White Trash Parents Britney and Kevin have worked out the January custody arrangements
for their children. Brit and her posse are taking the kids to Miami for the first part of January. Britney is supposed to let K-Fed know where she is while in Miami. White Trash Mom wonders if this includes telling him about the nightclubs she’s partying and flashing at.

After Brit returns from Miami, the children’s father gets to see them for three weekly visits at Britney’s new home. Visits are to be no more than 4 hours in length. Since this is about a 1000% increase in the time K-Fed usually spends with the boys, I’d say at least one of the two of them is trying to improve.

The only people that are allowed at the “January Father Visits”: Britney, Kevin, a nanny, Britney’s personal assistant and “household staff”. So I guess that is about 25 people if you count the staff. It warms my little WT heart to see how family centered Kev and Brit are being, don’t you agree?

These look like the kind of posed bikini candids we’ve been seeing so many of lately. Keira Knightley and her boyfriend, Rupert Friend, played in the ocean in Hawaii and look like they’re having great fun on an overcast day. Keira’s boyfriend is poised on the ledge between buff and too skinny and manages not to look emaciated while poor Keira needs to gain ten pounds. (And get her eyebrows done as usual. Maybe that look helps her land those arty historical movie roles because the women back then had bushy eyebrows too.)

At first I was like “Why does Keira need to pose for happy couple bikini candids?” but then I found an article in The Mirror about how she’s supposedly having trouble in her relationship with her live in boyfriend. These pictures are coming out right after that story and scream “look, we’re fine!”

This is a fake story made up by a British rag that heard that Scarlett Johansson was in Justin Timberlake’s new video and showed up at the party for the premiere of his movie, Alpha Dog. News of the World is claiming that Scarlet and Justin are an item now that Justin and Cameron have called it quits. Scarlet and her long term boyfriend, Josh Hartnett, are also rumored to be over although they did a good job of hiding their on and off relationship:

The two were working on the promo all last week — and have been spending a lot of time together off the set in Los Angeles. A source told me: “Things just didn’t work out between Justin and Cameron.

“They decided to part ways — but they didn’t tell anyone.

“He’s got a tour coming up this year and wanted to concentrate on that, but it seems he’s really hit it off with Scarlett while working on the video.”

On Wednesday, 2nd January, Scarlett was at the after-party for the premiere of Justin’s new movie, Alpha Dog, at Social Hollywood in LA.

Our source said: “She walked in keeping her head down. When she met Justin they looked very close and chatted away for ages.

“There were other people trying to speak to Justin but he kept his attention on her for around an hour. They looked very intimate.

“But he’s still trying to make it look low key—because he left with his mum Lynn later through a back exit.”

Justin, 25, was still with Cameron when he asked Scarlett to play the leading lady in the vid believed to be based on his relationship with Britney Spears.

And with their curly long blonde hair, big eyes and curvy figures, there are definite similarities between the two beauties.

There’s no “insider” information in that story, and it’s just a rehashing of known information about Justin and Scarlet.

News was that Scarlett was being bitchy on the set of the video and that she got mad when she couldn’t smoke on the set and told people not to eat around her. Her publicist denied the claims.

Another story came out that Justin and Kate Hudson were together since he went to a New Year’s party at her house and they were seen going upstairs together. From what I read lots of people were at that party and it was a big to-do over nothing. It’s more likely that he was banging a real estate agent in his hometown of Nashville, Tennessee. The woman was said to be an old flame of Justin’s and she stayed overnight at his parent’s house while he was there.

We’ll have to stay tuned to see what happens with Justin’s love life, but if he does have more than a business relationship with Scarlett Johansson I bet they’ll be good at hiding it. She managed to keep her relationship with Josh Hartnet low key and if she’s actually with Justin, which I doubt, she’ll be careful to hide it.

Suri Cruise was supposed born on April 18th, and was closely guarded by the Holmes-Cruises until her pictures were published in Vanity Fair in early September. There were all sorts of conspiracy theories about little Suri and the Cruise’s reason for hiding her, and we of course chimed in. I speculated that she was older than the Cruise’s claimed, that she wasn’t sterile Tom’s baby, and that maybe she had something wrong with her.

Now In Touch is running a story claiming that people close to Britney are worried because very few people have seen her second child since he was born September 12. Little Jayden James is starting to rival Suri in how long Britney has managed to keep him under wraps. Unlike Suri, there isn’t even a picture of baby Jayden under a blanket or with a handler. (Note: the header photo is of Britney with Sean Preston, not Jayden.) He must have a vitamin D deficiency since it doesn’t seem like he’s seen the light of day.

Britney Spears was in a good mood as she showed guests around her new Beverly Hills home. But when one of her visitors innocently tried to take a photo of her son Jayden, Britney’s smile vanished. “No pictures!” Britney shreiked, according to a witness. “You can take pictures of Sean Preston, but please, absolutely none of Jayden,” she told the startled guest…

The 25-year-old’s extreme secretiveness about the baby has people speculating. “Some family members are worried there is something wrong with Jayden because Britney doesn’t let too many people see him,” says an insider>

The magazine points out other celebrities that have publically shown their babies, and how quickly they published the photos and took out the infants in comparison to Britney. Gwyneth Paltrow, Heidi Klum, Brooke Shields, and Sarah Jessica Parker all showed their babies within a month of their birth.

There was a story that Britney was trying to give away photos of Jayden to the most prestigious magazine possible. She didn’t want to sell the pics and have K-Fed get half of the profits since their divorce is not final. Word is that Vanity Fair turned Britney down, and now that everyone’s seen where the baby came from (not really, I guess, considering that she had a c-section) it seems like the press is not that interested in her second child.

If she was in a cult or had more going on than constant partying then we would have been all over this story a while ago. As it is, I don’t think anything is wrong with the baby. It seems like Britney is just being a self-centered fool for hiding him and still thinks her star is untarnished enough to get her new baby on the cover of something better than People.

Which celebrity baby has been plagued with health problems because insiders fear his mother wasn’t able to stay away from cocaine during her pregnancy?

There’s a story in this week’s Life & Style, that Vince Vaughn tried to get Jennifer Aniston to take him back when he visited her house around the holidays.

OK! Magazine ran this same news that Vaughn visited Aniston on Christmas Eve and claimed that she just wanted to show him her new Beverly Hills home. I’m going with OK’s version.

Here’s what Life & Style said:

Early afternoon, Christmas Eve. Jennifer Aniston, in her Hollywood Hills home, was looking forward to dinner with friends at LA steak house Mastro’s. But when the bell rand and Jen opened the door, she found herself face-to-face with her ex-boyfriend Vince Vaughn. It had been a while. The couple had broken up in October during Jen’s visit to London, where Vince has been filming Fred Claus, and hadn’t seen each other since. “Jen was happy to see Vince,” says an insider. “She’s never stopped caring for him.”

But if Vince’s visit was a bit out of the blue (he’d decided to jet to L.A. during a break from filming) what he rold Jen once they sat down inside was really out of left field: He wanted a second chance. “He told Jen he’d do whatever it took to win her back,” the insider adds, “even give her the baby she wants.”

Jen was touched by Vince’s sincere offer but said she’d been doing some soul-searching of her own. “Jen told him, ‘I really care about you, but this is all just too little too late,” says the insider. “But she said she hoped they could stay friends.”

I really doubt any of this is true apart from the fact that Vaughn visited Aniston on Christmas eve and stayed for an hour and a half, which is news that must come from the paparazzi crouching outside her home.

OK!’s version of events is that Vince visited Jen and they’re not more than friends:

Just before Christmasn, former flame Vince Vaughn visited her new $15 million Beverly Hills home. “Jen adores the house and was thrilled for Vince to see it,” a friend of the actress tells OK!

Vince, who had been in London filming the upcoing comedy Fred Claus, had returned to Los Andeles on Dec. 23 and made visiting Jen one of his top priorities. “Jen does not have a history of remaining friends with her exes but she wants that with Vince,” says Jen’s pal. “Now they’re buddies who can run into each other without it being uncomfortable. Jen certainly doesn’t have that with Brad.”

What to believe? Well, Life & Style is also saying that Angelina is pregnant again, so I think OK! is more accurate. Neither of these stories seem to have actual quotes from anyone who is a friend of Jen’s or some kind of “insider,” but who knows?

British newspaper The Guardian has a cautionary piece for Brad Pitt, saying that his career isn’t as great as it once was and that he can’t measure up to Matt Damon’s rising star. Damon has a big hit with the Bourne series and is playing meaty roles lately like in the super-boring Good Shepherd. All Pitt put out last year was Babel, which The Guardian deems pretentious, and although he’s been working a lot lately 2007 doesn’t have many great movies in store for Pitt.

They say the only promising film that Pitt is making in 2007 is The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, which won’t come out until Christmas time. The Oceans movies are kind of dragging him down, and he’s not really standing out in any films.

They say he hasn’t made any standout films since 1999:

That was 1999, and the last time he seemed awake and having fun. Moreover, from the outset, audiences have fun to the degree that he’s having a good time. We like to see that cheeky grin. But what we got instead was a series of films where the smile was fake or absent: Snatch, The Mexican, Spy Game (with Robert Redford - the kiss of death), Ocean’s Eleven, Full Frontal, the flat-out disaster of playing Achilles in Troy (I don’t think Achilles ever smiles), Ocean’s Twelve and Mr & Mrs Smith.

The latter was a hit, because the public was interested to see him with Angelina Jolie, yet it was hard to avoid the feeling that she was a lot sexier and smarter than he was. As for the two Ocean films - where he plays sidekick Rusty Ryan - they may have seemed like three months out with the boys and a sure cheque, but they have done no one involved any good. George Clooney survives because of all the other things he does. The same goes for Matt Damon. But Brad Pitt is behaving as if they were real jobs of work.

He has plenty of work coming up, including a third Ocean film, The Assassination of Jesse James (which really seems to be a film about Ben Affleck playing Bob Ford), and yet another David Fincher project, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, which comes from an F Scott Fitzgerald story about a guy who keeps getting younger (a nice hope). I’d say the Fincher picture can’t come too soon, but it’s not likely to appear until next Christmas. Time for Pitt to think very hard about that crew cut he’s adopted, to learn to smile again, to say goodbye to Ocean and to realise that Angelina Jolie is riding her own private tsunami which other people are not expected to survive.

I say when you’re a star like Pitt and make so much money, who cares? It’s not like he’s Ben Affleck and has to be super careful about the films he’s making. He already has a great career and although he hasn’t won an Oscar or anything he’s not likely to slip from the A list. Sure DiCaprio, Damon and Craig are now stars to watch out for, but Pitt will always set women’s hearts aflutter.

He looks a little bit weathered now although he could be just tired out from a gruelling schedule. He is shown at the Palm Springs film festival on Saturday, where the cast of Babel received an award. When asked if he would have more kids with Angelina, he gave their standard answer “Of course.” Pitt, Jolie and their family will be living in New Orleans for the next few months while Pitt is filming The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

Angelina Jolie just keeps giving interviews and talking to the press. She recently gave a backhanded compliment to Madonna, supposedly telling a French magazine that she “would never take a child away from a place where adoption is illegal,” but that she has “been horrified by the attacks [Madonna's] been subjected to [for adopting Davie].”

Madonna dissed Angelina a while ago by saying she could have done all the charity Angelina does, but that doesn’t actually help! She said to Time “Look, I could have joined the U.N. and become an ambassador and visited various countries and just kind of showed up and smiled and looked concerned. But that’s not getting to the root of the problem.”

It looks like Angelina is answering her in her own way, by saying people shouldn’t diss Madonna for snatching a baby, but of course she would never do such a thing because that’s wrong.

Angelina’s people issued a statement about the article implying that she gave more compliments to Madonna in the interview that weren’t published. She also said she really loved Brad and that after she met him her life “seemed more harmonious.”

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie made their second red carpet appearance together at the LA premiere of the new documentary “God Grew Tired,” a film about Somalian immigrants put out by Brad’s Plan B Productions.

Also at the premiere were Nicole Kidman, who narrates the film, Catherine Keener, who co-produces, and Ed Norton.

God Grew Tired of Us tells the story of four young men who leave war-torn Somalia to start a new life in America. They hiked barefoot across the desert for five years against incredible odds and finally made it to a UN refugee camp in Kenya, where they were chosen to emigrate to the U.S. The documentary tells the poignant sometimes funny story of how they adjusted to their new life. Nicole Kidman narrates.

It is winning rave reviews and received the Grand Jury prize and Audience Review prize at this year’s Sundance Festival. I know I would love to see it. It is in limited release from what I could tell.

Also, I wanted to point out that Angelina has a tell-tale bulging vein on her forehead, which I once read in a women’s magazine is the way you can tell that someone used Botox. I got too caught up in doing the research for the film to really focus on dissecting her every recent interview comment like I normally do.

When I first saw these pictures I was pretty sure they were old since Britney’s hanging out with K-Fed, right? Plus I can’t really keep track of her hairstyle lately and forgot that she went back to the blonde bob again. It turns out they’re new and she’s probably with a love interest, since she has such superb taste in men.

The last two guys she was linked to, douchebag-looking producer J.R. Rotem and philandering quarterback Matt Leinart, have been seen out in the company of more likely love interests. Matt Leinart was publically flirting with his ex, and Britney’s ex BFF, Paris Hilton, while Rotem seems to have inexplicably scored hot R&B artist Mya since they were seen leaving a party together.

I also kind of blew off this other story about Britney when I first read it, but now that other blogs are picking it up I guess it’s true. There’s a Craigslist ad looking for “experts” to help Britney with her comeback, and get this - the whole thing is going to be a reality TV show. Yeah, that’s a super great career move for Britney. As PITNB points out, her last attempt at reality TV was nauseating and completely unwatchable.
