Mario Lopez marries baby-mama Courtney Mazza, hope it doesn’t get annulled

I’ve always thought that Mario Lopez was probably pretty douchey in real life. His brief marriage to Ali Landry was annulled after she allegedly (or not so much) learned that he was a massive cheater, and his relationship with his baby-mama, Courtney Mazza, seems… odd. Courtney doesn’t have a lot going on, and my take on it is that Mario is doing a “My Fair Lady” on Courtney. Like, he’s remaking her into someone he feels he can take out in public, reportedly making her get lipo and a boob job, and allegedly encouraging her to look and dress a certain way. Courtney and Mario welcomed their daughter Gia two years ago, and at some point they announced their engagement too. They got married over the weekend in Mexico… congrats?

Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Mario Lopez!

Extra and X Factor cohost Mario Lopez married girlfriend of four years Courtney Mazza Dec. 1 in a Mexican beach wedding, Us Weekly has exclusively confirmed.

Taped for a TLC wedding special set to air Dec. 8, the couples nuptials featured one very special guest: Lopez and Mazza’s 2-year-old daughter, Gia, who served as their flower girl. Adding to the cute factor? Gia wore an adorable dress that matched Mom’s gown.

Ahead of their big day, Saved By the Bell alum Lopez, 39, told Us Weekly he was letting his bride call the shots. “She’s the quarterback of the team,” said Lopez, who first met Mazza when they costarred in the revival of Broadway’s A Chorus Line. “It’s her day, so I’m cool with what she wants. But I’m involved with the reception because I want it to be a big party.”

Accepting Lopez’s proposal during a New Year’s weekend trip to Ixtapa, Mexico in January, Mazza is just excited the couple can finally make it official. “The only thing that’s going to change is my last name,” the bride told Us. “Same love, same everything!”

This is the first marriage for Mazza and the second for Lopez, who wed model Ali Landry in 2004 before having the marriage annulled two weeks later.

[From Us Weekly]

I’m including a paparazzi photo of the wedding service below – it looks like a pretty budget affair, but whatever. Whatever makes them happy. I suspect Courtney is just happy she got him down the aisle and I suspect he fools around with whomever he can get. Ugh. Gross. Last thing: post-makeover, Courtney looks A) like a closet Kardashian and B) like Mario’s ex-girlfriend Karina Smirnoff. Right?!

Jessica Simpson plans to marry Eric before giving birth the second time around

These are some new photos of Jessica Simpson, Eric Johnson and baby Maxwell at LAX yesterday. I guess they were… arriving? Probably. These are the first pics we’ve had of Jessica since Us Weekly proclaimed – in their cover story this week – that Jessica is knocked up again. The Enquirer has a big story about it too, for all of you prissy anti-tabloid people who endlessly cry “Why are you using the Enquirer as a source?!” Because the Enquirer is right sometimes, that’s why. The Enquirer says Jessica is nine weeks along, and Us Weekly only says that she’s still in her first trimester. Considering there hasn’t been a hardcore denial from Jessica or her people, I think it’s accurate. Plus, she’s making sure her midsection is pretty covered up in these photos – and we remember her first pregnancy, don’t we? She started showing, like, ten minutes after conception.

As we discussed yesterday, Jessica’s pregnancy will definitely mess up her Weight Watchers contract, which never fails to amuse me (how many times did I say that WW was going to rue the day they signed Jessica?). But this pregnancy might have also messed up Jessica’s nuptial timeline. Many thought that Jessica and Eric were waiting to marry until she lost the baby weight, so what now? Well, Radar says it might happen sooner than we think:

A surprise second pregnancy isn’t enough to deter Jessica Simpson’s wedding plans. RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that the singer-turned-actress-turned fashion-designer still wants to get married before she has her second child.

Simpson, 32, had planned to walk down the aisle with former NFL beau Eric Johnson before Christmas – but is now delaying her big day because her best friend Cacee Cobb is getting married in December instead!

“Jessica wanted to get married before Christmas and was thinking of a date in December,” a source close to the Simpson family told RadarOnline.com. “But then Cacee set a date with Donald (Faison) for December, her father was caught up in the gay scandal and then she found out she was pregnant. Her plans were derailed and the wedding became a secondary detail with everything that was going on in her life.”

“However, she still wants to get married soon and is seriously considering marrying Eric before her baby is due. Jessica isn’t concerned about her baby bump showing in the wedding pictures and feels she has put off her nuptials for far too long. Date-wise, she’s thinking before next summer, possibly February or March,” the insider divulged.

As RadarOnline previously reported Jessica is expecting baby number 2, just seven months after she gave birth to her daughter Maxwell. The National Enquirer revealed that Jessica and Eric recently discovered The Dukes of Hazzard star is pregnant again.

Jess gave birth to Maxwell on May 1 and has been over the moon in love with her baby, but the Enquirer says she’s nervous about becoming a mother again.

“Jessica is only nine weeks into this pregnancy,” a source close to the Simpson family told the Enquirer. “She’s trying to keep it a secret until she makes it safely through her first trimester.”

[From Radar]

I don’t really get why it wasn’t a big deal to get married before Maxwell was born, but suddenly it’s a big deal to get married before this one comes out. But sure, sooner rather than later, why not? I would love to see Jessica and Eric get married. Mostly because I just want to know what she’ll serve. Ten kinds of cake! Nachos! Brownies! Pop Tarts!

By the way, how cute is Maxi? She’s enchanted by the cameras. She’s a very photogenic baby too.

Evan Rachel Wood & Jamie Bell are married, their wedding was on Tuesday

Oooooh!!! YAY. Evan Rachel Wood and Jamie Bell are now married, y’all! I’m so happy for them. Radar and some other sites have been buzzing that the wedding would go down any day now – apparently, Evan and Jamie got their marriage license last week or this week. Evan’s rep confirmed the wedding to everyone: “Evan Rachel Wood and Jamie Bell were married on October 30 in California. The bride wore a custom dress by Carolina Herrera. It was a small ceremony with close family and friends.” Oooh, custom Carolina Herrera! I bet that was really pretty, no joke. I like Herrera’s designs a great deal – she’s mostly traditional, erring on the side of conservative, but she really understands a woman’s body and she aims to flatter. And Evan has a great body, so I’m guessing she looked beautiful.

Apparently, the wedding went down on Tuesday. Nice pre-Halloween celebration. I always wonder about Evan’s family – like, what did they think of her relationship with Marilyn Manson? Does anyone even remember that Evan and Marilyn were actually ENGAGED at one point too? Ugh. I’m so glad Evan kicked him to the curb and started up with Jamie. Jamie is HOT. Jamie looks like he would be amazing in bed. Jamie also seems like a sweet dude, with some edge. He really fell for Evan when they met in 2005 (they starred in Green Day’s music video for “Wake Me Up When September Ends”). He kept after her until he got her, Marilyn or no Marilyn. She’s 25 years old – Jamie is 26. So… they’re young but not “too young” as in “their ages will pretty much make this a starter marriage”. I’d like to believe that they both have wild sides and both have calmer, less crazy sides and somehow it will all work out. She’s a Virgo (like me!). He’s a Pisces. That’s a good combination!

Yesterday, Evan tweeted this: “Words cannot describe the happiness I am feeling. Overwhelming.” Aw. Congrats!

Levi Johnston married his second baby mama, Sunny Oglesby

Above we have a photo of 22 year-old Levi Johnston’s weekend nuptials to his second baby mama, Sunny Oglesby, 20. These photos are courtesy of Inside Edition, which also carried the momentous news that Levi and Sunny were expecting a baby, after, in Levi’s words “we went to the cabin and forgot the birth control pills and, you know, about a month later we found out we were having a baby.” He’s far from the sharpest tool, with tool being the operative word. US Weekly has some details of Levi and Sunny’s wedding, which included 100 guests and was held in their hometown of Wasilla, Alaska. Levi and Sunny’s six week old daughter, Breeze Beretta (named after the gun company) was there, but unfortunately his son Tripp, 4, with Bristol Palin, wasn’t. The Palins didn’t come through with visitation for Levi that weekend so Tripp had to miss his dad’s wedding. Here’s more:

As much as Levi Johnston wanted his four-year-old son, Tripp, with ex Bristol Palin, to be present at his Oct. 28 nuptials to Sunny Ogelsby, the little man could not make it.
Inside Edition reports that Johnston, 22, did not tell his ex he was tying the knot over the weekend, instead simply asked for custody of his son. “I wanted him to be my ring bearer,” Johnston said. Palin denied his request.

Though Tripp was not at the Wasilla, Alaska ceremony Sunday, Breeze Beretta, Johnston’s one-month-old daughter with his bride, took part in her parents’ special day. Officiated by Johnston’s friend Crosby Marrow, the couple’s nuptials took a lighthearted turn when the groom fumbled his vows and elicited chuckles from guests in attendance.

“To have and to hold, whatever you say,” Inside Edition reports Johnston as saying. Clad in a Hugo Boss red label tuxedo accessorized with a camouflage vest and bow tie, Johnston is said to have sweated profusely during the event.

It is the first marriage for both Johnston and his girlfriend of just over one year, 20, who teaches in Wasilla, Alaska. The couple welcomed daughter Breeze Beretta — named for the Italian firearm manufacturer — on Sept. 12, 2012, two years after he called off his engagement to Palin.

[From US Weekly]

I love how US Weekly includes the facts that Levi was sweating and wasn’t able to repeat his vows properly. Inside Edition also has the detail that Levi wanted to wear a camouflage suit (they do make them and you can even rent them!) but that Sunny put her foot down so he just ended up with a camo bow tie. Levi said of his camo suit that his “Wife wouldn’t let me do it. I had to dress a little bit nice.

Did any of you see Game Change on HBO? (I haven’t read it, but I did see the movie.) It was excellent, and Levi Johnston featured exactly once in that movie, in a scene at the RNC convention when Sarah Palin told him that he looked better without his mullet. He was a very minor player in a political miscalculation from the 2008 election. He tried to spin that into some sort of media career for himself, but he didn’t have the personality or the looks (to be blunt, but the dude was in Playgirl) to pull it off. So now he’s selling his personal life to the highest bidder. He’s probably hoping to land a reality show that will never happen.

I’ll say something nice, though, these two look really good for each other, in the way that couples start to look alike. That doesn’t mean I think they’ll last.

Justin Timberlake’s friends are a–holes who make “joke” videos with the homeless

Two days ago, LaineyGossip posted an awful blind item. As in, the subject matter was awful, not the blind itself. The blind was all about the “wedding gift” some friends made for a recently married couple. The “gift” was a “funny” video in which homeless people talked on camera about how they were super-sad to miss the celebrity couple’s big, fancy wedding. Because the “joke” is that homeless people are SO funny, what with their homelessness and not knowing where their next meal will come from, and the joke is that of course the celebrity couple would invite some homeless people to their wedding. If you couldn’t tell, I have no idea what the “joke” was supposed to be. Anyway, Lainey only said that it was NOT Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, and I think most people, even the blind-item-challenged, were like “Huh, I bet it’s Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel”. Yeah.

Gawker reported yesterday that Justin’s friend Justin Huchel, a real estate agent (“joke?”), was the one to make the video or organize the video somehow:

After the guests at Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel’s wedding were whisked to southern Italy via private jet last week, they were greeted by a video produced by Timberlake’s longtime pal, L.A. real estate agent Justin Huchel. The video had a gag: Huchel hit the streets of Los Angeles and asked a bunch of homeless people, street musicians, and transexuals to wish the multimillionaire newlyweds well. Funny, funny stuff.

The 8:30 video featured street interviews with ten people, many of them obviously homeless, premised on the idea that they were friends of Timberlake and Biel’s who, for whatever reason, couldn’t quite swing the trip to the Borgo Egnazia resort in Puglia for the nuptials, which were reported to cost $6.5 million. “Greetings from Your Hollywood Friends Who Just Couldn’t Make It,” reads the opening title card, “Featuring Sid, Chuck, Robert, and More!” Sid, Chuck, Robert, and others appear to be penniless and living on the street. Some of them are obviously intoxicated, mentally ill, or both, and at least one of them is entirely incapable of speaking.

“Justin and Jessica, I haven’t seen you for a long time,” one toothless man tells the camera. “I hope the wedding goes fine for you. My gift is in the mail.”

A male off-camera voice, apparently Huchel’s, asks the man when he last saw Timberlake and Biel, adding, “Did you and Jessica mess around?”

At one point, after commentary from an apparently transexual man, Timberlake’s “SexyBack” is played in the background.

Another glassy-eyed apparently homeless man woozily tells the camera, in a lengthy and rambling monologue, “Jeez I miss you so much. I wish I could be there.” (“There” being the $1,000-plus a night Italian resort hanging out with guests like Jimmy Fallon and Andy Samberg. “Here” being behind what looks like a McDonald’s.) Others mumble unintelligibly in response to questions about when they last hung out with Timberlake and Biel. When one shirtless man says he saw them at the L.A. Coliseum, the male voice asks, “were you performing with them?”

[From Gawker]

Gawker contacted Huchel, and his attorney sent Gawker a letter threatening to sue, which you can read in its entirety over at Gawker. The lawyer says, “Mr. Huchel made [the] video to be used and exhibited privately at Justin Timberlake’s wedding as a private joke without Mr. Timberlake’s knowledge.” I could parse that statement all day long. What is the “private joke”? Does Justin just spend his days, joking about homeless people? WTF? To me, this is the celebrity-gossip equivalent of Mitt Romney’s 47% video. What happens in private never stays private.

Prince Guillaume of Luxembourg marries Elie Saab-clad Countess Stephanie

I know most people will be like “WHO?” but please, for the love of God, do not comment with that thought. These are photos from the weekend wedding of Prince Guillaume of Luxembourg and his bride, a Belgian countess named Stephanie de Lannoy. Guillaume is the crown prince, the heir to the Luxembourg throne, and he will inherit the throne from his father, Henri, the Grand Duke of Luxembourg, which is the title given to Luxembourg’s monarch (I had to look all of that up). Stephanie de Lannoy was (is?) a Belgian national who will have to give up her citizenship to Belgium to become the consort to the Crown Prince, etc.

Basically, I’m only writing about this because I was looking at the wedding photos all weekend, and I wanted to talk about it. I really have no idea if Guillaume and his father are popular figures in Luxembourg, or if Stephanie is a kind of lazy, Waity kind of girl, but I think they seem like nice people if I’m just judging them from their wedding photos. According to Stephanie’s Wiki, she and Guilllaume dated for two years before he proposed this April. She has the European equivalent of a bachelor’s and a master’s degree, and she speaks French, English, German and Russian. She’s 28 years old – Guillaume is 30. Also: they’re distant cousins, so this really is an old-school type of royal wedding, where both sides of the family are all related somehow.

Stephanie wore an Elie Saab wedding gown, which I think is an interesting choice for a royal bride. I do like her gown a lot, although I like it less now that I’m seeing all of the Elie Saab design elements. Like, I could see Taylor Swift in a version of this. The bride also went backless… a bold choice, right? The back of the skirt has some kind double-tiered bustle, and her train was 13-feet long. And you know I always love when a wedding gown has sleeves – I just think sleeves are a lovely look on wedding gowns, but I err on the side of conservatism anyway. I think Stephanie is a pretty woman – but I like that she doesn’t look like a supermodel, you know? She looks refreshingly normal, and I mean that in a nice way. My favorite part of the bride’s ensemble? The tiara! That tiara is GORGEOUS.

According to The Mail, the service was conducted in French and English, and they had a moment of silence for Stephanie’s mother, who passed away in August. Sad. A lot of European royalty came out for the wedding, including Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden and Princess Caroline of Monaco. You can read more about the wedding here. I’m also including a photo of Stephanie and Guillaume at the fireworks show after their wedding – so cute. They’re really adorable together.

Justin Timberlake & Jessica Biel were married in southern Italy today

Justin Timberlake & Jessica Biel got married in Italy today. Just now! Are you excited? Judging from the post I wrote about them earlier this week, not so much. People Mag confirms that they got the exclusive deal on their wedding photos, so those will probably have the big “reveal” next Wednesday. I wonder how much the exclusive went for? I’m making the bold assessment that JT and Biel’s Italian wedding photos plus an interview with BOTH of them probably would go for around $300,000-400K. What do you think?

It’s official! After five years of dating, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel are husband and wife.

“It’s great to be married, the ceremony was beautiful and it was so special to be surrounded by our family and friends,” the couple told PEOPLE in an exclusive statement Friday.

Timberlake, 31, and Biel, 30, kept mum about the nuptials – they were even vague to guests, keeping the location in southern Italy a complete secret until the last minute – but PEOPLE will have all the details of the wedding, including exclusive photos, in next week’s issue out Wednesday.

Engaged since December, when Timberlake proposed in Big Sky Montana with a custom-designed ring, the couple have been inseparable.

Most recently, Timberlake showed support for his leading lady earlier this month when she was honored at Variety’s Power of Women event for her work with Charity: Water.

The actor-musician said recently of his bride, “She’s a really, really, really special person.”

The happy couple started celebrating earlier this week along with close friends and family.

On Thursday, they hosted a party where guests hung out around open fires and dined on fresh-made cheese, local olives and wine. The night before, the group headed to a beach for a party complete with fireworks and live music.

[From People Magazine]

I’m looking forward to hearing about one thing and one thing only: the food. I want to know what else they had to eat besides “local olives”. I want to know about the CAKE. And I only want to see one thing: the dress. I suspect that Biel went with Giambattista Valli, a solid designer, but I’m just having a sixth-sense feeling that Biel’s whole look is going to be an utter mess. With bangs.

Anyway, congrats to the happy couple. I think they’re awful together, but I’ve been proven wrong before. Maybe she’ll get pregnant right away. Ugh.

Anne Hathaway to donate her wedding photo sales to gay-marriage advocacy

The day after Anne Hathaway and Adam Shulman married in Big Sur, I wrote it up. I was pleased at the time that some of our photo agencies had gotten some grainy photos of Anne in her dress (and her enormous headpiece/veil/head injury bandages) – I’m including a couple more shots in this post. It’s always nice when we have some kind of wedding-y photos to go with the wedding story, and I was pleased that Anne’s wedding security was so lax as to allow the paparazzi to get somewhat decent shots. But here’s the question: are these the only wedding photos we’re going to get from Anne’s wedding? And did Annie actually arrange for the paparazzi to get those shots? Because Anne is now claiming that she “sold” her wedding photos and that she donated money from the sales to Freedom to Marry, a pro-gay-marriage organization:

When Anne Hathaway married Adam Shulman last September, every entertainment magazine in the country wanted the pictures. Now, according to Adam Polaski at Freedom to Marry, “Hathaway is doing her part to ensure that same-sex couples across the country can enjoy a fairytale wedding like hers; this week, she announced that she’ll be donating some of the sales from her wedding photographs to non-profits advocating for marriage for same-sex couples, including Freedom to Marry.”

While she may be splitting the proceeds between Freedom to Marry and other charities (includng the American Cancer Society, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and the Girl Effect), Polaski says the donation to Freedom to Marry is just the “latest way that Hathaway has taken a stand for the freedom to marry. In 2008, she talked publicly for the first time about her brother, who is gay, and explained that their relationship has compelled her to advocate as an ally to the LGBT community.”

When the actress (who will be seen next in Les Misérables) was given an Human Rights Campaign Ally Award in 2008, says Polaski, she spoke passionately about the rights of LGBT people. She said, “I don’t consider myself just an ally to the LGBT community, I consider myself your family. And so, I’m doing what we should all do with our families — I’m loving you, I support you, I completely accept you as you are, as I hope you do me, and if anyone ever tries to hurt you, I’m going to give them hell.”

[From The Advocate]

Once again, I need to ask: are we going to see better quality wedding photos at some point? Will she sell them to People Mag or Us Weekly exclusively? I don’t know. I would love to see some high-quality images of that headpiece and of her gown, which was reportedly partly pink. So, I hope she does sell them to a magazine. As for Annie and how she’s pro-marriage rights… good for her. I always forget that her brother is gay, but she has talked about him from time to time in the past.

Will Jessica Biel be Justin Timberlake’s bangsy bride in Italy this week?

Apparently, it’s finally happening. “This week” they say. “In the next few days” they say. Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel will make one of the biggest mistakes of their lives this week. They will marry in Italy. The wedding rumors have been growing stronger ever since Justin celebrated his bachelor party with a week-long “boys only” extravaganza in Mexico and Las Vegas several weeks ago, and according to Life & Style, everything is going down this week. Prepare yourselves.

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel are heading down the aisle in the next few days!

Life & Style can exclusively reveal that the duo will tie the knot in Italy this week.

“The wedding was top-secret, hush-hush,” a close friend of the couple tells Life & Style. “Save-the-dates went out in the spring and little information was given. Guests were warned that any phones or cameras would be confiscated, so best to leave them at the hotel.”

In fact, the wedding’s so confidential, even loved ones had to sign confidentiality agreements and weren’t even informed of the venue!

“They were told just to fly to Italy,” shares an insider. Jessica, 30, and Justin, 31, will tie the knot after more than five years of dating.

In December, the Trouble With the Curve star proposed to his longtime love during their annual vacation in the mountains of Jackson Hole, Wyo.

This will be the first marriage for both.

[From Life & Style]

Well, what is there to say? I hope Jessica and Justin get the wedding of their dreams. I suspect Justin did most of the wedding planning, just because he seems anal retentive about that kind of thing, and I think he distrusts Jessica’s taste level and style instincts. My guess is that Justin also had significant input into her dress too – tradition be damned! He was probably there for the fittings. I bet Justin is pissed that his wedding photos will be ruined by Jessica’s unfortunate bangs. I really do think they irritate him. So, basically, my wedding hope for them is that they have a nice time, that neither of them gets too stressed out, and that everything goes off without a hitch. And then a few years from now Justin will be caught with his pants down around some backup dancer or club girl, and then we’ll have to hand them both a giant “Told Ya So.” This union is going to be such a disaster. I really do feel for Jessica. Girl, you got the ring, but at what price?

PS… You know who else might be getting married this week? Evan Rachel Wood & Jamie Bell. Now, that’s a wedding I’d like to see.

Amber Tamblyn’s wedding photos: the bride wore yellow, went shoeless

This is for all of the people who wanted to talk about Amber Tamblyn and David Cross’s wedding yesterday. All of these photos come from Questlove’s Instagram – he was at the wedding, and he captured some beautiful photos of the “wedding in the woods”. I’ve included some of the most interesting photos in this post, but you can see even more here, at Questlove’s page. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds were there! Blake looked like she stepped out of a Ralph Lauren ad. And the bride wore YELLOW! And Amber was barefoot. It actually looked like a really pretty ceremony.

Amber Tamblyn is anything but traditional. When the House, M.D. alum, 29, married Arrested Development actor David Cross, 48, on October 6, the barefoot bride — who arrived via kayak! — wore a canary yellow dress. With flowers in her hair, Tamblyn vowed to spend eternity with Cross as guests including Amy Poehler, 41, Jason Ritter, 32, and Questlove, 41, looked on. (Us Weekly exclusively confirmed their betrothal October 7.)

Other A-list attendees included Tamblyn’s Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants costars Blake Lively, 25, America Ferrera, 28, and Alexis Bledel, 30. Lively — who secretly married Ryan Reynolds, 35, in South Carolina September 9 — brought her husband as her date.

Questlove shared a series of pictures from Tamblyn and Cross’ wedding ceremony and reception via Instagram. In addition to snapshots of the bride and groom, The Roots musician also uploaded a picture of their unique dessert, a cheesecake featuring two fox cake toppers.

Yo La Tengo performed during the reception, while Questlove served as the deejay. This is the first marriage for both Tamblyn and Cross, who confirmed their engagement in August 2011.

Tamblyn next appears in the Quentin Tarantino film Django Unchained, in theaters December 25. The movie also stars Jamie Foxx, 44, Leonardo DiCaprio, 37, Kerry Washington, 35, and Samuel L. Jackson, 63. Cross is currently shooting new episodes of Arrested Development, which is being revived via Netflix.

[From Us Weekly]

A cheesecake wedding cake? That’s fine. I’m not a cheesecake person, but I’m simply happy when a couple decides to go with tradition enough to actually have a cake (side-eye at Natalie Portman). And I don’t mind that Amber wore yellow – her dress was pretty, and she looked really happy. Fingers crossed that everything works out for them in the long run!
