I’ve known plenty of women who have lost weight post-breakup. It’s happened to me, but I inevitably gained it back again since I’m a stress eater. I kind of envy those women who can’t eat when they’re stressed, because it takes true trauma to get me to live in any state that resembles “hungry.”

All of this is intro for this story in Life & Style about how Sandra Bullock is so thin now because she’s pining for Ryan Reynolds, who is rumored to have left her to bone a bunch of random starlets like Olivia Wilde. I think Life & Style just noticed that Sandra was thin and that she no longer seems to be with Ryan and put two and two together. They could be right, though, as there’s nothing that will help you shed pounds like a breakup. Jezebel has a quick rundown of the story:

Apparently Sandra Bullock is “stressed-out” and “can’t stop losing weight.” She has suffered a “radical transformation” and is “scary thin.” Her “chest bones are showing,” and her “face is gaunt” and her arms are “veiny and too muscular.” A nutritional therapist who does not treat her says she has “almost no fat on her body.” Just in case you haven’t gotten the point, there’s text on a picture of Sandy which reads, “a newly bony body.” This is not only because she went through an icky divorce, but because Ryan Reynolds has “moved on” and Sandra “has no outlet for the loneliness she’s feeling.”

Bullock must have gotten wind of this story, because last night she was photographed out at paparazzi and celebrity hotspot Mr. Chow. Those are the photos where she’s in a car. She’s also shown outside the gym last week, and she looks really fit and healthy to me. I’m judging from her arms, not her clavicle area though. Maybe that part of her chest just looks sunken, because she doesn’t look scary skinny or anything, just thin. I love Sandra though and I refuse to believe that she’s suffering if things didn’t work out with Ryan. Maybe she’s just using the extra time to work on her fitness.

Last week’s In Touch reported that Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock had sort-of moved in together, which I believe is possible. At least Ryan was said to have moved some things into Sandra’s Austin home and to be living with her in both L.A. and Austin “until he figures out a permanent situation.” They seem like they’re getting serious, or at least Sandra is, and they’ve been seen out together several times. We’ve heard rumors that they’re talking about adopting a baby, and now Star is reporting that they’re already planning to marry. I think that both of them are gun shy after their failed marriages, and I doubt this is even partially true. Here’s Hollywood Life’s report:

Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock are ready to take their relationship to the next level and get married, according to Star magazine!

Star reports that during their Wyoming vacation, Ryan brought up the subject of marriage.

“Ryan told her he was ready to tie the knot whenever she wants,” a source told the magazine. “And after seeing how quickly she’s bonded with baby Louis, she decided she’s ready to pull the trigger, too. So they started discussing the logistics of pulling off a low-key, barefoot wedding that would reflect their laid-back lifestyle.”

The wedding will be small with only 25 guests, Sandra’s son Louis will be the best man the pair will feed the party with BBQ from Sandra’s favorite restaurant in Austin.

Yeah, Sandra had a horrible experience with her last marriage and Ryan is loving being single. I can see him being ready for a commitment, maybe, but not being ready to walk down the aisle again.

All of this sounds a little ridiculous when you consider that Ryan was just spotted out in New York over the weekend with none other than serial dater and his co-star whose boobs he loved to grab, Olivia Wilde. They looked annoyed to be papped together, and their reps claim they’re just friends and don’t have a relationship. Sure, just like Sandra and Ryan are “just friends.” It could be the case, though. Either way, this wedding story is bunk, but you know that I would freaking love for it to be true. My brain has been addled by way too many romcoms.

Sandra Bullock already has a baby, but that didn’t stop OK! Magazine from trying to move copies by making it sound like she’s going to have another one with her maybe-lover, Ryan Reynolds. In the article, the “insider” quotes just suggest that she could have a baby with Ryan if she wanted to and that medical intervention could help. Last week, Star claimed that Ryan was considering adopting Sandra’s current baby, Louis, whom she adopted early last year, and that they were also considering adopting another child together. So this just sounds like more fan fiction in that vein. I guess Sandra Bullock covers sell. You know that they don’t have any “insider” feeding them personal information about Bullock. She proved that when she dropped the adoption news bombshell at a time when her husband’s serial cheating scandal had been the biggest gossip story for months.

“Sandy would love nothing more than to give Louis a brother or sister,” a source close to the affable actor tells OK!. “And Ryan could be her ticket to having a child of her own!…

“Sandra is certainly not too old to try for a baby – especially with help from a fertility doctor,” says the source. “Can you even imagine how cute a child would be with Sandra as the mom and Ryan as the dad?”

Now, “She’s found the perfect person and she can’t wait to expand her family with him,” a friend tells OK!

Of course, the 34-year-old Ryan has something to say about that. And by all accounts, it’s “When do we start?” One of four brothers, he’s definitely a family guy.

“The main reason Ryan and his ex-wife Scarlett Johansson split was because he was desperate to have kids and she was eager to concentrate more on her career,” Ryan’s friend tells OK!

It goes on, but you get the picture. I know a lot of you don’t like Ryan Reynolds, but I do and I’m hoping that this romance with Bullock is real and that these two have a long relationship. I get that people think they’re just good friends or that this is a publicity stunt, but it’s verifiable that they’ve been spending a lot of time together. They’re probably not at the stage where they’re talking co-adoption or anything. For as much as Reynolds is said to have played the field post-split with Scarlett, I get the impression that he’s a faithful one-woman type of guy and is looking to settle down. Things could be more serious between him and Sandra than we assume from the outside.

These are some new photos of Sandra Bullock and her son Louis. This kid… I love him. We don’t get new photos of Louis very often, but that’s okay. I prefer to only see him every couple of months. His amazing little face is worth it. He always looks so grumpy! And he’s really aware of his surroundings too, watching the paparazzi with that little “Who do you think you’re looking at?” face.

Anyway, Sandy and Louis are back in LA after spending months in London, where she filmed Gravity, that project that producers really wanted Angelina Jolie to do (something about a woman trapped in a space station). Apparently, Sandy and Ryan Reynolds are still spending time together – he was photographed on his Ducati yesterday, driving over to Sandra’s house (you can see the photo of Ryan here):

To Sandy’s house he goes! Ryan Reynolds was all decked out in sexy motorcycle gear on Saturday as he rode his pricey Ducati to visit the Hollywood home of a very special pal: Sandra Bullock.

The actor, 34, and his Proposal costar, 47, have been joined at the hip lately — spending the weekend of Aug. 13 together in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, where Bullock’s dad has a home.

Joining the twosome for a hike in Grand Teton Park and other Wyoming adventures, of course, was Louis, Bullock’s adorable 19-month-old son. The recently divorced actor “loves spending time with Louis,” one insider tells Us Weekly.

But Louis stayed behind when his mommy and Reynolds had a two-hour, one-on-one dinner at Rendezvous Bistro the night of Aug. 13.

But don’t get the wrong idea, necessarily. “They were having fun,” one restaurant witness tells Us. “They acted like good friends.”

Still, though a second insider cautions the pals are “not romantic,” another adds: “He’s figuring out what he wants for himself relationship-wise.”

Yeah, I still think they’re just friends, but maybe that’s because I’m one the few people who doesn’t even like the idea of them together. I also don’t like the idea that Ryan is the one who needs to “figure out” what he wants, like THAT is why he and Sandra aren’t together. Sandra has got her own junk going on too.

CB gets excited at the thought of Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds possibly being together for real. Personally, I don’t like the idea (or the reality). I’d like to see Sandra with a nice guy, someone emotionally strong and care-taking, who will have her back. Preferably, I would like to see her with a non-actor, perhaps a producer-type or mogul. Ryan just seems like he’s still dealing with issues, mostly from his divorce, but possibly also some personality issues that are on-going. Anyway, last week, Sandy & Ryan were spotted hiking together in Wyoming with little Louis, so obviously, they’re engaged now. According to Star Magazine. So… sorry, it’s not on.

For years there have been rumbles of a romance between these Hollywood A-listers and sources say they’re finally giving love a shot!

Sandra Bullock might have finally found Mr. Right in her long-time friend Ryan Reynolds. The Proposal co-stars were spotted hiking near her Jackson Hole, Wyo., home on Aug. 12 which reignited rumors that they were more than just good friends. A source tells Star that during the two-mile hike around Jenny Lake, Sandra and Ryan talked about spending their lives together.

“As the day went on, they started thinking about it, and soon the thought of spending their lives together didn’t sound all that ridiculous,” the source says. “It sounded wonderful.”

Ryan hiked the entire Grand Teton National Park trail with Sandra’s adopted son baby Louis on his back. The source says Ryan already feels “like a father” to Louis and he was already talking about buying him a 1968 Mustang or a Harley when he gets older.

Despite the 10 year age difference, Sandra and Ryan reportedly seemed smitten while at their favorite local restaurant, Rendezvous Bistro.

“They enjoyed a few drinks and were very comfortable around each other,” an eyewitness says. “They seem to fit together, like it’s a really easy and fun relationship.”

This is a far cry from Sandra’s very public breakup with her philandering ex-husband Jesse James. They officially divorced in June 2010, while Ryan and his wife Scarlett Johansson divorced that same year but in December.

“Ryan is such a sweet-heart, everyone is giving them the stamp of approval,” a source adds. “They have a great foundation for a long-term relationship.”

See, I don’t have a problem thinking that Ryan and Sandy are probably tight, and they probably do joke around about getting married. But they’re just friends. Sandra isn’t hitting that, I don’t think. I think she brings out the best in Ryan, and I think he’s someone she can trust and confide in. But romance? Nope.

Oh this story made me squeal and clap my hands a little! Maybe it’s because I’ve had too much coffee this morning, but I just got so excited to see the new photos on TMZ of Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds hiking together, with Ryan carrying Sandra’s son Louis in a backpack! The photos look like they were captured on a cellphone camera, and they were probably sold to TMZ for some decent cash. Here’s the story:

Ryan carried Louis in a backpack during the nature walk through Grand Teton National Park last weekend.

The trio is vacationing in Jackson Hole with a few other friends.

I remember US Weekly running a cover story early this year that these two had hooked up and were together, and back then Radar reported that they were sneaking away for private getaways in Wyoming, where Sandra owns a house. Then Sandra said that Ryan was not her “lovah” and we sort-of believed her since she pronounced it all adorably like that. When she showed up to support Ryan at the premiere of The Change Up everyone thought that she was doing it as just a friend, since she probably wouldn’t be that bold if they were sleeping together. I don’t know now, though, and find it romantic that they’re going on vacation and hiking together. The fact that Ryan is carrying Louis on his back suggests to me that there’s more there. Fingers crossed! Maybe Sandy’s “New Life” is way more interesting than she’s letting on.

George Lopez lost his job yesterday. TBS announced that they were canceling his late-night talk show, Lopez Tonight, less than a year after the show got pushed back in favor of Conan O’Brien’s TBS talk show. Did you know Lopez Tonight was only air for two years? It felt like longer, maybe because things that suck always feel like they’re going on forever. Anyway, George is probably already updating his CV and looking for a new job, so this is the perfect time to remind everyone that he’s friends with Sandra Bullock.

George Lopez may be in transition again – his TBS talk show was canceled this week – but he knows he can always count on one close friend in particular: Sandra Bullock.

“If it wasn’t for her involvement in me, or her belief in me, I would have had a very different last 10 years,” Lopez, 50, told PEOPLE Wednesday at Dodger Stadium, where he threw out the first pitch to promote MasterCard’s support of Stand Up 2 Cancer.

Lopez didn’t speak about TBS’s decision – Lopez Tonight will end its almost two-year run on Thursday – but he made it clear that without Bullock, he may never have made it to late night TV at all.

“She invested in me, and she wouldn’t take no for an answer. And with that, and just who she is, she has my undying love, and my undying loyalty,” he said. “Every day I thank her for believing in me.”

Of course, Lopez is not the only lucky one in the Oscar winner’s life. She now has baby Louis to dote on. “I can only say that I did not have a mother, and I would have very much liked that one to be mine!” Lopez says with a laugh. “She’s already my fairy godmother, but any child that gets to be in Sandra Bullock’s arms is going to be a great person.”

Though his talk show is now over, it certainly sounds like Lopez has a good outlook on life in general.

“I live every day like an 11th grader,” he says. “Not a senior, because then you have to worry about college, but when you’re in 11th grade, you know you’re coming back to the same school with the same friends. So, I try to enjoy myself and live life every day.”

Bullock produced his old sitcom, and they’ve been friends for years. I’m not sure if she can dig him out of this hole, though. In the past few years, Lopez has had several personal and professional problems. There were lots of rumors about how he was screwing hookers behind his wife‘s back (the same wife who gave him a kidney), and then he and his wife split up shortly after that report. Then, there were all of the problems with his show, which was at best hacky, and at worst, rude and dysfunctional. So, am I reading this interview correctly? Is this Lopez’s plea to Bullock to give him a job?

A smiling Sandra Bullock is shown on the cover of the upcoming issue of People with the title “How Sandra Got Her Groove Back.” I was really hoping it involved a strapping young guy (who wasn’t a bisexual con artist like Terry McMillan’s husband) but the profile seems to be more about Sandra’s work life and her life with her adopted son, Louis. We’ve seen a few staged photo ops with Sandra and Louis over the past couple of weeks, and this seems to be more PR from her camp to distract us from what a total ass her ex husband continues to be in the press. She only has one film coming out in limited release this year, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, which isn’t out until December. So I think it’s safe to assume that her people want to continue the good will for Sandra and remind us that she’s around. She hasn’t had a film out since 2009′s Blind Side so this isn’t a bad strategy. It seems kind of transparent, though, and judging from the excerpt on People’s website they don’t even have an actual interview with her and are relying on quotes from people who work with her.

How did Sandra Bullock bounce back from a hard year?

Credit her 19-month-old son Louis, her sense of humor and her decision to jump back into the acting world in a big way.

“She was very keen to get back to work,” says Stephen Daldry, who directed her in Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, one of two dramas the actress, 47, has filmed since last fall.

“She threw herself in with her usual enthusiasm and energy, and she was very relaxed,” he added. “She had little Louis with her, and it was a very familial environment on-set.”

Bullock, who also just wrapped the astronaut drama Gravity, has been keeping a low profile as she passes emotional milestones: the one-year mark of her divorce from Jesse James, and this month’s anniversary of her official adoption of Louis.

As she steps back into the spotlight, her new life is a joyful one. “She’s glowing,” says her Extremely Loud costar Reagan Leonard.

Yeah I get that Bullock needs to play this game to keep the projects rolling in and keep the public apprised of her status, but it seems so lame. We love her because she’s genuine, because she’s human, because she weathered one of the worst, most public, most humiliating scandals by keeping her head up and emerging with an adorable baby and words so generous they made her ex look like the lowest form of dirt for ever wronging her. We don’t want to have Bullock thrust at us, we want to admire her tenacity as she gets on with her life, and we want to come to our own conclusions about it.

Ryan Reynolds was on The Tonight Show last night promoting The Change Up, which is one of those body switching movies about a single guy (Reynolds) changing places with a married guy (Jason Bateman). It looks dumb and predictable, and it’s written by the guys who brought us the Hangover movies. The director, David Dobkin, did Wedding Crashers and Fred Claus so it’s not like this is going to be groundbreaking or particularly funny, but I could be wrong.

During his interview Ryan told so many funny self deprecating stories. (You can watch it on NBC.com if you’re in the US.) It’s been a while since I’ve seen an interview with him, and he was just so entertaining. First he talked about how he had some trials and tribulations while filming The Change Up in Atlanta. His first trailer caught fire, his second trailer flooded, his hotel room flooded, then he very quickly glossed over the detail that he split up with then-wife Scarlet Johansson at the time. It was clever the way he rattled it off. “It snowballed. My hotel room flooded, my dog got sick, came down with a slight case of divorce and I broke my pinky finger.” He said it like that very quickly as if it were his dog that got divorced and not him.

He told another story about how he got hit by a drunk driver and sent to the hospital with broken bones when he was 19 – after he had decided to walk home from the bar instead of driving. (He was in Canada at the time, where the “drinking age is six,” he explained.) Then we heard about how he jumped off a bridge in Zurich and broke a vertebrae in his back. His friend jumped, but “I dove, because I’m clinically dumb.”

The best anecdote from Ryan was about how Olivia Wilde’s pasties came off during a sex scene he was filming with her.
“In the scene I take her top off… She has these pasties, but she’s drawn these adorable little smiley faces on them. And I forget every line in the scene… I’m nervous… At some point at the end of the scene she takes my hands and puts them on her breasts. So they’re there, palms are a little sweaty. At the end of the scene I take them off. I’m trying not to look at her like a 14 year-old boy who just won the lady lottery.

“I take my hands away and I look down at my hands and there’s two frickin’ smiley faces. I have no idea what to do, so the scene is over now. I reflexively like an idiot just put my hands back on her breasts. I think I’m doing it like to cover them up, but I’m realizing right now it’s a very fine line between chivalry and workplace sexual assault. Thank God someone comes in with a towel.”

The dude is a natural entertainer that’s for sure. He surely practiced all those stories but he came prepared and his delivery was excellent.

At the premiere for the movie last night, Ryan’s maybe ex-hookup and good friend Sandra Bullock came to support him. (She also could have been there for a producer named Jonathon Komack Martin, who works on The George Lopez show, which she also producers.) The two looked very comfortable together and happy to see each other. Bullock wore a black jumpsuit. I’m not a fan of that look for her, particularly the boob ruffle, but at least the pants aren’t baggy as we’ve seen with so many other jumpsuits lately. The shoes are gorgeous and understated too. Her hair and makeup were so pretty.

Olivia Wilde wore this red Antonio Berardi dress with pointy shoulder pads. The dress itself is bizarre but not that bad. The bright red shoes have got to go. This isn’t a wedding or a prom, you don’t need to match your shoes to your dress! Plus the color is off. She’s cute though. Kaiser wants me to mention the bangs trauma. I’m not a bangs fan either but it’s a decent look for her.

And Leslie Mann wore this gladiator-style white dress with a matching braided belt. Why are sparkly shoulders so popular? At least this isn’t as bad as the dress Anna Paquin wore to the 2010 Emmys. I’m always reminded of that dress when I see this style.

Oh and I can’t forget Jason Bateman!

Do you find it surprising that Jesse James is still talking about Sandra Bullock a year after their divorce was finalized? It’s as if he’s still hung up on her and thinks about her constantly. He’s still promoting his book, so I guess it’s predictable that he continues to bring it up. In a recent interview with an Australian Radio station, James gave his same old tired excuses in that pissy voice of his. It’s all about him and how he felt as usual. He claims that he “didn’t lie” about his affairs and “owned it like a man,” however he completely misses the fact that he lied to Sandra for years and that he lied to the strippers he slept with about the state of his marriage. He also claims that

On telling Sandra he was cheating
It was pretty painful to like talk to someone and know that you’re like, the next words out of your mouth are gonna devastate their life.

On if people reached out to him
Not many man, it was like cockroaches when you turn the light on. Everybody scattered. Nobody wanted anything to do with me. I totally got it, because it was like the media, so I’m like “cool, you know…” All my real friends, which was a pretty small group. They’re all there and never left. They all saw it for what it was.

On if anyone on the street talked smack to him after the scandal
I never got one negative comment. Not from anyone. The only people that said negative stuff to me were paparazzi and they were like being paid to do that.

On how people supported him
The media portrayed it as like this big huge negative thing, but man if anything I got more support from anyone else because yeah, guess what I cheated on my wife, but you know what – so do a lot of other people.

You know, does that mean I’m the dev… does that mean I’m satan, you know? I don’t think so.

He “didn’t lie about it”
I made a mistake, and I’m sorry for it and I owned up to it. I didn’t lie about it, I didn’t try to do any kind of B.S. like you know, PR campaign or whatever. I said “Hey, you know, I did it, I’m sorry I made a mistake,” you know.

He “owned it like a man”
I owned it like a man. I took all the abuse for it, which nobody does.

On if he’s forgiven himself
Yeah, I’m cool.

Claims he didn’t do interviews for a year
You wanna know something funny, that kind of has to do with Australia? I didn’t talk to the media for like a year, like wouldn’t talk to anyone. Never, you know like no interviews, no anything. But I write for an Australian magazine and I still wrote my monthly column… the American media is too stupid that they didn’t even realize it. I talked about all kinds of stuff, .. never picked up on it.

And as far as him “owning up” to his affairs, he didn’t even go into a single detail in his book. He didn’t name names, he didn’t admit how many women, and tried to make it sound like he was searching for something Sandra didn’t give him, and as if it were her fault. He wrote “I’m into sex, but contrary to whatever biker stereotype got built up around me, sex is mostly a cerebral experience for me. If there’s no personal connection there, then it’s sort of pointless. But with that said: I still did it. I screwed around behind Sandy’s back, and the whole world came to know about it.” That’s it. That’s Jesse cashing in on breaking Sandra’s heart and that’s how he “owned it like a man.”
