OK! Magazine: Jennifer Aniston – 7 lbs in 7 days

aniston_ok
OK! Magazine is running one of their misleading cover stories with a photo of Jennifer Aniston’s gorgeous gams and the title “Jen’s Best Body at 41! How she lost 7 lbs in 7 days.” They promise to have details of her diet and exercise plan, but it’s probably cobbled together from things she’s said in past interviews. My favorite diet quote of Aniston’s is the recent “just stop eating sh*t every day,” which basically sums it up best.

For Jen Aniston, 41, life is fabulous! While recently shooting Just Go With It with Adam Sandler, Jen looked hotter than ever. “She looked as if she’s lost a dress size,” a witness tells OK!. “She was really petite and avoided the food on the craft services table. She has discipline.”

Thanks to self-control and a newfound philosophy on eating and exercise, Jen’s achieved her best body ever.

“She recently lost 7 pounds in seven days and she is totally ecstatic,” a source tells OK!.

[From OK!]

I’ve lost 7 pounds in a week before. I wasn’t aiming to lose that much weight so fast, but of course I thought it was awesome. I was dieting, but I ate at least 1200-1500 calories a day and was just exercising hard. I’ve been doing spinning about three times a week along with cardio kickboxing classes on the other days and the weight flies off if I don’t eat enough. The thing is, the couple times that happened I couldn’t help eating a lot the next week so I gained at least 2-3 pounds back. I also have blood sugar problems and will feel dizzy doing cardio if I’m not careful. For me, the only lasting weight loss that’s comfortable is from 1-3 pounds a week. Anything more than that and I end up pigging out and yo-yoing so that it evens out to 1-3 pounds a week anyway.

Experts recommend that you aim to lose just 1-2 pounds a week for sustainable weight loss. In terms of how much exercise we should be doing, here’s a good article from Weight Watchers on the different recommendations for daily and weekly exercise. I’ve had a lot of success with Weight Watchers and have lost 25 pounds so far. That was over a three month period, though. Seven pounds in a week is just not healthy or comfortable. If it was that fast and easy to lose weight we’d all be as svelte as Jennifer Aniston.

Weight Watchers hasn’t contacted or encouraged us to promote their service. Honestly I tried to sign up for their affiliate program but we were denied, so we definitely don’t have an incentive to promote them.

Did Kristin Davis lose weight, or was she Photoshopped to hell?

fitness

I love Kristin Davis. I’ve loved her since Melrose Place, and I ended up loving the Charlotte character on Sex and the City – the television show, not the film. One of the reasons I’ve always adored Kristin is that she always had a “realistic” body type and she seemed to own it. She’s “pear-shaped” I suppose – with bigger hips, thighs and booty on an otherwise small, slender frame. Though SATC was so heavy on the fashion porn, I always appreciated that they tried to keep Charlotte grounded in fashion reality, to a point. She always had the best clothes, I thought, great shifts and pencil skirts and pieces that emphasized her curves. So it with consternation that I’m looking at Kristin’s cover of Fitness Magazine. Is this her body? I don’t remember her body looking like this. Her top half, sure, I’ll buy it. But Kristin is a girl with some hips and thighs. Did she lose a lot of weight? Judging from her interview, it doesn’t sound like it. Kristin talks about how much she enjoys food, so the Photoshopped cover makes for an interesting dichotomy:

Here’s the skinny: Kristin Davis has embraced her curves.

“I’m never going to be the thinnest actress, and I don’t want to be,” the Sex and the City star, 45 (the sequel hits theaters May 27), tells the May issue of Fitness. “I have hips!”

Davis admits it was “very intimidating” to slip into a bikini for the mag’s cover.

“There are people who feel comfortable in bathing suits, and I don’t know how they do it,” she says. “I worked with Kristen Bell and Malin Akerman on the movie Couples Retreat, and they didn’t care about standing around in their bikinis for days. The guys in the movie were more self-conscious than they were!”

Davis — who has been running since her days on Melrose Place, and even taught yoga when she first moved to L.A. — tries to keep a healthy diet.

“I eat a lot of chicken, salmon, eggs and side salads. But if all I ate were salads every day, I’d shoot myself,” she says. “Who cares if you can fit in your skinny jeans if you can’t enjoy life and have something good to eat? I went through periods when I said I can’t have this, I can’t have that. Now I don’t deprive myself. Food is meant to be enjoyed.”

The actress — who will host the More/Fitness Women’s Half Marathon in New York City’s Central Park on April 25 — does indulge in M&Ms and ice cream in the summer.

“One trick I’ve learned is that if I have an ice cream bar, I’m OK having four bites and then throwing it away,” she says. “I don’t need to eat the whole thing to feel satisfied.”

When asked about the worst rumor she’s read about herself, Davis says, “That the cast of Sex and the City hates one another. We’re standing so close during filming that we touch for 18 hours a day, and then people want to say we don’t get along. It’s the funniest thing in the world.”

She even hits the gym occasionally with Sarah Jessica Parker, 45.

“Sarah Jessica doesn’t need a support buddy. She’s one of the most motivated people I’ve ever met, and she has an amazing body even when she doesn’t work out; though, like the rest of us, she doesn’t feel that way,” Davis says.

[From Us Weekly]

Ugh, is that what happened? Kristin started looking at Sarah Jessica Parker and thought, “I want to look like that”? Please, no. SJP used to have a really amazing figure too – and I bought that it was just her genes and her active lifestyle. But in recent appearances, something has taken a turn for the worse. Anyway, I tend to think that Kristin still has the same basic figure she had during the show, and this cover was probably Photoshopped like crazy.

L&S: Kourtney Kardashian’s bikini body – haven’t we already seen this?

kourtneyrevisedlifestyle
Kourtney Kardashian’s bikini body is featured as an inset on the Kim Kardashian cover focusing on what a creep her new hookup, Cristiano Ronaldo, is. I asked Kaiser if she wanted to cover this one as she enjoys making fun of the Kardashians, but she passed and kind of wondered whether we would be promoting that QuickTrim crap the Kardashians are constantly shilling. (Here’s a report on the dangers of QuickTrim to balance out that potential free advertisement. It’s basically laxatives, diuretics and caffeine.) Kourtney can’t take QuickTrim anyway because she’s breastfeeding. She tells Life & Style how she did it, and it wasn’t entirely Photoshop – like that OK! cover that upset her because she didn’t get paid.

What’s more is that I got all confused thinking that this was some kind of new story, but a Life & Style cover featuring Kourtney in a bikini came out at the end of March with the title “How I Lost 33 Pounds.” Only I guess that was a tease and Kourtney didn’t actually reveal her diet and exercise plan, which she’s doing now. It’s been a whole three weeks so Life & Style assumes that we forgot about it and won’t call them for running the same story again.

Last week we were subjected to Kim bragging about how she’d lost a whole five pounds in five days. It’s like Life & Style has a deal with the Kardashians, E!, and/or QuickTrim to run these covers. Either that or they’re just lazy and don’t feel like making up another Brangelina story. I guess next week we can expect to see Khloe in a bikini on the cover, a bottle of Quick Trim sitting subtly beside her.

To get her body back into bikini shape after giving birth to son, Mason, Kourtney Kardashian developed a system that works for her body and busy life! In an exclusive interview with Life & Style, the new mom shares her ten simple secrets for getting beach-ready:
START SMALL:

“I used to always get a chai latte from Starbucks, but I just switched to one espresso shot,” Kourtney tells Life & Style. Simply swapping 16 ounces of latte for an espresso saves 235 calories! “I’m allowing myself one serving of caffeine while breastfeeding [baby Mason], and the latte was really all sugar and milk,” says Kourt, who also cuts out other unnecessary calories, like those from juice and dehydrated fruits. “I was eating a lot of dried fruit, and I didn’t realize how much sugar that added. And now I’ll eat raw almonds instead of salted ones.”

KNOW WHAT WORKS BEST FOR YOUR BODY:

Kourtney likes the few extra pounds she gained in her bottom while pregnant — so she’s found exercises that will help her keep her booty, but tone and lift it. “I want to try to do squats — stuff that will keep the booty up there,” she says about the classic power move that helps lift, tone and define the legs, quads, hamstrings and glutes.

FIND A SPORT YOU LOVE — AND RUN WITH IT:

“I’m big on running — just putting on my iPod Shuffle and going for a run by my house,” says Kourtney, who also uses the treadmill or elliptical at her mom’s house. Nutritionist Oz Garcia says choosing an enjoyable activity is half the battle. “You’ll be having fun and losing weight at the same time.”

KEEP YOUR MENU FRESH:

“Frozen yogurt tastes so chemically to me because I’ve been eating salads and salmon and chicken,” Kourtney tells Life & Style. “Fresh food is so much better.” Garcia agrees: “By simply cutting out processed foods, products with high sugar and the bread basket, you’ll shed pounds more efficiently.”

[From Life & Style via Huffington Post]

I don’t think people don’t know how to lose weight. I just think following through is hard and that we’re always looking for some new kind of system that works and helps us stick with the plan. Out of all the Kardashians Khloe bothers me the least, but that’s not saying much. She’s just as on board for promoting the family brand with her personal life as the rest of them.

Tori Spelling is “showing signs of an eating disorder”

infphoto_1238007

The tabloids have been attacking Tori Spelling for months now, claiming that she’s too thin and that she’s “scary skinny”. After giving birth to daughter Stella, her weight really hasn’t fluctuated that much – she’s been really, really thin, but consistently thin. Only the coverage of her thinness ebbs and flows, most of it proceeding a new season of Tori & Dean, shocking. Last October, Tori got into a war with Star Mag, after the tabloid claimed she was down to 95 pounds. Tori revealed her weight at the time – 107 pounds. After that, she maybe put on a few more pounds, which she then dramatically lost again in time for this new season of Tori & Dean, leading to a new round of reports – once again, from Starthat Tori was scary skinny.

This week Life & Style picks up the “Tori is scary skinny” mantle, claiming that she’s now down to 93 pounds, and that she “shows signs of an eating disorder.” Here’s more, courtesy of Jezebel:

Life & Style – Tori spelling is 93 lbs. She doesn’t eat, and doesn’t even drink water. The mag uses an arrow to point to the “fur” on her upper arms, notes that her eyes are sunken, and claims “She’s showing signs of an eating disorder.”

The story also points out: “Tori often overcompensates for extreme thinness by talking up her indulgences. Tori’s Twitter page is filled with accounts of hearty meals and snacks.”

Tori allegedly has a 24-inch waist, which the mag illustrates by printing the “actual size” of her jeans’ waistband. We took a tape measure to these jeans and they’re printed 10 inches wide so we don’t know what the hell is going on.

[From Life & Style via Jezebel]

Eh. I’ve given Tori so many passes on her skinniness, but today I’m feeling a little less generous. Yes, it could be that she’s just a “naturally thin” girl who is running after two kids and maybe she forgets to eat. But perhaps she really isn’t all that healthy, and making excuses isn’t helping. In any case, I was looking through recent photos of her, and while she does look very thin, she doesn’t really look “eating disorder thin” to me, but maybe my radar is off. Tori’s arms look healthier to me than Sarah Jessica Parker’s. Maybe Dean just needs to encourage her to eat. Like, they could do family dinners or something.

Speaking of Dean, here’s another little tidbit from this week’s tabloids – Star Mag reports that “Candy Spelling offered Tori Spelling $10 million to divorce Dean McDemott, whom Candy feels is a ‘leech.’” Only $10 million? Come on, Candy!

Here’s Tori from behind:

Kim Kardashian on the cover of L&S: her ‘revenge body’, 5lbs in 5 days

lifestyle
Kim Kardashian is on the cover of Life and Style this week with what has to be one of the lamest excuses for a tabloid cover I’ve seen in months. They’re showing Kim in a bikini with the captions “How I Lost 5 lbs in 5 Days,” “Kim’s Revenge Body.” In case you might suspect L&S of running a misleading cover based solely on photos of Kim in a bikini (like OK! did with Khloe’s “Body after Baby” issue) they indeed have an interview with Kim bragging about how she lost 5 pounds in 5 days. Are you kidding me? Now, I could see talking about a 20 pound weight loss over a month (like Khloe did on In Touch) but who cares about 5 pounds in 5 days? Do they think we’re that desperate to lose weight that we’ll shell out the money for this issue to learn Kim’s “diet secrets”? Also, why do they have to paint it like women are getting “revenge” when they lose weight after a breakup? Couldn’t they just be focusing on themselves and feeling better? Kim is all over that, talking about how she lost a whole five pounds for her bikini photo op:

Looking good is the best revenge — especially after a breakup! “I’ve lost five pounds in five days,” Kim Kardashian, who recently split from New Orleans Saints star Reggie Bush, told Life & Style at a Bravada activewear launch party in LA on April 7. “I really wanted to just buckle down and get rid of the tiny bit of excess weight I was carrying.” She also managed to make a statement, sending a message that in the wake of her break-up — and amidst rumors that Reggie had cheated on her — she has more confidence that ever. “It gave me a lot of confidence with my body,” Kim confides to Life & Style. “I work out to feel good about myself — and sure, it doesn’t hurt if someone notices.”

While Reggie spent April 9 and 10 in Las Vegas getting close to country star Jessie James, Kim hit the beach and showed him precisely what he was missing! “I used to be so shy and insecure walking around in a bikini doing shoots and things,” Kim’s told Life & Style. “It’s amazing how much better I feel and I was really proud of myself for just sticking to my diet.” To lose the pounds, Kim cut out all carbs and focused on eating lean proteins, leafy greens, fruit and stuck to her QuickTrim routine. The reality star was also able to add some variety to her workout regimen without too much effort. “I made sure that in addition to my gym workout, I did freestyle cardio outdoors,” explains Kim. “I went running or made sure I did as much walking as I could. I really kept active.””

[From Life & Style, received via e-mail]

Ooh she did “freestyle cardio outdoors.” And I’m not buying that Kim was “so shy and insecure” in a bikini before her whopping 5 pound weight loss. We’ve seen her in bikinis for years now and she’s looked anything but shy. She’s promoting herself and that QuickTrim crap with this cover. I hope Life & Style didn’t pay her for this interview. Does she have enough fans who are interested in how she lost a whole five pounds? Also, is this her way of showing Reggie that she’s getting over him – by posing in a bikini on the cover of a magazine? She’s also been tweeting pictures of her boobs and ass regularly as if to say “this is what you’re missing.” It’s kind of sad and desperate, really.

Here’s Kim in Miami on 4/1/10. She must not have liked how she looked in these photos so she lost 5 pounds and posed again. I don’t see the difference. Credit: BRJ/Fame Pictures.

Ricky Gervais lashes out at the homogenizing Hollywood system
Ricky Gervais Does Letterman

Ricky Gervais is sensitive about his weight. You can tell he’s sensitive, because he’s used public and media criticism of his weight in his stand-up acts and in his scripts. He’s trying to get to the criticism before the critics, but you can tell that it bothers him. Call me crazy, but I’ve always loved that Ricky is a little fluffy, and I think he wears his weight well. So he’s got a belly… more to love! Anyway, Ricky has lost some weight recently – he still looks a little fluffy, and he’s still cute, but his image does seem a bit sleeker and tighter. The British tabloids noticed that Ricky had lost the weight, and they began reporting (in a snotty way) that Ricky had “gone Hollywood” and lost weight because he wanted to be a bigger star. So, when The Telegraph finally got Ricky for an interview, and got to ask him questions about his weight loss, Ricky sort of went off about how much he hates all of the Americans who want him to get skinny, fix his teeth and be our next big British import.

Ricky Gervais has launched a withering attack on Hollywood over suggestions he dramatically slimmed down to kick start his film career. Gervais, 48, said he would never ‘starve himself’ just to land a part and insisted his loss of three stones in weight is due to a new fitness regime following the installation of a gym at his home in Hampstead in north London.

In an interview to promote his new film Cemetery Junction, Gervais said: “The Hollywood pressure is that you do have to be of a certain standard or a certain type. I see everyone doing it, even good character actors. I think, ‘Why are you starving yourself?’ The pressure is there to have white, straight teeth…”

Warming to the theme, Gervais, who has recently bought an apartment in Manhattan with his long-time partner Jane Fallon, went on to rant against the Hollywood system, sprinkling his language with swear words.

In an interview with The Times newspaper, Gervais said: “What is in America? I don’t give a **** what they think and if I don’t get a film role because my teeth are crooked, then **** them, I don’t want it. I just go, ‘It’s ridiculous.’”

“I hate them, and I hate that people think that I would. It makes me angry. I remember when a newspaper said, ‘He’s lost three stone for Hollywood.’ I went, ‘No, I haven’t lost three stone and I would never ******* do it for Hollywood. I did it ‘cos I work out and I wanna be fit.’ And that annoys me.”

Gervais shot to fame with the television comedy series The Office which was then followed by the highly acclaimed Extras. He has since switched to movies.

Cemetery Junction, which opnes on April 14 and is co-directed and co-written by gervais and Stephen Merchant, stars Gervais alongside Emily Watson and Ralph Fiennes.

It is set in the 1970s in reading in Berkshire where Gervais grew up.

[From The Telegraph]

Note: Ricky isn’t saying he hates Americans in general or America in total. He seems to be limiting his obscenities to “the Hollywood system”. And of course he has a point – the Hollywood system that promotes homogenous “beauty” gives way to monstrosities like Heidi Montag. I’d much prefer to look at Ricky’s crooked teeth and Buddha belly than people like Heidi or Kellan Lutz or any of the people we’re told we should find “sexy”. Now, all that being said, it seems to me like Ricky is a little sensitive about why he lost weight, which makes me think that part of the reason might have been for health reasons, but part of it might just be simple vanity. Vanity isn’t against the law, you know.

Tori Spelling is scary skinny, paranoid and afraid Dean will leave her

wenn5450757

Dear God, why? So, Tori Spelling is all over the tabloids this week, probably promoting the new season of Tori & Dean or whatever. She and Dean sat down for an Us Weekly interview to help draw attention to whatever bullsh-t relationship drama they created in order to sell their show. And you know I usually don’t mind Tori, but she’s grating on my nerves big time today:

[Tori]… insists it’s all par for the course. “There are good days and bad days with everything,” she explains. “I’m happy fans will see we have ups and downs like everyone else.” But the two remain each other’s favorite costars.

“If I were on another series or Dean was, we’d be gone 17 hours a day,” Spelling says.

“We get to be together.” Echoes McDermott, “It’s a lot of fun, and we get to spend time together.”

And the duo love to be close, lazing around on mornings with 22-month-old daughter Stella and on Liam, 3.

“We feel like everything family-wise revolves around the bed,” Spelling says. “We call it cozy time.” Even more fun: Both kids have distinct personalities. “Liam’s mellow,” Spelling says. As for the more outgoing Stella? “She’s into fashion,” Spelling reveals. “She obsessed with shoes, and starting to pick out her own outfits!”

Meanwhile, Spelling and her mom, Candy, have put their long-standing feud – which peaked after Aaron Spellings’s 2006 death – to rest.

“She’s a very doting grandmother,” Spelling gushes. It’s great for us, it’s great for her. Everyone wins.”

[From US Weekly, print edition, April 12, 2010]

Eh. Do I believe that they’re probably pretty happy together? Kind of. I always say this when I’m talking about Tori and Dean, but I’ll just say this sh-t again – they’re not very good actors, and when I watch Tori & Dean, I think they genuinely love each other. Whatever.

Star Magazine does not have an interview with Tori or Dean, so instead they’re running yet another “Tori is scary skinny” piece. It’s basically a series of comments from “eyewitnesses” who recently saw Tori on a red carpet, but some of the insults lodged at Tori are slightly funny just for the sheer meanness:

At the How to Train Your Dragon premiere, one mom stood out.

“There was a woman holding a young child in front of me, and she looked absolutely emaciated,” says an eyewitness. “She was wearing a backless dress, and you could plainly see her chicken-wing shoulder blades and the outline of all her ribs sticking out against her skin. I thought, ‘This poor woman. She must be ill.’ Then she turned around and it was Tori Spelling! Her eyes seemed to be sunken into her head, and I gasped at her sickly appearance.”

An insider tells Star: “Lots of Tori’s friends have always secretly believed that Dean only married her for the fame and career opportunities. And now Tori may have some doubts herself about his commitment to their relationship – and the strains has been taking a huge toll on her eating habits and physique.”

[From Star Magazine, print edition]

Blah, blah, blah, there’s more stuff about the new season of Tori & Dean that reads like a promotion. But Star also notes that Dean has been spending $5000 a week on motorcycle stuff, and that Tori has been “constantly pleading” with Dean to cut back. Oh, and Tori is paranoid about Dean leaving her, and she’s always checking his cell phone and e-mails. All of which makes her more neurotic, and makes her lose more weight. Vicious cycle. My thoughts on Tori’s weight is actually a lot like what I think of Angelina Jolie’s weight loss – I think some women’s bodies just go haywire after they give birth, and their metabolism gets f-cked up, and it becomes difficult for them to keep weight on. Granted, both women probably do need to eat more and eat healthier, but I’d be willing to bet that Tori isn’t starving herself or anything.

Jennifer Hudson is the new spokesperson for Weight Watchers

Jennifer Hudson appeared on Good Morning America this morning looking amazingly svelte and really, really happy. The Oscar winning singer and new mom announced that she has become the new spokesperson for “Weight Watchers.” She said that after the birth of her son, David, 7 months, she wanted to “get healthy” and “make better life choices” for herself and her son. While Hudson didn’t reveal the amount of weight she has lost, she did say that she walks daily, eats better and uses the Weight Watchers’ iPhone app to keep track of what she eats. Go, Jennifer!

hudson1

The secret behind Jennifer Hudson’s amazing body after baby? Weight Watchers! In fact, the new mom revealed she’s the new spokesperson for the company today. “With Weight Watchers I am enjoying the weight loss because I’m doing it the right way—I feel empowered with what I’ve learned, everything from portion control to what foods will help keep me satisfied,” says the 28-year-old singer-actress. “It’s a lifestyle change, not a diet.” The Oscar-winning actress—who has a 7-month son, David Daniel Otunga Jr., with her fiancé David Otunga, 28—also likes how the diet fits into her busy lifestyle. “I can follow the plan no matter where I am, still enjoy my favorite foods and even use the iPhone app to track my points,” she says. Hudson is no stranger to publicly discussing her weight: After being called “the big girl” as a contestant on American Idol, the singer transformed her body for her Oscar winning turn as Effie in Dreamgirls by packing on more than 20 lbs. with a diet of “cakes and cookies and lots of friend food,” she told PEOPLE. She later lost the weight for the premiere of the film. Past celebrities who have represented Weight Watcher in the past include Jenny McCarthy, Duchess of York Sarah Feruson and Lynn Redgrave.

[From People]

It was nice to see Jennifer looking and feeling great after the tough personal ordeal she’s been through in recent years. Out of all the weight loss plans out there, Weight Watchers seems like the one with the most success, because rather than making people buy special food, it teaches you how to eat sensibly in the real world using portion control. Most of us can’t afford to buy all that special food, and once you stop using the plan and eating regular food, it’s easy to put the weight back on.

Jennifer is currently preparing to play Winnie Mandela in a new biopic about the controversial wife of Nelson Mandela.

Kevin Federline drank 24 cans of soda a day, says he loves Britney & Shar

Kevin Federline goes grocery shopping with girlfriend Victoria Prince and buys healthy food only to smoke a cigarette on his way out
Kevin Federline was on the Bonnie Hunt show earlier this week and I have to say that the guy seemed much humbler and soft spoken than he has in the past. (You can see the video here.) He talked about how depressed and affected he was by his ex wife Britney’s public downfall during their divorce and how he took comfort in eating and sitting on the couch. He’s addressed this in the past while promoting his appearance on Celebrity Fit Club, airing now. I was really impressed by how sincere and genuine he seemed. He didn’t come across as a dick at all, and that’s high praise considering what a materialistic ass he was before he gained and then lost all that weight.

Kevin also said that he loves both Britney Spears and Shar Jackson, the mothers of his four children. He said he’s reached a point with both of them where they’re friends and are successfully coparenting. He sounded very grateful to have them in his life.

I’m really fortunate to have both of those people in my life… and as mothers of my children. In all actuality they are very very understanding… I love both of them very much. I still to this day I love them both.

In their coverage of this story, The Sun focuses on the fact that Kevin drank a whopping 12-24 cans of soda a day. It wasn’t diet soda and he called it his “coffee and candy.” He also said he ate comfort food like pizza and macaroni and cheese and his only exercise was playing with his kids. At his heaviest the 6′ tall former backup dancer was 240 pounds.

The former dancer, who recently appeared on Celebrity FIT club in the US, blamed his unhealthy diet and subsequent weight gain on his split from BRITNEY SPEARS.

He told chat show host BONNIE HUNT: “I didn’t drink water, that was all I drank.

“That was my coffee and my candy.”

K-Fed admitted spending days on the couch eating pizza and Macaroni cheese, his only exercise being playing with his young kids.

He suffered depression following the end of his two-year marriage to Britney and revealed watching his ex-wife’s meltdown made things worse – leading to his lust for food.

He added: “I hit 30-years-old, I stop dancing, started eating and sitting on the couch playing with the kids here and there.

“I got lazier and lazier, and fatter and fatter.”

[From The Sun]

I couldn’t figure out exactly how much weight K-well fed has lost, but it looked like at least 40 pounds when he first did the talk show circuit a couple of months ago. Now he’s gained some back. Hopefully he’s switched to diet soda and water. I’ve heard other people who’ve lost weight mention that they drank more than two liters of soda a day. Just one can has over 10 teaspoons of sugar in it! Imagine what more than 120 teaspoons of sugar a day can do to your body.

Kourtney Kardashian reveals her Photoshopped post-baby body

image0032

I’m not a Kourtney Kardashian hater. I don’t think she’s the devil. I just don’t buy her act. I think she’s probably a massive diva, and I also think there are legitimate questions as to her baby’s paternity - questions that Kourtney refuses to acknowledge, and tries to change the subject to Scott Disick being a tool. Which he is, granted. But Scott still might not be the baby daddy of little Mason Dixon.

Anyway, Kourtney has decided that it’s time we all pay attention to her and her drama again, so she’s posed for the cover of this week’s Life & Style in a bikini. Is this really Kourtney’s body? Sure. Maybe. With a little help from the Photoshop Gods. She also tells the mag that she’s totally open to having another baby… probably because she wants more attention.

In an EXCLUSIVE photo shoot with Life & Style, Kourtney Kardashian slips back into a bikini for the first time since giving birth to her son, Mason, on December 14th. The reality star gained 40 pounds during her pregnancy and in just three months has already lost an astounding 33 pounds. “Being with Mason was so much more important than working out,” Kourtney explains to Life & Style on why she took her time to shed the pounds. Kourtney shares her secrets to weight-loss success, what boyfriend, Scott Disick, thinks of her new figure — and the couples plans for more babies!

L&S: How does it feel to show off your post-baby body in a bikini?
Kourtney: I feel good! I’m just starting to get comfortable being in a bikini again. I’m excited. Scott told me recently that he could tell my body was changing. He also said he could tell I’m noticing it because I’ll do these stupid dances in the mirror.

L&S: What does Scott think of your new body?
Kourtney: He’s always complimentary. He loved my post-baby body, but I think he’s excited I’m getting my old body back too.

L&S: Have you reached your goal?
Kourtney: I have a few pounds until I get back to what I was before: 100 pounds. But I feel comfortable. I weigh about 107 pounds.

L&S: Would you like another baby right away?
Kourtney: I don’t know. I’ll see what happens, but I’m definitely not opposed to it.

Eh. Whatever. It’s easy to talk about how much weight you lost when you’ve got people Photoshopping you. Now, I’ve seen “candid” photos of Kourtney where she did look great, and she looked healthy and everything. But it does bother me that some woman out there in the world will be looking at this and thinking that her post-pregnancy body isn’t good enough because she doesn’t look like Kourtney’s airbrushed-into-oblivion figure. Whatever.

Kourtney also made it on the OK! Magazine cover this week with Kendra Wilkinson. OK describes the cover story as: “In the new issue of OK! — on sale everywhere Thursday — these two courageous women take on their critics and hit back at the rumors plaguing their personal lives.” Courageous? Are you kidding me? Is Kourtney holding OK Magazine’s dog for ransom? Beyond that, it doesn’t even look like OK scored an interview with Kourtney. They online excerpt reads: “A family source tells OK! that, thanks to Kourtney’s support, Scott ‘has grown up a lot since Mason was born and is proving to be a really good dad.’” Eh. We’ll see. I think Scott has one foot out the door.
