J.Lo channels Jane Fonda at the VMAs

Since J.Lo can’t get pregnant, she probably figures she’ll settle for looking matronly. What the hell is she wearing? She undoubtedly designed that craptacular outfit herself. It looks quite scratchy and polyester, but considering that J.Lo’s wearing it, it’s probably some rare kind of polyester that’s made from the skin of endangered seals. It might look kind of hot and retro if it was sleeveless, but she inexplicably tacked some puffy sleeves on it. And look – she’s wearing a matching silver do-rag!

She looks like she’s trying to channel her “Monster In-Law” co-star Jane Fonda circa 1968, but Fonda looked much more fierce.

I agree about the sleeves – if they were to go it might be kind of cool. Don’t like the tea-cosy hat though.

I’ve seen pics of her going gray recently which means she’s either 1.) preggo or 2) trying to gte preggo. Considering Jesse McCartney just blew the news in an interview that Jennifer left the film adaptation for “Dallas” because she’s pregnant I think it’s safe to say that the rag on top of her head is to hide all the gray. Women aren’t suppose to use hair dye during their first trimester I believe.

  3. Celebitchy says:

Jess McCartney recanted his statement saying she was pregnant, and it’s a myth that you can’t dye your hair when you’re pregnant.

  4. kelley says:

It is not a myth that you can’t dye your hair while you are preggo. The Acadamy of Pediatrics, advises against it durring pregnancy, because there is just not enough information on the risks. Most Dr.s will tell you to refrain at least in the first three months. Since you may not know till you are 6 weeks pregnant, a lot of women choose not to do it when activly trying to concieve.

  5. Lisa says:

Kelly- The AAP does not have an official policy about hair dye and pregnancy. Nowdays doctors aren’t telling pregnant women to aviod har dye.

  6. Gak. You are correct about the Jane Fonda resemblance.

Marc Anthony, as always, looked emaciated and somewhat drunk on tequila.

  7. jaz says:

she’s not pregnant..she’s barren and too busy praying to Santeria and casting voodoos on her enemies…

and look at Marc’s eyes..those malnourished underfed eyes and I’m sick of seeing his bloody bony chest. button up your shirt doofus..
    ugggh..to wake up to a shrivelled-up dick like him…

  8. Poor Boopie says:

There are vegetable based hair dyes that you can use while pregnant. She looks like a twit! The world is better off without their procreating anyway.

  9. Celebitchy says:

It’s controversial, but many doctors (at least mine) say it’s ok to dye your hair when pregnant. The recommendation is based on older dyes that had harsher chemicals in them. So I was wrong about the “myth” thing, sorry about that. Thanks Kelley!

  10. Hysteria says:

Face it, J. Lo took leftovers after she got left behind by Pretty Boy Ben. Marc boy needs a nose job right away and some new teeth. The girl has been dressing like a confused manequin since she took up with The Controlling Him.

She could dye her roots with rootbeer Koolaide, don’t ya know?

  11. jaz says:

Ben is in a much better place than her. Now she’s desperate to get pregnant but her man looks gravely ill…he’s had three kids already …
    two-timing ho..karma’s a bitch

  12. millie says:

Is it me or Marc has a Karma face? Either that or he’s gravely ill. I don’t like the do-rag but the rest is, I think, appropriate for VMAs. Crazy and very Barbarella, but appropriate. The fabric looks like she got it at Jo-Ann’s Fabrics though. You know, the stretchy stuff you buy for kids’ Halloween costumes though, as you said, it’s probably made of endangered animals.

You don’t pray TO Santeria, idiot! It is a benevilant religion…hence the name…Santeria, way of the Saints.

Voodoo is not the same. Get a clue before you bash other people’s beliefs…
