The National Enquirer and Star Magazine claim to have the real reason behind K-Fed’s refusal to let Britney into his house shortly before she went to rehab. They say his ex and the mother of his two other children, Shar Jackson, was at his house helping him care for Britney’s two infant boys. They say that Shar wants K-Fed back, and if Britney found out she’s watching her children she’ll freak out as she’s still jealous of her.

What’s more, they claim K-Fed is telling Britney he’ll reconcile with her once she successfully completes rehab, and that’s what convinced her to give it a third try.

The Enquirer story also says that if Britney doesn’t finish rehab and sober up properly her family plans to commit her to a mental hospital.

The Enquirer has learned that while Britney is in Promises, her hubby Kevin Federline’s ex-lover, actress Shar Jackson, has been helping take care of their boys!

Britney is unaware of that fact, and people close to her don’t want her to find out because they are already concerned about her staying in rehab.

“Britney doesn’t think she has a problem. She agrees to go into rehab only because Kevin promised they’d be back together with their babies if she finished the program,” revealed a source close to the couple.

“Kevin has convinced Britney that he still loves her. He’s talked about all the things they’ll do when she gets out.

“But if Britney doesn’t stay in Promises, her family will put her in a mental health facility…”

“Shar has been at Kevin’s house helping him with the boys… Britney is terrified Kevin will get back with Shar. If Britney finds out what’s going on, she’ll go ballistic. There’s no doubt she’ll bolt from Promises and go running to get the kids.”

The article claims that Britney threatened to leave rehab if K-Fed and the kids didn’t visit her, and that’s why they were seen there last weekend. K-Fed has supposedly promised Britney that they’ll renew their wedding vows if she is successful at rehab.

I’m not sure I buy all that about Britney’s family wanting to commit her to a mental hospital, but it could be true that Shar is helping with the children. Maybe a paparazzo saw her leave K-Fed’s house when the kids were there. Star magazine says that Shar is trying to win Kevin’s affection and that she even cooked him his favorite meal, pasta and a dessert of carrot cake, for Valentine’s day.

There have been several stories lately about Britney and K-Fed getting back together. While I would like to think that they’re made up, there seems to be some truth to them. I wouldn’t put it past K-Fed to be sleeping with his ex Shar and getting her to watch the kids while promising Britney that he’ll reunite with her if she completes rehab.

Meanwhile Brooke Shields has offered Britney her help after hearing that she is reading her book about postpartum depression, “Down Came the Rain.” She said “If [Britney] is reading my book, I hope it’s helping her. If it’s not, and she wants to talk to someone, I’m available.”

Blogger abuser and moody rocker Jared Leto broke his nose when fans rushed him at a concert in El Paso, Texas. He went on with the show, but got checked out by a doctor afterwards. Leto sustained other minor injuries to his face and body:

True chaos ensued Thursday at the Taste of Chaos tour stop in El Paso, Texas, resulting in 30 Seconds to Mars singer Jared Leto sustaining a broken nose and other injuries.

According to a spokesperson for the band’s record label, Leto was injured when he ran into the crowd during “The Kill” and thousands of fans overpowered security and rushed toward him on the floor of County Coliseum.

Along with his nose, which was unintentionally broken, Leto suffered a foot injury and superficial injuries to his face and body.

Leto finished the show and even declared it one of the best of the tour, but eventually checked into a hospital to ensure that none of his injuries would require surgery. 30 Seconds to Mars are scheduled to perform Friday (March 2) in Dallas.

No fans were reportedly injured.

It looks like someone reads Best Week Ever and jumped on the opportunity to punch Jared Leto in the face when it presented itself. There are many stories of this guy generally acting like an asshole and threatening people. He also really hates blogs because they point out how shitty his music is and occasionally pay attention to all the arrogant abuse he heaps on others.

The NY Post is reporting that the disturbing photos of deceased Anna that were run in the National Enquirer were real and not “photo re-creations” as the tabloid claimed. There was a story that Anna’s mother Virgie Arthur went to the morgue to visit Anna and brought a reporter for paparazzi photo agency Splash News with her, so this is entirely plausible.

March 3, 2007 — DESPITE the National Enquirer’s claim that the eerie post-mortem images of Anna Nicole Smith it published were “photo re-creations based on eyewitness accounts,” a source close to the magazine says they were the actual photos of the Playboy playmate’s corpse lying in a Florida mortuary. “We didn’t want to get anyone fired,” an Enquirer operative told The Post’s Braden Keil. Someone with access to the refrigerated drawers scored a big payday after pulling out Smith’s pre-embalmed body and unzipping the body bag for an Enquirer photographer to hurriedly snap her bluish face.

I remember reading on the Splash News website that they had actual photos of Anna’s corpse, which they received a lot of heat for at the time. I wouldn’t doubt that one of the pictures is real, but my take is that the large photo the magazine used for the header image was the photo recreation, and that a less pretty small inset picture (warning: link leads to maybe-real picture) of Anna was real. The header image looks too cosmetic and like Anna is sleeping while the smaller picture seems a little more realistic. I would bet they did it that way so as not to feel guilty about running the actual photo. Either way, it’s despicable.

Unlikely American Idol finalist Antonella Barba has been a boon to the blogs on the level of Britney Spears’ weeklong crotch-a-thon last year. There are countless photos of her in lots of well-worn slutty poses like hot schoolteacher, wet t-shirt, and bored housewife. The search phrases “antonella barba bathroom pics” and “antonella barba blow job” are the top ones leading people to the site, so who am I to look a gift horse in the mouth?

Here are lots more high res pictures of the slutty American Idol, who remains in the competition despite a “pitchy” rendition of Celine Dion’s “Because You Love Me” this week. Barba even sort-of compared herself to much more talented Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson when Simon dissed her performance:

Antonella retorted that she would listen to Paula’s (nicer) criticism because “Simon was wrong about Jennifer Hudson, so…” Simon didn’t hesitate to respond, “Let me be absolutely clear. We put Jennifer Hudson on to “American Idol”. The American public voted her out, okay. I didn’t kick Jennifer Hudson out.”

Such arrogance and bad singing would normally be grounds for dismissal from Idol, but when you’ve got half-naked photos plastered all over the ‘net people are bound to vote you in. I wonder how long this chick will stay and if producers will pull her if she gets into the top 5 on slut factor alone.

I was certain that J.Lo was the one pressuring her husband Marc Anthony to join Tom Cruise’s Scientology cult, but a recent article in The National Enquirer suggests otherwise. Lopez recently said that she didn’t understand the negative portrayal of the soul-sucking Scientology cult in the media, because it seems benign to her since she’s buddies with so many brainwashed members and given the fact that her dad has been involved with it for 20 years.

It may be the case that if her dad couldn’t convert her that promises of movie roles from Cruise won’t either. The story has it that Lopez and Anthony were arguing at their Miami Superbowl show over whether they would tell an attending Tom Cruise that they were ready to join the cult for real instead of just trying it out and dabbling in the courses. Anthony urged J.Lo to say she was ready, but she told him she wasn’t so sure and that they should wait:

“Marc’s pushed Jennifer to embrace Scientology because he thinks it will boost her career. He also thinks it will benefit him and raise his profile in Hollywood,” revealed a source…

“It’s become a sore point in their marriage. And J.Lo’s unwillingness to accept Marc’s demands led them to fight in Miami, where they argued loudly and she was left in tears…”

“Tom and Katie (Holmes) travelled to Miami to see them perform at a pre-Super Bowl party, and Marc had wanted to tell Tom that night that they were fully committed, but he couldn’t - and that’s what led to the fight.”

They say that Lopez’s mother Lupe, a devoted Catholic, advised her against joining Scientology and said it could hurt her career. Marc Anthony has been influenced by a Scientology teacher with whom he’s been seen out with lately, and that likely prompted him to pressure his wife into joining.

If this news is true then good for J.Lo, it’s only going to cost her money and common sense if she joins Scientology.

Lopez is set to sing on American Idol on April 11, which is sure to be better for her career than being known as a cult member.

This is a scan from The National Enquirer. Article concerns a claim by News of the World. The validity of each is pretty much a toss up.

It sounds like British rag News of The World is just taking tabloid reports about Britney to the next level. They claim she freaked out at the beginning of the week, wrote 666 on her head, and unsuccessfully tried to hang herself with a sheet from a light fixture in her room at that spa rehab Promises. Then the love of K-Fed saved her and she now wants another one of his babies to ignore. If this is true why are they the only source reporting it?

In a week of rehab madness the bonkers beauty wrote the number of the beast, 666, on her shaved head before running round the clinic screaming “I am the Antichrist!” at frightened staff.

“Later that night she tried to kill herself,” a friend told us. “She attached a sheet to a light and tied it around her neck. Paramedics were called, but luckily she was unhurt.”

But within days out-of-control Britney had swung from SUICIDAL to MATRIMONIAL as she told hubby Kevin Federline she wanted to take him back, renew their wedding vows and get PREGNANT.

The unpredictable 25-year-old star is now planning a new life for them and their two children in Louisiana as she sees out her stay at the Promises Clinic in Malibu, California.

A source close to the clinic said: “Britney has realised what a rock Kevin has been to her, and how out of control she has acted recently.

“She has been talking to Kevin every night for hours on the phone, telling him she still loves him.

“She just wants to be with him again, and thinks having another baby will seal their marriage.

“Britney seems much happier and has calmed down a lot. She’s a completely different Britney from the beginning of the week.”

Staff at the addiction clinic will be relieved.

Most of the US gossip rags are reporting that Britney and K-Fed are going to renew their vows once she gets out of rehab. In Touch speculates that she’s suicidal, but it just sounds like they’re jumping to conclusions. If she tried to hang herself earlier in the week we would have heard about it by now. Add the news that she’s clamoring for another baby and it sounds ridiculous. News of the World is just raising the gossip bar to sell papers.

News of the World also claims that Britney was said to be hooked on crystal meth, which isn’t that much of a stretch given her crazed behavior. We’ll have to see how she fares in rehab. She will hopefully kick drugs and booze but she also needs to gain some common sense and modesty. At least she’s on the right track.

These pictures of Tobey McGuire, his fiance and their four month old daughter, Ruby, in Hawaii are pretty cute. New mom and jewelry designer to the stars Jennifer Meyer looks damn good for just having a baby in November. Tobey has a little of that sympathy pregnancy weight going on, which UrbanDK could elaborate on if he wasn’t on vacation this week, but Tobey can lose weight quickly and I’m sure he’ll be back in shape if his next role calls for it. He’s not tubby or anything.

Their baby Ruby is really cute and you can see the resemblance to Tobey in her features. That guy crouching nearby looks creepy, but the photo agency who took the pictures, Flynet, says they were there with “some close friends and relatives,” so hopefully they know the guy.

Spiderman 3 is due for release on May 4, 2007. McGuire reprises his lead role as Peter Parker opposite Kirsten Dunst as Mary Jane Watson.

There have been some recent statements by 36 year-old Uma Thurman that make it sound like she’s a little depressed as she gets older and her sex symbol status diminishes. She supposedly said that guys don’t hit on her, but I would suspect that quote is made up since the wording sounds decidedly British and I can’t find a source:

Men rarely chat me up, if I’m honest. And certainly not the right sort. ‘I’m not sure what the right sort is, although cheesy chat-up lines definitely don’t work on me. I’ve heard quite a few of those. The worst has to be, ‘Hey, has anyone ever told you that you look like Uma Thurman?’

And she’s also bemoaned her “sagging” body, which still looks great. This was also reported in a British magazine, but the quote sounds a little more realistic to me:

‘I really like the gym but I never find time to go when I’m working,’ she tells The Mail On Sunday.

‘I work and then I have my personal life with my kids, so I am left with an ever-softening body… my ever-sagging body.’

That just happens when you get older, but why sweat it when you still look better than 90% of the women in your age bracket? Thurman is gorgeous, she just needs to work it a little more and hire a makeup artist before she goes to events. She’s using crappy mascara here that doesn’t even cover her lashes, just a smudge of eyeliner, and she doesn’t even seem to have foundation on. Many celebrities look too made up before events, or they do it poorly themselves with a heavy hand like Gwyneth Paltrow, but Thurman looks like she spent five minutes in front of the mirror applying less than the basics and just said ‘f it.

While Djimon Hounsou has moved on from his brief dalliance with Cameron Diaz into the scarier arms of fashionista Kimora Lee Simmons, Diaz wasted no time finding another buff bald actor to hook up with. She was seen making out with Tyrese Gibson at LA nightspot Xenii, and was out at an Oscars party with him:

Looks like the tide went out and took surfer Kelly Slater with it. A Gatecrasher spy caught Tyrese Gibson and Cameron Diaz in full lip-lock at the hip L.A. club Xenii. “They made out right in front of me on the dance floor,” says the spy.

They also came (and left) together to a pre-Oscars party thrown by Harvey Weinstein, Tamara Mellon and Tracey Edmonds, although Diaz’s rep tells us the two are not dating.

And in that same article the NY Daily News claims that Whitney Houston’s recent younger boyfriend and star of the now on legal-hold sex tape with Kimberly Kardashian, Ray J, was hanging out with plastic surgery victim ‘Lil Kim!

I don’t know much about Tyrese so I looked him up on IMDB and Wikipedia. He was first known as a rapper and R&B artist under the names Tyrese and Black-Ty. He got his start in films in 2001 in Baby Boy and was in 2003’s 2 Fast 2 Furious, and 2006’s Annapolis. He has several films in the works, including the upcoming Transformers movie. He also has producer credits on two films to come out next year.

Gibson is 28 while Diaz is 34. She certainly seems to be enjoying her single status since splitting with Justin Timberlake. Hopefully she’ll find a guy willing to commit this time.
