A friend of rapper Lil’ Romeo supposed had a fling with Jamie Lynn Spears last year and is worried that he might be the father of her baby-to-be. Questionable source In Touch reports that someone close to the situation told them that this guy is hurt that Jamie Lynn blew him off after their brief romance, and that he’s upset she never contacted him to tell him of her pregnancy. As far as this guy is concerned, it could possibly be his.

In Touch also reports that Jamie Lynn dated ‘Lil Romeo briefly, but there is no allegation that he could be the father of her baby. There’s also another story that the 16 year-old was the victim of a predatory producer on her Nickelodeon show, Zoey 101, and that the unnamed much older man could be responsible for her pregnancy:

When Jamie Lynn fought with Casey, she became involved with a teenage pal of Lil’ Romeo’s, a confidant alleges. When the teenager heard Jamie Lynn was pregnant, “He was scared because they didn’t use protection,” the insider says…

Like most teenage girls, Jamie Lynn was often unsure of herself and her boyfriend Casey, 18, didn’t help matters. “Jamie Lynn said she and Casey were having serious problems and she was upset about it,” says the insider. “She said Casey cheated on her all the time, and that she couldn’t trust him.”

Deeply upset, Jamie Lynn turned to her new male friend for support and advice - and before long, the insider alleges things turned physicial. “The would fool around at his mother’s house. He was totally in awe of her,” the insider claims. “He said that she was very experienced and had a great body. He was in heaven.”

But it didn’t last long. “He was totoally upset but figured she had gotten back together with Casey,” says the insider. When the boy learned Jamie Lynn was pregnant, the insider says “he was scared” that he might be the father. But Jamie Lynn never contacted him, and his fears turned to hurt. “He feels like she brushed him off.”

The National Enquirer has an article this week that semi-supports this story. They claim to have an insider source who says that in a moment of anger Jamie Lynn confessed to Casey that he might not be the father of her baby. She later tried to take it back, but the damage was already done. What’s more is that Kevin Federline is said to have advised Casey to get a paternity test to determine if he is the father of the child once it is born.

Jamie Lynn is said to be pressuring Casey to marry her, but he is said to be reluctant given their issues and the fact that he’s not sure he’s the baby’s father.

Casey does seem to be around for the long haul, though. In Touch reports that he was spotted looking for a home with Jamie Lynn and her mother on February 18. They report that “The couple spent two hours negotiating with real estate agents to purchase the estimated $300,000 home in a gated community near Macomb, Mississippi, 20 minutes from Kentwood” [LA, where Jamie Lynn's parents live.]

Jamie Lynn is reportedly due soon, around March 7, but that may be early as photos in the tabloids make it seem like she’s not really showing yet, but it’s hard to tell with the clothing she wears. That would make this story plausible if she was with this other guy in June of last year.

Getting pregnant at 16 is hardly the best example, but Jamie’s way of dealing with it isn’t the worst.

Jamie’s mother Lynn did sell the story of her pregnancy announcement to OK! Magazine. I’m not sure if that was the best move, but if someone was going to profit from the announcement, it might as well be her family. It sounds like it was her mother’s decision, not hers. Also, that way she gets to sell the story on her own terms instead of having people speculate. Since then she’s been lying low, although she was photographed wearing what looks like a Heineken t-shirt, which is probably not the classiest look for an expectant mother.

Jamie Lynn has passed her GED exams, and is planning on going to college.

The Zoey 101 star passed her high school equivalency exam about a month ago – scoring particularly well on reading comprehension – and is looking to take the ACT college entrance test, the friend says.

“She’s already got her diploma,” according to the friend. “She wants to take her ACT. She’s not wasting any time. People don’t know her. When she gets something in her head, she’ll make it happen. Everybody is so supportive of her.”

I’m really impressed with Jamie Lynn – she seems to have her head on her shoulders and is doing a great job in a tough situation. I’m not saying the her way of dealing with the situation is for everybody, but I’m glad she’s doing her best.

Jamie Lynn has one thing over other pregnant teens of course: a supportive family and financial security. Obviously that isn’t available to all young women in her situation. She was also photographed outside of a teaching institute that has classes on how to care for your children, which is something all parents should do regardless of how old they are. It’s not all instinct, and at least taking a class gives you something to say to your mother when she tells you “Don’t hold the baby like that, you’re doing it all wrong.”

Jamie Lynn is due sometime around March 7, according to some reports, and she is said to be having a girl. She might be one of those lucky women who don’t really have a big bump, so she could be close to popping, but she doesn’t look quite big enough to me. She did say earlier in her pregnancy she lacked an appetite, so maybe that accounts for the bump size.

After weeks of speculation, the big question is answered. Yes, Angelina Jolie is pregnant again. Jolie attended the Independent Spirit Film Awards sporting a major baby bump.

Brad and Angelina haven’t confronted any pregnancy rumors, but today at the Film Independent’s Spirit Awards, the two decided to use a more passive approach — just show the bump!

I guess this is the new trend among celebrity moms-to-be– never announce your pregnancy, just show up somewhere with a sudden gut. I blame this on Christina Aguilera. She started this, then JLo, and now Angelina. It’s a great PR stunt, but to be frank, I’m sort of over it. Sorry, Ang. File this one under, “Thanks for telling us what we already knew.”

Note by Celebitchy: A lot of people thought at first that these picture might be photoshopped, but they’re definitely not, Angelina is just wearing a very tight outfit. I don’t think Angelina and Brad will go to the Oscars this year, because the only one of their films that is nominated is The Assination of Jesse James, and that’s just for cinematography. Brad’s co-star Casey Affleck is also up for best supporting actor. They didn’t show up last year and Babel was up for best picture. If this is how Angelina is announcing her pregnancy, good for her. She waited an awful long time, I would guess she’s 5-6 months along, and she’s not profiting from the news, even for charity. She also picked a relatively low-key event, The Independent Spirit Awards.

Kate Hudson continues to wear loose clothing which makes it look like she’s trying to hide something. She is shown in the header image out at Nobu on Wednesday night, wearing a loose short dress that is puffing out in the right places.

At the dance studio on Wednesday she wore a big ‘ol red sweatshirt, which may have been just a comfortable cover-up.

But she was also seen at the dance studio the day before, and even though she held her sweater out in front of her she couldn’t hide something that seemed obvious to us.

We were calling her pregnant earlier in the month after she made several appearances for Fool’s Gold wearing loose clothing. It could just be her fashion sense and the fact that she’s gained less weight than I have the past year (I’m not going to lie to you, I have been hitting the gym trying to move some of that into muscle) so if we’re wrong on this one we’re very sorry. Kate didn’t look like she wasn’t pregnant on the Regis and Kelly show, but it was hard to tell.

If she is pregnant, people are wondering who the father might be. There’s a story that she’s been secretly seeing Owen Wilson again, but Life and Style also reports that she was seen out to lunch with an old hook up, Justin Timberlake. This could get interesting, or Hudson could just slim down in two weeks and we’ll be feeling stupid, but I don’t see that happening.

For five months along, Nicole Kidman sure is doing a good job of hiding her growing stomach. Especially because it seems from these pictures that she’s not trying to hide it at all. Nicole is supposedly five months along. I am no pregnancy expert, but I had no idea a person could have such a small stomach at that point. That’s what J-Lo looked like 48 hours after conception. I have don’t know what’s going on here, but something is fishy. Nicole was out and about promoting her film “The Golden Compass” in Japan. Depending on who you believe, the film supposedly promotes atheism.

“These books denigrate Christianity, thrash the Catholic Church and sell the virtues of atheism,” asserted [Bill Donohue, president and CEO] of Catholic League, who earlier this month called on Christians to boycott the movie.”

Interestingly, Nicole said that both of her children, who are being raised as Scientologists by ex-husband Tom Cruise, have seen the film. One would think this could cause quite the parental skirmish between the former spouses. Though Scientologists aren’t Christians, many say that the film promotes atheism on the whole. However it should also be mentioned that Nicole has said she considers herself Catholic, and yet she starred in the film.

In the story, a malevolent governing body called “the Church,” which answers to the “Vatican Council,” is known to kidnap children for experimentation. With the help of a golden compass that reveals a coded answer to any question asked by the user, Lyra, by the trilogy’s end, gets to the bottom of the missing children and kills a character called “God.”

“The Golden Compass” sounds very interested and complicated – surprisingly so for a children’s movie. Nicole said both her kids have seen it, and she’s glad to make a kid’s movie once in a while.

During the press conference, the five-month pregnant star revealed she had deliberately chosen The Golden Compass script because it’s child-friendly.

She said: “My Bella and Connor are 13 and 15. So they have seen the film and they loved it… my child inside won’t see the film for a long time.”

“But I think once you have children you want to balance the work you do because they give up so much of you to your work. So occasionally you want to make films that they can take their friends to, they can go to the premiere of, that they celebrate.”

I can’t help but wonder how much Nicole runs by Tom and visa versa. I would love to know what went on behind closed doors in terms of Connor and Isabella’s religious upbringing. Since her divorce, Nicole has gently said that she considers Scientology to be hogwash, and always did. Her father is a very prominent Australian psychologist, and Scientologists are famously opposed to psychiatry. However her kids were obviously already being raised as such, so whether due to Tom’s insistence or Nicole’s acquiescence, their kids still go to Scientology camp every summer. It’s hard not to wonder if “The Golden Compass” got them thinking. Reading about it has gotten me thinking too. Though I’m still mostly thinking about Nicole Kidman’s confusing lack of visible stomach.

TV, film and recording star Minnie Driver was recently spotted exiting a clinic in Los Angeles, looking at sonogram images and acting very excited. This got the rumor mill buzzing: is she pregnant? Minnie, who is currently on hiatus from the excellent FX show “The Riches,” keeps a very low profile and has not confirmed or denied the pregnancy rumor. But if it’s true, who’s the daddy?

Actress Minnie Driver is reportedly pregnant with her first child.

The 38-year-old was spotted outside a Los Angeles baby clinic looking at sonogram images with a friend last week.

A source said: “She is absolutely thrilled. She has always wanted to be a mother, she’ll be fantastic. Her family are so pleased.”

The British star also called her boyfriend, known only as Matthew, outside the surgery and talked about “getting blood work done”.

She then added to her pal: “Matthew tells me I should be quiet so no-one hears me.”

Since being very publicly dumped by “Good Will Hunting” co-star Matt Damon over ten years ago, Minnie has kept her private life under wraps. She was engaged to “No Country For Old Men” star Josh Brolin for a while, but they broke up amid rumors that Brolin’s stepmom, Barbra Streisand, didn’t approve of Minnie. Since then, she’s been linked to Criss Angel (ew!) and “Gross Pointe Blank” co-star John Cusack. All she’s revealed about her current boyfriend is that he is “not famous and he’s Australian,” according to an interview in Girl magazine.

TMZ currently has a video posted of Minnie walking in Los Angeles wearing a loose fitting poncho, but there aren’t many other recent photos of her, so it’s impossible for me to tell if she’s pregnant. If she is, congratulations to her and her mystery man.

After seeing recent pictures of Kate Hudson and watching video interviews for Fool’s Gold, I am convinced that she’s pregnant. She hasn’t worn a form fitting outfit at all this month from what I’ve seen and her face is looking a little more filled out. I’m not bashing her for gaining a small amount of weight if that’s the case, but she really looks pregnant to me. If she’s not, she should wear outfits that don’t make her look pregnant.

We were guessing that she was pregnant when she showed up at the premiere of Fool’s Gold last week wearing an unfortunate loose blue dress with a giant assymetric ruffle. It was a case of a couture gown that didn’t translate well off the catwalk. Her dress ballooned at the stomach, and many people attributed the bump that was seen to the wind blowing out her dress. Kate was at Madonna’s Gucci Kabbalah fundraiser Wednesday night, but she didn’t pose for photos on the red carpet was only pictured leaving, again wearing a very loose pink dress

There are some candids of Kate out with her son, Ryder, earlier on Wednesday and she’s wearing a giant striped shirt and it really looks like she has a bump. (There are more photos from this series at PopSugar.)

Outside her appearance on The Late Show last night she wore a trenchcoat and it looks like it’s pushed out a bit in the right places. I’m waiting to see the video of her interview, but how much do you want to bet she wore a loose dress again? (Update: She really looks pregnant in the video, watch it below.)

There’s going to be a lot of guessing as to who the father might be as Kate has not been linked to anyone lately, except for a rumored fling with Justin Timberlake.

On January 31, Kate’s rep responded to our request for comment with an e-mail stating “Kate is not pregnant.”

Update 2: Thanks to commentor “Britney is crazy” for pointing out that Kate wore a more form-fitting dress on Regis & Kelly on February 5 and didn’t look that pregnant. Here’s the clip, it’s just the beginning where she stands. I guess the verdict is still out on this one.

It’s been thought for a while that Jennifer Lopez, 38, might be pregnant with twins, and yesterday her father confirmed that J-Lo is doubly fertile. I thought she was pregnant with twins because she might have used IVF, which increases the likelihood of multiple births. But apparently twins run in the Lopez family.

The rumors are true, confirmed by no less a source than her father: Jennifer Lopez is expecting twins. And it isn’t even a Lopez family first.

“Yes, twins,” her dad David Lopez said in an interview on the Spanish-language show Escándalo TV, PEOPLE en Español reports. “The thing is in my family, my sister also had twins, so it’s a hereditary thing.”

For David Lopez, the news means double the excitement.

“I’m very proud. Jennifer has yearned to be a mother for many years,” he said.

David Lopez says that he’s bought special azabache bracelets for the babies, which are a Puerto Rican tradition. The bracelets, make out of black stone, are supposed to protect the babies from the evil eye. Though considering J-Lo’s legendary diva behavior, I’m not sure the evil eye is the kids’ biggest concern.

Lopez has been spotted buying baby supplies for both a boy and a girl, which greatly increases our chances that we may be subjected to a Marc Anthony look alike. I swear to God, if there is a God, he will give them at least 90% of J-Lo’s genes. At least of the face genes. If one or both of those kids grow up to look like Marc Anthony, we’ll pretty much be able to end the debate about the existence of God. In less frightening news, Star reports that the couple plan on naming the babies Max and Emme. Well it’s no Pilot Inspektor (a la Jason Lee) but I suppose they’ll do.

Matthew McConaughey, 38, has been open and enthusiastic about the news that his girlfriend, 24 year-old Brazilian model Camila Alves, is pregnant. He made the announcement on his blog, (link has automatic music) saying “yes, my girlfriend Camila and I made a baby together… it’s 3 months growin in her womb and all looks healthy and lively so far… we are stoked and wowed by this miracle of creation and this gift from God.”

Celebrity Baby Blog has an interview up with Matt and his Fool’s Gold co-star Kate Hudson talking parenthood with Entertainment Tonight. Matt revealed that Camila is about five months along and said that they aren’t going to find out the sex of the baby ahead of time. He said he overheard the doctor referring to their baby as “he” and that he had to work not to jump to conclusions about it. As for how he’s going to handle fatherhood, Matt said that he’s heard that “whatever plans you make, throw them out the window,” but that he’s “got the instincts for it.”

In an question and answer section in this week’s In Touch, Matt revealed more about how he feels about the upcoming baby, and you have to admire the guy. He’s gung ho about it, and says that having a baby makes him feel younger. He said he’s looking forward to every day, and that he’s “absolutely” going to be changing diapers. One thing that made me smile, though, is how he answers the question about how his life is going to change by saying the kid will fit right in. He’s in for a wild ride:

Do you feel more like a grown-up now that you have a baby on the way?
I actually feel younger. Even with Camilla just being pregnant now, parenthood has begun. The way I think about the future has already shifted. There’s a lot more “we” instead of just “me” and that feels good.

Do you expect your life will change much?
I think there are a lot of things you don’t change in your life when you have a child. The child has to come in and be a part of the life that you have…

Will you be a disciplinarian?
It’s hard to imagine myself saying things like, “I’m not going to explain it again,” or my all-time favorite, “You better get back in bed, get up on the other side of it, and get back in this kitchen with a new attitude!” I better get prepared.

What are you most looking forward to?
Every single day.

Will you be changing diapers?
Absolutely. I’ve been an uncle for a while, so I know a little bit about the art of diaper-changing. Once you get the hang of it, it’s a breeze.

McConaughey said he’s not going to stop doing stunts for his movies just because he’s a dad, and said again that he’s not making any grand plans and will rely on his instincts when the baby arrives.

I love the quote he gave about how “You better get back in bed and get up on the other side!” You can imagine his mom saying that, and it’s funny as anything. His mom recently wrote on his journal: “Drinking from my saucer, because my cup is indeed overflowing with news of this new baby!”

McConaughey has a reputation as a mellow, friendly guy who can have some wild parties when he’s inclined, but who doesn’t get in trouble and keeps himself in check with a lot of exercise. He is getting accolades for his new clean-cute look, with a shorter hairstyle and a shave, and people think that his upcoming fatherhood has influenced him to clean up his appearance. He’s about to see how much life really can change when a child enters the picture, and he seems more than happy to accept the challenge.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie might be staying quiet on the issue of whether a fuller-looking Angelina is pregnant, but they’re giving away some hints here and there. Reporters on the red carpet at the Santa Barbara film festival this weekend were instructed not to ask questions about Angelina’s rumored pregnancy. This week’s OK! Magazine says that little Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, who turns two on May 27, is moving to a new big girl room in the couple’s Malibu mansion, and that she leaving her nursery, which Brad and Angelina are redecorating in shades of yellow. OK! has enough specific details about the new nursery to make it seem like they do have a source and aren’t just making this up:

Angelina and Brad have been preparing for a second biological baby by moving Shiloh into another bedroom and redecorating the nursery. They tore down the current nursery in their multimillion-dollar Malibu mansion, which has been the room of 20-month-old daughter Shiloh. “Brad made floor plans to give Shiloh a bedroom with her own canopy bed,” a friend of the actor tells OK! According to an insider, “Brad drafted plans to change the nursery, which was a very modern girl’s room. They wanted a muted yellow neutral palette so they could have a blank slate for the next addition.” They moved all of Shiloh’s princess drawings, toys and powder pink curtains to another room closer to Maddox, Zahara and Pax. Shiloh is growing up, and they wanted to give her her own first “big girl” bed.

The freshly-painted nursery now houses a brand-new crib. A Jolie Pitt insider confirms, “They got a new crib, and Brad wants to completely change the nursery.”

And contrary to the reports in the less reputable tabloid magazines that we love to devour, OK! doesn’t mention twins at all. They say that Brad and Angelina considered fertility drugs because this second pregnancy didn’t come as easily as the first, but that they decided to wait it out and were ultimately successful:

Shiloh’s birth was a piece of cake, but it took some old-fashioned practice to conceive their second natural-born baby. “Angelina was really upset that she couldn’t get pregnant,” a source close to the couple confides to OK! “She and Brad even discussed the possibility of fertility drugs, but they wanted to wait because they preferred not to have a multiple birth, and the changes of that were greater with fertility drugs.”

Another detail that corroborates the “Angelina is Pregnant” rumor that is that Angelina is said to have ordered more of those maternity shirts that she wore all the time when she was pregnant with Shiloh.

OK! also says that Brad and Angelina want to have another girl to hang out with Shiloh before she gets too old to pal around with another sibling, but that Pax is hoping for a little brother.

I think the twins rumor originated with a post on paparazzi photo agency X17’s blog, which was picked up and spun into “invitro treatments to save marriage!” stories by a lot of the tabloids. The details on the fertility treatments were shaky, although it does seem likely that Angelina saw a nutritionist prior to getting pregnant as so many outlets have suggested.

She’s definitely looking pregnant, and we’ll have to see now how and when she choses to announce it. It is thought that she will make a decision to reveal her pregnancy with a high-paid exclusive interview and photo session with the proceeds going to charity. She made a $400,000 donation to Wyclef Jean’s Yele Haiti charity with the proceeds from her first pregnancy announcement. People bash Angelina for “pimping out her kids,” but she does good things with the money, and people want to see their pictures and read about them in the glossies.
