Tobey Maguire’s mother & brother get a reality show

archive maguire family 061007

Did anyone know that Tobey Maguire had a fifteen-year-old brother? The kid’s name is Weston, and he lives with their mom, Wendy Maguire. Wendy and Weston just got themselves a new reality show called “Growing Up Maguire”, that will feature Wendy being a stage mom, and her efforts to push Weston into some kind of stardom. But from the sound of it, I don’t think Weston is an actor, I think he’s an athlete. Page Six describes him as a kid who “rides motocross, skateboards and snowboards.” So who knows?

CB is positive that Tobey isn’t going to like this one bit. She describes Tobey as “always surly-looking when the paparazzi are around and you can tell he likes his privacy.” I agree. I think Tobey has some issues with his famously dysfunctional childhood and with fame in general. I don’t really think Tobey has some massive chip on his shoulder or anything, I just think this whole idea of his younger brother and his mother getting a reality show to showcase Weston’s start to stardom will most likely rub Tobey the wrong way:

WENDY Maguire, mother of “Spider-Man” Tobey Maguire, is about to become a reality TV star — along with Tobey’s younger brother, Weston, 15 — in “Growing Up Maguire.”

Bob DeBrino — who produced “Find Me Guilty,” directed by Sidney Lumet and starring Vin Diesel — plans to show how Wendy, a single mother, sacrifices to shield her children from the downside of the entertainment industry.

Weston — who rides motocross, skateboards and snowboards — will provide plenty of action.

[From Page Six]

In a past interview, Tobey described his parents as “a couple of kids” and admitted that he learned to fend for himself at a young age. He told Parade: “I realized at a young age that I was responsible for myself. My feelings of love or security or happiness – they were all in my own hands. I had plenty of difficult, emotional and scary times as a kid, but I don’t dwell on it.”

Tobey is also famously tight-fisted with his money. Last year, his grandfather gave an interview talking about how Tobey sent him $100 gifts three or four times a year, and that’s all. His grandpa wasn’t mad about it, he just said it matter-of-factly. It makes me wonder if Tobey gives any financial support to his mother and his brother, or if he expects them to fend for themselves, like he had to. If they’re hurting for money, that could be one reason they agreed to a reality show.

Here’s Wendy, Weston, and brother JoPaul (oldest) at a portrait session at their home and at Will Rogers State Beach in Los Angeles in August 2006. Images thanks to WENN.com .

Nadya Suleman pissed off that judge appoints guardian to watch her kids’ finances

infphoto_1030882
Over the weekend the news came out that Octomom Nadya Suleman had signed a reality show contract that guaranteed that her children would receive $250 a day each for filming. It was unknown how much Suleman would be compensated, but it sounded like her children’s money was safe as it was being placed in a trust for them until they turned 18. The money was estimated at $250,000 total for all the kids over three years. The only problem was that just 15% of that money would be placed in a trust, as several of you pointed out in the comments. That’s only $37,500.

Nadya’s kids might get to attend college without going into debt after all. A guardian has been appointed by the court to oversee the money her children earn, essentialy keeping it out of Suleman’s greedy paws:

Child star-turned kids activist Paul Petersen filed suit asking that the court appoint a guardian to protect Nadya Suleman’s children’s “potential business opportunities” and he succeeded Monday in making his point with an Orange County (CA) judge.

Petersen, who was represented in court by an attorney, claims that Nadya – better known as Octomom – has used her 14 kids for financial gain.

Not so, said, Suleman, who told reporters: “I have the right to decide what is in my family’s best interest without undue interference by Mr. Peterson.”

Superior Court Judge Gerald Johnston disagreed and is appointing a guardian.

[From Radar Online]

Suleman also told E! online that she’s “indifferent” about the judge’s ruling, although that contradicts her other statements about the matter. Is it in her “family’s best interest” for Suleman to spend all her children’s money on whatever she sees fit? This is the woman who had to declare bankruptcy and was supporting her family on student loans, food stamps and disability – despite having multiple plastic surgery procedures. She opted to undergo invitro fertilization while she had six young children at home she couldn’t support. She absolutely needs someone looking out for her children’s money. In Suleman’s mind, it’s in her “family’s best interest” for her to buy designer clothing and luxury goods while her kids are left to figure out how to pay for college. She’s undoubtedly getting a ton of cash for the show, but she’ll blow through it quickly and go on to waste her kids’ money if no one is there to stop her. After all, she gave birth to those kids and has the right to all their earnings right?

I wrote all that wanting to hate on Suleman, but then I saw these recent photos in which she’s carrying a Guess bag which retails for $130. That seems downright practical for her. Who am I kidding, she probably has 13 more at home.

Nadya is shown out on 7/25/09. Credit: INFphoto.com.

Candy Spelling sends snotty letter to daughter Tori through TMZ

fp_2102434_spelling_candy_f
Candy Spelling is at it again! Candy has been taking issue publicly with everything about her daughter Tori for years now. It got a lot worse when Tori wrote her autobiography, which included some slightly harsh remembrances of her mother. It escalated further and further over the past few years, to the point where Candy has never met her granddaughter (Tori’s daughter) Stella. I honestly can’t remember all of the nasty stuff that’s gone with the Spelling family, but one of the worst incidents, in my mind, was when Candy basically said Tori killed her father. That kind of made me Team Tori for life. But even if that hadn’t happened, this would surely do the trick. It seems Candy decided to write an “open letter” to Tori, and gave it to TMZ to publish:

EXCLUSIVE TO: TMZ.COM
TO: MIDDLE-AGED REALITY SHOW STARS (LIKE MY DAUGHTER)
FROM: CANDY SPELLING

I Know many middle-aged people have issues about their parents and their upbringing. I did. My memories didn’t match all those of my mother, and, funny thing, it’s the same way with my daughter.

Life has consequences. What you say is on the record. Other people have feelings.

I have a vested interest in this subject. My daughter, Tori’s, two-part season finale revolves around my granddaughter’s first birthday party and how she has made what seems like an agonizing decision to invite me.

Cue music. Cue sideways glaces. Cue [sic] Lights.

I did get an invitation just in time for the RSVP deadline. I’m sure its delivery will be on next week’s episode with some comment about my house or driveway or street or something they won’t like. I wonder if that will be spread out over one part or two. Sigh.

A big party wasn’t how I envisioned meeting my granddaughter for the first time; but, hey, this is Hollywood, and my grandchildren have become reality show props, too. At the time I emailed “yes,” I didn’t realize I was being set up for a two-parter, even though it was clear I was being invited to be part of a segment for my daughter’s reality show.

Spoiler alert. Don’t read this if you plan to sit through an hour of people looking at their watches and saying “she’s late.” I decided my first meeting with my granddaughter should be on home video, not primetime cable; so I emailed that i would not be attending.

Back to other reality stars. My husband taught me that the plots have to be fresh and updated. The same old whining gets tired after a while. Enough complaining about what may or may not have happened during first grade or YMCA camp, or what vegetable you were forced to endure, especially when you are privileged enough to be on TV and get paid for it.

For all the reality show personalities, please remember that real life doesn’t get edited to make things better or worse or get better ratings. You’re responsible for what you do. Life isn’t just a show. And your families can’t just be props. Make your own season finale without creating conflicts you will regret later.

[From TMZ]

“My husband taught me that the plots have to be fresh and update,” Candy writes as she bitches and moans about all of the same old crap. Tori didn’t fall far from that tree, did she? I’m saying that even though I, Team Tori – do think it’s a little gross that Tori and Dean let their kids be such a big part of the show. But I’ve also watched the show, and they seem like great, involved parents. Unlike, say, the Gosselins or whatever. Or Candy Spelling. Because at the end of the day, I kind of think that if a woman really wanted to see her granddaughter for the first time, there would be nothing that could stop her. Not even some cameras, old plotlines or bad back-lighting.

Tori Spelling and her family are shown out in Malibu on 7/26/09. Candy Spelling is shown at the ESPY Awards on 7/15/09 and shopping on 4/15/09. Credit: Fame Pictures

Octomom signs reality TV deal, money for kids to be placed in trust

Nadya Suleman has signed a reality TV deal in which each of her 14 kids will earn $250 a day, to be placed in a trust that will be available to them when they turn 18. The move is likely meant to quiet all the talk that Suleman will predictably be profiting off her children and siphoning the money to pay for plastic surgery, designer goods, and nail tips. At least the kids will have some money put aside for the education, although surely the thick-lipped one got a sweet payday that’s not disclosed in the publicly available documents:

Octuplet mother Nadya Suleman has signed agreements for each of her 14 children to earn $250 a day to star in a reality television show.

The contracts filed Friday in Los Angeles Superior Court guarantee the children will collectively earn about $250,000 over three years. The contracts require a judge’s approval.

European production company Eyeworks has inked the deal with Suleman. Eyeworks lists “Breaking Bonaduce” and “The Biggest Loser” among its television credits.

The show is slated to begin filming Sept. 1, according to the documents.

The payments outlined in the contracts say Suleman’s kids will collectively earn $125,000 for 36 days of shooting in the first year of production, $75,000 for 21 days in the second year and $50,000 for 14 days in the third year. Any extra shooting days will be compensated at the same rate.

The contract also states that 15 percent of the gross compensation will be deposited by Eyeworks into a “Coogan Trust Account,” as required by California law. The monies can’t be touched until the children turn 18 or become legally emancipated.

A call to Suleman’s lawyer Jeff Czech was not immediately returned Friday afternoon. He has said previously that the family has hired an entertainment lawyer and established a trust for her children, ages eight and under.

[From OMG.Yahoo.com]

Suleman has previously slammed mother-of-eight Kate Gosselin, calling her reality show “exploitative and invasive in the kids lives,” and saying that her show won’t be anything like that and will be “more documentary style, monitoring their growth and development… more intellectual and educational, not so superficial.” I guess we’ll see how “educational” Suleman’s show is. Given her seething jealousy of Kate Gosselin, and all the obvious plastic surgery procedures she denies, you would assume that Suleman’s show will be just as “superficial,” if not more so, than its predecessors. This is the woman who tore up a photo of Kate Gosselin in a bikini and said she wouldn’t wear a bathing suit for the paps, but if she did she’d pick a cuter one. “I’m not as attention seeking.. [I'll] probably never [wear a bikini for the paparazzi.]. If I do I’ll be more appropriate I’ll wear little boy shorts like the 50s or 60s bikinis. A little cuter less attention seeking.”

Kevin Federline & gf to get reality show on VH1 – featuring Britney’s kids

fp_3218591_federline_girlfr1
We’ve heard rumors for a while that Kevin Federline is trying to work out some sort of deal for a reality show. He told People Magazine late last year that he was “working on a TV show with a production company” and that, he’s “building my own [children's fashion] brand, Otzi.” K-Fed receives a base $20k a month in child support plus bonuses for touring with Britney that can double that amount.

I couldn’t find any evidence that K-Fed’s clothing line is in production at all, and with all that money coming in from his ex he doesn’t need to work. The guy makes over a quarter of a million a year just for watching his own kids 1/2 time. Some more cash and fame could be headed well-Fed’s way. According to E! Online his reality show is about to happen, and it will feature his girlfriend, Victoria Prince, along with his two children with Britney, Sean Preston, nearly 4, and Jayden James, nearly 3. Britney is said to be ok with this, and to have made peace with Victoria. The show could be set to air on VH1:

Britney Spears’ wife-beater-loving ex-husband Kevin Federline [is] eyeing a new reality program to show off his latest girlfriend, Victoria Prince, and (gasp) his two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, a source tells E! News.

“Victoria is a big part of the series,” says the source. “They are not engaged, but she lives with him full-time in his place in Encino.”

Lucky for Victoria, Britney seems to have given the “step-in mommy” her seal of approval. “Victoria and Britney first met before Britney’s tour at Kevin’s home,” says our source. “They had a meeting face-to-face, when Victoria was home alone with the kids. It was awkward, but Britney was nice.”

When she isn’t helping out with the kids, our source says that K-Fed’s girlfriend, a former AVP volleyball player, is taking online graduate classes in communication.

“Victoria actually quit her entry-level job at Fox Sports in L.A. after meeting Kevin,” says the source. “She’s considering returning to volleyball, but isn’t sure.”

This isn’t the first time K-Fed has tried to reprise his role as a reality star since Britney & Kevin: Chaotic aired four years ago. In February 2008, he reportedly canceled a possible show after Britney’s infamous breakdown.

A rep for VH1 could not confirm that the couple is working on a show with the network, and Kevin’s rep has not returned E!’s request for comment.

[From E! Online]

What a surprise – Kevin’s girlfriend quit her job after hooking up with him and is now living rent free on Britney’s dime. At least she’s studying in the mean time. This news comes at a good time for Kevin. His child support could be cut back this month as Britney just decided not to bring her sons with her to Russia, where she performs tonight, after receiving death threats. I hope she’s ok, and that her kids are well looked after. For everything you can say about Kevin, at least he’s a caring dad. Maybe the public’s assumptions about the guy, good and bad, will be challenged once we get a well-edited, skewed glimpse into his home life. Is this fair to Britney’s kids though? They already have enough fame as Britney’s kids and don’t need to become reality TV stars on top of that.

After 150lb weight loss, Ruby Gettinger says friends have tried to sabotage her

A slimmed-down Ruby exercises on Santa Monica Pier, CA
Savannah, Georgia native Ruby Gettinger is the star of the reality show “Ruby” on the Style Network, now in its second season. Ruby has struggled with her weight all her life, and weighed as much as 715 pounds 10 years ago. She’s is now under 350 pounds, having lost 150 pounds through diet and exercise since the start of her show a year ago. A friendly, open person with a strong network of friends and family, Ruby easily wins people over with her kind personality. Not everyone is rooting for Ruby’s success, however. The 5’9″ redhead said that friends have told her she’s lost enough weight and that one even stooped low enough to send her a box of candy as a present:

Talk about frenemies. Now that reality TV star Ruby Gettinger is less than 350 pounds (from her highest weight of 716), some so-called friends have told her she doesn’t need to lose any more weight.

“I’ve had friends say, `You look good right now. You need to stop losing weight now.’ I don’t get it. It’s almost like misery loves company,” said the Savannah, Ga., native in a recent interview.

In fact, Gettinger says she’s had people send her a basket full of sweets from a candy shop, knowing she’s on a diet.

Gettinger stars in her own show on the Style Network (8 p.m. EDT Sundays) as she struggles to get healthy.

When “Ruby” – now in its second season – began filming last year she weighed 500 pounds. She’s now lost 80 inches overall and 30 inches from her waist which Gettinger jokes is a whole person.

She can walk two miles now and craves healthy foods like fish and vegetables.

Gettinger says her goal is to be healthy and not to get to a particular weight.

[From The AP via Huffington Post]

I was first introduced to Ruby last November, when I covered an interview she had with In Touch. I was moved by her struggle, and by how honest she came across. She said at the time that her goals were to do things that average-size people take for granted, like take a bubble bath, ride a bicycle, and paint her toenails. She’s since been able to experience things that were impossible for her before, like riding a bike and going camping.

Ruby is on an amazing journey and she doesn’t let detractors get in her way. She told MSN in an interview last year that she tries to surround herself with positive people and not let negativity get her down. “I don’t let negative attitudes and meanness from other people keep me from living my life… I am a girl who loves life and loves people, and I find that in this life there are more good people than bad, and that is who I choose to surround myself with. I want us all to get healthier, but also to live life to the fullest along the way.”

Ruby hosts what she calls “women’s fat night,” an informal support group that she started with her group of friends. In a clip available on her website, below, you can see that some of her friends are heavy too. Some may be envious that she’s in the spotlight and is changing her life with help from a team of experts. They have a lot of fun together, though, and from the clips I’ve seen of her show it’s hard to tell that there’s any animosity there. It’s sad that this happens between friends, and I’ve had my feelings hurt in similar situations. Sometimes people just can’t accept it when you’re different from what they’ve come to expect.

You can learn more about Ruby and see segments from her show on her website. “Ruby” airs on the Style Network on Sundays at 8pm.

Real Housewives’ Danielle Staub’s sordid past confirmed; sex tape on hold

year one premiere 160609

“Real Housewives of New Jersey” cast member Danielle Staub has just had her sordid past shared with all the world. And when I say “sordid,” I really mean it. In more than the Paris Hilton or Lindsay Lohan sense of the word. Staub has quite the criminal record, which the Smoking Gun got a hold of. It includes charges in 1986 of attempted kidnapping, selling massive quantities of cocaine for a Columbian drug family, working as a snitch – oh and working as a prostitute, too.

A lot of these accusations were rumors that were floating around on the TV show, based on her inclusion in a book called “Cop Without a Badge” which talked about several of the crimes. Danielle wasn’t the focus of the book (her name was Beverly Ann Merrill back then, she changed it because of the book), which is about her drug dealing ex-husband, but there was enough embarrassing information in there to do some serious damage. The book was revealed during the first part of the show’s finale, and there was a lot of drama regarding who really knew about it and who exposed Danielle. The internet has been wondering just how accurate all the information was. The Smoking Gun got a hold of many of the files related to the case (at least 23 pages of them) which prove just how sleazy Danielle’s life was.

In previews for Thursday’s second installment of The Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion, it appears that things heat up when the discussion centers on Danielle Staub’s past. Now, with the emergence of legal documents uncovered by TheSmokingGun.com, it looks like her past may be much more checkered than the 46-year-old New Jersey Housewife has been letting on.

According to documents filed in Miami’s U.S. District Court, Staub — then known as Beverly Ann Merrill — and Daniel Aguilar, her alleged drug dealer boyfriend at the time, were arrested by the FBI in June 1986 for holding a man they blamed for a botched cocaine deal for $25,000 in ransom. While Staub has insisted her involvement in the incident was minimal, the documents state that she went so far as to place a phone call to the man’s father to ask for the money — and threatened “injury or death” to the man if it wasn’t delivered.

The documents go on to reveal that Staub was arrested at a Miami apartment, where police also discovered six kilos of cocaine and $16,000 cash, and that Staub cooperated with the FBI in exchange for a more lenient punishment. The papers appear to confirm several accusations made about Staub in Cop Without a Badge, the now infamous book about her FBI informant ex-husband Kevin Maher that became a major plot-twister on the show this season when it was discovered and brought to light by costars. Staub recently denied the accusations in an interview with PEOPLE, saying she was only an “accessory” in the incident, never worked as a prostitute and never had a cocaine problem.
But according to the papers, Staub was charged with one felony count and convicted of extortion; she “worked for an escort service,” according to an FBI agent on the case; and she was sentenced to drug treatment and weekly urinalysis tests for six months. Two years later, her substance abuse counselor recommended that her “drug aftercare” program be extended, “considering the severity of Beverly’s drug history and her former drug life style.”

[From People]

As if this all weren’t seedy enough, Danielle went to court to get a temporary restraining order so her ex-boyfriend couldn’t release a sex tape of the pair.

Contrary to popular belief, Danielle Staub doesn’t want every aspect of her life captured on camera. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star has obtained a temporary restraining order to prevent an ex-boyfriend from peddling—what else?—a sex tape featuring the duo in presumably happier times.

Stephen Zalewski, who was not in court Wednesday, has also been ordered to gather up all videos and explicit photographs he may have of Staub and appear in court July 21 for a follow-up hearing. But Staub, who easily took the title of housewife with the most skin-crawling back story on the Jersey installment of Bravo’s hit franchise, has only just begun.

She is also suing Zalewski for defamation, invasion of privacy and infliction of emotional distress, claiming he that she didn’t even know the tape existed until he was quoted mentioning it in a Star magazine article.

Ew.

“She cost me so much money, why shouldn’t I make a few dollars?” Zalewski told the magazine, according to the lawsuit.

[From E!]

To quote the eloquent writer at E! “ew.” I believe that’s about the best way to put it. This woman has led an insane life. Sure other people have stories like hers, but few of them end up living in mansions and starring on reality TV shows. I hope. I am seriously afraid she’s got a murder planned as some sort of shocking twist. When you’ve got a history like Danielle’s, nothing’s really surprising anymore.

Here’s a snippet from the show, along with a few mentions of “the book.”

Jessica Simpson’s new VH1 reality series ‘The Price of Beauty’ is a go

wenn24448481
The rumors in May were correct! Jessica Simpson has signed on to star in a new reality series. Only the fancypants at VH1 are calling the show a “docu-series”. Lovely. Other than that, the report from May was pretty accurate – the show will be called The Price of Beauty, and cameras will follow Jessica and some of her friends as they travel the world, “talking to everyday women about the lengths they go for beauty, while investigating — and even participating in — some of their dietary fads, beauty regimens and apparel.” Do you think producers will make Jess wear a burqa? Do you think they’ll bind her feet? Do you think they’ll let the cameras go into the room for Jess’s Brazilian wax?

Jessica released a statement saying how happy she was to sign on for the show, and to her credit, it’s actually a really nice, thoughtful statement. Jess says that she’s always believed that “beauty comes from within and confidence will always make a woman beautiful.” Must. Not. Snark. Seriously, good for Jessica. She needed a career change. Trying her hand at country-western music at the local chili cook-offs wasn’t doing her any favors:

Ever since she performed at a Florida concert last February in high-waisted “mom jeans” that made her the target of scrutiny by body bullies, Jessica Simpson has continued to be critiqued about her figure and her weight. And now it’s her turn to do the scrutinizing in her new VH1 docu-series called The Price of Beauty.

Starting in July, Jessica will travel the globe talking to everyday women about the lengths they go for beauty, while investigating — and even participating in — some of their dietary fads, beauty regimens and apparel.

“When [I was approached] for a show about true beauty, I was immediately intrigued,” Jessica said in a statement. “I have always believed that beauty comes from within and confidence will always make a woman beautiful, but I know how much pressure some women put on themselves to look perfect. I am really looking forward to discovering how beauty is perceived in different cultures and participating in some of the crazy things people do to feel beautiful. I know we will all learn a lot on this journey.”

Simpson seems to have moved past the criticism targeted at her earlier in the year, and is looking forward to the next chapter in her career.

“Jessica is so excited to start shooting the show,” says a source close to the pop star. “She has been doing research into some of the insane things people do to try to make themselves more beautiful and she is shocked. She thinks it will be fun to try some of them.”

[From People]

Part of the reason I feel for Jessica is that whenever something good happens for her, there are always signposts of coming dangers. While The Price of Beauty sounds like an interesting concept, and will probably be a half-decent show, the coming danger is the same as it’s always been: Pervert Papa Joe Simpson. Papa Joe is executive producing The Price of Beauty for Jessica – I guess because he’s done such a bang-up job with her career thus far? Need I type “chili cook-off” again? However, MTV is also reporting that Jessica is an executive producer as well. Maybe things will work out for my girl. Here’s hoping.

Lindsay Lohan reality show won’t be about stalking Samantha Ronson

31840pcn_lilo12
Lindsay Lohan is still totally stalking on-again (sort of, who knows?) lover Samantha Ronson. This comes after Lindsay basically followed Samantha around London like a lost puppy – and when Lohan wasn’t around Samantha, she got wasted and complained to everyone who would listen that she felt so, like, caged. After Lohan followed Sam back to Los Angeles, the stalking has continued, but according to paparazzi and gossip sources, Samantha is getting really tired of the drama.

According to the latest report from The Gossip Girls, Lindsay showed up at Sam’s house late Friday night in utter desperation. Of course, the paps were there, and they watched as Lindsay waited for a long time on Sam’s doorstep before finally letting her in. Apparently, Lindsay was “in tears” as she waited.

That came just one night after Lohan went out with Ryan Seacrest, then spent the night at his house. According to multiple reports, Ryan wants to produce a reality show for Lindsay. But don’t get your hopes up for some kind of “Chaotic Part Deux: The Lindsay and Samantha Show”. According to Seacrest sources, the show would be of the feel-good self-help variety, in which people are given money to finance their second chances. Lindsay, it is said, would be either the host or one of the judges or something like that:

Ryan Seacrest and Lindsay Lohan were spotted out together in Hollywood Thursday night, but it turns out that their meetup was strictly business.

“Met with Lindsay last night about a show idea I have for her…it helps people and gives others a second shot!” Ryan wrote on his Twitter page on Friday, one day after he and the actress went to H.Wood in L.A. “Still putting it all together.”

The American Idol host is no stranger to producing. In addition to his radio hosting gig, the star has lent his TV production talents to E!’s Keeping Up with the Kardashians as well as Brody Jenner MTV show, Bromance.

Lohan also mentioned details of the project on her Twitter page Friday.

“Working on a really great project for television — I am excited!” she wrote. “Something meaningful like Extreme Home Makeover on ABC… :)

According to TMZ.com, the premise of the potential series is that real people who are on the wrong track and looking for a second chance are given $1 million to make it happen. Lohan, no stranger to the concept, would likely serve on a panel of judges who hear contestants’ stories.

[From US Weekly]

I really think Lindsay might do better with just a simple reality show about her – just cameras following her around and she does her thing. Basically, what is happening now, only the cameras would have a bit more access, and they could force Lindsay to do some of sort of confessional thing, Real World-style. This would also work better because Lindsay can’t stand when anyone pulls focus from what’s really important – her and her alone.

Heidi and Spencer to go back on “I’m a Celebrity” for the finale

31206PCN_SpeidiVid

Heidi and Spencer Pratt seem to be willing to do just about anything to get away from the Costa Rican jungle and the set of “I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!” – and just about anything else to get back there. They’re like that couple that keeps breaking up and getting back together, and you can’t help but wonder if it’s because the make up sex is so great or they’re just comfortable with each other. Because you can tell just from five minutes with them that it isn’t because the relationship is so great.

Heidi and Spencer first left the show after learning they weren’t going to be housed in the Four Seasons and would instead have to live with the rest of the celebrities. Then they came back, because what’s the big deal with some snakes and dirt beds when there’s attention to be had? Then they left again (jungles are gross), and now they’re coming back for the (hopefully) last time.

Heidi and Spencer Pratt just can’t get enough of the jungle.

After several attempts to quit before officially leaving I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! on June 8, the Hills stars are returning to the show again, Usmagazine.com confirms.

The newlyweds will join the entire cast of the NBC reality series on the June 25 finale, a network source tells Us.

The last time the Pratts were in the Costa Rican jungle, Heidi was rushed to a local hospital to be treated for a gastric ulcer after spending the night in the “Lost Chamber.”

When they return to the show, they will be joined by Heidi’s sister, Holly Montag, who made her debut on the I’m a Celebrity last week.

Honestly I don’t blame them for hightailing it after the spider-dropping night in the “Lost Chamber.” And I’m no doctor, but I’m close (webmd is my BFF), and I don’t think there’s any way you could fake a gastric ulcer. Not that I feel badly for Speidi by any means, but I get where they were they were coming from.
In related news, Lauren Conrad says that Spencer never really apologized to her for spreading those sex tape rumors. The producers just filmed him talking into a phone: she wasn’t on the other end.

Lauren Conrad says Spencer Pratt never apologized for spreading those sex tape rumors.

In an interview on The View Monday, Pratt said he agreed to apologize to Conrad to get her to go to his wedding with Heidi Montag, calling his apology a wedding gift for his wife. (On the May finale, Pratt is seen calling Conrad at work and expressing his regret.)

But when Conrad appeared on The View Thursday, she smiled, paused and rolled her eyes when asked about the incident.

“Did you feel like it was a sincere apology when it came from him?” Elisabeth Hasselbeck asked.

“To be perfectly honest, I wasn’t on the other end of that call,” Conrad replied. “That was filmed, and I wasn’t on the other end. So I didn’t even know about it until [it was on TV]. So, no, I didn’t get an apology. He lied.”

My first thought was, “I’d be really pissed if that were my wedding present.” But then I remembered that Heidi’s present to Spencer was a performance of her song “Sex Ed” – at their wedding. And since nothing could be worse than that, Spencer was really off the hook. “Off the hook” meaning the bar was set low, not “off the hook” like off the hizzle. Just wanted to clarify.

So when do the baby rumors start?
