Back in April, Vanity Fair held an online poll to determine “the most beautiful woman in the world”. Vanity Fair had a pre-set list of beautiful women – everyone from Penelope Cruz to Queen Rania of Jordan, from Gisele Bundchen to Halle Berry. As it turned out, the earliest contender ended up winning the challenge, and Angelina Jolie was crowned “the most beautiful” after thousands of votes had been cast.

Someone at Vanity Fair was having fun, so they decided to host another online poll – this time for the world’s “most handsome man”. The list does include some of the most spectacular-looking men in the world. Here’s Vanity Fair’s complete list: Javier Bardem, David Beckham, Gael García Bernal, Tom Brady, George Clooney, Daniel Craig, Johnny Depp, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jakob Dylan, Nacho Figueras, James Franco, Jon Hamm, Hugh Jackman, Taylor Kitsch, Clive Owen, Robert Pattinson, Brad Pitt, and Denzel Washington. So, with that kind of line up of hot men, who would you imagine the early contenders to be? I just cast my vote for Clive Owen, but I would think perhaps Johnny Depp, Leonardo DiCaprio or George Clooney would the winning the first rounds. Not so much – even Brad “Twelve Percent” Pitt isn’t doing so well. The poll has been consumed by Twihards! Currently, Robert Pattinson (and his albeit lovely jawline) has 59% of the votes! Do Twihards even read Vanity Fair? Who alerted them to the poll?

Now, I love me some R-Pattz. I have become a convert. I love the way his shoulders slump a little, and I’ve begun to enjoy the Teen Beat-quality coverage of Pattinson’s every move. I like his messy hair, and I have dreams about his profile. My desire for R-Pattz makes me feel cougar-ish, and I’m not even that much older than him! Now that I’ve established my love for R-Pattz, I would like to speak directly to the Twihards. Robert Pattinson is not the most beautiful man in the world. That’s enough. We’re all crushing on him like crazy, and he is a very cute young man, but he’s not the end-all of manly beauty. Can this obsession be over soon?

In July’s Interview Magazine, both Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are interviewed – separately. Kristen’s interview was a lot longer, and more boring. But R-Pattz’s little mini-interview is so cute! He talks about how he was a child model when he 12 years old to the age of 15, when he “stopped looking like a girl”. Cough cough stopped? cough. No, I joke because I love. They also asked him about people saying he’s the next Jude Law. That’s something I had never heard, but I find it fits. When Jude first broke out, it wasn’t quite like the Twi-hard drama, but Jude was still the prettiest man ever. And Jude had a really devoted fanbase – myself included. Let’s say a little prayer that R-Pattz doesn’t end up bangin’ the nanny ten years from now. I shall go light a candle!

Alert the tabloids: Harry Potter actor linked to drug house! Twenty-two-year-old Robert Pattinson fondly recalls his time living in a “cool little ex-crack den” in London with best friend Tom Sturridge.

He’s joking (we think) about their bad behavior as struggling young actors. “We spent the -better part of a year just getting drunk every night,” Pattinson admits. “I don’t know if that counts as ‘struggling.’”

After the debauchery ended, Pattinson co-starred as Cedric Diggory in two Harry Potter movies. A former child model-he posed professionally from ages 12 to 15 (“when I stopped looking like a girl”)-Pattinson has been dubbed “the next Jude Law” in the British press.

“I don’t really see the similarity,” he says.

One opportunity to break out comes via next year’s Little Ashes, a Spanish drama in which Pattinson stars as the young Salvador Dalí. But first, there’s the vampire thriller Twilight, based on the popular teen books, in which Pattinson plays Edward, a 108-year-old bloodsucker in love with a high school girl.

Horror fans are already stalking him. “It’s funny,” Pattinson says, “because teenage girls would say, ‘Oh, my God, you’re Cedric!’ It switched in a week to ‘Oh, my God, it’s Edward!’ Allegiances change so freely in the teen-girl world.”

Unlike OK!, Life & Style isn’t claiming some big romance between the two actors, the tabloid just claims to give “behind the scenes” info on New Moon. Yawn. More romance!

OK! Magazine’s cover story is devoted to the would-be romance between Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson. It’s called “YES! They’re In Love” and has a picture from R-Pattz and K-Stew’s MTV Movie Award “Best Kiss” win, where they totally left the audience hanging. Sidenote: The best part about the cover is Robert Pattinson’s gorgeous profile, where I can stare at his jawline to my heart’s content.

Anyway, the story seems, for the most part, based on my observation (and everyone else’s) that Robert Pattinson is just itching to get with K-Stew, and she’s making him beg for it. Yesterday, we heard from an unnamed source that R-Pattz is “obsessed” with K-Stew, but unfortunately, OK! doesn’t have such expressive unnamed sources. The best they’ve got is “Although [Robert] knew Kristen had a boyfriend, he made no secret of the fact that he was crazy about her…. The problem is, she’s torn between her onscreen and off-screen loves.” Yeah, right. I don’t think Kristen is “torn” about anything:

As Twilight stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart took the stage to accept the prize for Best Kiss at the May 31 MTV Movie Awards, the apparent hormonal combustion ignited Universal City’s Gibson Amphitheatre and flew out over the airwaves to 5.3 million viewers worldwide.

Ditching his chewing gum, the smoldering Robert braced himself for a steamy smooch with his onscreen paramour; Kristen stood hands on hips, seemingly daring him on. They drew closer, and Rob’s lips parted, while the erotic heat built to an unbearable pitch.

Then, at the last second, “Bella the Reluctant Virgin” demurred and pulled away, leaving “Edward the Conflicted Vampire” … dangling.

“Thank you sooo much,” Stewart told the audience, sounding every bit the 19-year-old from L.A.

Were all those feverish pheromones for real, or were the onscreen lovers merely doing their best to create a romantic Hollywood illusion? Rumors have been rampant that the introverted, guitar-playing Rob, a 23-year-old Brit who is arguably filmdom’s foremost fantasy, has been nursing an unrequited passion for his leading lady, who has been dating actor Michael Angarano, 21, for five years.

“Robert and Kristen spent a lot of time alone together when they filmed the first Twilight movie — they’d stay up most of the night talking, laughing, playing music,” a friend of Stewart tells OK!. “Although [Robert] knew Kristen had a boyfriend, he made no secret of the fact that he was crazy about her.”

Clearly, there is a mutual attraction.

“Kristen and Robert hit it off the minute they were introduced,” Kristen’s friend says.

“When they auditioned together for the first time [back in 2007], sparks flew. The problem is, she’s torn between her onscreen and off-screen loves.”

Michael, for his part, has had enough of the scuttlebutt. “A lot of guys would not be as understanding as Michael has been,” says the friend. “But one thing Michael is not quite as understanding of is all the gossip about her and Pattinson.”

Yeah, Michael’s going to be out of the boyfriend business very soon if Robert Pattinson keeps looking at Kristen longingly and adoringly, with those smoldering eyes. Sigh. I love teenage romance drama. And this is real, too! It’s not like the old-school Britney Spears-Justin Timberlake crap, which was like two corporations fighting over a product launch. The K-Stew/R-Pattz drama feels … authentic. Like there’s real emotion, longing and sexual attraction behind it. That’s just my reading of it, though.

Kristen Stewart also sat down with Interview Magazine, in an interview conducted by Jon Favreau (the actor/director, not the Obama speechwriter). It pretty boring, but you can read the full interview here. These are some of the highlights:

“Well, this is never something that I sought out. For most actors, it’s such a struggle to get work. Once they have it, they feel that there’s an enormous amount of pressure on them to make it work, and have everyone love them. In my case, it was never like that. It was just about working with the people that I want to work with, and telling the stories that I want to tell, you know? And, you’re right, it was also because my whole family is involved in the entertainment industry in some way. My brother’s a grip. My mom’s a scriptwriter. My dad’s a director. So it’s like, at heart I’m a below-the-line girl.”

“It’s funny. When I stopped going to school, I got the strongest dose of perspective. When you’re a kid, your friends, your school, your teachers, your family-that’s your whole world, your whole existence. And then when I stopped going, I lost all my friends but the few that were really close to me. And I still maintain those friendships. My friends who are still going to school are still totally caught up in it. When they graduate, they’re going to experience the exact same thing that I did. I just went through it when I was in the seventh grade as opposed to the twelfth.”

Have I been reading K-Stew wrong? Perhaps she’s not the snotty brat I thought she was, she’s just a bright, self-sufficient girl who isn’t into all of the “Young Hot Starlet” stuff. As time passes, and it’s clear that she still hasn’t put out for R-Pattz, I find that I really have to give her credit for not falling for the first British guy with a great jawline. She’s a better woman than me.

Just to toot my own horn, but I totally called it! I’ve laid out on two separate occasions my theory for the dynamics between Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson. Just yesterday, talking about the MTV Movie Awards, I was writing about how R-Pattz seems way more into K-Stew than she to him. And way back in April, I wrote this little gem about whether R-Pattz was trying to sleep with both Kristen and Nikki Reed while working on New Moon: “He’s probably trying to get in K-Stew’s pants as well. But is K-Stew putting out? It seems like she’s playing him as much as Pattz is trying to be a player. And I totally believe that Pattz is the kind of guy who would ignore the girl he’s really sleeping with (Nikki) because the girl he wants to sleep with (K-Stew) comes in the room.” R-Pattz later denied the reports that he and K-Stew were hooking up, which I interpreted as “K-Stew hasn’t given it up yet.”

Now, for the confirmation. True, this is a quote by an unnamed source to Gatecrasher, but I love when anyone confirms my theories about Teen Beat-esque hookups. The source told Gatecrasher that “Robert is obsessed with Kristen and has been for a while.” Aha! It’s like my favorite story in the world: hot British guy meets snotty American girl, British guy follows girl around like a lost puppy, boy grovels, girl makes him beg for it, boy gets obsessed, girl eventually has boy right where she wanted him. A love story for the ages:

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart may not have been just acting when they accepted their MTV Movie Award for “Best Kiss” on Sunday night.

Spies caught the “Twilight Saga: New Moon” co-stars getting cozy on an intimate date at hip Los Angeles eatery Cecconi’s following the awards show. The pair – who so far have claimed to be just friends – looked anything but as they held hands throughout the meal.

While Stewart has been dating fellow actor Michael Arangano for the past four years, her real-life boyfriend was nowhere to be seen as she chatted quietly with Pattinson. After the dinner, which ended around 11 p.m., a police escort brought the pair back to their West Hollywood hotel. Stewart, who at 19 is underage, stayed in, but man-of-the-hour Pattinson left his crush and headed to a late-night fete at Guy’s.

Says an insider of the stars’ budding relationship: “Robert is obsessed with Kristen and has been for a while. He likes that she’s a cool, down-to-earth girl. Kristen never saw Rob as anything but a friend, but that seems to be changing.”

One reason for Stewart’s new interest in her co-star? He’s been bulking up his already enviable bod.

“Taylor [Lautner] been training Rob a lot, and that’s why he’s got such ripped abs,” “New Moon” co-star Kellan Lutz told The News’ Nancy Dillon. “Rob’s been working hard. He’s trying to be the best Edward [Pattinson's character in the films] he can be.”

Stewart and Pattinson also share a love of music. They both play the guitar, with Pattinson even contributing a song to the “Twilight” soundtrack.

Peter Facinelli, who plays Pattinson’s vampire dad in the “Twilight” series, told us: “I love to hear Rob sing. He’s got an insanely good voice. Sometimes we all get together and he gets on the guitar and starts playing and singing. He writes his own material.”
He added, “Kristen has taken up the guitar for the movie she’s doing [on Joan Jett]. Everyone’s been carrying a guitar around.”

I realize that this site doesn’t have the devoted Twi-hard fanbase like some of the other sites, but I have to admit, I’ve really started to love covering this stuff. It really makes me nostalgic for the halcyon days of reading about New Kids on the Block and Kirk Cameron in copies of Teen Beat I bought at the mall. And as I’ve seen more interviews with R-Pattz, I have a little crush on him too. When he’s talking in his little accent, with those lovely shoulders of his stooped a bit, my heart melts. I have a well-documented thing for those tall, lanky guys, especially ones with accents. Even though R-Pattz might be too good for K-Stew, I want him to be happy – so I hope K-Stew gives it up soon. Because that boy wants her really badly.

Robert Pattinson was seen looking ripped and a little sick on the set of New Moon in Italy yesterday. The 23 year-old Vampire-playing heartthrob took off his shirt and sported painted-on spots for a scene in which he kisses his on-screen human love interest, played by Kristen Stewart. Pattinson is so buff it looks like his abs are painted on. I’m beginning to see his appeal.

I don’t pay a lot of attention to the Twilight-related gossip, but Kaiser reported a story yesterday in which a random woman who met Pattinson at a party in Cannes was sort-of claiming to have hooked up with him. It didn’t seem likely to be true, and it looked like the girl was hoping to get some mileage out of being photographed sitting next to Pattinson.

There are all sorts of rumors that Robert and Kristen are hooking up, but that just seems to be based on the fact that the younger cast members party together. Kristen has a long term boyfriend, Michael Angarano, who In Touch reported earlier this month “has been on the New Moon set almost every day.” I wonder if he’s in Italy and if he saw these kissing scenes being shot. You can understand why people think Kirsten and Robert might have something going on. They look pretty cute together and seem to have good chemistry.

Cripes, this is a long story, and I realize most of really don’t care about Robert Pattinson, but I’ve started to feel bad for the kid. He’s in the middle of some skeezy tabloid drama, and it’s just never-ending. It started in Cannes, where R-Pattz showed up to party and be seen. He donated a kiss to amfAR, which got more than $20,000, which is really great (for the charity). He was one of the biggest celebrities to attend the Cannes amfAR event, and I would imagine many people were watching him. So it was strange that only Life & Style came out with this report, about a hook-up R-Pattz allegedly had that night with a wannabe starlet named Erika Dutra. Here’s the original Life & Style report:

Kristen Stewart may be the one Robert Pattinson wants, but while she was filming thousands of miles away, Robert, her New Moon co-star, hooked up with a gorgeous blonde in Cannes!

Los Angeles resident Erika Dutra and Robert were spotted canoodling at the post-party for amfAR Cinema Against AIDS in Cannes.

“Erika was introduced to Robert by a mutual friend at the beginning of the night and he was smitten with her from that point on,” an eyewitness tells Life & Style. “He took pictures of her, sat with her all night, and the two of them were even seen kissing! There was serious chemistry between them, and they looked like they were having an amazing time.”

And it seems the night didn’t end there for the two: “Erika and Robert even left the party together!” the eyewitness reveals.

Lainey at LaineyGossip was at Cannes, however, and she and her friend saw R-Pattz the night before at the Hotel du Cap. R-Pattz was apparently having a meal with his manager when Emile Hirsch and a couple of girls came over to the table and sat down. One of the girls was this Erika Dutra girl, and Lainey reports that the picture of R-Pattz and Erika from Life & Style is from the night before the amfAR benefit. Lainey’s stuff is really long-winded, but you can read it in full here. Here are some of the highlights:

First – the amfAR event was loaded with journalists. Many, many journalists. It would however seem that the only witness to Pattinson’s supposed hookup with this blonde was Life & Style’s source. Because everyone else – and trust me, EVERYONE was watching him that night, including several with a vested interest and much to gain from a Robert Pattinson romance story – observed that he was actually really low key that night, spoke with Emile Hirsch and a few other celebrities, was not drinking heavily, and certainly did not spend most of the night, if any part of the night, in the exclusive company of “Erika”.

Speaking of Emile Hirsch though – you can blame him for Pattinson getting sold out. Because it’s his friend who did it… a friend of Emile Hirsch misrepresented herself. A friend of Emile Hirsch sold out Robert Pattinson. These photos are being sold in high quality. Which means you can’t blame Facebook because the only way they can be sold in HQ is if they’re the originals. Oh wait, let me guess, her camera was stolen.

Is Erika an aspiring actress? Or hard up for cash?

As for whether or not she left with Pattinson after amfAR, we’re not sure she was even AT amfAR. And again, he was being watched all night. No one else seems to be able to corroborate Life & Style’s account.

Three possibilities:

1. Erika did not f-ck Pattinson the night at the du Cap because if they did go to bed, in selling these pictures, she’s effectively killed any other chance of going to bed with him again.
2. He turned her down, this is why she’s selling the photos, figuring she may as well profit from his rejection
3. She did f-ck him, doesn’t care to f-ck him again, and figures she should profit from their night together

“We had a great time together! Rob’s very sweet,” Erika Dutra gushes to Star through giggles in our June 8 issue. “He’s even better-looking in person than he is in photographs.”

Erika’s friend Amika Akaya adds that she’s not surprised her pal caught Rob’s eye. “Not only is she beautiful, but she’s also a really great person — fun, outgoing and supersweet,” she tells Star.

Oh, barf. This is really sleazy. R-Pattz probably didn’t even kiss this girl and she’s out there selling photographs of the two of them on the terrace of the Hotel du Cap, giving quotes to tabloids about how great he is. As if, magically, casting directors will want to meet with her if she sells this alleged hookup hard enough. See? Don’t you feel bad for R-Pattz?

The Foundation for Aids Research, amfAR, held an auction on Thursday night in Cannes to raise awareness and money for the foundation. Among the items auctioned off were Bill Clinton’s saxophone, a private screening of Inglourious Basterds, and a kiss on the cheek from Robert Pattinson. The pecks went for $20,000 each to two different bidders, who as far as we know were not screaming adolescent girls.

Josh Hartnett was also at the gala, along with Paris Hilton, Sharon Stone, and Dita von Teese. He offered to strip to his birthday suit for money, but the bidding “never got high enough.” I guess as soon as you hook up with Sienna Miller, everything is downhill from there.

The amfAR event certainly wasn’t short on star power. As the auction took place on a variety of items, Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson, Hayden Panettiere, Michelle Yeoh and Dita von Teese got on stage to boost the bidding. Earlier, host Sharon Stone paid moving tribute to the late Natasha Richardson, whose efforts were tied to the charity.

In a lighter moment, Josh Hartnett offered to strip – for money that would go to research for an AIDS cure – but the bidding never got high enough.

Diane Kruger nearly fell off a Chanel transporter she was trying to sell on stage but was rescued gallantly by beau Joshua Jackson. David Furnish, husband of Elton John, generously sold his own watch.

Then there was special guest former President Bill Clinton, who urged the others to open their purses and wallets. “Everyone in this room is better off than 99.9 percent of people on this entire earth,” he told the gathering, which also included Marion Cotillard, Robin Wright Penn, Eva Herzigova and Paris Hilton.

Clinton even went so far as to donate his own Alpine Alto saxophone – and it went for a staggering $130,000.

The article also mentions that Donatella Versace designed the event, and it was a huge success. Over $1 million was raised for the charity. Harvey Weinstein, a chairman of amfAR, said that even in this tough economy, the turnout was one of the best in 15 years.

If you’ve got the money, why not get a kiss from Edward Cullen, make a tax-free donation, and feel good about yourself? Maybe celebrities should be spending more money on kisses instead of dead birds and crystal-embellished dashboards. Spread the love.

The reports have been coming in pretty steadily that Robert Pattinson is hooking up with at least one of his New Moon co-stars. Some say Kristen Stewart, some say Nikki Reed, some say both. But even a smelly, small-wanged womanizer needs more than two co-stars and a buffet of Teen Beat readers. He needs a professional. A professional stripper, that is.

Is seems R-Pattz has a thing for a local Canadian stripper named “Kendra”. Kendra works at Brandi’s Exotic Nightclub in Vancouver, and R-Pattz has visited her several times. Kendra is apparently a Bo Derek look-alike, and R-Pattz loves a good lap dance. This is gross, right? Even though it’s obvious to me that R-Pattz isn’t God’s gift, I will acknowledge that he still doesn’t have to pay for it.

The attention of gorgeous costars — and red-blooded women the world over — has failed to quench Rob Pattinson’s thirst for affection!

In the May 18 issue of Star, we report that as if British hunk doesn’t have enough ladies in his life with his Twilight costars Nikki Reed and Kristen Stewart both crushing on him, he’s added another woman to the mix — a stripper!

While shooting New Moon in Canada, he’s made not one but two trips to Brandi’s Exotic Nightclub in Vancouver, where he became infatuated with a curvaceous dancer named Kendra.

The night they met, Rob followed the hot blonde into a private room for a lap dance and he must have liked what he saw because he returned asking for her two days later.

“She’s very pretty and very sexy,” one insider at Brandi’s says about the object of Rob’s affection. “She reminds me of Bo Derek in 10.”

Out of all of the celebrity magazines and tabloids, OK! Magazine seems to be the most focused on the whole Twilight/New Moon hysteria. They devoted their cover to New Moon this week, and today they put up an “exclusive” interview with Ashley Greene, who plays Edward‘s (Robert Pattinson) sister Alice. When asked about R-Pattz’s extensive time in the make-up and hair trailers, Ashley says that Robert “likes being pretty! No, I think any guy [actor] is kind of like, eh. But it’s part of the job.”

Ashley also lets loose a little bit about Robert’s single status, and his maybe-crush on Kristen Stewart: “Rob’s always like, “I don’t belong here, what’s going on?” He’s not the most sociable. He’s not one of those people who can go and talk to anyone. He’s kind of a hermit and a little awkward. He got thrust into this limelight, but he’s dealing with it. I think it’d be kind of difficult for anyone… I think he’s loving being single. He’s pretty much one of the most eligible bachelors out there right now. So if he was sad before [about Kristen], I think that he’s all right now.”

Megan Fox’s publicity tour for the Transformers sequel is gearing up, and that includes a rather funny interview with Elle Magazine (story via Radar Online). Megan, who is still with Brian Austin Green, claims she isn’t interested in guys her own age, like, at all. Megan is 22 years old (she turns 23 next week), and she finds her male contemporaries untrustworthy and boring.

She singles out Robert Pattinson and Zac Effron specifically, saying “they’re just too pretty, with the big hair and the suits.” I’m totally with her on the Zac Efron thing, but Robert Pattinson and his Teen Beat appeal has started to grow on me a little bit. He’s no teen-heartthrob like Eddie Vedder (swoon), but R-Pattz is a pretty solid first celebrity crush for the tween girls. As far as the “too pretty” thing, the same thing has gone through my mind, I’ll admit, but I’m older than Megan. Could it be that she’s just one of those girls who is only attracted to older men? I can actually relate to that.

Megan Fox sounds off on pretty boys in the June issue of Elle. The Transformers star tells the magazine she goes for older guys—because the ones her age are “immature” and “have nothing to offer conversationally.”

“I’ve lived the life of a 35-year-old since I was 18,” the screen siren says. “I’m so suspicious of boys-slash-men. I just don’t like them or trust them.”

Fox, who is currently on-again with 90210 actor Brian Austin Green, 35, singled out Robert Pattinson and Zac Efron for scrutiny. “[Robert] and Zac — they’re just too pretty, with the big hair and the suits. And Rob is, what, 22? Zac is 21? That’s a joke,” she said.

The actress also responded to rumors that she and Pattinson shared a brief fling earlier this year. “I just randomly asked someone for a light, and it was him. That was the extent of our ‘relationship,” she explains. “But I’m sure there’s going to be a different guy every week now.”

As far as her relationship with Green, it sounds like it’s still going strong. “He’s the one person,” she said, “that I know that if I’m struggling and everything’s getting crazy, I can call.”

There are those girls who seem more worldly than their years, but does it strike anyone else that Megan might actually be lying about her age? It’s no secret that the girl’s had some work done, and she could pass for anywhere between twenty to thirty years old. Yes, at times she seems a little immature, and like a teenager with low self-esteem, but at other times she seems older and wiser. For example, she’s smart enough to know she’s no Cate Blanchett. Yet she’s not smart enough to leave Brian Austin Green for “greener” pastures. Get it? Rimshot! Anyway, is it possible she’s shaved a few years off of her official Hollywood age?

Robert Pattinson, or “R-Pattz” to his friends, is really starting to grow on me. I still don’t see why all of the little girls are totally in a tizzy, but the more I read of R-Pattz, he seems like a pretty funny, half-decent guy. If only I could convince him to wash his hair and close his mouth. Then he would be perfect. Sort of.

So R-Pattz is out promoting his latest film, Little Ashes, where he plays the young Salavador Dali. R-Pattz plays him naked! Oh, the Twilight moms will go see it, but they’ll leave their tween daughters at home. Sometimes I feel like chanting “Full frontal, full frontal!” when I hear of some actor brave enough to drop it all for a film. R-Pattz sat down for an interview with Moviefone, and he jokes about getting a penis implant. Chuckle. Well played, R-Pattz.

Fans who think they could never get enough of Robert Pattinson will probably get what they wished for in upcoming Salvador Dali biopic Little Ashes, in which the Twilight hunk had to bare it all.

So how did he deal with it?

“I had so many ridiculous answers just come into my head,” he laughs in a new interview with Moviefone on how he prepared himself to take it all off. “I had a penis implant!”

But seriously?

“I don’t know, I just kind of, it’s funny because Spanish people are so … have no problem with nudity at all, I mean at all, and English people obviously do have, like, the most enormous problem with it.”

With newfound fame comes embarrassing interviews, as well as a different view of the world around you. And RPatts, who is adored by legions of girls and women the world over, is definitely feeling that change in his daily life.

“It’s quite stressful in a way, but it’s only when you’re by yourself. When I have my friends around it doesn’t make any difference. I just spend a lot of time by myself, and I used to walk around the block by myself in various different cities, and I don’t know, you start to feel a bit vulnerable,” he admits.

The difference is apparent on the set of New Moon as well, he says, as it used to be easy for the cast to get together for dinner every night and just hang out.

” Now it’s quite difficult to even leave the hotel,” he reveals. “And all these random little stories become someway, somehow newsworthy, so you have to be very secretive about everything. Even if you want to just clarify something in the script or something. It’s just strange. It’s just very different … It’s very strange when you’re aware of being observed, I guess.”

Sorry Rob, you’re just too handsome and talented for your own good.

Of course he feels vulnerable, he looks like a stiff breeze could knock him over. Those Twi-moms could rip him apart! Eat something, R-Pattz! Or work out, or something. Little Ashes sounds pretty good, though, I might go to see it. According to Celebuzz, “the story chronicles Dali’s friendships in 1920s Spain with filmmaker Luis Bunuel (played by Englishman Matthew McNulty, 26) and writer Frederico Garcia Lorca (as depicted by 25-year-old Barcelona-native Javier Beltran).” Nice.
