Everyone is still busy speculating over what went wrong between George Clooney and Sarah Larson. The two split up after a year together – absolutely beyond record length for a Clooney liaison. Before that, His longest – and I’m guessing deepest – relationship was with his pot bellied pig, Max. Mike Walker of the National Enquirer has another theory as to what might have gone wrong, and according to him, Ms. Larson got a little too big for her britches in the Clooney household.

New clue in the intriguing mystery of why George Clooney abruptly dumped ex-cocktail waitress Sarah Larson - even after generously buying her new boobs and teeth! The bust-up occurred in part because risqué photos surfaced along with rumors of her fling with an old flame - plus sordid tales of her wild past that freaked Clooney out, as reported by The Enquirer - but here’s a tasty chunk of my very own prime gossip filet, folks:

Word’s just now drifting out from the star’s inner circle that Sarah, who once depended on tips herself as a scantily clad booze-server in Vegas, suddenly started acting like the future Missus Clooney around The Man’s household, cruelly ordering cutbacks to the hefty gratuities Generous George regularly lavishes on his personal staff.

For months, Clooney had no clue about Stingy Sarah’s sly cutbacks, but when worried staffers finally asked one of his higher-ups if the boss had trimmed everyone’s tips because he was unhappy with their work, the whistle finally blew loudly in the star’s ear and he went ballistic - raging that NO ONE had the right to counterman his orders! Just days after Clooney’s shocking discovery, it was suddenly “See ya, Sarah!”

Frankly it seems pretty clear to me that whatever ended George and Sarah’s relationship, I’ll bet it was an excuse. George Clooney does not date women long, and I’m sure he knew that if he went on much longer, he’d be expected to marry Sarah. The gossip was reaching a boiling point as it was.

I’m guessing he waited for the first thing she did wrong, and then gave Sarah the boot. A Clooney relationship isn’t a traditional one where the two people are partners who work together through issues. You get to date George – and he takes pretty good care of you, buying you new body parts and such – for a few months until he loses interest.

As soon as his relationship with Sarah deviated from his tried and true format, suddenly his entire identity was probably up in the air and he started looking for a way out. I wouldn’t be surprised if the actual dumping was because of something relatively trivial, though the idea that Sarah ever had enough control to influence his staff’s paychecks seems a little unlikely to me. Either way, she set a Clooney relationship record, and she left with two lovely parting gifts.

Update by Celebitchy: Many of you are pointing out in the comments that Clooney was married for four years, to Talia Balsam from 1989 - 1993, and had a relationship for several years with Lisa Snowden. Although he’s had other relationships that lasted longer than Larson, Jaybird is technically correct that his longest relationship to date was with his potbellied pig, though. Max lived to the age of 19, four years past his life expectancy, and was partially blind and suffered arthritis in his old age. Clooney had to urge fans to quit sending potbellied piglets to his house after Max died. He said he wasn’t ready to adopt another pig and good ‘ol Max would probably be his last.

In a not-all-that-surprising revelation, Page Six is reporting that George Clooney actually dumped Sarah Larson not because of her boob job or her supposed cheating with an ex-boyfriend, but because George had been cheating on Sarah for several months. The Post claims that George has been over Sarah for quite a while, but let her stick around in hopes she’d be able to parlay their relationship into some sort of real career.

George Clooney may already have found Sarah Larson’s replacement. Our source claims Clooney “has been dating a woman in her mid-30s” for months now, even before he split with Larson. The source also claims Clooney knew he was going to leave Larson months ago, and let her do interviews and some modeling to “get her a career” before the split. Larson also got some new breasts. A rep for Clooney, who’s vacationing at his house in Lake Como, said, “How does one as public as George secretly date anyone?”

PopSugar has a story and pictures of George vacationing with a woman in Lake Como recently. They point out that there’s no way to know who the woman is – she could be a friend – but it’s an interesting coincidence, when taken together with the Page Six story. George Clooney already hooking up with another woman isn’t exactly evidence of cheating though – I doubt the guy has to sit on the internet for several months, scoping out potential dates like the rest of us. I’m sure he can move on pretty quickly.

Contrary to an earlier story that George Clooney dumped Sarah Larson over her insistence on getting new boobs, the National Enquirer claims that it was Clooney who footed the $12,000 bill for Larson’s implants and that he was on board with it. It was only when rumors that Sarah was having a fling with an ex boyfriend in Vegas surfaced that Clooney called it quits, they claim. What’s more is that Clooney bought Larson new teeth last year. Larson’s new boobs are said to be modeled after Gisele Bundchen’s:

MSat reported a story on Wednesday from In Touch that quoted a supposed insider saying “George really didn’t want her to get the boob job.” Sarah and George supposedly had a fight over her new boobs, with Sarah storming out and finding out through the media that she had been dumped.

I would bet that Clooney was just looking for an excuse as MSat mentioned. You don’t think this girl would cheat on him, but she doesn’t seem like the brightest bulb and could easily fall back into old patterns. She was seen bumping and grinding with her ex at an event after the split.

Whatever happened, Sarah is still trying to get her 15 rapidly-decreasing minutes. She trotted along Robertson Boulevard on Wednesday with a trail of paparazzi following her.

Sarah Larson isn’t wasting any time spending the scant fame inheritance George Clooney left her with when he kicked her skinny ass to the curb. Yesterday she was seen walking along paparazzi-strewn Robertson Boulevard with a female friend on the way to lunch. Larson’s new boobs, which are rumored to have hastened the end of her relationship with Clooney, were hidden under a loose top, and she smiled and posed happily for the paparazzi sharks waiting to feed on her disintegrating fame. Maybe we’ll hear about it when she inevitably hooks up with another rich guy, someone a little kinkier and less prominent than Clooney, but every day that passes the less interest there is in this woman, and she’s got to work to keep herself in the tabloids.

She must realize this and is implementing her strategy here. She’s a candidate for more reality television, and stay tuned because I’m guessing that’s her next venture.

Ever since George Clooney and former Las Vegas cocktail waitress Sarah Larson broke up, rumors have been flying. Did they break up because of her oversharing in Harper’s Bazaar, or did she leave him over his hot-and-cold romance techniques? And why did George suddenly go out and get new chompers? Well, the latest rumor to add to the pile is that the couple split over a disagreement on Sarah’s breast augmentation surgery.

Could Sarah Larsen’s newly-enhanced breasts have prompted her split from George Clooney?

The former Vegas cocktail waitress underwent breast augmentation in May this year, and a U.S magazine suggests that the actor just isn’t a boob man.

“George really didn’t want her to get the boob job. She asked George if she could do her recovery at his house and he agreed,” an insider tells In Touch Weekly.

As for the break-up itself, it appears that George let the press do his dirty work for him. What a gent!

The source adds, “They had a huge fight and he left the house. Sarah read in the media that they’d broken up and freaked out because George hadn’t told her anything.

“He had to explain himself because she’d found out with the rest of the world.”

At least Sarah still has her new curves to fall back on.

A friend says, “She likes her new body so much that she would consider posing for Playboy. Now that she’s famous, she’d never go back to cocktailing.”

Even if it’s true that they disagreed over her surgery, my guess is that he was looking for a reason to dump her anyway. And as for Sarah - she’d better be careful about using words like “Famous” and “Never.” I’m sure that there are women who were a lot more famous than her who ended up going back to waitressing. Or reality show whoring. Or stripping. Or whatever it was she was doing before George made her his arm candy du jour.

Both the National Enquirer and Star Magazine have stories this week that 29 year-old Sarah Larson is telling friends that she’s the one who broke it off with Oscar-winning actor George Clooney, not the other way around. Earlier stories had Clooney, 47, surprising Larson with the split, leaving her heartbroken as she packed up her stuff and moved out of his LA mansion and back to Vegas.

Now Larson supposedly claims that she got sick of Clooney’s on-again off-again affections and that she’s the one who chose to end it. As if that sounds believable:

“She’s claiming that she broke up with him because his love was so inconsistent,” says one source. “She said he was hot and cold with her, and she just couldn’t tolerate it anymore.”

But it seems former Fear Factor winner Sarah, 29, may just be trying to put out her own version of the story because, according to multiple other sources, George dumped her.

“She tends to get too attached to her boyfriends,” says a play of Sarah. “She was getting too clingy, and George just had enough. She was demanding too much attention, and it was driving him away. They had been on the rocks since April, and this was just the final straw for George.”

The National Enquirer has a similar quote from maybe the same insider who claims that Clooney was “hot and cold” with Sarah and she got fed up with it.

Star reports that Clooney has been holding up in Lake Como since the news of the split broke, but that’s probably where he spends his summers anyway. Larson made a smiling public appearance at the opening of the Palms Place on May 31. She was seen flirting and sitting next to an ex boyfriend, Ryan Doherty. The two did some dirty dancing that night, according to an insider quoted in the National Enquirer, who calls it “over the top” and “obvious.” They also say that Sarah is “crushed” and that losing Clooney is the “last thing [she] wanted.”

She’ll get over it and move on. There may not be another A-List star willing to take her to the Oscars again, but there are plenty of fish in the muddy Hollywood lake, and she’s young, pretty, rich and now semi-famous. You can’t buy the kind of exposure this woman got from dating Clooney.

More details have come out about the George Clooney and Sarah Larson split, and they’re not flattering to horse teeth Clooney. The 47 year-old perpetual bachelor may have been willing to squire Larson around to events for a few months, even bringing her as his smiling silent date to the Oscars, but he certainly wasn’t going to marry her and it sounds like he didn’t even want to get her hopes up.

An insider tells Fox News that 39 29 year-old Sarah thought that Clooney was going to propose, despite all his public statements to the contrary, but that he broke it off with her all of a sudden and that she had no idea it was coming. She had to pack up her shit from his LA home and move back to Las Vegas, which was where she was living and working as a high-paid cocktail waitress and hostess when she met Clooney:

“She thought they were getting married. Instead, she got dumped,” a friend said. “She’s really upset. Devastated.”

Larson found herself teary-eyed, packing her bags and walking out the door of the home the couple had shared in Los Angeles.

Friends said the 29-year-old fled to Las Vegas, where she was working at a nightclub in the Palms Casino Hotel before Clooney swept her off her feet one year ago.

The pretty brunette, a former “Fear Factor” reality show contestant, is already back with her old crowd. Larson made her first public appearance since the breakup on Saturday at the Palms Place Hotel & Spa’s grand opening party.

As things got serious with Clooney, Larson had moved into his Los Angeles mansion, subletting her home in Las Vegas. Tongues wagged that she might be “the one” when he took her to the Oscars this year.

Less than a month ago, the couple were in New York celebrating the actor’s 47th birthday. They were taking it slow, but they were planning to eventually wed, they told friends at the time.

“She’s totally heartbroken and doesn’t deserve this,” a friend said. “It came out of nowhere. They had made all these plans.”

The June Harper’s Bazaar interview with Larson might have pushed Clooney over the precipitous ledge he’s been on as an older, famous childless man who can have any woman he wants. Larson talked about how she met Clooney in the interview, called her appearance at the Oscars with him “like a modeling job - smiling and greeting people,” and said she used to make $1,000 a night as a cocktail waitress in Vegas. She claims she has no ambitions to act, but with the type of money she was making she could easily go back into hostess work or whatever she was doing.

I bet Larson would never have lasted as long as she did with Clooney or even been granted arm candy status if she didn’t get into that motorcycle accident with him last September. That event may have made Clooney settle down temporarily, but he didn’t change into a man ready for a long term commitment overnight.

If you want to judge if a guy could be in it for the long haul, just look at his past relationships. If all he has in his recent past is a string of short term girlfriends, you’re bound to be one too. I know I’ve been fooled by charm and influence too, and you learn and move on. At least Sarah has some fabulous couture and jewelry to take away with her.

In a story that I expected to hear months ago, an insider tells In Touch that George Clooney broke up with his much-younger cocktail waitress girlfriend, Sarah Larson. This news comes a little over two weeks after an interview with “It Girl” Larson was published in Harper’s Bazaar. The 29 year-old Fear Factor winner dished on how she met George, called him “funny and sweet” and said she wanted to get him to wear designer jeans and style his hair in a fauxhawk. The interview came off as lame and bland to me, but maybe I was taking it out of context.

The last time these two were seen out at an event was at the Fashion Institute Gala in New York on May 5. Sarah held her head up high while she posed with George, who seemed to only have eyes for Julia Roberts, who looked serene.

Supposedly George arranged to be out of the house while he had Sarah move her stuff out. It sounds like he let her down easy:

In Touch says they’ve been dating for almost a year after getting reacquainted at the Oceans 13 premiere after party, where Larson was working. George and Sarah got into an accident on his motorcycle in late September last year, with some eyewitnesses claiming he told Sarah he loved her in the moments after the crash when she was lying on the ground. Sarah hobbled away from the accident with a broken toe and Clooney’s renewed affections, which predictably waned down the line. There’s likely little she could have done to keep Clooney’s interest. His relationships in recent years have been notoriously short-lived.

I guess the answer to the question “who did Sarah Larson screw to get on the cover declared an “it” girl by Harpers Bazaar?” is obvious. George Clooney’s girlfriend and event arm candy, a 29 year-old former cocktail waitress and Fear Factor winner, appears on the cover of the June edition of the magazine. She wears a brown gown with a tulle underskirt peeking out as she sits on a motorcyle. It is perhaps a reference to the way that she melted Clooney’s bachelor heart by breaking her toe in an accident they sustained on his motorbike.

Larson didn’t accompany Clooney on the European leg of his Leatherheads promotional tour, and I know that I was hoping she was out of the picture, but it wasn’t so. The petite brunette with the perma-grin was seen out with Clooney at the Costume Institute Gala on Monday night.

There’s a definite slow-down to the gossip as many of us get spring fever throughout the world and start to enjoy the sunshine again. Since there’s not as much to fabricate lately, why not focus on Clooney’s girlfriend and her deep thoughts? That’s probably what motivated Bazaar to feature her on the cover, although they’re likely to have a reason for wanting to suck up to Clooney too.

Larson dished in the accompanying interview on such riveting subjects as George’s “funny and sweet” personality and she seemed to half-admit that she’s with him for his celebrity status:

“If George had been on a reality show, I don’t think I’d have talked to him,” Larson says in the June issue of Harper’s Bazaar. “It would have been like, ‘That’s nice.’”

Good thing it didn’t deter him, though. “He still wants to date me, and I ate a scorpion [on Fear Factor]” she says.

“I see him as a normal person, like anyone else,” she says. “He just happens to have a well-known face.” Still, she cautions, “You realize who is good for you and who’s not pretty quickly.”

And while the story of their meeting in Las Vegas – where Larson was a waitress – is well-known, she tells Harper’s Bazaar that she and Clooney struck up a text message relationship after meeting again in June 2007. “We just started talking. George is funny and sweet, and he’s good to be around,” she says.

“I think getting him a pair of True Religion jeans would be a good joke,” she says of her boyfriend’s no-frills taste. Jokes Larson: “I really want you to wear this, and please put your hair in a fauxhawk.’”

It all sounds so lame to me, but I guess I can’t judge until I have a chance to read the whole interview. Surely Larson can come up with a better practical joke than to try and get George Clooney to look like a fool. He’s already doing that by dating a young former cocktail waitress and having her talk to the press.

I can’t imagine what it would be like to date George Clooney, but his girlfriend Sarah Larson is helping fuel the fantasy with details of her life now that she’s semi-famous. For starters, she isn’t much of a paparazzi target.

“That only happens when I’m with George,” Sarah tells Extra. “If I’m by myself, I seem to get away so far.”
“I really like my privacy, so having it unearthed is a little different!”

Since she’s now in the spotlight, the 28-year-old must deal with the obligatory rumor mill as well. There’s been so much talk about her and George, from moving in together to getting married, that the former Fear Factor contestant says she’s “lost track” of some of the gossip.

“I just came to the realization that some people are just going to say stuff and you just have to brush it off I guess!” Sarah says. “I try not to pay attention to most of the gossipy rumors.”

It would be very strange to live in a world that you had only seen previously on television and in magazines, like moving to a foreign country.

When she and George split up - I say ‘when’ because he is one of the world’s most notorious bachelors - I wonder if she’ll return to her job as a cocktail waitress? Currently she is modeling in Ocean Drive magazine, and doesn’t waitress anymore following threats from an anonymous caller to George’s voicemail.

If she wants to keep perpetual bachelor George happy, his ex-girlfriend has some advice. Model Lisa Snowden, who dated George twice, says their relationship was caused by her lack of cooking skills. She jokes “I never made George a roast. It’s the way to a man’s heart, isn’t it?! Dammit! I knew I messed up somewhere!”
