It’s been a while since Katie Holmes and Victoria Beckham have been seen out together spending their husbands’ money on overpriced clothing they’ll wear for a fraction of a day. Star offers a potential explanation for their maybe-rift in the form of “insider information” that’s likely to be completely fabricated, but is too good to pass up. Katie is said to have called tattoos “trashy,” and since Victoria Beckham enjoys decorating her twig-like limbs with permanent ink, she is said to have found that comment particularly insulting:

You can see Katie Holmes saying this. She dresses and acts like an old lady, it’s not a stretch to claim she thinks like one too. (Although people of all ages think tattoos are trashy.)

Katie and Victoria famously attended Paris Fashion Week together in October, 2006, and spent time in Paris again in January, 2007. Apart from some get-togethers with their husbands they haven’t spent a lot of time together since. The last we heard of the Cruises and Beckhams together was in early December, 2006 2007 when Tom and Katie took Suri to a Spice Girls concert. Maybe they just aren’t best buddies. Or maybe Katie did insult Victoria - by copping her look and then calling her former good friend’s body art “trashy.”

Three-year-old Cruz Beckham, the youngest son of Victoria and David Beckham, rocked the house at NYC’s Madison Square Garden last night. The toddler joined his mother and older brothers on stage during a Spice Girls concert, and busted a few breakdancing moves for the delighted crowd. During a song paying tribute to mothers, all the Spice Girls brought out their children, and little Cruz was more than happy to upstage his famous mommy and her friends:

They cancelled their tour supposedly to spend more time with their children.

So it was more than a little ironic that The Spice Girls were upstaged by an amazing display of breakdancing moves from little Cruz Beckham.

The youngest Beckham boy, who will be three tomorrow, charmed the notoriously tough crowd at Madison Square Garden with an amazing display of breakdancing, revealing a hidden talent for the crowd pleasing moves.

Even Spice Girl Melanie Brown, mother of Angel Iris and Phoenix Chi, was amazed at his spontaneous performance and she had to stop singing as she laughs out loud in amazement and says “that’s brilliant” as proud mother Victoria looks on smiling.

A lucky concertgoer who saw the three-year-old in action told PerezHilton.com: “All the girls had to stop singing because they were laughing so hard…He did a little head stand, then even spun on his head a little.

“They couldn’t get him off the stage when the song was over. It was the most adorable thing I’ve ever seen!!”

Maybe Cruz has a future in show business like his parents. It sure looks like he loves the spotlight. I also think it’s funny that he never seems intimidated by the paparazzi when he goes out with his parents. He does seem a lot more mature than the average two-year-old– I’ve seen him in pictures before when traveling with Mommy handling his own luggage! He seems like a fun kid. All the Spice Girls’ children are adorable. I can see why they would rather end the whole Spice Girls thing to spend time with them. In the photographs from that show, it’s notable that Cruz’s older brother, Brooklyn, who is now 9, looks bored out of his mind. Oh, well– not everyone is born to be onstage.

Victoria and David Beckham seem to have one of those rare celebrity marriage that appears to be pretty stable. Though the two have weathered a few storms (accusations have occasionally popped up regarding David’s possible cheating on Victoria) all and all they seem to be pretty solid. This could be because they have a lot in common – an intense passion for shopping and acquiring “stuff,” sticking their names on various perfumes, buying houses, and being seen at trendy events. I didn’t say it was a deep relationship. But it seems to work pretty well for them. The Mirror and The Daily Mail are reporting that their relationship is stronger than ever, and the pair secretly renewed their wedding vows.

David and Victoria Beckham have secretly retaken their marriage vows - and got matching tattoos to celebrate the romantic occasion. Only a handful of friends and family were invited to watch them remarry in the grounds of Beckingham Palace. One said: “We were in tears. It was beautiful and very non-showbiz.” The couple marked the big day by tattooing the ceremony date on their wrists in Roman numerals.

The Mirror reports that they took a second honeymoon together in Paris, and David took Victoria shopping at her two favorite stores, Azzedine Alaia and Colette. He told her to pick out whatever she wanted as a second-wedding gift. While that’s really sweet, I think what’s more special is all the work and thought David put into it. A guy planning a whole quasi-wedding ceremony on his own? And managing to keep it a secret from his wife? That’s a pretty big deal, and it sounds like Beckham put a lot of care and thought into trying to make it as special as possible.

A lot of people think it’s tacky to renew vows, since a couple already had a wedding and all. Frankly I think that - considering how many marriages end in divorce or fall into a state of unhappiness – there’s much worse things than celebrating your successful union, and loving your spouse so much that you want to do it all over again. It sounds like this was a very thoughtful tribute to their relationship and the life they’ve created together.

Anyway, Becks isn’t one to just give his wife a bouquet of roses – he’s a romantic! So, he’s getting her a tattoo.

It is common knowledge that David Beckham has a thing for tattoos, and that he is head over heels in love with his wife Victoria. And so the ace player on the Los Angeles Galaxy team has decided to dedicate a new image on his body to Posh Spice for Valentine’s Day. According to the British press, David will be having a rose tattooed onto his arm as a declaration of love: the idea shocked Victoria, even if it is not the first time the football player has made a “tribute” to his beloved spouse on his skin. The rose for Victoria will be the twelfth tattoo of the former captain of the British Nationals team.

When I first heard this, I thought the tattoo was going to be on a more intimate part of David, not his arm.

Both David and Victoria have tattoos reflecting their union. Victoria has four eight-pointed stars on the base of her spine, one each for David and her three children.

David has Victoria’s name, misspelled unfortunately, on his lower back in Hindi script. Underneath is a Latin phrase meaning ‘So that I love and cherish.’ He also has a tattoo for fidelity, saying “I am my beloved’s, and my beloved is mine, that shepherds among the lilies.” in Hebrew. He also has a guardian angel on his back overlooking his children’s names.

Victoria is very lucky. Most husbands give perfume for Valentine’s Day, but Posh and Becks already have a fragrance, and it’s named after them. He might have given her candy, but she doesn’t look much like a girl who eats candy. Or much else.

The Beckhams are known for extravagant gift giving – they dropped $50,000 on a balloon tree house for their kids this Christmas, when they already had an $187,000 playhouse from previous years. Still, sometimes the simple gift is the best. My husband and I don’t do Valentine’s Day gifts generally, but last year we took advantage of a Valentine’s Day bungee jump discount for couples. Never, ever again. Ever.

Posh will have to wait for her gift - the Beckhams are spending their first Valentine’s Day apart since they were married in 1999.

There are few things that I consider to be less sexy than Victoria Beckham. She looks like a fencepost that someone’s tied two unsightly balloons onto in an effort to alert people to a birthday party inside the house. Looking at her makes me want cake and pin the tail on the donkey. She does not make me want to rip my clothes off and do dirty things. But for whatever disgusting reason, David Beckham apparently disagrees with me. He’s just gotten a “seductive” tattoo of a naked Victoria on his left arm. I hope he plans to have sex with his shirt on.

Football star David Beckham has a new tattoo, and this one is unlike all the others - it’s a naked picture of his wife Victoria. In other - and I’m sure unrelated - news, David Beckham has announced that he will be abstaining from sex until his vision completely fades away. Which will happen much quicker now that he has a naked Posh inked onto his arm. Despite my strenuous objections, David clearly knows what he’s doing - this is his 11th tattoo. He’s also got the names of all three of his kids on various locales. I can’t help but wonder how he’s going to explain the naked image of their mother to them. The most important part of learning about the birds and the bees when growing up is the ability to reassure yourself that your parents don’t know about it, and certainly have never done it. That’s going to be a lot more challenging - and oddly confusing - when the boys see their mom’s boobs on their dad’s arm.

Victoria Beckham, who I will forever refer to as Posh Spice, has been voted the sexiest mother by designers and executives at Victoria’s Secret. I’m not sure I look at those melons she has disguised as breasts and her neon orange glow and come up with sexy. Perhaps they meant skinniest mother? Scariest mother? I suspect that Posh only beat Angelina Jolie by the tiniest of margins (about as wide as her teeny waist) and soon will need to pass her crown to Halle Berry.

Is there too much pressure on mothers to be yummy mummies? Posh went into hiding during the later, larger months of her pregnancies, so she wouldn’t be seen as fat. Women all over the world would line up to see that tiny woman fat. I mean, pregnant. Fat would be more fun though. It must be nice for Victoria to get called the sexiest mother, as it can’t be easy maintaining that lithe physique.

Other sexy celebs, according to Victoria’s Secret, include Ryan Seacrest for his smile, Eva Mendes was sexiest actress (not as good an an Oscar but better than a kick in the teeth), and Katherine Heigl and Josh Kelley were sexiest newlyweds.

I love irony. Speaking of which, always perma-tanned-to-the ugliest-shade-of-orange-you’ve-ever-seen-in-your-life Spice Girl Victoria Beckham has joined forces with designer Marc Jacobs to create an anti-skin cancer t-shirt for the Interdisciplinary Melanoma Cooperative Group. Wait, this isn’t irony so much as it is hypocrisy. I’m assuming it’s actually like those anti-smoking ads that feature people who just couldn’t quit – and they’re smoking a cigarette through their surgically-created neck hole. So Posh is basically their stoma.

Despite her recent foray back into global pop stardom, Victoria Beckham has still managed to find time to strip off and pose nude for a new designer campaign. Covering her modesty with her hands and the caption “Protect the skin you’re in” Posh Spice is the official face of a T-shirt created by Marc Jacobs to raise awareness of the damage sun can do to skin.

Although it is sure to gain the campaign column inches and a significant following, using perma-tanned Posh could be seen as a bit of an odd choice to be the face of such a cause.

However, the Spice Girl, who has not sported the pale and interesting look since back in the nineties, claims her attitude to skincare has changed since moving to the States. “I have realised how important it is to practise safe sun for myself and to keep the skin of my three boys well protected as well,” she says.

While I’m guessing the shirts are supposed to be sexy, I think they actually serve as a warning. If Victoria’s image were in color instead of black and white, you’d really get the picture. “Stop going to the tanning booth or you could end up looking like this!” While it’s good she claims to have had a change of heart and at least covers her kids, Victoria’s still looking like she hits the tanning beds. Though I suppose she could just be really good at applying self-tanner. It’s going to be really uncomfortable when we see Posh out and about, sporting the shirt which clashed so terribly with her carrot-laced skin.

There are a lot of significant differences between British and American English. A few are funny and lead to amusing/embarrassing anecdotes about when you accidentally told someone to light a gay person on fire and stick them in your mouth, or someone asked you where the lift was and you offered to pick them up. Things like that. Then there are the rare words that you don’t even realize mean two completely different things, because it doesn’t come up a lot. Along the lines of fag = cigarette, lift = elevator, it turns out that style = emaciated crack whore. Victoria Beckham has said that she loves Amy Winehouse’s “sense of style.” Clearly something was lost in translation.

Posh and Amy actually have very similar body shapes. Posh got hers through her legendary sushi and oxygen diet, whereas Amy’s came about from the slightly tougher meth, beer, and blood diet. Both require strict adherence to some pretty unhealthy rules, but if you really stick with it, you can whittle your 5’3 body down to 81 pounds. And it seems like that’s the only real requirement in the Victoria Beckham style school. Amy Winehouse is just one pair of rigidly round implants away from marrying David Beckham. If I were Posh, I wouldn’t admire Amy, I’d be wary of the competition.

The Spice Girls are touring, making them suddenly cool again (or maybe ‘cool’ for the first time). Victoria Beckham is featured on the cover of Elle magazine this month, and revealed what we’ve long suspected - she has no natural talents.

As if to prove that she has no talent, at the Los Angeles Spice Girls show she skipped her solo singing spot, instead opting for a prance down the runway.

Baby, Scary, Ginger and Sporty each belted out solo numbers. Mel C’s “I Turn to You”, Scary’s rendition of “Are You Gonna Go My Way” and Ginger’s of “It’s Raining Men” brought the house down! Meanwhile, Posh rested her pipes and opted instead for a maaayjah prance down the runway as a mix of Madonna’s “Like a Virgin” and RuPaul’s “Supermodel” played in the background.

When the Spice Girls were in their heyday it was always said that Posh and Sporty were the two strongest singers, so I wonder if Victoria’s reluctance to sing is actually from a lack of self confidence. Although, she did work that catwalk!

I was looking through photos of The Elizabeth: The Golden Age premiere in London a couple days ago and I thought “What was Victoria Beckham doing there?” But it turns out the person in question is even less qualified to show up at a movie premiere, it was a little-known UK Big Brother contestant named Chanelle Hayes. Hayes has made somewhat of a career out of imitating Posh, right down to her outfits and vacant pout. I have to say she has it down, and she adds some much-needed curves and a more aquiline nose to Posh’s look.

After leaving the Big Brother UK House Hayes went to LA and started prancing around looking like Posh and hoping to get noticed, and she was - a little. People mostly commented on what a nuisance she was:

She’s not even in the house any more, but Chanelle Hayes continues to wind me up. Not content with iimitating Victoria Beckham in this country, Chanelle is currently stalking her idol all over L.A. - and when I say “stalking”, I’m really not joking - I’m surprised the Beckhams haven’t taken out an injunction against her.

Chanelle travelled to L.A. last week. Since her arrival, she’s been mostly hanging around Rodeo Drive dressed up as Posh, hoping that Victoria will rock up and become her new BFF. She also attended an LA Galaxy game, where, despite being refused entry to the VIP enclosure ( I wonder why?) Chanelle still managed to steal some of the limelight from Victoria - now we know why Posh was so stony-faced when David scored that goal last week. Chanelle then made a point of telling everyone who would listen how “gorgeous” David is, and how she has “fallen for him”. Yeah. What a great way to make friends with Victoria Beckham - follow her around dressed up as her, then go on about how much you fancy her husband. That’ll totally work, Chanelle!

As for Posh, she’s in no hurry to meet Hayes. The same blog quotes her as saying that she’s “flattered that Chanelle is a fan, but is in no hurry to meet her”.

Victoria Beckham was recently grilled by a British DJ about whether her boobs were real. On the Radio 1 breakfast show, host Chris Moyles blurted “Everybody knows they’re fake, Victoria, just admit it – we don’t have a problem with them. Seriously, you go jogging without a bra and they don’t move.” Without missing a beat, Posh said “I don’t go jogging,” but refused to acknowledge the question. She also said that David “loves them” when the interviewer compared them to an early Christmas present.
