Well, it could still totally be a fraud, but Heidi has doubled-down on it. TMZ reports that Heidi has just filed for a legal separation from Spencer today, June 8. Hmm… still a publicity now? Probably. At this point, I think Heidi and Spencer are even considering a murder-suicide in a bid for attention. TMZ has more:
TMZ has learned Heidi Montag just showed up at the Santa Monica Courthouse and officially filed for legal separation from Spencer Pratt. She lists irreconcilable differences as the reason for separation.
Heidi did not file divorce papers. The legal significance of legal separation is that her earnings will become her separate property from the date of separation. Heidi lists the date of separation as today, June 8.
Interesting … under the section, “community assets and debts,” Heidi wrote, “No such assets or debts.”
Heidi tried filing in Malibu — of course — but the Malibu courts don’t do divorces.

A source told Radar: “As far as she’s concerned the marriage is over… She’s not quiet ready to file for divorce. She had great concern for her finances; Spencer has been spending what she considers to be her money.” Oh, so now it’s all about money? Hm… does Heidi have a lot of money? Strange. Also, Radar just had a big story yesterday all about how Spencer and Heidi were both “social outcasts” after their continuing moronic shenanigans. One advisor told Radar: “Anyone associated with Heidi and Spencer should re-evaluate their relationship with them as they’re likely to bring them down with them.” Maybe Heidi thinks Spencer is the one with the problem, and if she jumps ship now, she won’t get crystal stank on her.

First let me say I don’t hate or like Heidi and Spencer. I never watched the Hills and only hear about it and all the reality celeb-idiots when I read up on celeb gossip sites. I will say though Heidi use to be beautiful now not so much.
As for all the hate for these two, I don’t care for ANY of these reality idiots. And personally it’s the celeb gossip sites and the media that have caused their fame by always focusing on them. If people them so much then don’t write about them and their popularity with diminish. HELLO!

I never watched The Hills until this weekend when there was nothing else on TV. Spencer is a abuser. He has been abusing Heidi mentally and emotionally for years, which can often be more damaging than being physically abused (emotional scars never heal). It is so obvious watching his actions, reactions and facial expressions to everything that Heidi does that he is a classic emotional abuser. His treatment of Heidi’s friends and family (especially her sister) is another sign. He even got her fired! He feels threatened by anyone close to Heidi. He needs to be her total world. Trust me I know, I’ve been there and if this stuff is real (not just for the camera) then she better get out before he does slam her head into a wall (that’s when I finally left). Look what he’s turned her into – a cartoon caricature of herself and a tabloid joke. And no she really truly couldn’t have gone against him or walked away – she would have jumped off a rooftop if he had told her to. I’m appalled that the producers of the show didn’t step in and get rid of Spencer long ago and get Heidi some real help – this is a true addiction – Spencer being the drug (have any of you ever heard of battered women’s syndrome?). But then again it makes for good TV even if it destroyed Heidi in the process. Shame on everyone involved in this show.
