Meg White sex tape might be the reason White Stripes cancelled tour

megwhite1.jpg
There’s a Meg White sex tape available online, and it definitely looks like the pretty dark-haired drummer and backup singer of popular band The White Stripes. In the amateur footage, the voluptuous White is shown in a couple of sex positions and is clearly aware she’s being taped. In the two and a half minute clip, she smiles and looks at the camera while she’s having sex with an unknown male partner. It’s all pretty standard fare, but she shouldn’t have taped it if she didn’t want it getting out.

It’s unknown how old the footage is, but maybe Meg White knew it was uh, coming. On September 11, 18 dates of the White Stripes North American tour were canceled, with Meg citing acute anxiety as the reason.

Although Meg White and lead singer Jack White once claimed to be siblings they were actually married in 1996 and divorced in 2000, as shown in marriage and divorce documents published in the Detroit Free Press. Jack White was born John Anthony Gillis and took Meg’s last name when they were married. The two have never admitted that they were once husband and wife.

Jack White is now married to model Karen Elson and has a 17 month-old daughter, Scarlett Teresa White. Meg White is single and is said to be incredibly shy and to enjoy taxidermy as a hobby:

She is, by her own admission, “very shy” and gives few interviews. When the band is interviewed, she will often contribute little or nothing, while Jack White will do most of the talking. In her time away from the band Meg enjoys photography and amateur taxidermy. Animals are also something of a motif in her photography (mainly album covers and music videos). Among those photographed with her are a snake,[9] rats (the video for Hotel Yorba and the back cover of Elephant), a cow, rabbits, and raccoons (the 7 inch cover of the Denial Twist single). She guards her privacy in a manner that she identifies with Bob Dylan, whom she admires.

On September 11, 2007, the White Stripes were forced to cancel 18 tour dates due to Meg White’s suffering from acute anxiety. The following day, said problems caused the duo to cancel the remainder of their 2007 UK tour dates as well.

I feel sorry for her that this got out and it’s got to be devastating. If you want to see the video, it’s NSFW or under 18, and is available through a link on ONTD. (The embedded video doesn’t work, follow the link underneath it.)
