After Sandra Bullock went through all that heartbreak with Jesse James (and arguably Ryan Reynolds, many people didn’t buy them as a romantic couple, but I did!) a lot of us were rooting for her to find a decent non-douchebag non-famous type. If this latest report is accurate that may have happened for her, hooray! OK! is claiming that Sandra has found love in the arms of a producer named Jonathan Komack Martin. Bullock’s rep issued a surprisingly specific denial that the two have been “best friends for 15 years” and that “he co-produced the ‘George Lopez’ show with her and is part of her and her son’s life. He is Ryan Reynolds’ producing partner and they are all very good friends. In addition, the recent photo of them was taken after being followed for two and a half hours to Palm Springs for a memorial.” So he’s just her buddy and they’ve been friends for over a decade, or did it recently develop into something more? Is there a love triangle between Sandra, Ryan, and his BFF Jonathon? An insider says that she’s definitely moved on from Ryan and that she’s getting her mojo back by spending lots of time with the ‘new’ guy!

Sandra Bullock, 47, has a new lease on life — not only because she’s mom to son Louis, but also because she’s found someone who treats her right and makes her laugh, reports OK! Magazine.

On Jan. 22, Sandy and Ryan Reynolds‘s BFF, Jonathon Komack Martin, were snapped stepping out of a white Porsche to attend a private party in L.A. An insider says that Jonathon was “very attentive” and “didn’t leave her side all afternoon.”

So who’s this “new” guy?

From what we know, Jonathon’s the son of a TV sitcom producer and a successful Hollywood producer himself. And he’s actually not really new to the Oscar-winning actress; in fact, they were introduced 15 years ago and even co-produced together on the George Lopez show.

But whatever Sandy’s true feelings are towards him, her lips are zipped.

“She’s being extremely secretive, though, which is typical,” says the insider. “Even when probed, she won’t reveal much more than saying what a great guy Jonathon is.”

So how does Ry-Ry, 35, feel about his producer friend being stuck to the hip with his former rumored gf? “Ryan isn’t annoyed or angry about Sandy spending so much time with Jonathon, but it’s a surprise to him,” reveals the insider.

Unlike Ryan, who’s been busy dating 24-year-old Blake Lively, Jonathon’s been a dependable companion for Sandy to lean on.

“She’s been pretty down for months. But these days, there seems to be a spring in her step,” explains the insider who feels Jonathon’s kept her smiling. “Sandra can trust Jonathon and right now that’s what she needs most. She’s just been so let down in the past, she really needs a good guy who can be there for her.”

I so want this to happen for Sandy, but it sounds like all they’ve got is the detail that this guy attended a party with her and was by her side, which was explained away in detail by the rep. Who knows what’s true or if OK! is only going by the paparazzi photos and doesn’t have any other source. I like that she’s got her private life on lockdown, and I like that she hasn’t jumped into another relationship and is focusing on being a mom. I don’t think there’s much to this story, but I would be happy if I’m wrong. Sandy deserves some good lovin’ and I still find her awesome. JJ didn’t taint her in my eyes.

Update: Sandra gave a really sweet statement denying this story to Gossip Cop. She said:

”For over a decade now, I have been so lucky to have Jonathon and Ryan as my friends, and I agree with the reports that they are both very handsome and a great catch!”

She continues, “But the only man who has stolen my heart is my son. And for now I wouldn’t have it any other way!”

Dear Hollywood: This is why more women need to be more films. Because sausage-party photo calls are SO BORING. These are pics of Ryan Reynolds and Denzel Washington at the Madrid photo call for their new film, Safe House. I saw the trailer recently, and I wasn’t very impressed – here it is:

It’s like they’re refiguring the Jason Bourne formula, right? And are we buying Ryan Reynolds as the reluctant action star? Are we buying Denzel as the badass super-spy? I don’t know. It just seems like a weird movie.

As for the photo call – Ryan looks good, I have to admit. He doesn’t look so gerbily, and he doesn’t look he’s gone overboard on the bronzer. Blake Lively’s influence, I’m hoping. Denzel, meanwhile, looks like he’s about to punch someone in the face. Ryan, perhaps. People Mag had an interesting story about what happened between Ryan and Denzel while they filmed Safe House:

It turns out that action star Ryan Reynolds may be just as dangerous off-screen as he is on. Denzel Washington says that Reynolds gave him a black eye while they were filming Safe House in South Africa.

“I’ve never had a black eye in my life!” Washington, 57, told reporters Saturday while promoting the film, which hits theaters Feb. 10. “There’s a scene where I reach over to try to choke him while I have handcuffs on. We were flying around in the car. It just happened that as I was reaching forward he was flying back … and POW.”

Reynolds, 35, plays a CIA newbie who is forced to watch over Washington, a notorious fugitive. The two eventually end up on the run together, with plenty of brawls between the brawny costars.

Reynolds joked that this punch was a highlight of his career. “That was my early retirement,” he said. “I’ve given Denzel Washington a black eye and I should probably go home.” But Reynolds admitted that he was a little embarrassed after the incident, saying, “It was weird to feel my face on fire.”

Regardless, said Reynolds, “I’m glad I was your first. If it had to be anyone, it was an apologetic Canadian.”

Back when Ryan Reynolds was married to Scarlett Johansson, Ryan spent the spring and summer of 2010 down in New Orleans filming The Green Lantern. Blake Lively was the “love interest” in that film, and there were rumors (vague rumors) that Blake and Ryan might have gotten very close during filming. As I said, Ryan was with ScarJo then, and Blake was with Penn Badgley. Both Penn and ScarJo were often in New Orleans to see their significant others, and while there were rumors that Blake was “baking cupcakes” for Ryan, most people thought that Ryan didn’t screw around on Scarlett. Months passed, and Ryan and Scarlett split up and Blake ended up spending time as Leonardo DiCaprio’s girlfriend, only to dump him (?!) and run full speed to Ryan.

Here’s the question, though: given the fact that Ryan and Blake seem so loved up so quickly, does it make you feel differently about the first round of rumors when both were attached to other people? Is it possible that Ryan and Blake’s love affair actually began in the summer of 2010? Well, whatever happened, it seems like New Orleans might be a special place for them, because People Mag is reporting that Blake and Ryan spent a long weekend in NOLA. Getting ice cream and sex-filled doughnuts.

After being seen all cozy together last year in New York and in Boston, followed by the couple’s holiday visit with his family in Vancouver, it seemed some distance could have possibly developed between Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively.

Had the romance Gone South? Sure enough – to the Big Easy, where the Reynolds, 35, and Lively, 24, were spotted this weekend all over New Orleans, the very city where they had shot The Green Lantern.

On Friday, an eyewitness saw the two at the Creole Creamery, a cute, Uptown ice cream parlor.

“Ryan comes in here sometimes when he’s in town,” said the observer, adding: “They seemed to want their privacy and sat close together in a corner of the store while they were eating and talking. They did leave the store holding hands, though – super sweet!”

According to another sighting on Twitter, Friday included the couple’s visit to the Café du Monde, a French market stand famous for its coffee with chicory and its donut-like beignets.

When the stars were promoting Green Lantern last summer, both spoke of their love of New Orleans, which Reynolds called “one of the most exciting, incredible communities in the world. … You’re going to hear some of the best jazz music, eat some of the best food and see some of the best entertainment in the world.”

Added Lively, “You could spend your life trying to uncover all the treasures in New Orleans and not even scratch the surface.”

So have they returned to the city where their love initially blossomed, or did they just decide to take a little vacation to a city that they both love? I don’t know what to think. Maybe they just wanted to get away from their constantly warring dog friends.

From the very beginning of Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ torrid affair, it was immediately obvious who the REAL stars were – the dogs. Ryan is so vanilla, and Blake is so… Blake. But their dogs are awesome. And the dogs often make it into the paparazzi shots too. Ryan’s beloved puppy is a golden retriever mix named Baxter – Blake was even photographed walking Baxter in NYC a month ago. Blake’s puppy is a Maltipoo named Penny. Penny is adorable and probably weighs about five pounds, if that. Five pounds of pure rage and puppy jealousy, apparently. According to the Enquirer, Penny is totally a diva, and she doesn’t like sharing her mom with that bastard Baxter.

Love may be in the air for Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, but their dogs are at each other’s throats! Blake’s pint-sized Maltipoo, Penny, is used to being the center of attention and hates it when her owner showers Ryan’s friendly golden retriever mix, Baxter, with affection. Now pals say the war of the dogs has escalated to the point where it’s affecting the couple’s sex life!

“Penny is a real diva and is accustomed to getting her own way,” a source told The Enquirer. “She’s having a terrible time adjusting to Ryan and Baxter sharing her turf! Blake constantly spoiled Penny and made her the center of her world. Now, with Baxter as competition, she growls and bares her teeth whenever Blake pets or plays with Ryan’s pooch!”

Initially, Ryan and Blake thought handling the canine conflict would be good practice for dealing with children in the future. But they might never get to that point because the dogfight has spilled into the bedroom!

“They both love to sleep with their dogs on the bed – but Penny wants to be the only pooch in the room,” explained the source. “She tries to scare Baxter away. Ryan and Blake spend so much time trying to break up the feuding dogs, when it’s time to go to bed they’re so exhausted the last thing they think of is romance.”

The source continues, “Blake and Ryan are really in love… they just wish their four-legged friends would get along too!”

LOL, it’s just a funny story, and God knows, it might even be true. Penny seems like she could be a diva, and it does seem like it’s always the little dogs who are always trying to start something. Baxter is probably looking at Penny like, “You little bitch, I could eat you with one gulp. STFU!” Here’s why I doubt the story though – because everything about Blake is so manicured and perfect – she would NEVER have a dog who misbehaves. NEVER. Baxter, meanwhile, always seems so chill. Most of the time, I don’t even think Ryan keeps Baxter on a leash – which is a sure sign of a well-behaved puppy.

We all know what’s going down with Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. We know because Blake wants us to know, and because Ryan is to hypnotized by Blake’s biscuits to care about her famewhore ways right now. Blake and Ryan (RAKE) spent Thanksgiving together. They shacked up in Boston together. They’re apartment-hunting in NYC. They vacationed with Muffy & Boomer in Connecticut. They go to ice cream socials and little out-of-the-way bed & breakfasts, where they are photographed mid-makeout session. And now they’ve spent Christmas together in Canada. Us Weekly SOMEHOW managed to get all of the details:

It was a crisp 35 degrees in Vancouver on December 20. So naturally, Blake Lively was all bundled up while picking out a birthday cake with her new boyfriend, Ryan Reynolds, for his dad at Original Cupcakes. But the Gossip Girl star really warmed up when the Canada native selected a few special treats just for her.

“The salesperson told them Jay-Z had come in a few days earlier and bought an eggnog cupcake for Beyonce,” a source tells Us, “So Ryan ordered six of them for Blake!”

That kind of simple romantic gesture is one way the actor, 35, has won over Blake after two months of dating. And sources say Lively, 24, is just as giving.

“She’s making an equal, is not greater, effort to make Ryan happy,” says one insider of the couple. Indeed, a caring girlfriend who whips up homemade dinners and prefers home-movie nights to premieres seems to be an ideal antidote for Reynolds after his rocky marriage to Scarlett Johansson.

“Scarlett treated Ryan badly, so he loves the comfort that Blake provides,” says the source. “It’s like, ‘You were on the cover of Vogue and you want to cook me dinner? Yes, please!’”

While in Vancouver, a Reynolds family dinner was on the itinerary, and a trip to the Granville Island Public Market, where Lively bonded with Reynolds’ mom, Tammy. “Blake and Ryan held hands and Tammy had her hand on Blake’s back as they walked around,” says an eyewitness. “They laughed all the way to the car – and Blake let Tammy have the front seat!”

The duo is making the most of their holiday time together – “They love to sit at home and cuddle,” adds the insider. “Those two are over-the-moon in love.”

“They love to sit at home and cuddle.” Just gag me. I know, I know. I’m often accused of thinking, talking and writing like a dude, but really, Ryan needs a much butcher image than cuddlefesting with his Gossip Girl. That being said, I get it. Blake is really putting some effort into this relationship, and I do believe that she and Ryan are truly loved up, in every sense. Now, do I believe that “Scarlett treated Ryan badly, so he loves the comfort that Blake provides”? Eh. I think Ryan is one of those guys who likes “traditional” girls. He wants a girlfriend/wife who will make a fuss over him, cook for him, drop everything to be with him, and act like he’s the center of her universe. Bless her heart, Scarlett didn’t do that. Blake is playing along, though.

A few days ago, Leonardo DiCaprio was photographed with yet another “mystery blonde” – you can see the photo here, at TMZ. Leo is still in Sydney, Australia, filming The Great Gatsby, and I suspect this “mystery blonde” is one in a long line of blondes whose names are all a mystery to Leonardo, considering they only get a few hours of his time each night. That’s just a guess – but Leo doesn’t seem like the kind of guy who mopes around after a breakup, chilling on the couch, eating ice cream. Leo likes to go to clubs and check the scene for fresh blondes. And I’m assuming he’s had a steady supply since Blake left him (and probably before she left him too).

Still, at the end of the day, I still find the pairing of Leonardo and Blake much more interesting and compelling than Blake and Ryan Reynolds. My love affair with Bleo is unending, and maybe it’s the hopeless romantic in me (hint: I’m not a hopeless romantic), but I don’t believe we’ve seen the end of Bleo. Love is blind, but Blake Lively is keeping her eyes – and options – wide open in her relationship with Ryan Reynolds! According to an insider, her ex Leonardo DiCaprio is still in the picture and she keeps tabs on how he feels about her through mutual friends: “Blake likes knowing she has a safety net,” says the insider.

Surely, Ryan wouldn’t be thrilled to know that Blake has lingering feelings for Leo. But he shouldn’t be surprised. Blake raised brows in October when she immediately rebounded with Ryan after ending her five-month relationship with Leo.

Blake dove headfirst into the relationship with Ryan, but the more she’s gotten to know him, the more she misses Leo – and his A-list lifestyle. Fingers crossed that some part of this is true. That Blake keeps tabs on Leo, that Leo might feel like there’s unfinished business with one of the rare girlfriends who walked out on him (or at least made it seem like that publicly). Of course Leo would take her back. If she begged! Would Blake beg? I think she might – but only if she got really dicked over by Ryan, which isn’t as impossible as some of you like to think. I don’t think Ryan is an incredibly nice, open and giving man. But maybe he’s changing for Blake. Because she’s that powerful!

PS… Will Blake do the awards show circuit? You know she’ll be invited to present at some of the shows – probably Critics Choice, maybe the Globes. Will she and Leo be at the same awards show? I’m not even going to ask if she and Ryan will walk the red carpet together – they won’t. But I could see Blake going as a free agent, a smiley, happy fashion girl who doesn’t have a care in the — “OH HI LEO!”

These are photos from last Friday’s grand opening of the Apple Store at Grand Central Station in NYC. Blake Lively was there – because she’s an Apple girl? Can we talk about her coat for a minute? I would like to see a version of the coat without the Christmas-tree skirt draped around her shoulders. What’s that? THAT is part of the design of the coat?!? Hideous. But I guess we should praise Blake for being covered up – she hardly ever wears this much.

It’s holiday time in the city, and Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are making the most of it – criss-crossing Manhattan on Saturday for a double-date breakfast on the Lower East Side and coffee in the West Village.

The couple, who’ve been heating up as the temperatures drop, joined Lively’s sister Robin and her husband for breakfast at one of Blake’s favorite restaurants in the city, the Stanton Social.

The couple shared a breakfast of doughnuts, tacos de huevos, bacon-egg-and-cheese biscuits, pierogies and muffins. They were very cuddly, giggling and leaning on each other in the booth.

In addition, the new couple hit up coffee shop Mojo on Charles Street in the West Village. They were touchy-feely, with Reynolds, 35, dressed in checked slacks, Chucks and a henley layered under a sweater, and Lively, 24, wearing a curve-hugging charcoal shift, netted tights and boots. Lively chatted with patrons as she waited for her coffee, even introducing herself to one. The Gossip Girl star also seemed taken with a piece of art that looked like a collage of gumballs, snapping a pic on her iPhone.

Sigh… that’s a lot of breakfast, right? That’s a lot of carbs. I’m not sure that I buy that Blake eats doughnuts and muffins and biscuits and pierogies and all of that. But maybe Ryan likes girls that eat. And Blake is changing for him! Sigh…

Yesterday, TMZ got their hands on exclusive photos of Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds vacationing in Utah – you should definitely go look at TMZ’s photo gallery here. The body language is really, really interesting. I think the assumption is that Blake either “set up” these candid photos, or that someone close to Blake “leaked” the info as to where Blake and Ryan were staying – the Johnson Mill Bed & Breakfast, because the sign is set up perfectly within the photos. But let’s talk about what the photos show – Ryan looking intensely into Blake’s eyes. Ryan rubbing one of Blake’s hands. Ryan leaning in for another kiss, like he can’t help himself. Ryan holding Blake’s face like he loves to look at her. Blake and Ryan taking coupley photos of themselves and then looking at the photos. Basically, they look like a couple who are totally and completely loved up. If either Blake or Ryan knew that they were being photographed, they are much better actors than I give them credit for.

So… after those photos, am I still rooting for a return of Bleo? Maybe not. I’m willing to admit that Blake and Ryan (Rake!) might make it for a big longer than I originally thought. I’m also taking back my assumption that Blake was the one pushing this relationship so fast – I think Ryan is really into Blake, and he wants to be all loved up with her too. It’s all ice cream socials with Muffy and Boomer in Connecticut and stopping by bed & breakfasts in Utah – and that’s what Ryan wants, I guess. I’m starting to believe those sources claiming that Blake and Ryan are even thinking about marriage.

Oh, and Page Six had this little item this morning – Blake went to visit a duplex penthouse in NYC a few days ago. It’s the same penthouse that she visited with Ryan – are they setting up a little love nest?

Well, it looks like the most boring celebrity couple of the year isn’t going to mix it up by New Year’s. On Friday, I was thrilled with a tabloid report that suggested that Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds might be having issues – allegedly, Blake is already pushing for commitment (like, marriage) and Ryan is all “Hey, this was just a fling, baby.” I had my fingers crossed for a breakup, followed immediately by Blake running back to Leonardo DiCaprio and The Triumphant Return of Bleo. Unfortunately, it looks like Blake and Ryan are still loved up, this time in Connecticut. They were hanging out, doing WASPy things all over the place:

Ryan Reynolds took girlfriend Blake Lively on an old-fashioned date in Connecticut Friday night, where the two held hands and shared ice cream out of the same cup.

The couple spent the evening walking hand in hand at the annual Ridgefield Downtown Holiday Stroll, in picturesque Ridgefield, where carolers roamed the streets, kids posed for pictures with Santa and couples took rides in a horse-drawn carriage.

After strolling around the holiday festival for a bit, Reynolds, 35, and Lively, 24, stopped into Deborah Ann’s Sweet Shoppe, where they “tried a few samples of ice cream off of those little spoons,” says an eyewitness at the ice cream parlor.

“They picked their own flavors, English Toffee and Chocolate Fudge Brownie, but put them in the same cup and shared it.”

“They left holding hands,” says the eyewitness, who further described them as “very nice. They just blended in. They seemed very happy together. They were very excited about the ice cream.”

If they followed all of that up with martoonis at the country club with Muffy and Boomer, I wouldn’t be surprised at all. The only surprise is the ice cream flavors, honestly. They’re so boring, I would have thought they’d both go for vanilla. “My vanilla tastes so good, try it.” “No, my vanilla is better, here, have a taste!” Blah. Other eyewitness accounts include this one from Radar: “Blake and Ryan went to the Ridgefield Holiday Stroll and they were so cute holding hands the whole night… [they were] whispering to each other all night, and were laughing while they walked around. They looked like a regular couple and they were really cute when they would check out stores and smile at each other. They were so cute together and he’s so attractive!” OMG, Blake’s publicist needs to find a new word besides “cute.”

It seemed like Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively were living like an old-married couple just as soon as they got together. There was no exciting, hot-and-heavy moment, no passionate craziness, no drama. Blake and Leonardo DiCaprio broke up, and two seconds later she was on the train to Boston to see Ryan. Allegedly, Ryan has already met Blake’s family, and it was widely reported that Blake and Ryan were even shopping for apartments together in New York. They’ve been dating for about two-and-half months.

Sidenote: Is that just the way Ryan rolls? I seem to remember things moving quickly with Scarlett Johansson too – he seems to find available busty blondes, seduces them quickly and then instantly they turn into an old, unexciting married couple. There’s nothing wrong with that, per se, but couldn’t there be a little more excitement at the beginning at least?

Anyway, back to the main story – Star Magazine claims that it’s Blake – NOT Ryan – who is pushing the relationship into “super-serious relationship” status. Ryan just wanted to bone the busty blonde chick, he didn’t want to put a ring on it.

Too much too soon! Blake Lively is barreling toward another high-profile breakup, following the end of her whirlwind fling with Leonardo DiCaprio in September.

Blake and Ryan Reynolds seemed to be of-so serious about their new romance when, after dating for less than two months, they checked out a $4.35 million apartment on NYC’s Fifth Avenue together in early November. But the reality isn’t so rosy.

“Blake would marry Ryan right now if he popped the question,” an insider tells Star. “She roped him into house hunting by saying she was looking at properties for herself, then she started pestering him about moving in with her. Ryan nixed that idea. He was worried they’re moving way too fast.”

After Blake had become a familiar sight in Boston while Ryan filmed R.I.P.D., Ryan flew home to LA on November 16 to take a much-needed rest from the dizzying relationship.

“He is thrilled to have some time on his own while Blake is busy working,” the insider said of Ryan. “He is still trying to figure out how to let her down easy. Ryan doesn’t want to break her heart.”

Because he doesn’t even seem all that “safe” – he seems rather superficial and douchey to me. But let’s say I’m wrong and Ryan is lovely once you get to know him. Why would you want to marry him after two months? Why would want to marry him right after he got out of a marriage to Scarlett Johansson?

So, hopefully, Blake and Ryan will implode. And then, if we are very good and we write to Santa and tell him what we really, truly want, we shall get The Return of Bleo. I want Bleo for Christmas! Bleo was fun. Rake is so boring.
