People magazine has released their annual best dressed list, ahead of the best dressed issue of their magazine. Then again, with a stylist in tow it’s easy to gain best dressed kudos, so the worst dressed is probably more interesting! I wish that list was longer.

Why have best dressed men lists? Even the most stylish man just tends to walk around in either a tuxedo or a t-shirt. There’s not much complicated about men’s dressing, why not have best punk rocker style for say, Pete Wentz? Or Best male use of make up, which would probably also be won by Pete Wentz.

I’m also confused about the criteria: Avril Lavinge’s lace dress and combat boots is a style no-no, but Lily Allen’s signature look is a dress and hi-top sneakers (Lily is mentioned in a British best dressed section of the magazine). Aren’t these just different versions of the same look? And none of the women on the best dressed list are cleavage shy, but it’s not okay for Hilary Clinton to show off her assets?

Sienna Miller lit into photographers, calling them “rapists,” and dropping F-Bombs all over the place while she was being hounded by photographers during the launch of her new fashion store, “Twenty8Twelve,” in London’s Notting Hill area.

She shouted: “F*** off, you f***ing ****s.”

“See you in court, you f***ing rapists.”

One photographer who was at the launch said he was shocked at the outburst:

“I was quite flabbergasted. We were just doing our jobs, all we were trying to do was get some quotes on how the opening of the shop went and she called us all rapists. It’s an outrageous term to use for such a petty little thing as being at a party and being photographed. It was completely the wrong context to use that word.”

A commenter who posted on the Sun website, said they were one of the photographers who were in attentance as the spectacle went down and what respect the photographer had previous to the tirade is all but gone:

“I was one of the photographers who witnessed Sienna & Rhys’s outburst and any respect I had for either of them has gone now. Sienna in particular is absolutely vile, a nasty piece of work who doesn’t deserve to be placed on a pedestal by anyone. If it weren’t for the fact that she was blessed with good looks, she would have no career because she can’t act to save her life!”

I know she was drunk, especially since photographs have surfaced which show her being escorted on the arms of friends has she tries to walk out, but I think this is a bit much - all this name calling and disrespect for those who really make her famous in the first place. I often wonder what celebs would do if all the photographers just went away. What irks me is they spend years doing whatever it takes to to get people to notice them and then when they finally get what they want, they spend the remainder of their careers telling everyone they just want their “privacy.”

25 year-old British method actress Sienna Miller has managed to keep her mouth shut about her ill-fated on-again off-again relationship with cad Jude Law for at least a month that I can tell. Since splitting with Law, she was linked with Hayden Christensen and super catch P. Diddy. She was partying in Ibiza with Diddy just last week, although she insists they’re “just friends.”

Yesterday she was linked with an upcoming costar, LOTR hottie and fellow Brit Sean Bean, 48. Sienna was said to be head over heels for the actor and to have had him over to her place for some, uh, home cookin’:

In fact, she is so into him that she has already spent a romantic evening with him at her west London home, where she treated him to the culinary delight of beef stew.

A source close to Sienna, 25, revealed: “She is completely mesmerised by Bean already. She has told friends that she can’t help feeling transfixed by his green eyes and loves the fact that he is a real macho man.”

Sienna is due to begin filming Oscar Wilde’s A Woman Of No Importance with Bean in September - but she hasn’t wasted any time in getting to know Sheffield-born Bean.

As well as a romantic meal, Sienna is understood to be on the phone nonstop to the 48-year-old actor, who has split with girlfriend Georgina Sutcliffe.

Our source continues: “He is almost twice Sienna’s age but she doesn’t care about that.

“She has dated many men of many different ages, and who have varied circumstances, so the fact he is a bit older isn’t an issue for her, she is hoping to get to know him a lot better.”

Today that same source, The Daily Mail, has her with her other costar, Matthew Rhys (not the hot probably gay one, that’s Jonathan Rhys Meyers.) Either Sienna is all over the place or the Daily Mail is trying to make it like she’s sleeping around, not that she needs help in that department. It seems like the only information they have about this supposed relationship are the group dates Sienna went on with Rhys, Keira Knightley and her boyfriend back when they were filming, but that’s old news and they all just looked like they were hanging out:

A friend says, “This is the first bloke Sienna has been serious with since she finally split from Jude. These vicious allegations of her being with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and splitting up his relationship with Kim Porter are awful.

I would bet Sienna is actually all up in Sean Bean’s grill and that this other story about her non-romance with Matthew Rhys is just meant to make her look like a slut. Again, she doesn’t need help in that department.

The NY Post points out that she has a history of hooking up with her co-stars: first Jude Law in Alfie, then Hayden Christiansen, now Sean Bean and maybe Matthew Rhys. She’s young, though, and it’s not like she’s breaking up any relationships - or is she?

Despite being seen canoodling with each other as recently as July 1st, Sienna Miller says she and P Diddy are not an item.
Zee News reports Miller saying, “’I am in love with someone but not Puff Daddy. He`s just a good friend. Anyway he has a beautiful girlfriend,’”

I call BS on that. Diddy’s “beautiful girlfriend” Kim Porter moved out of their home last Thursday, as reported here on Celebitchy. This article came out today, so there are already some untruths coming out of Sienna Miller’s mouth. And I call BS on the “beautiful” part of that comment too, but that’s another story.

Miller claims that she’s in love with someone, but it isn’t Diddy, and she isn’t saying who it is. I didn’t give much credence to this rumor when it first surfaced a few months ago. I can’t put my finger on it, but somehow they just don’t make sense together. However this is pretty clear to me:

“Diddy was seen flirting with the ‘Factory Girl’ star in a cozy corner of the Central London club at a post-Concert For Diana party on July 1. The two surrounded themselves with bouncers for privacy and cuddled up in the corner, too immersed in each other to notice anything else going on around them.

But when they noticed fellow clubbers staring at them, the pair moved to a more secluded section of the club. However Diddy has insisted that his warm chat with Miller at the party following his Wembley performance was above suspicion. “Yeah, we all hang out together but there`s no more to it than that,” Diddy said.”

I always cuddle in the corner with good friends, all the while making bouncers surround me so no one can see what we’re up to. And it pisses me off when my significant other considers that evidence of cheating. It really is presumptuous. So within four days of this post-concert cuddling, Diddy’s girlfriend moved out. Coincidence, no? Not that I could live with that ego, so I could understand either way. Porter and Diddy have been on and off for 10 years. They have three children together, separated by a few Diddy had at random intervals in between. So while it was a long-term relationship, it doesn’t sound like it was rock solid. If Sienna Miller can break you up, you probably shouldn’t be in the relationship anyway.

Valentino celebrated his 45th anniversary as a top designer with a star-studded three day affair in Rome this weekend to the tune of over $10 million. Celebrities including Uma Thurman, Claire Danes, Sarah Jessica Parker, Anne Hathaway, Jennifer Hudson, Liz Hurley, Eva Mendes, Claudia Schiffer, Joan Collins, Rupert Everett, and Guan Yin attended a fashion show, exhibition, dinner, and gala ball in honor of the famed designer.

The bash kicked off on Friday with a gala dinner in the 2nd century Temple of Venus in the shadow of the Colosseum.

Valentino, 75, spent a reported £135,000 restoring the ancient monument built by the Emperor Hadrian and flew in royal florist Rob Van Helden from London to bedeck columns with garlands of flowers.

He also launched an exhibition of his creations in the city’s Ara Pacis museum with examples of his coveted designs showcased behind bulletproof glass.

Visitors were greeted by a giant red glass cube encasing one of his earlier dresses, then led along a walkway featuring 300 of his designs in red, black and white on mannequins.

The collection included sequined and ruffled gowns worn by the likes of Audrey Hepburn after Valentino opened his first boutique in Rome in the 1960s.

On Saturday a 1,000-strong audience watched him unveil his latest collection of 61 outfits in the medieval Santo Spirito in Sassia church near the Vatican.

The opulent bash continued with a lavish party in the grounds of historic Villa Borghese and the launch of his new perfume, Rock’n'Rose Couture.

While the 74 year-old Valentino has not mentioned that he’s retiring, his fashion house was taken over by a private equity group in May, with the handover to be finished sometime this summer. His partner said that everything would continue as usual under the new owners, but the equity group that has acquired the firm is known for cost-cutting and are expected to reign in Valentino’s excessive spending. At least he’ll always have Rome.

Tongues are wagging, knickers are twisting and rumors are flying that Sienna Miller’s sex scenes with Hayden Christensen in her new movie … are … drum roll …the real thing.

The hot and steamy sex scenes between actress Sienna Miller and actor Hayden Christensen in their new film Factory Girl are getting all kinds of press and not just because they’re so intense, but because an alleged insider says that the intensity comes from the fact that the sex wasn’t simulated. A source told The New York Daily News, “It’s not simulated. They’re really doing it.”

Sienna is playing Andy Warhol’s tragic muse, Edie Sedgewick and HayC plays a thinly veiled Bob Dylan. The film Director’s quite evilly dropped a non-comment guaranteed to boost box office:

On Monday, at the premiere, director George Hickenlooper was asked about the controversy about if the sex was real and he said “I can’t comment. You’ll have to ask Sienna about it.”

A burnt Sienna hasn’t turned out to be exactly an angel of vengeance in the past – she certainly let Jude Law hang around long past his sell by date. It’s still what she’s most famous for … no great achievement … it’s a rather sad, footnote flavored way to live.

Hanging with Puff Diddly over the weekend might have been an attempt to amp up her weak Street cred – sadly no shots were fired although apparently many were drunk.

Still Factory Girl is the first film Sienna’s carrying as a lead - definitely a make or break moment in a film career and coulda, woulda, shoulda questions will only drum up extra excited coverage. Of course a tad more coverage of the extra excited during the actual shoot — and it alll could have been avoided.

TMZ reports that Diddy was seen dropping Sienna Miller off at her New York City hotel Monday morning, and it could mean they were doing more than partying all night. Diddy and Sienna were spotted getting cozy at a Sundance party a couple of weeks ago. Either they’re just friends or Diddy is getting busy with the British actress known more for getting cheated on by Jude Law and acting like a diva than for her forgettable work on screen.

Given that Diddy’s bodyguard is said to have tried to convince the photographer to get rid of the incriminating pictures, he does seem to be guilty about something:

Diddy, father of newborn twins, was spotted dropping off Miller at her NYC hotel this morning after a rumored night of partying together in the city. Diddy had a trapped rat look when he noticed cameras watching from across the street — and we’re told a bodyguard was sent over to the photographer to try and get him to delete the footage.

Combs and Miller were rumored to have gotten cozy at TAO nightclub during Sundance as well. Maybe Sienna’s working on a second career as a rapper.

Diddy just had twin girls over a month ago with his longterm partner, Kim Porter. Porter is rumored to know that Diddy cheats on her regularly, and is semi-ok with it as long as he keeps a low profile. With Sienna Miller, that’s going to be difficult.

Sienna recently made boring headlines with the news that she sent an assistant to fetch her a bunch of swag at Sundance, and demanded that a gifting suite be closed 30 minutes early so that her girl could raid it in privacy.

Metallic and white dresses were the trend at last night’s Golden Globes. Reese Witherspoon is a standout in a formfitting canary dress with a subtle braided belt and ruby red shoes. She looks incredible.

Hayek and Garner were lovely in white, while Miller looks ridiculous in a metallic and white too-tight dress. I never quite understood her appeal.

Witherspoon, Hayek, Garner, and Miller were all presenters at the Globes, which was said to be rather boring and long overall. I taped it, but didn’t watch it yet. It’s six hours later here than EST so I have an excuse. What did you guys think?

Celebrities are channeling Gidget these days, stepping out in minidresses with a classic 1960s silhouette. I’m definitely a fan of this shape; it’s not the most sophisticated of garments, but it’s certainly a fresh, playful look. And because a lot of these dresses have long sleeves, you can still show off your legs during the winter months without getting hypothermia. (It’s worth a shot, anyway.)

So how are the stars adapting this style to suit their personal mojos? J Lo. updates her burgundy number with rich-looking accessories and the usual bronzed-to-perfection skin, while Sienna (seen here shortly before her latest breakup with Jude) is pure 1960s fashion icon thanks to the graphic-splash neckline on her dress. Last but not least is one of the Olsen twins (I’m afraid I’ve lost the ability to tell them apart) in the pages of Teen Vogue, wearing a decidedly Austin Powers-esque go-go girl shift.

What will be next in the retro parade?

Poor Sienna Miller. She’s gotten so used to wearing her TJ Maxx leggings and ratty old t-shirts that she’s forgotten how to carry herself in an evening gown. While attending the Metropolitan Opera in New York recently, Sienna arrived with her lovely dress in one piece. But by the time she was leaving, she was lucky it was still hanging onto her body. Apparently, either she or someone else stepped on the dress and ripped the skirt away from the bodice. Maybe next time she’ll remember to hold up her dress when she walks, or better yet, get it hemmed by a tailor to fit her petite frame.
