Charlie Sheen and his new bride, Brooke Mueller, have a revealing interview in this week’s OK! Magazine to accompany the photos from their wedding. Some of the highlights include the predictably extensive comments about Charlie’s ex, Denise Richards, in which he says he’s not going to say her name, but he still manages to talk about her a lot. They also say they’re trying for a baby right away, but that Brooke isn’t pregnant.
Charlie touts the fact that he got his wedding suit from low-cost chain Men’s Warehouse, which has suits from around $200 to $600, because he’s had problems with designer suits falling apart and he loves their commercials. The bride wore a Reem Acra gown and a headdress made from twigs and woven white wildflowers, in keeping with the ceremony and reception’s “nature” theme. Her engagement ring is a whopping 11.64 carats, but she says she’s only going to wear her wedding band out. There were 68 guests at the non-denominational ceremony including Charlie’s parent’s his three brothers, his co-stars, Jon Cryer and Holland Taylor, and their friends Eric Dane and Rebecca Gayheart.
Charlie, why did you go to Men’s Wearhouse for your wedding suit?
I like their commercials a lot! I got tired of $3,000 suits falling apart in the middle of certain events. I didn’t wear a tux because they’re hot and they don’t breath.Are you planning to start trying to have a baby right away.
Charlie: That’s the plan.
Brooke: There’s a rumor I’m pregnant, and I’m not.
How difficult was it hearing the comments your ex-wife Denise Richards made in the media on the eve of your wedding?
I’m so tired of talking about her and all her shenanigans. It is what it is. I don’t even care anymore. I’m going to take a stand to basically never utter her name publicly again, and I think if that’s known, it will put an end to some of this drama.
Have you watched her E! reality show?
No, and I won’t.How do you both stay centered amid the craziness?
Brooke: The injustice of it makes me crazy, and it’s hard to handle. But Charlie’s a pro. He’s an amazing father, and to hear what she is saying is so difficult. I want to protecthim.
Charlie: I think it’s not accident that whatsherface chose this time to do what she did. It’s pretty obvious that Brooke and I, through our actions and union, are moving on with our lives. Perhaps somebody else should consider the same.

Brooke and Charlie are probably obligated to talk about Denise by whatever large sum they received from OK! for exclusive rights to their wedding photos. You can’t help but think that fighting that harpie together helped unite them in a common cause and brought them closer together. Even though they say they’re moving on, you can definitely sense some triumph in their decision to get married and show a united front.
This week’s National Enquirer reports a sad rumor that Brooke suffered a miscarriage 10 weeks into a pregnancy just a week before their wedding. I hope that’s not true. They also say that Charlie wore a “black Pronto Uomo suit.” The most expensive Pronto Uomo suit on Men’s Wearhouse.com costs $500. It’s possible that Sheen was paid for an endorsement, but it sounds pretty genuine considering that he says he loves the commercials.

While I don’t think much of Charlie Sheen, I have to say that Denise’s tv show is making me think she is really a dope. She comes off as unlikeable, sometimes stupid and just plain manipulative. Why whould she put her recently widowed father through all that crap? I wanted to like her but I can’t.
Maybe it’s time he just shut up and took the high road. Just don’t refer to her at all in print because it just puts him back on her level and makes him look as spiteful and petty as she is. Personally, I think he’s worth a lot more that that. And it’s not as if people don’t already know exactly what Richards is like!
He had a really good career before he screwed up. It’s still possible for him to resurrect it.

That cracks me up, he loves the commercials. Good for him, I guess. Also good for him- finding a woman who doesn’t care what he wears to their wedding.

I like his show but man he is a jerk. She is nasty too so they made a great combo destined t end badly. Brooke seems a bit close eyed to his character. Lets not forget he pulled a gun on Kelly Preston when they were engaged and called a cancer patient names.
I wonder how insistently interviewers press these people for comments on their ex spouse? I mean, if you’ve decided for yourself you don’t want to say more on it, but it’s still kind of high in your mind, and somebody asks insistent questions about it…
It wouldn’t surprise me if this feud is kept going by journalists, is all. I wonder what would happen if nobody ever brought up their exes in interviews. Would they bring them up themselves?

I think Charlie should be greatful he has had the beautiful woman he has been involved with over the span of his career. He is not what some people would refer to as ” a looker ” if you know what I mean. Sorry Charlie, celebrity or not……I’ll pass!
Charlie’s hair always looks like he just got out of a wind tunnel. I always liked the Sheen family but Charlie has gotten kinda creepy looking the last couple years. His TV show is pretty darn funny especially the little fat kid. Whatever happened to his brother Emilio…cool name. I always thought that Emilio had it going on nabbing Paula Abdul back in the 80s when she was hot,,,seems very long ago. guess it is…bonus question…anyone know Charlies 1st movie roll?

Is referring to your kids’ mother as “whatsherface” instead of by name (or as I like to call her, Stanky Skanky) and then continuing to discuss her during a press interview honestly considered the high road? I can’t wait until the new wife’s post-divorce reality show premieres. I can’t believe how many people think Charlie is not to blame. He is ao abusive and horrible. All Denise did is write a 12 pg. Letter to the judge to protect her girls.She had no say if it were to go public or not. And she waited 2 years before she did that. I say that speak pretty highly of her, she kept the horrible truth in for 2 years just to protect Charlie.She would of been a bad Mom not to do that, after all he was looking at kiddie porn of girls not much older than his own. Not to mention the violence, the horrible name calling all infront of the girls. And she’s a skank cause she doesn’t want her girls around that unsupervised? He wanted her the abort both pregnancies. I remember when all of this started, she files for divorce after he threatened to kill her several times.
When everyone asked her why she was filing, she said
” Oh I cant do that to Charlie” she never said why until 2 years later, when she HAD to because she was protecting her girls’, she thought long and hard before she gave any of that info up, and even then it was done to the JUDGE not to the public, and it definitely wasn’t a bunch of mudslinging lies.
What she wrote was nothing new about Charlie, same old stuff he has been guilty of long before he ever met Denise. So why does everyone think shes a skank? HE is the one who always brings Denise’s name up. If you watch the interviews closely you will see that the interviewer actually brings Charlie’s name into the interview usually because CHARLIE goes out of his way to release an abusive public statement calling her a liar before each of her interviews. How classy is that, and the SHE gets called a skank???

Hes just going to go and do the same thing to Brooke. Thats what abusive guys do m they act like the perfect guy while dating , then as things move along they get married and have kids they become the monsters that they are.
