The name Bryan Ferry might not be immediately recognizable to some of you, but he’s the lead singer of the 70s-80s band Roxy Music. (Which was before my time, but I still remember them fondly from my teen and college years.) As a side note, I sometimes confuse Bryan Ferry with Brian Eno, who was also in Roxy Music as their keyboardist and has gone on to create some incredible experimental music. Ferry has had a successful solo career as a crooner and I’ve included a video below.

While I’ve admired Ferry’s music for some time I’ve known very little about his personal life. It turns out that Ferry, 66, regularly dates women who are definitely young enough to be his daughters, and he’s now marrying one who actually dated his son Isaac. From what I can find, Isaac is 26 so at least he’s a tad younger than his dad’s new bride – who also happens to be his Isaac’s ex girlfriend.

VETERAN rocker Bryan Ferry has married for the second time in a private wedding in the Caribbean.

The 66-year-old singer married Amanda Sheppard, 29, in a ceremony at the luxury beach resort of Amanyara on the Turks and Caicos Islands on January 4.

Sheppard is Ferry’s son Isaac’s ex girlfriend.

A spokesman for the star said it was a “simple private ceremony”.

Ferry was made a CBE in November in recognition of a career in music spanning almost 40 years and covering everything from experimental tunes to sophisticated soulful pop.

His distinctive delivery, good looks, debonair sense of style and supermodel girlfriends including Jerry Hall have all added to his image as the most fashionable of rock stars.

The Daily Mail has a little more on their relationship, including the fact that Amanda quit her job doing PR work in 2009 right after she started dating Bryan. They also have a photo of their wedding day.

This woman looks like Ferry’s daughter and if I saw them together casually I would assume as much. We covered a story yesterday story about Stellan Skarsgard, 60, having a second baby with his 35 year-old wife, who happens to be the same age as his oldest son, Alex. We focused on how strange it must be for Alex and his other brothers from his dad’s first marriage to have siblings that were infants. Another consideration could be that daddy married a woman in his sons’ peer group who could end up with the millions in inheritance money his sons thought they had coming. Add the fact that Isaac Ferry actually dated his dad’s wife and it makes for all sorts of dysfunction. How did that go exactly? Were Isaac and Amanda broken up before dad Bryan swooped in, or did he steal her away from his son?

Call me crazy, but I kind of thought that Alan Cumming was mostly straight. Sure, I knew he had sex with men, but I thought that his bisexuality swung more towards lady-love than dong-love. I was wrong. Alan has been with the same dude for years and years. They had a civil partnership ceremony five years ago, and for their anniversary, they just got married!!! Mazel tov!

Actor Alan Cumming has married his long-time love Grant Shaffer for the second time. The couple celebrated the fifth anniversary of their civil partnership in London by exchanging vows in New York this weekend.

The 46-year-old Scot revealed the news on Twitter, writing: ‘I just got married!’ He posted a picture of the overjoyed couple embracing after the nuptials, held at the Soho Grand Hotel. In the picture, Cumming and Shaffer are seen smiling and hugging while their are applauded by their friends and family.

The Good Wife star wrote later: ‘On the 5th anniversary of our wedding in London Grant and I tied the knot again in NYC!!! #eatmericksantorum’

His message ‘Eat me Rick Santorum’ refers to the candidate Republican nomination for president, who is vocal in his opposition to gay marriage.

The couple, who reside in New York, were first married at the Old Royal Naval College Greenwich on January 7, 2007 after two years of dating. At 21, Cumming married his RSADA classmate Hilary Lyon. They split eight years later, and Cumming was later engaged to his Circle of Friends co-star Saffron Burrows.

The X Men star, who was awarded an OBE in 2009, has labelled himself as bisexual in previous interviews. Speaking to Oasis magazine in 2007, he said it had always been known among his inner circle, but he felt the need to ‘come out’ publicly.

‘It was all sort of there, but when you become more famous then you realize you’ve got to say something… just to clarify it and talk about it, and make sure it was talked about in terms that I approved of because people try and claim you, I think. The gay community tries to claim you, the straight community tries to claim you. But I felt that was more for press stuff, because I just felt I was being misrepresented a lot of the time, mostly with people saying I was straight. It is confusing for people because I’d been married before. Now I’m married again, to a man, but I’d been married to a woman, and gone out with women. And then, I hadn’t really had regular relationships with men, long-term ones, I mean. But amongst my friends, amongst people I’d known, I was always bisexual.’

You know what? I would still hit it like a house on fire. I think Alan is so sexy, and he seems like a hoot too. I’m strangely happy to learn that he’s been in a committed relationship with the same man for so long, though – and it’s so amazing that Alan and Grant were finally able to marry. Yay! OMG! Johnny Weir got married, y’all! Last I heard about Johnny Weir’s love life, he was dating some willowy blonde, right? But that’s over, apparently. Weir began dating hottie Victor Voronov over the summer, and over the holidays, they got married! I’m really happy for Johnny. His husband is super-cute! And he’s Russian. And Jewish! Such a catch. Victor has even changed his Twitter name to Victor Weir-Voronov.

He said “I do!”

Figure skater and reality star Johnny Weir married Victor Voronov on New Year’s Eve. “I’m married!” the 27-year-old tweeted Saturday.

Weir clarified that his “wedding [will be] in the summer, but all the official stuff is done now!”

“No more livin’ in sin,” he joked.

Weir told IceNetwork.com that Voronov is “kind of everything that I’ve ever looked for and aspired to be in a relationship with.”

“We’ve known each other for a long time and we reconnected over the summer, and it’s just been a whirlwind,” he told the site. “I’m very happy with my personal life and also my professional life, and I thank God I can be exactly where I’m at.”

I’m assuming Johnny and Victor were married in New York, where gay marriage is legal now (and where Johnny and Victor live). I was going through their Twitter pages, and it does seem like they were in New York on New Year’s Eve, so I’m just saying… they got hitched in NYC.

I can’t help it, this story made me laugh. It seems like Brandi Glanville, ex-wife of Eddie Cibrian and current reality star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, went to Las Vegas for New Year’s, and she ended up getting married. Seriously, it was a Vegas elopement, and from the look of the photos, Brandi and her new husband were completely sh-tfaced.

Brandi Glanville is once again a married woman — but “not for long.”

The 38-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star tied the knot on a whim with Mixed Martial Arts manager Darin Harvey over the weekend, Us Weekly can confirm.

The former model, whose ex-husband Eddie Cibrian famously left her for LeAnn Rimes, informed fans of her new relationship status via Twitter Sunday: “I’m married again- suuuuuuck it!”

The newlyweds celebrated by visiting a strip club, Spearmint Rhino. “Honeymoons with strippers are the best!” Glanville tweeted.

Glanville, who shares two sons with Cibrian, added that Harvey is her “best friend” and she’s now an “official housewife, for reals.”

“After some beer and strippers he is now my husband,” she said. “No joke!”

Calling their union “a drunken BFF thing,” Harvey told his Twitter followers that their booze-fueled elopement won’t last. “I had a crazy Vegas moment,” he explained Sunday. “Getting annulled tomorrow.”

Here are some photos from Sinead O’Connor’s marriage to 38 year-old addiction counselor Barry Herridge on her 45th birthday yesterday. Sinead made the announcement on Wednesday that she was about to fly to Vegas to marry her boyfriend of under two months, by most of our counts. A lot of you noted that this dude has a five head, and Micheal K at DListed called him the Megamind villain. He’s definitely forehead challenged, but he looks sweet, not evil (not unlike the Megamind villain) and these two seem very much in love.

Sinead lost about 28 pounds after going off her bipolar medication. She also seems to have regained her impulsiveness and zest for life, and I’ll let you draw you own conclusions from that. Radar has more about the wedding, including the romantic message about her special day that she posted on her blog:

The Nothing Compares 2 U singer broke the surprising news of her impending nuptials on Wednesday, writing on her blog: “With enormous joy myself and my beloved boyfriend Barry Herridge will be getting married tomorrow, December 8th 2011 at ‘an un-disclosed location’ in my absolute dream wedding ceremony. We will post a photo or two here on the site as soon as possible afterward. Very happy girl. (sic)”

Sinead – who has four children from previous relationships – has previously been married three times, to music producer John Reynolds in 1989, journalist Nicholas Sommerlad in 2001 and long-time friend and collaborator Steve Cooney in July 2010.

Well good for her, and I’m glad she invited the paparazzi to her wedding. She’s been dating this guy nearly two months, they may as well pledge to stay together for the rest of their lives. The last I remember reporting on Sinead O’Connnor, she was taking applicants for sex partners over her website. In August she wrote that she was so horny that vegetables were starting to look sexy and that she was seeking a hairy stud who would screw her properly. She was actually much more explicit than that. On October 21 she wrote that she’d found a successful applicant, and then yesterday she blogged that she was getting married to him! She told an Irish radio station that she was flying to Vegas with the guy to make it official. They haven’t been together two months yet, but she’s overjoyed and is ready to marry her fourth husband. Sinead will be 45 tomorrow and she has four children from four different fathers. They range in age from about 25 to 4. She’s had her tubes tied, though, so she won’t be having any more kids. SINEAD O’Connor is to marry her fourth husband in Las Vegas tomorrow. The controversial singer announced the news on RTE radio today on her way to the airport to catch a flight.

She wrote on her website that she is to marry her ‘beloved boyfriend’ Barry Herridge tomorrow – her 45th birthday.

She said it was her ‘dream wedding ceremony’ and described herself as ‘very happy girl’.

The mother-of-four looked for love very publically recently with a campaign to find a man online, on Twitter and on the Late Late show.

Her fourth husband is believed to be an addiction counsellor for children.

She spoke to John Murray on his RTE show today about her wedding plans.

She told the Sunday Independent last month that she wouldn’t rule out a fourth marriage but definitely wouldn’t be having any more children, after having a tubal ligation procedure at Beaumont Hospital in recent weeks.

“I’ve spent my adult life either, trying, or not trying, to get pregnant so I had my tubes done. Anyway, I’m a basketcase when I’m pregnant, so for a successful relationship that can’t happen,” she added.

The singer split with third husband Steve Cooney in March, after eight months.

However, she described all of her three husbands — which also include music producer John Reynolds and journalist Nick Sommerland — as “very nice people” who have never asked for anything in settlements.

“I think they were all just glad to see the back of me,” she laughed.

She generated huge publicity by her public search for love and her admissions that she wanted a man and missed sex desperately.

There’s more in that article about how she’s coming off bipolar medication and was able to lose 28 pounds (2 stone) as a result. She claims she was “mistakenly diagnosed as being bi-polar.” People with bipolar disorder often show impulsive behavior. Looking for random sex online and then marrying someone after just a few weeks would certainly qualify as impulsive. Well, congratulations to her and good luck. Maybe she found a good one in this addiction counselor dude.

Did you remember that Amber Tamblyn, 28, and David Cross, 47, were engaged? I didn’t. Kaiser put it in the links in August, and a quick look back at our archives reveals that these two were first spotted making out at a party back in 2008. They’re still together, they’re engaged, and it sounds like they’re having a lot of fun. US Weekly got a brief quote from the happy couple on their upcoming wedding. There’s no date given for when it’s planned and they just joke around about it, but their wedding is probably coming sometime soon.

David Cross and Amber Tamblyn’s nuptials will be “a fun show for our guests,” the Modern Family actor, 47, tells Us. “We’ll take the piss out of a traditional wedding.” He cheekily adds that he knew the actress, 28, was The One because “a letter in the mail” said so. Jokes the bride-to-be: “He’s a pathological liar.”

Well good for them! I know Amber from “House” and she was also in 127 Hours. I don’t watch “Modern Family” and I didn’t get into “Arrested Development” when it was on, so I’ll always know Cross as Ian from Alvin and The Chipmunks. Cross is coming back in the third installment of the series, Alvin and The Chipmunks: Chipwrecked. It’s out this December and I’m sure my kid will drag me to it. The Chipmunks movies have CGI characters as stars so there’s not likely to be a ton of promotion from the voice actors or the actors who play humans. I’d love to hear more about Cross and Tamblyn’s wedding, though. It would be great to see photos too. It sounds like they’re going to throw a great party.

Back in May, Real Housewife of Atlanta and professional Barbie-wig model Kim Zolciak gave birth to a son, Kroy Jagger Biermann. Kroy’s daddy is (also named) Kroy Biermann, and he’s an Atlanta Falcon, and surprisingly enough, Kroy (Senior) was all for buying the cow after he got the milk for free. Kroy and Kim got married on Friday (11/11/11) and they confirmed the news to Life & Style:

Life & Style can exclusively confirm that Kim Zolciak is officially off the market! A rep for the Real Housewives of Atlanta star confirms to Life & Style that Kim and Atlanta Falcons defensive end Kroy Biermann said “I do” in a beautiful ceremony in Atlanta on Nov. 11.

“This has been the happiest day of my life,” Kim exclusively tells Life & Style. “It’s been perfect. It’s been a dream come true.”

As Life & Style previously reported, Kim, 34, and Kroy, 26, got engaged in October after welcoming their first son, Kroy Jagger, together in May.

“He makes me a better person,” says Kim. “I love everything about him.”

The couple met at a charity function in 2010, during the filming of the third season of the hit Bravo reality series. Kim has two daughters, Brielle and Ariana, from a previous marriage. This is the first marriage for Kroy. Congratulations to the happy couple!

Kim is bats–t crazy, but I still wish her well. I’m glad she found someone unmarried this time, and I’m glad she got her happy ending with a wedding and a baby (in no particular order). Kroy (Senior) doesn’t seem all that bright, but he seems to like Kim and I have high hopes that they have a solid relationship. Did anyone else notice something sketchy about the ages, though? Just a few months ago, Kim was identifying herself as “32” (LOL). And now magically she’s “34”? WTF. Maybe with the love of a good man, she will continue to raise her age until it gets closer to reality. Congrats to Kim, Kroy and Kroy.

By the way, ONTD says that Kim walked down the aisle in a second-hand dress that she paid $58,000 for. Bitch didn’t even haggle – she just paid the listed price for a second-hand (“used”) dress that is pretty ugly.

As Kaiser wrote yesterday, I know that a lot of you want us to boycott the Kardashians. Even The NY Daily News called for a boycott. As a professional gossiper, my “professional” opinion is that this is way too good to ignore. This is when we get to mock them mercilessly, when all the crap we’ve been saying about them for years is made completely apparent to the rest of the word. This is when they go down in flames, letting off noxious fumes from all the substances injected into their faces (figuratively), and when we point and laugh.

Kris Jenner was on The View today to promote her new book. (The one where she claims she could have saved Nicole Brown Simpson’s life if she’d come over when Nicole asked her to, only she didn’t, Nicole got stabbed to death, and her ex husband went on to help OJ escape charges for the murders.) Kris probably had this whole promotional tour scheduled well before she had to do pitiful lying damage control for her daughter’s failed marriage.

Yesterday we heard Kris on The Today Show trying to insist that no one made any money off of Kim’s ridiculously lavish highly publicized wedding. Today she was on The View talking about Kim’s divorce, and how she was trying to be there for Kim as a mother. At one point she started crying, and it really amused me. I know I sound evil here, I just don’t care. As someone wrote on ONTD, these people are totally shameless and they deserve to be called out for it.

Here are some of Kris’ quotes. Kim is “brave” for calling off her marriage after less than three months instead of sticking it out and trying to make it work.

I don’t know [what happened with Kim's marriage]. All I know is that I’m her mom first and she confided in me and said ‘Mom, this is what I need to do. I have to do this and you have to trust me.’

I tell her ‘Are you sure this is a decision you need to make?’

She says ‘Yes… mommy, this is what I feel I need to do. Please trust me, please be there for me.’

Of course as her mom I’m with my girls [voice breaks] through thick and thin. [voice breaks, starts crying]

Sorry, I didn’t mean to go to the emotional place. It’s a tough time for the family and for Kim and for everybody involved. It’s really hard to go through this on such a public stage.

It’s hard and I told Kim, I said ‘Look, you’re not the first person to get divorced and you won’t be the last no matter how much time has gone by, you are human and you were strong and brave enough to stand up and say ‘Look, I’ve made a mistake. I’m really sorry.’

All this stuff that comes out and the people that lash out, it’s hurtful. You know, we’re just trying to weather the storm right now and be strong.

She was crying because she’s upset at all the fallout they’re getting, not because she particularly cares about the state of her daughter’s marriage. This is the woman who insisted that her daughter not change her name when she got married because it would hurt their brand. Now their brand is in the sh*tter and mom Kris can’t stand it.

Barbara asked Kris is she ever considered whether their family should never have had a reality show in the first place. Of course she didn’t. She said “We feel so happy and satisfied with our show… We wear it all. We’re an open book… For the fans and the viewers that have followed us from day one, they have this investment in our family.”

The key word is “investment.” A lot of people are going to pull their “investments” from the bank of Kardashian soon.

We don’t gossip much about manic comedian Robin Williams, 60, but he divorced his wife of 19 years, Marsha Garces, in 2008. The National Enquirer reported that Williams’ cheating that drove his wife to file for divorce, and that he was dating a 27 year-old artist from Connecticut and paying her $10,000 a month to rent an apartment in Manhattan at the time. Williams’ wife shouldn’t be surprised that he was stepping out on her. She worked as a nanny to his son from his first wife when he got her pregnant and then married her in 1989. Anyway Williams just got married for the third time, and it wasn’t to the young artist. This time he married a 47 year-old graphic designer who tended to him during his recovery from heart surgery. It sounds kind of sweet actually and they look really good together.

Robin Williams exchanged vows with graphic designer Susan Schneider on Sunday at the Meadowood Resort in Napa Valley, his rep confirms to PEOPLE.

The couple met shortly before the actor and comedian, 60, had heart surgery in 2009, according to Britain’s The Guardian, which also reports that Schneider helped nurse him back to health.

It’s the third trip down the aisle for Williams, who has three children – Zachary, 28, Zelda, 22, and Cody, 19 – from his first two marriages. His previous wife, Marsha, filed for divorce in 2008.
