    team lowes!

  2. devilgirl says:

I think the skank was hoping that the Lowes would settle out of court, guilty or not, just to avoid the scandal. Many high profile, wealthy types opt for the quick pay-off even if they are innocent, to avoid a lengthy battle in the news and in the courts, which sometimes ends up costing more than the extortionists initial demands. It is sad that in this country, an innocent person spends more time, money and public humiliation defending themselves from their wrongful accusers than if they are guilty. It is people like this nanny that make a mockery of our judicial system, and make it harder for others who really do suffer these things to be taken seriously. Those who continually cry wolf, ruin it for those who are violated.

she got the idea from brothers and sister !!!

  4. geronimo says:

Agree with devilgirl. Gibson and Allred are nothing but opportunistic low life.

Cases like this with very dubious and questionable credibility from the start should never be made public. Allred on her own should have raised red flags all over the place. It’s the knock-on effect that’s really damaging – there will always be people out there now who’ll remember the accusation but not the actuality or the likely outcome of this case, and Rob Lowe’s reputation will have been compromised for absolutely no reason. Just wrong.

I think if Rob Lowe and his wife had done any of what they’ve been accused of doing they would have paid these two off to keep it quiet. If its all a pile of lies you’d be so outraged (1.5 million!!) that you’d fight like hell public or no public scandal. I’m inclined to believe the Lowe’s.

  6. devilgirl says:

Geronimo makes an excellent point. No matter how the whole thing plays out, the fact that the accusation was made, has forever damaged the Lowe’s reputation. No one will care when it is all said and done what the reality of it all is. The accusation has made a lot of people a lot of money so far and it will only continue to line the pocket books of the magazine publishers, entertainment shows, attorneys, paps and the con artist accusers. No matter what is uncovered down the road about the nanny accuser, she will still profit from her lies, the real losers are Rob Lowe, his wife and their children.

  7. RAN says:

Not that I’m trying to be contrary, but I’m not sure I agree that this has destroyed the Lowe’s reputation. I, for one, tend to believe the Lowe’s version. There are too many flaws in Gibson’s story and now there are far too many witnesses against her. Quite frankly, I’m disgusted by Gloria Allred – what a horrible woman. If you’re going to make yourself an advocate for women’s rights, taking a lame duck case like this and trying to win it on a ‘he said/she said’ philosophy, isn’t going to enhance the image at all.

  8. geronimo says:

No, you’re right, RAN, it hasn’t but the point I and devilgirl are making is that for SOME people – people who only pay passing attention to celebrities and scandals etc – a future mention of Rob Lowe will conjure up a ‘sleazy messin’ about with nanny’ Rob Lowe rather than an innocent ‘taken for a financial ride by a skanky nanny and an on-the-make apology for a lawyer’ Rob Lowe. The accusation still has legs, regardless of its veracity, which is what’s so damaging in cases like this.

  9. Syko says:

I agree with geronimo, but I think that with this one, most people knew she was lying. You don’t look that happy and pleased with yourself when you’re telling about this traumatic sexual molestation you endured.

The lawyer is horrible, she knows they are lying or she wouldn’t try to shush them up. She should be suspended or disbarred because she’s defrauding people too.

I remember when this first came out, everyone that posted on here believed the Lowes. Hopefully that will be true of the general public, although many will remember Rob’s younger antics and think it’s more of the same. The Lowes should be compensated, or at least a public apology made.

  10. Cinderella says:

I feel bad for believing this bitch in the first place.

I hope the Lowes squash her in court.

  11. Vibius says:

I really didn’t care till Gloria Allred joined the fray. Now I hope Lowe fights it.

  12. sassyspank says:

the photo at the top . . . does anyone else get the creeps?!?!? Also, I have to tell you, as someone who is very close to someone who went through a *real* experience involving sexual harassment . . . the LAST thing you want is national coverage. Yes, she wanted to make sure he was caught and reprimanded – but was absolutely MORTIFIED by the whole experience — this woman looks like she is relishing every mico-minute of fame that this is giving her, and it smells like someone desperate for attention. As a woman, and as someone who was there for a girlfriend who went through something infinitely worse – this behavior/reaction is suspicious to me. She could refuse media statements and be anonymous. This isn’t what she chose, is it? She wants money and media coverage. Terrible, because cases like these make it that much harder for women with legitimate cases to be taken seriously!!!!!

  13. Silly Lilly says:

I dunno they all seem crazy…. 200 would have ended this? The lowes must be pretty stupid then. Something is not right here.

  14. xiaoecho says:

That header picture of her is chilling – can’t you just see that look on her face as she poisons your food or stabs you in the neck? 😯

she’s got those scary scary psychopath eyes

  15. Because I say So says:

Sassyspank: I see your point… BUT… people react differently. I once counseled a young woman who didn’t believe her friend had been raped because she didn’t react the way she thought she should. It’s dangerous to assume that everyone will react the same way in similar situations. With that said, I think you are right, that this woman is definitely too full of herself and proud of what’s accomplished. I wouldn’t lump her into a sexually harassed group at all, but into the opportunistic, greedy self-involved kind.

  16. daisyfly says:

Am I the only one who got “Hand that rocks the cradle” flashbacks? 😯

  17. northwesterly says:

It’s shocking that anyone would wrongfully accuse their employer of sexual harrassment. It’s practically impossible to prove and prosecute a legitimate harrassment suite, takes years and further traumatizes and humiliates the female victim. It’s outrageous and I think indicates some probably serious mental health issues. πŸ˜•
