Is it wrong that these pictures of Scarlett Johansson looking like she’s gained weight made me feel better about myself? At least she’s dressing totally normal, unlike say a very fallen pop star who always dresses like a fug slut that we’re not talking about this week. She also looks normal and I’m not saying she’s pudgy or fat or anything, just that she’s not super thin and that’s nice to see.

She was seen out in Manhattan on 6/29 with a mystery blonde guy.

Her nose ring is kind of unattractive, but it’s not like it’s new. I remember seeing it last year. Those rings that hang from the middle of the nose aren’t as flattering as the normal one-nostril ones.

Scarlett will star in yet another film by director Woody Allen, called Barcelona. It is set in Barcelona, Spain and starts shooting next week. It also features Penelope Cruz, Patricia Clarkson, Kevin Dunn and Chris Messina.

I really enjoy these Jude Law drunk pictures. This is the second time Jude Law has been photographed out looking tipsy recently, and the last set came out just two weeks ago. He was leaving the Cabaret club in London last night and you can see the serious look on his face as he tries to concentrate on walking. At least someone else is driving him home.

Jude Law recently threw his ex wife and mother of his four children, Sadie Frost, a 42nd birthday party with a cake that said “Sexy Sadie.” He is said to be planning a safari vacation with her and their children. He also resisted the advances of his longterm on-and now mercifully-off girlfriend, Sienna Miller, at the O2 Wireless festival in London a couple weeks ago.

I know, I know, we’ve been hearing this rumour for months, but Christina’s pregnancy has been confirmed to E! News.

E! News confirmed Tuesday that the five-time Grammy winner and hubby Jordan Bratman are expecting their first child together. This will be baby number one for both.

There was no immediate comment from a publicist for the couple.

E! doesn’t say how the pregnancy was confirmed, or how far along she is. She’ll be playing in my town next month, the final date of her tour, so I’ll let you know if she’s sporting a baby belly then. I hope she is, and I hope it has her ears.

The rumours are also hotting up around Nicole Richie’s pregnancy, and In Touch is reporting she will be getting married to Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden before the baby is born. TMZ reports she is three months along.

TMZ has independently confirmed that Nicole Richie is pregnant. The starlet has been dating Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden for over six months. Rumors have been swirling for months that Richie and Madden were expecting, but TMZ has confirmed through several sources that she is, in fact, with child.

TMZ also has this interesting tidbit about what happens to mothers when they have their babies in jail. Nicole is in court facing charges for DUI on July 11th, although I can’t see Nicole spending 6 months in jail for a DUI.

Pregnant inmates are housed in the general population and given a high calorie diet — oh the horror — and prenatal vitamins. Eat up, hon! If Nic goes into labor while doing time, she’ll be forced to pop the kid at a hospital contracted by her Los Angeles correctional facility — no VIP suite at Cedars Sinai!

The usual hospital stay for jailbird mommies is three days, with the required Sheriff’s deputy standing guard. Then it’s back to the pen — without the newbie! The precious celebuspawn of Nicole and Joel would be given to either the father, or the grandparents!

While the pregnancy rumours may be true, my cynical side is suggesting that since they’ve been on the radar for a few months, it won’t be long until a baby belly becomes apparent - or not.

Personally, I’m not that excited, since these shows were either obvious choices or ones that don’t screen in New Zealand yet. It will be interesting to see whether these are the nominees come July 19th, when the list is oficially released.

My bet for best drama would be Heroes, and Ugly Betty for best comedy. Neither of which I watch, but they seem to have a good buzz about them.

I guess the leaked list could have quite an effect on bookmakers around the globe. Can you gamble on the outcome of awards shows in other countries? I tried to find this out but my NetNanny kept blocking those sites!!

They say bad luck comes in threes, so I hope Kate Moss’ number is up. She’s amazing, and for those of you who doubt it, she’s a 33-year-old single mother supermodel!

Unfortunately, this week she’s been replaced by Daisy Lowe as the face (boobs?) of Agent Provocateur. Female First suggests that this could be more than a simple replacement.

The 18 year old face of Whistles and daughter of Kate’s former friend Pearl Lowe was signed by one of the founders Serena Rees.

It seams that revenge is sweet for the young model who was rejected in favour of Moss for the lingerie company’s campaign last year.

Or could it be that Machiavellian influences are behind Rees choice of model? The supermodel reportedly fell out with Rees, who was married to Joe Corres, when she ran off with one of her best mate’s husbands last year.

On top of that Kate no longer speaks to Pearl Lowe; a former member of her ‘Primrose Hill set,’ following the publication of the latter’s tell-all autobiography.

In other unfortunate Kate news, her fiancee Pete Doherty is said to have been caught cheating with a South African model called Lindy. Here’s the report of his night out at London’s Crystal Nightclub.

A source told Britain’s Sunday Mirror newspaper: “When he first arrived Pete was showing off, standing on his chair and dancing like a loon. Then he started talking to a girl in a revealing white dress. She had the same pointy features as Kate.

“They went up the street for a while then came back inside where they had an intense chat for ages. There was lots of flirting and laughing. Then we saw four of them get into a cab and head off.”

The pair reportedly spent the night at Pete’s friend’s house, where they “disappeared into a bedroom together”.

Pete partied with his managers Andy and Adrian and a friend called Purple following a row with Kate, 33.

The source added: “Pete and Kate had a serious argument during the week and he decided to go out. Kate was calling around to see if anyone knew where he was. Hearing about him spending the night with another girl will eat her up.”

Kate has kicked Pete out of her home, and he’s now living in a caravan park, telling a fan as he arrived at his new accomodation “This is where I live now. Kate’s kicked me out and changed the locks.”

This was after he arrived two hours late for his court appearance for drug charges. He’s going to rehab, which is not only fashionable, but could be enough to get his relationship with Kate back on track. Although, he must have some kind of secret allure (great in bed?) that keeps her with him, since he always looks in need of a wash to me.

Kate left her North London home through a group of reporters, but as usual she made no statement. No wonder we are all interested in her, she never reveals anything and keeps us all guessing. Supermodel.

Courtney Love claims her macrobiotic diet made her fat. I thought that a key component of macrobiotics was portion control, but apparently not. I guess that’s why she got fat.

“I gained 40 to 50 pounds on macrobiotic food,” Love, who turns 43 on Monday, told PEOPLE Tuesday at the Givenchy Haute Couture autumn/winter show in Paris.

Her epiphany came after she did a photo shoot for Italian Vogue at 182 lbs. “At the time I had Gwyneth’s cook who does macro food,” she said.

“I thought, it can’t make me fat – he’s Gwyneth’s cook! [But] I saw those pictures and thought ‘Oh my God!’ 182 lbs. does not look good on me. Nothing fit.”

Her solution? “I put the non-Photoshopped pictures on my fridge and had a lock fixed on it. My daughter Frances has her carbs in one drawer. I don’t know where it is. I drink shakes and exercise my [butt] off. Isopure, no carbs – two shakes and one meal: fish. Fish and broccoli really does work!”

Two shakes and one meal? This isn’t a diet, this is insanity! No wonder those pics looked like she’d had liposuction - the truth is she starved herself, causing the sudden weight loss.

At least some charities are going to benefit from her weight loss. She’s selling her size six and eight clothes on ebay. The money will go to Chrysalis Foundation for battered women in L.A. and Fair, which is for fairness and accuracy in reporting. Will she also be donating some of the cash she’s making from Kurt Cobain’s dolls?

Courtney then continues to name drop, telling People that she needs to buy new clothes, but she hasn’t had a stylist in nine years. Her last one went to work for Madonna.

You can let your daughters out - Eddie Murphy is still with Tracey Edmonds.

“I did hear about the false rumor. That is absolutely not true,” Edmonds, a film producer who started dating Murphy last fall, tells PEOPLE exclusively.

The relationship was said to have folded under the pressure of the paternity case involving Eddie and his former girlfriend Mel B. He was revealed as the father in the case in June. Still no word on whether Eddie has visited his 2-month-old daughter Angel, who is with her mother Mel B in London. Perhaps he’ll see her when they pass through town on the Spice Girls world tour?

Eddie Murphy has a busy schedule in front of him, obviously the paternity scandal didn’t affect him as much as the one involving the transexual prostitute. Not only is a forth Shrek movie planned, he will also be appearing in a forth Beverly Hills Cop movie. Also a non-sequel project, titled NowhereLand, about a man who enters his daughters imaginary world to get away from work troubles.

Despite the harsh warnings from Nick and Vanessa’s lawyers, at least one gossip rag has braved a lawsuit to publish their totally non-staged sex pictures. I guess I am starting to buy their story that these were taken without their knowledge, but it does seem awfully convenient for them that they’re getting so much publicity at a time when they both need jobs.

These were published in Australia’s Famous Magazine. Nick looks like he’s really into it, which kind of skeeves me a little bit.

What is going on with Janet Jackson’s weight? I mean it’s not our business, but since she’s famous and has talked about her incredible weight loss so much it’s hard not to comment on it. About six weeks ago she did a cover story for US Weekly about how she kept the weight off for a year! She must have started slacking right after that.

These pictures make it look like she’s gained about 15-20 pounds. She still looks great, but you can really see the difference around her face.

For me it is pretty easy to gain weight. If I just pig out for a few days it’s noticeable. Janet Jackson must have that issue too. You just have to watch yourself and indulge only once in a while.

In the US article, Janet said she doesn’t like working out and has to push herself to do it. She also said she has to be careful not to party too much with her dancers as they like to drink and that can ruin her diet.

It’s not like she’s touring now or anything and her longterm boyfriend, Jermaine Dupri, has said that he loves her no matter what her size. It looks like she gained a lot of weight fast, just like she lost it.
