‘Jackass’ star Steve O, who is best known for stapling his own scrotum to his leg, has been busted for drugs again. The idiot star of Jackass, who is often seen at events smoking pot out of a homemade tin can bong on the red carpet, was picked up this morning after complaints that he was vandalizing his own apartment. When police investigated the complaint– presto! Steve O was found to have drugs on his person. Quelle surprise!

Steve-O is cooling his heels in jail.

The Jackass actor was arrested on drug charges, an LAPD spokesperson confirms to Usmagazine.com.

Officers were first called the scene at 5 a.m. this morning after hearing Steve-O was vandalizing the walls of his apartment.

“It appears there were holes in the common wall adjacent to a neighbor,” the spokesperson tells Us.

Drugs were found on the MTV star after police arrived at the scene.

TMZ.com, which first reported the arrest, says Steve-O was held in a citizen’s arrest. The LAPD spokesperson can’t confirm.

The LAPD spokesperson says Steve-O (real name: Stephen Glover) is still at LAPD’s Hollywood station and that bail has not yet been set.

In May 2003, the daredevil actor was jailed for five days in Sweden after joking about smuggling drugs in the country. Two months later, Steve-O was charged with disorderly conduct at a Lollapalooza concert in Pennsylvania.

This guy is a total loser and I hope they throw the book at him. He’s 34 years old and acts like he’s 16 and mentally handicapped, and somehow continues to get away with it. In addition to the drug arrests, he’s also been arrested in the past for his frequent love of urinating in public. I was kind of amazed that he was still living like a college student in a generic-looking apartment because I thought he was making bank on Jackass. Sometimes a strange piece of information crosses my path, like the fact the David Hasselhoff and ex-wife Pamela Bach are fighting over an antique barber’s chair. Pamela obviously doesn’t want the Hoff to have it, since she won’t let him back on the property to claim it. This seems like a strange thing to fight over, but then I realized that if anyone tried to make off with my Troll Doll collection I’d feel exactly the same way!

Fortunately for the Hoff, Johnny Depp, the Demon Barber of Fleet Street, has a spare antique barber’s chair for him.

The Hoff, 55, has been fighting ex-wife Pamela Bach, 44, for for the right to return to her LA home to collect an antique barber’s chair.

But Johnny, 44, has saved him the bother by giving him the original throne used in his movie Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street instead.

Hasselhoff’s lawyer, Melvin S. Goldsman, said: “David is just so pleased to have the matter behind him.”

I know that this is a British tabloid and not the most reliable source, but this is probably the most interesting thing I’ve heard of in a long time. As far as I know the Hoff and the sexiest man alive (in my opinion) have no particular connection, unless it’s that the Depp children love the Spongebob Squarepants movie. It features the Hoff, making good fun of himself.

The next question I have to ask is, what do you do with an antique barbers chair? Are they comfortable to sit in? Do you have your own barber shop set up at home complete with barber’s pole? Or do you just like quirky antiques? A barber pole is actually red and white striped because barbers used to perform surgery for people, which in unsophisticated times was just draining blood from someone. The bandages would get stained red and be hung outside to dry, which is why we have a red and white barber’s pole. It’s amazing the little bits of trivia you can find online.

Drew Barrymore was on Oprah last night, and donated a cool $1 million to the United Nations World Food Program. Due to rising food and commodity prices, which we’ve all felt the impact of at the local supermarket, the organization needs an extra $500 million dollars to help feed the world’s poor.

The 33-year-old American actress will give the money to the World Food Program, a UN body that delivers millions of tonnes of food aid to more than 70 million people in about 80 countries, she said on The Oprah Winfrey Show.

“I’m able to make this incredible donation - this has changed my life,” said Barrymore, who serves as a WFP ambassador against hunger. “But I encourage everyone to give.”

Later, she said the $US1 million was “by far” the largest donation she has ever made.

“But nothing has ever felt so good,” she said.

Despite the enormous novelty check, this isn’t a publicity stunt for Drew. In 2006 she traveled to Nairobi and wrote an article for Marie Claire magazine, as well as filmed a documentary, about the living conditions and how schooling is helping with the AIDS crisis. You can read her article here.

Drew’s co-star Scarlett Johansson is also doing her bit for charity, selling herself on eBay. You can bid for two tickets to her latest film, He’s Just Not That Into You, and to meet Scarlett. The bidding was at $11,700 last time I checked, and all the proceeds go to Oxfam. The film stars Drew Barrymore as well as Scarlett, and Scarlett has launched a YouTube appeal to raise more interest in the auction.

Kate Hudson donned a little red bikini yesterday by her hotel pool in Miami. There was more than one photographer who caught the moment, so I think it’s safe to assume that it was set up to quell the pregnancy rumors that have dogged the petite actress. Single Hudson had many people, including us, wondering if she was pregnant due to her loose and ruffled fashion choices in the past two months. She’s been seen out multiple times in ill-fitting tops and giant sweatshirts, and even wore a dress yesterday that made her look pregnant. Many of her dresses and tops were shown blown out in the stomach area from the late winter wind. While most people conceded that her stomach wasn’t as big as the wind made it out to be, there was something definitely suspicious in the clothes she was wearing.

Maybe it’s safe to assume from these photos that she just likes wearing big ol’ tops and shift dresses. She also has a tiny tummy bulge from some angles, and that’s probably where she gains weight, although she doesn’t look like she’s gained much and is pretty smoking in this bikini. It must suck to be an actress and have people speculating about the status of your womb. We’re guilty as charged.

Hudson is rumored to be back together with Owen Wilson. He was spotted leaving her house in the morning last weekend, and she was seen at his place later that day. Owen happens to be in Miami coincidentally at the same time as Kate, although from what I can tell they haven’t been spotted together.

We were chuckling over another story about Kate that came out yesterday in which she was confused when someone asked her about Grey’s Anatomy star Katherine Heigl. She was quoted in UK Elle as saying “Who is she? Oh, that girl in 27 Dresses? I just don’t think about that stuff.”

Britney’s paparazzo boyfriend Adnan Ghalib worked as a doorman and lap dance supervisor at a strip club in San Francisco in 2000, and one of the strippers who used to work with him told the National Enquirer that he was pocketing cash behind his employer’s backs and would sleep with anything that moved. Adnan would watch the girls give lap dances and worked out a deal with them so that they didn’t report their earnings to the club in return for giving him cash. What’s more is that he would sneak quickies with the strippers and supposedly slept with more than 10 women in a week. He was also supposedly addicted to crystal meth:

Ghalib worked as both a doorman and a “lap dance counter” at the Roaring 20’s club around the year 2000.

“Adnan was a shifty character. You needed to watch him 24/7, because he’d cheat you blind,” an ex-stripper at the club, who went by the stage name Trinity, told The Enquirer in an exclusive interview.

Ghalib, now 35, started out earning $9 an hour as the club doorman, but quickly worked his way up to “lap dance counter,” keeping track of strippers’ private lap dances for the club, according to Trinity.

Adnan found a way to make the job more lucrative for himself, said Trinity.

“Typically, the stripper and the club split the lap dance fee, which is usually $40. The more lap dances a stripper can do privately, the more money she and the club earn.

“And when Adnan saw how much money was changing hands, he wanted a piece of the action. He pressured girls into giving him cash kickbacks in return for not reporting some of their private dances.”

At other times, Ghalib demanded sexual favors instead of cash, according to Trinity and another source…

“His favorite place to have sex with the girls was the general manager’s office.

“The manager made a nightly money drop at the local bank - and Adnan knew the trip took about 15 minutes. Hed’ pull a girl in to the manager’s office and be out before the guy got back.

“As far as I know, Adnan still holds the club record for sleeping with 10 different strippers in a single week.”

In an inset story underneath this article they state that Adnan quit his job in February, 2001, after he pistol-whipped a patron who was arguing with him. Adnan beat the shit out of the guy, and when he looked like he was reaching for something Adnan pulled out the gun and started smashing him in the face with it. It accidentally fired, and although no one was hurt or charged with anything, Adnan was questioned by police and that was enough to scare him into quitting the job.

It sounds like Britney found a real winner, although somehow Adnan is less creepy than that Sam Lutfi character who bragged about drugging her food. If Adnan is the type of person to work in a strip club, steal from his employers and demand sexual favors you know he’s plotting ways to get a hold of some of Britney’s fortune. He was even married when he hooked up with her.

Britney supposedly broke up with Adnan after discovering sexy text messages sent by another woman. She is said to have thrown his iPhone into the pool after demanding to know who sent the messages. Since this story originated in the British tabloid press, chances are high that it’s completely made up, but hopefully it’s true. Britney is also rumored to be pregnant with Adnan’s baby, but that seems like little more than speculation based on her recent weight gain.

Rumor has it that Lindsay Lohan met tween sensation Miley Cyrus at a pre-Grammy party and gave Miley her cell phone number with instructions to call her so that they could spend time together and create some nice photo opportunities for Lohan. Miley’s protective father Billy Ray Cyrus then told his daughter in no uncertain terms that she was not to call the 21 year-old thrice-rehabbed Lohan or even consider hanging out with her:

Miley Cyrus gushed like a girly-fan when 21 year-old Rehab Queen Lindsay Lohan… rushed up to her at a pre-Grammy party and raved she’s a huge fan and, like, here’s my cell phone number, and like let’s hang out, ok? Billy Ray warned his [daughter] he absolutely will not tolerate socializing or “hanging out” with man-crazy party queen Lindsay, and… told Miley “I forbid it!”

Maybe if Lohan’s parents were more protective of her she wouldn’t be in the situation she’s in now. You have to give credit to Miley’s mom and dad for looking out for her and making sure she stays away from bad influences.

Unlike Lohan, who only gets publicity for nudity and continued bad behavior, Miley is wildly popular and makes headlines with the little things she says. The 15 year-old is quoted on US Magazine’s website as saying that 25 year-old Ryan Cabrera is “really cute.” US seems to have forgotten that she’s underage in a question they ran under that article asking if Ryan and Miley would make a good couple. Commentors noted “Yeah, it’d be as cute as a felony could be,” and “Are we forgetting a little thing called statutory rape?”

In other Miley news, Star Magazine quotes her as saying that she was nervous to meet Johnny Depp after her presenting gig at the Oscars. She said at the Governor’s Ball “I couldn’t believe Johnny Depp spoke to me! He has always been one of my favorite actors, and at first I couldn’t speak, I was so nervous.”

Miley didn’t seem nervous at all at the Oscars, even though many people wondered what she was even doing there. Unlike fellow presenter Katherine Heigl, she read her lines well and didn’t seem like she was intimidated at all.

Update: Miley’s dad Billy Ray Cyrus called into the Ryan Seacrest show this morning and denied this story was true, saying “We love Lindsay.”

Two creepy child star managers are having their day in court this week. First up, Lou Pearlman, the scumbag Miami businessman who managed both N’Sync and the Backstreet Boys. Pearlman was arrested last year in a federal bank fraud case, and changed his plea on those charges to guilty yesterday.

Lou Pearlman, best known for his work with boy bands like the Backstreet Boys and ‘N Sync, struck a plea deal in his federal bank fraud case and will work with prosecutors to help recover millions of dollars he is accused of stealing.

Pearlman allegedly defrauded banks out of more than $100 million and stole another $300 mil from investors. Psssh — chump change!

He entered a not guilty plea last year, but will change his plea to guilty in a hearing scheduled for Thursday. As for jail time, that’s for a judge to decide.

While Pearlman was incarcerated, rumors began circulating that the boy band manager had a nasty habit of putting the moves on his young male singers. Page Six reported last year that Pearlman’s favorite victim was Backstreet Boys’ Nick Carter.

Phoenix Stone, an early member of the Backstreet Boys, tells Vanity Fair Pearlman was “definitely inappropriate” with Nick Carter. Nick’s mom, Jane Carter, wouldn’t get into specifics, but said, “Certain things happened and it almost destroyed our family. I tried to warn everyone. I tried to warn all the mothers . . . I tried to expose him for what he was years ago.”

That’s just awful. No word yet on whether any of these rumors will ever translate into criminal charges.

One case that has indeed become a matter of the court is the recent conviction of Josh Werkman, manager of Dylan and Cole Sprouse, stars of the Disney Channel’s hit show, “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.” Werkman pled guilty to one count of molestation as well as the sale of alcoholic beverages to a minor. While the Sprouse twins were not involved in the case, it should be pointed out that the child who was molested by Werkman was a 16-year-old boy. Shudder.

Child star manager Josh Werkman has pleaded no contest to misdemeanor child molestation and misdemeanor sale of alcoholic beverage to a minor.

Werkman entered his plea in on Friday in Ventura County Superior Court. He will be sentenced on April 2.

Werkman manages Cole and Dylan Sprouse, the twin stars of the Disney Channel’s “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.” The twins were NOT involved in the case.

Werkman is also CEO of Merimark Entertainment and served as producer on the Sprouse twins’ two most recent movies.

Calls to Merimark for comment were not immediately returned. Reps for the Disney Channel had no comment.

Law enforcement tells us Werkman was initially arrested for felony sexual battery by restraint. Sources tell TMZ the alleged victim is a 16-year-old male.

Werkman’s lawyer, Steve Cron, says “Josh admitted he annoyed an individual who is a minor and provided that person with alcohol on the day in question. He acknowledged that he used bad judgment on that occasion and that is why he pleaded no contest to the two charges.”

UPDATE: TMZ spoke with the prosecutor in the case, Rameen Minoui, who tells us that Werkman must register as a sex offender, and could face up to one year in jail.

“Bad judgment”??? That’s the new way to explain molesting a child? You’ve got to be kidding me.

These stories are not only despicable, they should serve as a cautionary tale for parents thinking of getting their kids into show business: there are a lot of sick people in Hollywood and they’ll take advantage of anyone if there’s money to be gained– even a child.

In Tuesday’s new issue of Vanity Fair, famed photographer Annie Leibowitz captures a photo shoot of some of entertainment’s funny women dressed as Hollywood’s most troubled starlets. The shoot is part of a story in VF about the rise of female comedians like Tina Fey and Sarah Silverman.

The ladies channel pop tarts for the photog (it’s doubtless Amy Winehouse ever got a laugh for political parody). Sarah does her best Amy, complete with pinup-girl tattoos, The Office sweetheart Jenna Fischer goes Lindsay Lohan (center) and Wanda Sykes gets nasty as Lil Kim (right).

“There is no question that there are a million more funny women than there used to be,” writer Nora Ephron says of the featured femmes, also including E!’s Chelsea Handler (second from left) and Sandra Bernhard (left).

Alessandra Stanley’s cover story explores the recent inundation of female-driven comedy that, while capturing mass audiences (good move on f***ing Matt Damon, Sarah), relies heavily on sex appeal.

30 Rock creator Tina thinks you can thank Jennifer Aniston for that.

“In the ’90s, it seemed like every person on a sitcom — think of the cast of Friends —was just really foxy,” Tina says.

Joan Rivers echoes the sentiments.

“Nowadays, you can’t even get on open mike with less than a C cup,” the Botoxed comedy vet said.

Jenna Fischer, who plays Pam on “The Office,” says the idea of playing Lindsay Lohan in a photo shoot with Annie Leibovitz was such a source of stress and excitement, she had trouble sleeping the night before the shoot.

Turns out Jenna, 33, was more concerned with impressing the legendary photographer shooting her than with La Lohan.

“I couldn’t sleep the night before the shoot because I was so nervous to be shot by Annie Leibovitz. As a result I would sit and stare off into space when she was focusing on the other girls,” Jenna tells PageSix.com.

And about Lindsay?

“Then all of a sudden I’d hear Annie say, ‘That’s perfect, Jenna!’ and she’d be clicking away,” the actress says. “I guess for me, channeling Lindsay meant not getting enough sleep.”

Yoko Ono wasn’t the only woman in John Lennon’s life after the Beatles. Lennon’s lover of nearly two years, May Pang, has just released a book of photos chronicling the time she spent with John while he and Yoko were on the outs. The book, called “Instamatic Karma: Photographs of John Lennon” features intimate photos of John doing everyday things such as taking a trip to Disneyland, playing with his pet cats and his son Julian, and hanging out around New York City. Pang says she began her romance with John, surprisingly enough, at the suggestion of Yoko herself. Hey, it was the 70’s– anything went back then.

May Pang, John Lennon’s former lover during 18 months in 1973 and 1974 has completed a new book which is being endorsed by John Lennon’s first wife, Cynthia Lennon. May’s affair with John was arranged by her employer Yoko Ono when Yoko split from John. During their 18-month relationship also known as the “Lost Weekend,” several of John’s records were produced which can arguably be said to be his most creative time after the Beatles broke up.

Yoko is said to have tried to systematically erase May from Lennon’s history, but May has now published a collection of photos she had during her time with him. May’s new book, “Instamatic Karma” is hitting stores next month. Although this is May’s second book about her relationship, the photos in this new book haven’t yet been published.

John’s first wife, Cynthia, has given her blessing to the book, saying that May was a positive force in John’s life who urged the singer/songwriter to maintain his relationship with his son Julian. The relationship had been strained after John left Cynthia to marry Yoko.

The most interesting part of this book to me is the way in which Lennon could still do everyday things like walk down the street, play in the park, etc. without being mobbed by paparazzi. Here was one of the most famous men in the world, but he was still able to have a somewhat normal life after leaving the Beatles. I doubt that would be the case today. Something tells me if John were alive today he probably would have left the U.S. by now to avoid having his privacy invaded.
