Oh creepiest of creepy things. Scarlett Johansson, who generally seems classy enough (at least compared to most of her Hollywood peers) gave boyfriend Ryan Reynolds the freakiest gift since Van Gogh’s ear: one of her teeth. Though the pair haven’t been together all that long, Scarlett seemed to think the best present for Ryan was a piece of herself. And what’s easier to get rid of than a tooth? Slicing off the ear has been done, and we all know that a toe is totally played out. But a tooth? Now that’s unique. What an expression of love. Apparently Scarlett had her wisdom teeth taken out a little while before Ryan’s birthday. I’m guessing the idea came to her while she was under the influence of some pretty good dental surgery drugs.

Things are, like, totally heating up between Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson, and we’re not just saying so because the buxom blonde recently hit Canuckland with Ry to meet the parentals. Wading through Ted Casablanca’s writing is like swimming through a giant vat of pudding while searching for a pearl: you know it’s in there, but it hurts to keep opening your eyes to try to find it. Anyway. Maybe Scarlett’s just cheap. I mean if you’re already shelling out for the surgery, why not kill two birds with one stone and get a free present out of the deal? Celebrities get so much stuff for free: she probably just thought the tooth was free surgery swag and wanted to re-gift it. They sell gold paint at the craft store for about a dollar, and I doubt Ryan would notice the difference. How closely are you going to inspect the color when someone’s just given you their tooth on a chain? I pretty sure if they get married, he should expect jewel-encrusted toenail clippings.

Scarlett will continue working with Woody Allen on their third film together, set in Madrid. It is yet to be titled and will be released in 2008.

Scarlett Johansson is working on Woody Allen’s new movie, tentatively titled Midnight in Barcelona in, predictably, Barcelona, Spain. My husband took me there for a long weekend a few months ago and we loved it. The shopping and sights are excellent and I cannot recommend it enough. It’s also a great city for younger single people.

People were saying Johansson gained a little weight when she was seen out recently in NY wearing unflattering khaki shorts. She was with an unidentified guy, which commentors pointed out was her brother, Adrian, who is 30. It turns out there may be a good reason for her slight weight gain - she was living it up in Louisiana for several weeks this summer while recording her debut album. She was said to be visited by her new boyfriend, Ryan Reynolds, and she enjoyed margaritas, crawfish, and other local specialties. She also had frequent outings to Walmart and Albertsons.

If Johansson did gain weight, she seems to have lost it quickly. She looks fabulous in these pictures taken yesterday. She is seen with Patricia Clarkson.

Justin Timberlake isn’t content to just romance one high-profile starlet and move on quickly to another - he seems to be keeping two on the line. Word is he shared a high-priced rental condo and some fireside snuggling with bootlicious Jessica Biel at Sundance, and now he’s back to bumping Scarlett Johansson - sort of. There was a rumor that Scarlett had rebuffed Timberlake and broken his heart after he hired her to appear in his video in an attempt to get close to the sexy actress. Scarlett is said to be a free spirit and only wanted a fling without ties.

Scarlett is either taking her chances or just toying with Timberlake, as she’s said to have hung out with him all night and to have done a little sexy dance in front of him at a Super Bowl after party:

Johansson met Timberlake at the Hennessey Super Bowl afterparty at Mokai, where, spies say, “they were talking, dancing, holding hands all night - it was very cozy.

“Then, as they left through the back, Justin was leaning against the wall and Scarlett came up, leaned into him and did a sexy, little dance, grinding into his body.”

Timberlake’s spokesman, Ken Sunshine, had no comment, and Johansson’s flack didn’t get back to us.

I bet Johansson is messing with Timberlake and I’d like to see him get his heart stomped on, as cruel as that sounds. He dissed Cameron publically, so I kind of figure he deserves it even thought I still think Cameron is a snot bag. (Why do I care what happens to these people?)

No matter what happens in Timberlake’s life, he seems to have help to get through the days. He recently admitted to being stoned off his ass during the Punk’d episode where he was tricked into thinking IRA agents had seized all his worldly possessions.

Scarlett recently won a free year at a South Beach condo, valued at around $50k. Her spokesperson said she will donate it to a nearby children’s hospital, so that the parents of sick kids will have a nice place to stay. The NY Daily News points out that Jessica Simpson won a car in a similar celebrity swag giveaway last year and that she kept it.

Scarlett Johansson appears as Cinderella in new ads shot by Annie Liebovitz for Disney World’s Year of a Million Dreams campaign. Other celebrities dressed as Disney characters in the ads include Beyonce as Alice in Wonderland, and David Beckham as the prince from Sleeping Beauty.

Liebovitz says that Johansson loved dressing up as Cinderella and couldn’t wait to put on the $325,000 diamond Harry Winston tiara.

Johansson, 22, is photographed as Cinderella after the fairy godmother treatment, wearing a designer ball gown and a diamond tiara reports BBC.

“Scarlett Johansson couldn’t wait to put on that tiara,” Leibovitz says. The Harry Winston creation is valued at $325,000. The glass slipper was made for the shoot by Steuben. Says Johansson, 22, via e-mail, “It wasn’t hard to coax my foot into the iconic glass slipper; it’s every little girl’s dream, mine included.”

Scarlett Johansson is said to have gotten Justin Timberlake’s hopes up after he dumped albatross Cameron Diaz and thought he scored a real actress. She was seen flirting with him at the Alpha Dog after party and people said they were a new item. Justin is said to have hired Scarlett to appear in an upcoming video in order to get closer to her.

She was toying with him, though, according to sources who say she’s not ready for a commitment with the arrogant singer turned actor. He was said to be too clingy and needy for her, so she got the hell away from him:

The hunky “Sexy Back” singer, who’s 25, rushed into 22-year-old Scarlett’s arms after his split with Cameron Diaz - only to discover the big-screen bombshell “just wasn’t that into him,” sources say.

“Scarlett loves male attention, but there’s no way she’s ready to settle down at her age,” a pal told The Enquirer.

“Justin was crazy about her, but Scarlett? Not so much.

“She said she was more than happy to share a fling with Justin, but then he got all clingy and wanted a commitment. That’s when Scarlett backed off…”

I kind of love that the tables were turned in this relationship and that the woman was the one who wasn’t into the guy. When it’s Justin Timberlake that’s getting the brush off, it’s all the better. Maybe there’s another snotty actress he can publically humiliate. Britney is said to be out of the question, but Lohan only has a couple of crotch slips to her credit and she’s going to be sober soon.

Justin’s ex, Cameron Diaz, is rebounding in style with hot surfer Kelly Slater. Kelly’s a guy, unfortunately, or this story would be more interesting.

Scarlett’s ex, Josh Hartnett, is said to be romancing drunken Brit Sienna Miller. Yeah, I know.

Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake issued a joint statement confirming the demise of their relationship. They said that there are “innacurate stories” about their breakup, that we’re talking too much crap about them, and that Cameron’s nose really does look better now after the operation:

“It has always been our preference not to comment on the status of our relationship, but, out of respect for the time we’ve spent together, we feel compelled to do so now, in light of recent speculation and the number of inaccurate stories that are being reported by the media. We have, in fact, ended our romantic relationship and have done so mutually and as friends, with continued love and respect for one another.” And that’s that!

Rumor has it that Justin has been getting cozy with Scarlet Johansson, and that he hired her for a cameo in a recent video in order to get to know her better. They were seen talking and flirting at the after party for his Alpha Dog movie premiere.

My favorite recent source, The National Enquirer has photos and a story of Justin’s holiday hookup, an ex-girlfriend from his hometown in Tennnessee named Veronica Finn. Finn was in the now-defunct girl group Innosense, and is now a real estate agent in Tampa, FL. Finn stayed over at Justin’s parents’ house for a few nights and was seen out with him playing indoor golf and going to a club in nearby Memphis. (I said Timberlake was from Nashville before, ans as commentors pointed out that was incorrect.)

What’s really surprising about this story is how Cameron and Justin lasted so long. They both made statements that kind of half-revealed their relationship was shaky, and Justin publically dissed Cameron on this season’s premiere of Ellen, essentially admitting he’d never marry her.

This is a fake story made up by a British rag that heard that Scarlett Johansson was in Justin Timberlake’s new video and showed up at the party for the premiere of his movie, Alpha Dog. News of the World is claiming that Scarlet and Justin are an item now that Justin and Cameron have called it quits. Scarlet and her long term boyfriend, Josh Hartnett, are also rumored to be over although they did a good job of hiding their on and off relationship:

The two were working on the promo all last week — and have been spending a lot of time together off the set in Los Angeles. A source told me: “Things just didn’t work out between Justin and Cameron.

“They decided to part ways — but they didn’t tell anyone.

“He’s got a tour coming up this year and wanted to concentrate on that, but it seems he’s really hit it off with Scarlett while working on the video.”

On Wednesday, 2nd January, Scarlett was at the after-party for the premiere of Justin’s new movie, Alpha Dog, at Social Hollywood in LA.

Our source said: “She walked in keeping her head down. When she met Justin they looked very close and chatted away for ages.

“There were other people trying to speak to Justin but he kept his attention on her for around an hour. They looked very intimate.

“But he’s still trying to make it look low key—because he left with his mum Lynn later through a back exit.”

Justin, 25, was still with Cameron when he asked Scarlett to play the leading lady in the vid believed to be based on his relationship with Britney Spears.

And with their curly long blonde hair, big eyes and curvy figures, there are definite similarities between the two beauties.

There’s no “insider” information in that story, and it’s just a rehashing of known information about Justin and Scarlet.

News was that Scarlett was being bitchy on the set of the video and that she got mad when she couldn’t smoke on the set and told people not to eat around her. Her publicist denied the claims.

Another story came out that Justin and Kate Hudson were together since he went to a New Year’s party at her house and they were seen going upstairs together. From what I read lots of people were at that party and it was a big to-do over nothing. It’s more likely that he was banging a real estate agent in his hometown of Nashville, Tennessee. The woman was said to be an old flame of Justin’s and she stayed overnight at his parent’s house while he was there.

We’ll have to stay tuned to see what happens with Justin’s love life, but if he does have more than a business relationship with Scarlett Johansson I bet they’ll be good at hiding it. She managed to keep her relationship with Josh Hartnet low key and if she’s actually with Justin, which I doubt, she’ll be careful to hide it.

Everyone was saying the Josh Hartnett looked like crap after he was seen out at an event last week in need of a brow wax and some hair pomade. Page Six reported that his low-key relationship with sexy smartie Scarlet Johansson seemed to be doing ok after they were spotted making out. Now Page Six is reporting that he was seen making out with gorgeous Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen at a club on Saturday Night:

WE may have jumped the gun yesterday when we announced Josh Hartnett was back with on-again, off-again girlfriend Scarlett Johansson. They were seen making out last week, but apparently they are taking Johansson’s “open relationship” policy seriously. Hartnett was spotted at Spotted Pig sucking face with supermodel Gisele Bundchen Saturday night. “They were all over each other,” said the spy. Reps for Harnett didn’t return calls, and a rep for Bundchen would not comment.

Bundchen was known as Leonardo Dicaprio’s longterm girlfriend until they broke it off in the fall of 2005. She was linked with surfer Kelly Slater shortly afterwards, but they are said to have split in July of this year.

Hartnett and Johansson have not had a very stable relationship. They have been rumored to have broken up several times, Johansson has said that she’s no fan of monogamy, and Hartnet was seen out with an unknown brunette while he was filming in Australia.

I doubt that Josh and Gisele will last. He does seem like the intelligent type like DiCaprio, but he doesn’t strike me as a guy who could hold Gisele’s interests.

Scarlet and Josh are like Sienna and Jude and will probably keep running back to each other when they’re both single. At least they have the sense not to talk about it.

It’s pretty bad news lately for celebrity couples. Scarlett Johansson and Josh Hartnett have been plagued by breakup rumors before, with reports that Josh broke up with Scarlett back in March, after they had been dating for just over a year. In June Josh’s people finally denied the rumors, simply stating that they were still together. Josh made a few roundabout statements in interviews about how relationships were hard, and Scarlett said that she’s not really into monogamy, but that she doesn’t get around as much as people assume. (She said she does get an HIV test once a year to make sure, though.)

In August they bought a $6 million Tribeca loft together - and are said to have requested extra soundproofing in the bedroom!

Now the NY Post is reporting that their relationship is in trouble.

Sources tell Page Six the “Black Dahlia” star and her longtime boyfriend and co-star, Josh Hartnett, are close to calling it quits. “They are on the rocks,” said one source. “Scarlett is always mad at him, and they are always arguing.” Another insider says Hartnett hasn’t been in the United States in weeks - presumably he’s shooting “30 Days of Night” in New Zealand. Reps for Johansson and Hartnett did not return calls.

What is that movie “30 Days of Night” that Hartnett is making? Is it a “40 Days and 40 Nights” sequel, because I thought that was hysterical. (It’s a Vampire movie, but I couldn’t resist.)

We’ll have to see if Scarlett and Josh are over, but chances are no one is going to confirm anything for a while. This couple goes to a lot of trouble to stay under the radar, and it’s possible they’ve been broken up for a while.
