After enjoying the sexual favors of several of the hottest 20-something women in the world, Ashton Kutcher might be going back to Demi Moore. Or so Radar and other media outlets would have you believe. Over the past year, Ashton has banged Rihanna, Mila Kunis, some screenwriter, and probably dozens of club girls and randoms. But will he always come back to Demi? Er… I don’t think so. I actually think this whole story sounds like Demi’s wishful thinking, and that makes me so, so sad.

Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher split last year following his very public cheating scandal and they’ve been separated for months but a new report is claiming that the Hollywood superstars may be headed for a shocking reconciliation.

They apparently were together this week at a birthday party for the man who officiated their wedding, and their reunion was an emotional one, with the couple “locked in a 60-second embrace,” at one point.

“They are still desperately in love and could be on for a reconciliation,” a source told the Sunday Mirror about Demi and Ashton. “The divorce isn’t being processed right now.”

Demi, 49, and Ashton, 34, were married for six years when he was caught cheating on their wedding anniversary, first reported by RadarOnline.com and Star magazine. But their recent reunion seems to have rekindled their feelings for each other.

According to the Sunday Mirror, Ashton gave a speech at Kabbalah Rabbi Yehuda Berg’s 40th birthday party and teared up when he said “I’ve made all these horrendous mistakes in the last year.”

A guest at the party said “Ashton’s voice started to break as he spoke. He just fell into tears. He sat down to a round of applause while Demi just looked frozen.”

Ashton, 34, reportedly arrived at the party at the Beverly Hills Hotel two hours before his ex and their interactions sparked the reconciliation buzz.

“Ashton was there quietly socializing and Demi showed up a couple of hours later looking amazing. She went over to wish Yehuda a happy birthday and Ashton was right by him. Yehuda left them to talk. They started to chat and were extremely affectionate. She was staring at him like a love-sick puppy,” a party guest told the Sunday Mirror.

They added details about the couple, saying that their actions insinuated that they were on the mend.

“They both sat at the front with a mutual friend between them. Demi got up to speak and spoke about family not necessarily being your blood but being people who love you. Then Ashton got up and he spoke about how amazing Yehuda was. He said that if Yehuda is your friend, he’ll love you unconditionally, no matter what mistakes you’ve made, before making the emotional admission that he had made mistakes. It was obvious he was referring to the break-up.”

Demi announced last year that she was separating from Ashton, and while she recently changed her Twitter name from MrsKutcher to JustDemi, neither party has yet to file for divorce.

See? It sounds like Demi is the one who is like a “lovesick puppy” and Ashton is just trying to be nice to his wreck of an estranged wife. And yes, I know that’s an awful stereotype and some of you will start yelling at me, etc. But this conforms to the image I have of Demi, a Whip-It-using, plastic, delusional woman. While Ashton is trying to show her tenderness out of fear that she’ll have another breakdown, Demi reads his actions as “wanting to get back together.” And it’s not happening.

Goodness, these might be the prettiest Reese Witherspoon photos ever. She’s a photogenic woman under normal circumstances, but the South of France really agrees with her, doesn’t it? Plus, she’s seven months pregnant and glowing. Anyway, Reese was all over Cannes yesterday as she promoted her new film, Mud, with Matthew McConaughey. Reese wore Versace for both the photo call (a great long-sleeved black minidress) and the premiere (a brilliant blue Atelier Versace gown which was super-sexy). Her makeup looked amazing. Her hair… well, there were some minor hair issues, but it was still pretty good and I loved that she seems to be growing out those thick bangs.

When she landed in France, she told Us Weekly, “The flight over was actually pretty good. I feel great. I’m excited about showing the movie. The energy here is great!” Her husband, Jim Toth, came with her, although I see very few photos of him around. He pretty much stands back and lets Reese have the limelight – it feels like a very no-drama marriage.

Anyway, I don’t really have much to say beyond “Jesus, she looks great!” She really does. Some women just look so amazing while pregnant. Reese is one of those ladies – gestating agrees with her.

There are a surprising amount of stories to cover this three-day holiday weekend, and we’ll be getting to them today and tomorrow, of course. But before I begin with the real celebrity gossip, I just had to cover these photos of my boyfriend in the South of France. You Fassbender-stalking loonies didn’t tell me that Fassy came to Monaco!!! But he’s there (or he was there), and these photos are Fassy’s beard-y appearance at the Hugo Boss party. Fassy’s X-Men: First Class buddies, Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult were there, and now I’m in love with all of them because these photos are just so cute.

Before I really GO HARD on Fassy, I would like to say that I’m enjoying that Jennifer and Nicholas do seem like a “real couple”. They’re making their long-distance relationship work, they travel to see each other, and I buy that Nicholas is really cool with how Jennifer’s career has exploded since they first got together on the set of X-Men: First Class. And they’re seriously adorable together. I want to think Fassy cosigns this young couple too.

As for Fassy… the beautiful red beard. He’s ginger and beautiful ALL OVER, and he’s proud of it. And the hilarious posing. The shark grin. The suit (which barely contains his thunder). He looks like he’s gained some weight too, and it suits him. He also looks like he’s getting his drink on – which is fine. I wonder if Nicole Beharie managed to make it to Monaco? I couldn’t find any photos of her. Do you think Michael is chatting up the dark, lovely ladies in Monaco?

I knew that Kristen Stewart would at least show up for Robert Pattinson‘s big Cannes premiere of Cosmopolis, but she did more than just turn up and do her infamous eye roll. Kristen probably looks better here than I’ve ever seen her look before! She donned a red Reem Acra gown and looks unbelievably sexy here. In fact, Kaiser and I have both been sitting here and admiring how perky her boobs are in this dress. Did you even realize that KStew had boobs before she wore this dress? Probably not.

Bright red lipstick and glammed up hair and minimal accessories really set off the whole package, and while Kaiser doesn’t really like the lace detail on the sides and back, I do for very unexplained reasons.

But KStew didn’t walk the red carpet alone. Her escort was Tom Sturridge, also known as Rob’s BFF and Sienna Miller’s baby daddy. I guess Tom makes a good enough escort despite the scrunchie. God, I wish he’d just cut that thing off.

Kristen looked so good at this premiere that I almost forgot that she didn’t even star within the movie. So let’s check on Rob and his co-stars, shall we?

Sarah Gadon wore a strapless, royal blue Jason Wu dress with a black waistband. It was kind of meh, but so is Sarah. As for Rob, he pulled some excellent faces on his way into the theater.

Of course, there were lots of other gorgeous ladies on the red carpet, and several of them gave Kristen a run for her proverbial money by wearing red dresses as well. Some were more appropriate than … others.

Natasha Poly probably thought she was bringing it in this trashy-looking scarlet cutout dress, but she looked like she was begging for attention. Did she realize that the leading man’s girlfriend would also be wearing a sexy red gown? Probably not, but Natasha overdid it in a big way here.

In contrast, Beatrice Rose did better in red than Natasha did. She made a statement but didn’t go overboard.

Julianna Margulies didn’t look like a showoff at all in red in this Reed Krakoff color-block dress. Even with a strapless gown, Julianna manages to somehow look demure.

Next came a sea of greens and blues for several other ladies in attendance.

Doutzen Kroes wore this slightly ugly sequined Elie Saab gown with a black waistband. Her purposely messy hair and flawless makeup redeemed her look somewhat.

Lily Donaldson looked really cute in this green number. She’s an effortless beauty.

Finally, we have Aishwarya Rai in a midnight blue, embroidered Elie Saab couture gown. She is pure class and looked amazing.

A new book about Prince William is about to released, and it’s not painting a very pretty picture of Kate Middleton. I looked it up on Amazon, and there’s not an American release date yet, but I’m sure that’s why In Touch Weekly is buzzing about this book, Prince William: The Man Who Will Be King. It’s a preview to whet your appetite so the bloody Yanks will buy the bloody book. ITW is trying to make this sound very scandalous, although I have my doubts. They claim William coordinated with the biographer, giving his permission for some of his staff members and friends to give interviews, which sucks because the book is all about how William was never really “sold” on Kate Middleton’s qualities, and all of the people “authorized” to speak on William’s behalf basically describe Kate a boring, diet-obsessed cold fish who was desperate to marry William. Hm…

The explosive new tell-all book Prince William: The Man Who Will Be King, has been splashed across the web, describing Kate Middleton as a cold, dull, serious girl who was never liked by William’s friends.

Now, In Touch can reveal that the biography, painting a less-than-glamorous portrait of the future Queen of England, had her husband’s blessing!

“It’s very unusual for the prince’s household to speak to a biographer like me,” author and royal insider Penny Junor exclusively tells In Touch. “But Prince William gave them his permission.”

The biography claims that when William first met Kate, she sported “unwashed hair, no makeup and grubby jeans.” Internet critics have latched onto these descriptions and run with them, calling Kate “ugly,” “anorexic” and a “golddigger.”

William’s love for Kate is even minimized in the book, with Penny claiming that, for quite a while during their courtship, the 29-year-old prince “had very real worries about whether it was possible to love just one woman.” What’s more, the book makes Kate appear somewhat desperate, stating that they split in 2007 because “Kate had always wanted rather more commitment than William was prepared to give.”

The book also draws attention to Kate’s skinny frame and diet, sparking cruel rumors that she is infertile.

Kate was worried before their engagement announcement that she would not be beloved by the British people. “Kate was frantic with worry that the public would not like her.” And now, it seems her fears have come true.

Yet as upset as the Duchess of Cambridge understandably is, she can take comfort in the fact that William is showing his commitment to her now. “He is being very supportive, and trying to make Kate laugh about things,” an insider reveals to In Touch. “The whole point of the book was that she was a normal girl, but she’s turned into a great beauty with a husband who loves her. That’s what she should focus on.”

Is Kate really “a cold, dull, serious girl who was never liked by William’s friends”? I might like her more if she had secretly been “serious” all this time, and not being liked by William’s snotty posh friends is a plus in my book. But I think the real scandal is that Kate isn’t very “serious” at all. The secret might be that she seems to be rather vapid, and she was only really “serious” about landing William. She put her mind to it and she achieved her one and only goal after nine long years. As for her being “cold and dull” – well… that might be slightly unfair. She lacks emotional intelligence, I think, but she seems like a smiley, happy, positive person.

As for the implied criticism of Kate’s dramatic weight loss over the course of the past two years, The Mail had an interesting story yesterday. Their sources claimed that Kate’s “toned” physique is courtesy of a very inexpensive workout:

This month she gave a glimpse of her enviably toned legs while watching her husband, Prince William, on the polo field. And now the Duchess of Cambridge’s purse-friendly fitness secret has been revealed.

According to reports a £13 workout consisting of a gym ball and a pair of dumbbells is behind the 30-year-old’s slender physique.

During a daily 60 minute regime Kate – who also enjoys hockey and running – is said to use the simple equipment to keep her limbs toned to perfection.

‘Kate does an hour’s workout every morning using the gym ball and dumbbells, which includes some core exercises like squats, sit-ups and arm curls. Kate knows how much scrutiny she’ll be under at these very public occasions, so she’s keen to look as slim and fit as she possibly can,’ a source told Now Magazine.

This sounds a lot like Tracy Anderson’s “method” of exercise and weight loss, which CB and I have always thought is more about limiting caloric intake rather than consistent low-weight-training. Which means that I think Kate’s weight loss is less about her exercise and more about how she limits her diet. But maybe I’m just acting pissy because I LOATHE squats.

These are some new photos of Britney Spears in Austin, Texas yesterday for The X-Factor tryouts or auditions or whatever. First, let me just say that I think Britney looks really good here – she looks healthy and “together”. She doesn’t have that “overwhelmed” look in her eye like she did during the Fox Upfronts. Hopefully, Us Weekly’s heavily-sourced report (which I covered yesterday) is just a PR piece to lower expectations for Britney so she will meet or exceed what we think she’s capable of.

As for how Britney did in Austin, TMZ reported that she “walked off” at one point during the auditions. It came right after a contestant “butchered” one of her songs, “Hold It Against Me”. Sources say Brit was “upset” and she “did not come back immediately … and four contestants auditioned in front of the remaining judges … and an empty seat.” But some flack for the show told TMZ that Britney was not upset and she was just taking a “short break”. TMZ also has a story that is straight from Simon Cowell’s ass – the source claims Britney has been “articulate, encouraging and even funny at times” with the contestants.

Meanwhile, as I’m sure you’ve already heard, Britney’s X Factor rider has been made public. Yes, not only is Britney getting a $15 million paycheck for this shiz, she’s also making producers stock her dressing room with all manner of goodies. Her rider includes:

*34 Herve Leger dresses
*12 Snickers bars
*10 snack-size bags of Doritos
*six cases of Diet Coke containing 24 cans, which must be replenished every week
*12 vases of magnolia blossoms in her dressing room

I always wonder about the girls (and boys) who are with a significant other for years and years without marrying, and then as soon as they break up, they jump into a new relationship and get engaged really quickly. So it is with Keira Knightley. She was with Rupert Friend for more than five years – they split up about a year and a half ago. Keira waited a hot minute, then jumped into a relationship with James Righton (some say there was overlap between James and Rupert). And now Keira and James are engaged! Congrats.

Actress Keira Knightley is engaged to marry her rocker boyfriend James Righton. The actress’s spokesperson confirmed she had accepted the Klaxons rocker’s proposal following a 15 month courtship. The London-born star, 27, started dating the 28-year-old keyboard player last year after being introduced by mutual friend Alexa Chung.

Knightley’s representative said: ‘I can confirm that Keira is engaged to be married to James Righton.’

But in keeping with the actress’ tightly-guarded privacy stance, the spokesperson declined to comment further. Since they started dating last year, the couple have kept their romance under wraps and are yet to pose together on a red carpet.

However, they have been photographed out together casually near their East London home several times. The Oscar-nominated star previously dated Pride & Prejudice co-star Rupert Friend for five years before splitting in January 2011.

Last year, her father William said on her split from Friend: ‘It wasn’t a decision that either of them took lightly. I know they gave it a great deal of thought. I don’t think there was any one thing that led to their break-up – it was a whole raft of things, I think.’

She also had a two-year romance with Irish model and actor Jamie Dornan before splitting in August 2005.

Righton is the keyboardist for London-based indie band Klaxons. The group won a Mercury Music Prize in 2007 for their debut album Myths Of The Near Future. The four-piece are currently working on a follow-up album to their last release Surfing The Void.

So did Keira want to marry Rupert and he just never got around to proposing, so Keira hit the road and found a dude who was the marrying kind? I have no idea. I had James pegged as Keira’s rebound after a long, marriage-like relationship with Rupert, so I’m surprised that they’re engaged now. Maybe it will be fine. Keira seems… more serious lately. Maybe she’s a “grown up” now. Maybe she sees all of her friends getting married (Carey Mulligan) and having babies (Sienna Miller) and she wants that life too.

I know I’ve called Bump Watch of Kirsten Dunst several times in the past, but seriously, doesn’t Kiki look pregnant here? These are more photos from the Cannes Film Festival amfAR gala last night – Kiki is the reigning Queen of Cannes (she won Best Actress last year), so she gets to be the header of this post. Kiki’s gown is Louis Vuitton – I think it’s fug. I don’t mind her in blue (although this shade is too “precious”), but this dress is – at best – unflattering. Plus, we need to talk about whether Kiki is gestating a little Garrett Hedlund. In the profile shot, I’m not really seeing a “bump”. But look at her boobs! Kiki’s always had a nice bust, but I swear they’re bigger and I swear she’s got a case of Pregnant-Face.

Janet Jackson in Emilio Pucci. Oh, Ms. Jackson. I love you, girl, but we need to talk. I’m proud of you for losing weight, really and truly. But you need to stop messing with your face and you need to find a better makeup artist. And please don’t wear dresses that make your boobs look so wonky.

In another world, in another lifetime, I would love the chance to look like Doutzen Kroes for a day. She’s just so beautiful!! Doutzen wore this white Versace – I think she looks like an old-school, proper supermodel. She’s got that crazy, sexy, athletic-slim body and the Versace looks poured onto her. That’s Sunnery James, her husband and father of her son Phyllon.

Everyone is saying that Kim Kardashian “pulled an Angelina” in this mustard yellow dress (I can’t find the designer ID). I kind of like how everyone calls it “the Angelina” now whenever a girl throws her leg out on the red carpet. It’s been happening a lot lately too – lots of girls have been “pulling the Angelina.” As for Kim’s dress – meh. This shade of yellow is so difficult to pull off, and while it’s not great on Kim, it’s not as bad as it could be. The design is meh. Her face looks decent, though.

Diane Kruger in Chanel. The one time she wears Chanel and I think “Hm, is that Oscar de la Renta?” I’m not crazy about this, honestly. Diane kind of pulls it off with that whimsical little skirt, but her skinny legs worry me. Joshua looks cute.

One of the biggest headlines to come out of this year’s Cannes Film Festival amfAR gala is the international debut of Aishwarya Rai’s postpartum figure. And that kind of sucks. As we discussed last week, Rai was facing increased criticism in India for not losing her pregnancy weight fast enough. The discussion became an international gossip subject after Indian papers published a recent photo of Rai with a double chin (gasp!). Anyway, the overwhelming majority of people felt like “For the love of God, leave the poor woman alone!!” And after all of that, Aishwarya still came to Cannes and… Lord, this woman is gorgeous. Look at that face. The dress/sari/Mandarin-jacket ensemble is by Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla. I don’t mind that she went for a more traditional, conservative look, but I would have loved to see her in just a straight-up silk sari in a beautiful jewel tone. Still, I don’t even see what the fuss is all about with her figure – she only looks slightly heavier than she did last year. What’s the BFD?

Georgina Chapman in her own Marchesa design. TRAINWRECK. Good God, does she not see how awful and budget her own designs are while she wears them?

Gerard Butler looks slim and soberish. I wonder if he boned anyone in the bathroom?

Julianna Margulies in L’Wren Scott. Elegant simplicity. Yes, it’s kind of boring, but I adore a cap sleeve when it’s done well. Julianna always looks better when she keeps her style simple, with clean lines and solid colors too. I also love JM’s hair here – I dislike it when she slicks everything back – it ages her. Looser styles compliment her face. My one complaint: the lining seems off somehow and in some photos you can totally see JM’s nips. Also: her husband is so cute.
