Sometimes I find things at online stores that I simply cannot comprehend. And these boots most definitely fall into the “what were they thinking” category. In fact, I’d almost put them on par with the hideous high heeled sneaker that became somewhat prevalent a decade or so ago (don’t pretend you don’t remember).

For the most part, Casadei knows what they’re doing in terms of footwear (the beauties at the top right of this page, which I’m a bit obsessed with, are a good example of that), but no one ever needed to invent a PVC knee-high boot/mary jane hybrid. They’re part stripper, part little girl’s party shoe – a strangely unsettling combination, I think you’ll agree.
