pregnancy, divulged the friend. “Lisa says another child with Michael will make their life complete.”

The article also goes into the fact that Lisa’s ex husband Danny Keough, father of her daughter Riley and son Ben, lives with the couple and helps raise the kids. Danny and Lisa are both Scientologists and raise their kids as Scientologists. It’s likely that Lisa would want this baby to be raised as a Scientologist as well. That whole scenario sounds like a reality show waiting to happen.

If it’s true that she’s pregnant, I wish Lisa luck. I’m 38 and the idea of being pregnant again at this age, after two kids and two stepsons, makes me want to jump off a cliff. But more power to her.

Cindy Adams wrote on Tuesday in two lines at the beginning of her column that “Boozing backstage during the Oscarcast is a no-no. But if you’re pregnant Nicole Kidman it’s a yes- yes. She wanted white wine. She got it….” and that was all she wrote about it before jumping into a story about Jack Nicholson.

I read this story yesterday morning but didn’t publish it because this tidbit was given without much evidence, along with the subject being controversial. Some doctors say that it’s ok to have one or two glasses of wine a week after you’re past the first trimester, but this is understandably a heated issue and many experts and groups recommend abstaining entirely during pregnancy.

Gwyneth Paltrow was eight months pregnant in March of 2006 when she drank a beer while out at a sushi restaurant, and then had two or three glasses of wine another night at dinner, according to a witness. Her rep confirmed that she drank the beer, but was careful to say she didn’t have any sushi. This led to a lot of criticism of how she was possibly endangering her baby.

Rachel Weisz made a controversial statement later that year by answering a reporter’s question about whether she thought it was ok to drink while pregnant by saying “Personally I do. They say not in the first three months though, but I think that after that it’s fine. I mean in Europe they drink it.”

When I was pregnant I gave up all alcohol, coffee, my favorite food sushi, and did just about everything I was told to do. I was super careful like that, but it doesn’t give me the right to judge anyone else for something that is a minor transgression at worst. If Kidman only had one glass of wine and she was really nervous, at least she wasn’t popping pills or anything. A lot of people were saying “with her history of miscarriage, she should be careful,” etc., but we don’t know if she had a sip, a full glass, if it was for someone else, or if her doctor told her it was ok.

According to Nicole Kidman’s rep, it’s not even true that asked for white wine backstage at the Oscars. Given the way this is so harshly worded, I tend to believe her:

“I try to ignore your [Perez’s] column, unlike most of the rest of the world, because it is so nasty. But I have to tell you that Nicole Kidman most certainly did NOT drink white wine or any other alcoholic beverage backstage. She had water and lemon zinger tea. That’s it. I know, I was there with her I cannot remember that last time that Cindy Adams got anything right. She’s an idiot, and you can quote me.”

Maybe Kidman drank her water out of a goblet or something, because they’re probably fancy like that at the Oscars.

The thread for this story on Oh No They Didn’t mentioned the infamous picture of a very pregnant and topless Catherine Zeta Jones puffing away on a cigarette. The photos were taken in 2003, and Zeta-Jones and her husband Michael Douglas sued to make sure that the photo was pulled from websites where it was posted.

Sinead O’Connor similarly sent cease and desists to websites that posted photos of her supposedly smoking while pregnant, with her lawyer saying she wasn’t pregnant at the time the photos were taken.

Commentor JoiGirl on our article about Rachel Weisz semi-advocating drinking while pregnant said “I think we have a huge problem in our society right now with people viewing expectant moms as public property, and feeling entitled not only to grope their bellies but also to tell them how to be good pregnant women.”

And when we do this to the celebrities, most of them make sure to let us know that they weren’t doing anything wrong in the first place.

A friend of rapper Lil’ Romeo supposed had a fling with Jamie Lynn Spears last year and is worried that he might be the father of her baby-to-be. Questionable source In Touch reports that someone close to the situation told them that this guy is hurt that Jamie Lynn blew him off after their brief romance, and that he’s upset she never contacted him to tell him of her pregnancy. As far as this guy is concerned, it could possibly be his.

In Touch also reports that Jamie Lynn dated ‘Lil Romeo briefly, but there is no allegation that he could be the father of her baby. There’s also another story that the 16 year-old was the victim of a predatory producer on her Nickelodeon show, Zoey 101, and that the unnamed much older man could be responsible for her pregnancy:

When Jamie Lynn fought with Casey, she became involved with a teenage pal of Lil’ Romeo’s, a confidant alleges. When the teenager heard Jamie Lynn was pregnant, “He was scared because they didn’t use protection,” the insider says…

Like most teenage girls, Jamie Lynn was often unsure of herself and her boyfriend Casey, 18, didn’t help matters. “Jamie Lynn said she and Casey were having serious problems and she was upset about it,” says the insider. “She said Casey cheated on her all the time, and that she couldn’t trust him.”

Deeply upset, Jamie Lynn turned to her new male friend for support and advice - and before long, the insider alleges things turned physicial. “The would fool around at his mother’s house. He was totally in awe of her,” the insider claims. “He said that she was very experienced and had a great body. He was in heaven.”

But it didn’t last long. “He was totoally upset but figured she had gotten back together with Casey,” says the insider. When the boy learned Jamie Lynn was pregnant, the insider says “he was scared” that he might be the father. But Jamie Lynn never contacted him, and his fears turned to hurt. “He feels like she brushed him off.”

The National Enquirer has an article this week that semi-supports this story. They claim to have an insider source who says that in a moment of anger Jamie Lynn confessed to Casey that he might not be the father of her baby. She later tried to take it back, but the damage was already done. What’s more is that Kevin Federline is said to have advised Casey to get a paternity test to determine if he is the father of the child once it is born.

Jamie Lynn is said to be pressuring Casey to marry her, but he is said to be reluctant given their issues and the fact that he’s not sure he’s the baby’s father.

Casey does seem to be around for the long haul, though. In Touch reports that he was spotted looking for a home with Jamie Lynn and her mother on February 18. They report that “The couple spent two hours negotiating with real estate agents to purchase the estimated $300,000 home in a gated community near Macomb, Mississippi, 20 minutes from Kentwood” [LA, where Jamie Lynn’s parents live.]

Jamie Lynn is reportedly due soon, around March 7, but that may be early as photos in the tabloids make it seem like she’s not really showing yet, but it’s hard to tell with the clothing she wears. That would make this story plausible if she was with this other guy in June of last year.

Getting pregnant at 16 is hardly the best example, but Jamie’s way of dealing with it isn’t the worst.

Jamie’s mother Lynn did sell the story of her pregnancy announcement to OK! Magazine. I’m not sure if that was the best move, but if someone was going to profit from the announcement, it might as well be her family. It sounds like it was her mother’s decision, not hers. Also, that way she gets to sell the story on her own terms instead of having people speculate. Since then she’s been lying low, although she was photographed wearing what looks like a Heineken t-shirt, which is probably not the classiest look for an expectant mother.

Jamie Lynn has passed her GED exams, and is planning on going to college.

The Zoey 101 star passed her high school equivalency exam about a month ago – scoring particularly well on reading comprehension – and is looking to take the ACT college entrance test, the friend says.

“She’s already got her diploma,” according to the friend. “She wants to take her ACT. She’s not wasting any time. People don’t know her. When she gets something in her head, she’ll make it happen. Everybody is so supportive of her.”

I’m really impressed with Jamie Lynn – she seems to have her head on her shoulders and is doing a great job in a tough situation. I’m not saying the her way of dealing with the situation is for everybody, but I’m glad she’s doing her best.

Jamie Lynn has one thing over other pregnant teens of course: a supportive family and financial security. Obviously that isn’t available to all young women in her situation. She was also photographed outside of a teaching institute that has classes on how to care for your children, which is something all parents should do regardless of how old they are. It’s not all instinct, and at least taking a class gives you something to say to your mother when she tells you “Don’t hold the baby like that, you’re doing it all wrong.”

Jamie Lynn is due sometime around March 7, according to some reports, and she is said to be having a girl. She might be one of those lucky women who don’t really have a big bump, so she could be close to popping, but she doesn’t look quite big enough to me. She did say earlier in her pregnancy she lacked an appetite, so maybe that accounts for the bump size.
