1. CiCi says:

The reality is – no matter how much someone says “I’m happy with myself and that’s all that matters,” it still hurts to read scrutiny and criticism and I feel bad for her.

I also disagree that she is the “spitting image” of Bruce – I see a lot of Demi in her too.

I think Rumer has an awesome body and beautiful eyes. I hope people move on from picking on her one day.

2. chrissy says:

if she would just get he nose made a bit bigger along with her lips it would balance her face out.

3. daisy424 says:

With all of the ‘work’ her Mother has had done, it’s refreshing to hear she has a better self image.
I think she looks alot like her Father with her Mother’s coloring.
She does have beautiful eyes, her best feature.

4. Lola says:

Rumer Rumer Rumer, you had better be content because you cannot change those looks. Everything just went wrong. Ask Tori Spelling, even plastic surgery could not help.

Question: Why are mentioning Katie Holmes? We get it Celebitchy, we get it…..

5. RReedy says:

The kid homely as all get out. Mom and Dad should have kept her in school…her looks aren’t bankable.

6. Syko says:

No, she’s not a conventional beauty, she’s not a beauty at all. Bruce’s face with Demi’s eyes. I would feel worse about knocking her if she didn’t have this great sense of entitlement and huge self esteem. Self esteem is a good thing until you get so much of it that you’re annoying. She’s there.

7. Jenna says:

I have found some pictures of her over the past couple of months when I thought she looked really good. I personally prefer her with the extensions, last I can remember. She does definatly have too much of her father’s features. But there is always plastic surgery 🙄

8. Natasha says:

Well, I guess I can just say I agree with her.. lol

9. kate says:

i think rumer is is kind of pretty in a quirky sort of way. at least she isn’t the same old tanorexic, bleached blonde with collagen lips and fake tits – yeah, brooke hogan, i’m talking to you.

10. Roma says:

@Syko – why would you say she has a sense of entitlement?

I spent time with her recently (long story) and she was one of the most laid back celebrities I’ve ever met. Perez first started a hate on for her and made fun of her looks at every opportunity.

Good for her for handling the negativity of people who have never met her. Confidence can make up for a lot where beauty lacks.

11. McKenna says:

Wow, some of you people are vicious. I wonder how you would measure up if you all had to post your pictures up here. I think she’s beautiful. She doesn’t look like Bruce at all. She looks like her mother, but with a longer face. I think she looks stunning in that picture on top.

12. Ginny says:

po-ta-to heaaad~

13. rose says:

I think she is kinda cute.

14. Anne says:

I think she’s lovely but not photogenic. Her skin and colouring are really lovely. She has a strong jaw and small features that don’t photograph well. I don’t sense a whole lot of entitlement from her but why is she on the red carpet so much? Does she want to act or model?

15. ri23 says:

@Ginny: Bad, but funny. 🙂

16. Larissa says:

well I think she should go for a longer hairstyle…
we all know what short haircuts does to our faces! they only bring up the worse of our features(unless ya have a very delicate, feminine face, or of course, ya´re a lesbo)…and couldn´t do any better to her!
So I think longer hair would do wonders to her! Seriously, lots and lots of hair!

17. Bodhi says:

I just hope she continues to feel the same way. Her mom set a horrible example for Rumer & her sisters & i hope they can break free of it.

lola, CB mentioned the Kat(i)e Cruise story because they are both about body image. Ya know, they have the same theme, so it is appropriate to link one to the other

18. Cassie says:

@ Chrissy: I totally agree, it’s not even like her jawline is bad, it’s just that her features don’t fill it out and that’s what makes it look like her head is huge when it really isn’t. Poor thing, as if she could help it, right? She definitely strongly resembles both of her parents though.

19. RhymesWithSilver says:

Honestly, if she wasn’t in Hollywood and surrounded by “perfect” people, no one would ever call this girl “homely”. Stick her on any college campus in America and there would be dudes calling her damn fine.

20. Alexis says:

That’s bullshit! What is she going to say, “I hate my jaw, I have a strange face”? She’s trying to ‘make it’ the industry. She’s homely the worst thing she could do is seem insecure. It’s too bad she hasn’t proven herself to be good at, well, anything really. If she did people would lay off of her a bit. Being famous for being famous is not a good move for her. She has to be likeable for something more then her parents amicable divorce for people to embrace her.

21. Tammy says:

I think, looking at her photo again, that the issue with her face is that she has no real “chin” just a curve of a jaw, she could have some contouring done and look a lot better, it just needs some shape around the chin. Her coloring is beautiful and her nose and mouth are kindof cute, its just that jaw line.

22. NHchicky says:

If her head wasn’t so tater shaped she’d probably look great! But the long drawn out horse chin I just can’t get past. lol And yes her eyes and nose are ok, but look way too small for the ginormous face she’s got.

23. kristin says:

Wow. A lot of the women on here are horrible. Tearing apart a girl for something she can’t control? Especially the women on here who are 50+ years old. Disgusting.

24. Ling says:

Kristin, I completely agree. How obsessive do you have to be to completely deconstruct somebody’s face? multiple times? You all are the perfect product of this society. (Unless you’re all plastic surgeons for whom this sort of dealings is second nature… not bloody likely.) Lay off her.

Ginny: The Potato head comment was not funny at all. It is overdone. Head over to Websters is my bitch and count the number of potato head references. Innumerable.

Two cents: I think the best actresses need a point of interest on their face. Rumer has definite potential.

25. vdantev says:

That damned Willis jawline, poor kid. 🙁

26. jinx says:

I respect that she is not living in denial, and that she is a very happy person. That says lot about how she was raised – and in the end beauty fades, she’ll always have a inner confidence and happiness that no one can take away from her.

Considering that both her parents are exceptionally beautiful, they should be commended on how they raised their daughters – being happy is really the true key to life.

27. Anni says:

is she supposed to be pretty cos she´s demi´s daughter? or because she´s the kid of celebrities? i don´t get it. why is everyone disappointed that she isn´t that stunning?

i think she´s pretty in her own way. perfect features or not. i really like her eyes and skin and body. and i think the way she carries herself makes her more beautiful than all those other popular beauties.

28. Anne says:

I agree with Kristin. How old are those who are so mean?

I understand why people might resent the free ride to fame and wealth she’s taken advantage of – if you are insecure and unhappy to begin with.

But, what has she done wrong really? She’s not like PH, who has been dancing on tables since she was 12 and has done and said abhorant things over and over.

29. McKenna says:

Agree with Kristing and Ling. Disgusting that there are 50 year-old tearing apart a beautiful 19 year-old. Pathetic.

30. MISSY says:

Guess what? If her mom and dad were not famous actors, she would not have a chance in hell. She is not cute at all, so lets see if her talent can be her saving grace, good luck

31. Jaundice Machine says:

I think she’s pretty BECAUSE she looks unconventional. The attitude goes a long way, as well – if you’re sassy and carry yourself well, it’ll show. Although I don’t think she’ll be know for anything beyond the being the spawn of two celebrities and subsequent spokeswhore for mediocre clubs and products.

On a side note, how does one italicise on this site? Whenever I want to emphasize a word, I end up shouting. . .

32. Diva says:

I think she’s pretty.

And we’ve yet to see if she has talent, so it may be perfectly acceptable entitlement, if that’s what the free parentage pass is. She did a good job in Striptease!

I’d rather look like Rumer Willis than Paris Hilton.

I do the same thing Jaundice… I don’t consider it yelling when it’s just one or two words capitalized, though, lol, it’s EMPHASIZING! 🙂

33. Judy says:

She could get that jaw fixed instead of looking like a boxre on a bad day. SHe has great skin and eyes. Her mother had her jaw fixed and that is where she got tht jaw. If you look at Demis younger pictures she also had that jaw and had surgery on it. This kid shoud do the same.

34. journey says:

i have the feeling that right from the get-go daddy bruce raised his little girl to ignore the stupid catty comments from the “ain’t-got-nothin’-better-to-do crowd”.

and who knows what talents the girl may have that we just don’t know about. she may write poetry, paint, or just be a really decent human being who is a good friend, good daughter, and good sister.

and far better to be a unique beauty with people who love her than one of the too-much-plastic-surgery, too-much-botox, too-little intelligence and way-too-much-vanity bimbos that are so prevalent in hollywood.

besides, you be mean to his little girl and daddy bruce may just come and kick your *ss. 😉

35. daisyfly says:

She’s not a conventional beauty. That’s a given. But I personally find intelligence far more beautiful and worthwhile.

36. Sandra says:

I think all three girls are quite unattractive physically. For some reason, i think she will come to be quite talented

37. Nan says:

She’s really odd looking and so is Tori Spelling. I don’t think that people are being mean and catty when dissecting her looks. People are simply saying that if you want to be in the public spotlight and in the ‘business’ you should be at least attractive. Tori and Rumer are neither and they are using their parents’ connections. They are taking away from someone else who truly deserves their place because they are attractive and talented. Summing up, they are cheating another actor and cheating US.

38. k says:

Agree with Kristen and Ling and all who agreed with them.
Also @ Larissa
“they only bring up the worse of our features(unless ya have a very delicate, feminine face, or of course, ya´re a lesbo)”

You sound like an asshole there, but maybe some people are ok with saying ‘lesbo’ and insinuating it’s ok to look like shit if you’re gay, since short hair always looks bad, and lesbians don’t *always* have delicate features. I’m offended, but that’s just one non-hetero opinion.

39. Jean says:

If she’s an aspiring actress, her parents did her a disservice by not insisting that she first study theatre in college a la Meryl Streep (a great actress who’s not a conventional beauty). This is the only way she’ll gain any credibility. If she just wants to ride her parents’ coattails into show business, I’m afraid she’ll fail miserably. She hasn’t the looks or sex appeal required to be a pop tart.

40. Diva says:

So, Nan, only beautiful people can be actors, huh?

41. Mairead says:

pssst Jaundice – write before the word and after. If you want to bold a word it’s before and after. You can’t underline however. (without the spaces in the )

I think she’ll probably “grow into” her features – peoples faces tend to keep developing into their 20s. And I must say I admire her confidence.

Amanda Byram (who presented The Swan and other programmes) has said that since moving to Hollywood she’s far more self-critical of her looks and when she’s back visiting friends and family, they notice how down on herself she’s becoming.

And this is a grown woman, well into her 30s who’s had a decent amount of success at everything she’s done – and she’s become as insecure as a schoolgirl. Very sad.

42. Anastasia says:

Honestly I’d rather look a bit different than just blend in with all the other complete copies out there.

And I do think she has the type of looks you have to grow into. Isn’t she really really young? As we all know, our faces change quite a bit as we age, and not always in bad ways. The girl who was considered the ugly duckling in my high school turned out to be a drop-dead gorgeous woman, she just had to mature into her looks a bit.

43. Zoe says:

I don’t know, I was, rather aghast at her face when I first saw her as a young woman, but now her face has kinda grown on me. It does give her character and probably keeps her grounded. Everyone is starting to look exactly alike and it’s pretty boring really.

44. Cletus says:

the bad thing is everyone is right. It IS mean to pick this child apart, but also….. what they are saying is true. She IS homely. The only reason she’s even mentioned on this (or any other) site is because of her parents. If she was Martha and Irving Baumgartner’s kid from Bung Hole, Arkansas, she and her jaw would not be anything to talk about. Period. She hasn’t done anything noteworthy except for come out of Demi Moore’s cooter. Maybe that will change, maybe it won’t. I hope she does go back to school, in case her parental ties aren’t enough to get her any work in Hollywood. It’s not like she’s pretty enough to just get by on that, RIGHT, JESSICA ALBA? So she had better have some big, fat talent or at least learn to type or something. I’m just saying. 😐

45. Whitey Fisk says:

I’ve always thought she should be tested for mumps.

As an aside, I wonder why anyone would peruse a gossip site (entitled CeleBitchy, no less) if he or she had no interest in “deconstructing” the image some people actively and willfully present for inspection? Tater’s job (literally) is to put on a show for us to critique. When she becomes a teacher or pilot or waitress (or is otherwise off In Touch’s payroll), I’ll lay off.

Rock on, Tater McMumpy!!!

46. RaraAvis says:

Tater, the problem is that you think you’re going to be a star. The truth is that you’re not photogenic enough to make it on the screen. For god’s sake, take some of your parents’ money, go to college and get a real life.

47. Sass says:

She looks like Winona Ryder on steroids but she has a supportive family with butt loads of money and opportunities. She shouldn’t complain. She got into the family business and if she has god given talent and it proves true, she’ll be fine.

48. Sam says:

EEEEWWWW!! Is she part alien???

49. rachael says:

ok let’s all be honest here & stop w/all this nice bullshit…she is one of the ugliest ppl on the planet..it hurts me to even look at her…she reaally should just jump into a botomless pit which would help the rest of us from seeing that ass oh I mean face

50. Jaundice Machine says:

Yeah Mairead, I think it’s just because I’m stupie . . . but I have no idea what you’re saying as far as italics.

I mean, I’m familiar with most forum decorum as far as emphaizes are concerned ( word ) . . .
But for whatever reason, I can’t execute basic text commands in this forum. Can someone give me a “Celebitchy for Dummies” tutorial? Because I hate to feel so woefully inept . . .

51. gracie says:

Attention all Haters:

Please send in an 8×10 glossy of your face. We want to do a feature article on you so all can write in and criticize you from every angle.

No feelings will be spared.

If we think you’re ugly we’ll make suggestions like you should live the rest of your life in a cave and cool stuff like that.

Sound like fun?

52. geronimo says:

Agree with Rhymeswith..
In any other context, outside of Hollywood celebrity hell, she’s as attractive as anyone else. Beautiful eyes, coloring and skin. Some of the comments on here are just grim.

Jaundice – I don’t know how to do this either so shove over on the dumb bench. I’m used to etc

Mairead or anyone else – step-by-step idiot guide please.

53. JD says:

I would agree if she left the word conventional out.

54. snarkyorchid says:

I’m not buying any of this. When I saw her in the “People’s most beautiful” issue I wondered what favors her beauty obsessed/plastic surgery addict/doll collecting freak of a mother had to pull in. Please give these kids something to aspire to other than being a MILF!

55. V says:

I don’t know what everyone is talking about. She is beautiful! I think she’s amazingly gorgeous and people are far too critical. We $hit on them for having plastic surgery and eating disorders then we $hit on them for not being perfect. And then we wonder why they end up in rehab for drugs and anorexia.

56. Mairead says:

on writing italics or in bold..

I’m sorry. I actually did write a a step by step, but everytime I saved it, it seemed fine and when I went back it had changed.

Basically most of you guys know about the business.

Well normally to italicise a word or phrase you can type before the words you want italicised and type at the end.

Here, replace the brackets with the sideways arrows symbols…. I’m sorry, but no matter what I do, they don’t show up when I post.

If you want to write something in bold

replace the brackets in and with the arrow symbols

I’m using a Mac and the symbols I’m talking about are beside the “M” if that helps 😉

57. Nickynoneck says:

She’s not that bad looking if you saw her on the street walking by and not knowing her as rumer willis you would think shes good looking .

Its funny the tabloid writers can write all they want and judge everyone but you never see them , they hide behind there desks and computers.

there prob over weight fugly people with bad skin because all the eat is donuts and drink coffee .

58. geronimo says:

Mairead, you mean the ‘greater than’ and ‘less than’ symbols as used in hypertext (which is probably why they won’t appear in the ‘saved’ comment as they’re code.) Possibly someone else knows how to make them appear for demo purposes.

*Tries it out*… TESTING

It works! I have the power!! Expect lots of emphasis from me from now on. Thanks hon! 😀

59. sauvage says:

People, I don’t get you.
So being confident with just being herself is terrible? And still having the face she was born with just makes her plain stupid?
So basically you are saying she OUGHT to have plastic surgery, otherwise shame on her? You are sick. Go look in the mirror yourselves.
To me, she looks cute. She just doesn’t look operated on, which I, for a change, find rather refreshing. What’s so great about looking like plastic, anyway?

60. Jaundice Machine says:

sweet

61. gg says:

re commenters, she is NOT homely or ugly or anything even close. She’s beautiful in her own right. Good thing all of us aren’t being scrutinized for the faces we were born with.

It’s one thing dishing on somebody’s horrific dress sense, fake tan, overdone teeth, bad weaves, etc., but Rumer seems like a sweet girl and I think she’s cute.

62. Aaron says:

First of all, people need to cut the kid a break. We have no idea how talented or otherwise she might be. She’s still just a kid. Secondly, I happen to think she is attractive. She’s not your conventional Hollywood beauty and I think that’s why I like her. If I see another Pam Anderson clone I think I’m going to barf. And finally, anyone who uses that stupid lol acronym should be clubbed over the head like a baby seal.

63. appleydapply says:

She supposedly did have chin and jaw surgery last year or perhaps earlier.

64. fiercerd says:

I don’t understand what the issue is here? Why are others spouting solutions where there is no problem? Rumer is not conventional looking…thank god for that.
If she wants to be in the public eye and work in the industry kudos to her. The problem lies in the sad fact that there are so many brainwashed, ignorant people out there that believe you need to look a certain way to make it. I am not denying this fact but I wonder what would happen if we, as women and a society, chose to look beyond what is being fed to us as “beauty” and decided to define beauty for ourselves. We won’t get anywhere near that as long as we continue denigrating our own sex because of something as superficial as not fitting into a certain mold that has been perpetuated and fed to us throughout our lives through magazines, TV and movies. That will not change until we decide to open our eyes and celebrate beauty in all its forms, especially the unconventional ones.

65. xana says:

If they ever need elves for a Lord of the Rings re-make she’s a perfect fit!

66. G. says:

She not a typical hollywood beauty, but that doesn’t make her ugly. Her eyes are completely stunning.

67. Lizzie says:

She’s got beautiful eyes.

68. Rumer is not beautiful at all.

My apologies to her fans, but I find her very unattractive. She just has famous parents, that’s the only reason she gets publicity.

69. Sherri says:

My hat is off to Rumer. She is an outstanding role model for young women. She shows contentment with how she looks, which is almost unheard of in the famous world. Ok, so she has her father’s chin. Remember Jennifer Grey and her big nose? She got rid of it and she was basically ignored and forgotten after that.
She is happy with herself, and that is the best of kind beauty of all!

70. Jay says:

Don’t know if anyone here already said this, but I’d do her.

71. Lorie says:

You haters are horrible! She’s beautiful just the way she is and for all of you who expect everyone to fit in the generic-face category, look at yourselves in the mirror and I’m sure you’ll see you don’t have all the perfect features either! Considering how her mother is a bad example for her, I think this woman has a great BEAUTIFUL head on her shoulders.

72. Audrey says:

It doesn’t really matter what she looks like. Uma has a unique nose, Tilda Swinton has never been known for her beauty… The problem is that she HASN’T ACCOMPLISHED A THING YET! She’s NOT a good role model… how can anyone say that? I understand Natalie Portman, Ellen Page or Scarlet Johanson BUT HER? Earn your film and television gigs instead of riding your parents’ coat tails! Get off the red carpet and go to acting school to work on your craft!!

73. FH says:

Beauty comes in all forms and shapes. it is not linear, it is rather spherical.
I think she is Beautiful! She is mature, strong and has good role models around her. She is going do well in life!
Beauty is in everyone of us because we come from the same source. We each just need to find what works for us, and that is different from one individual to another.

74. muddymom says:

I just saw her on the new 90210 tonight, and she looked great! It was pleasant to see an actress without collagen lips, fake boobs, etc. I hope she’ll be a regular character on the show.

75. Maltez says:

Impressive efforts, and quite comprehensive. Makes you seem trustworthy, which is hard to come by these days.

Real Internet Income With Your Own Domain Name. 100% Free.

76. Of all the money making methods online, I prefer surveys. You don’t have to deal with starting a blog which which ends up being more of a pain. It depends on how much effort you put into it you can probably reach a couple hundred pretty fast.

77. The Loc69 says:

I’ll still hit it. Hell no she aint pretty but in most cases ,chicks that aren’t pretty are the biggest freaks in the sack, and besides..she has money.

78. Asstan Butcher says:

I’m telling you guys, after a couple of drinks, she ain’t bad-looking.

79. Mymansanddem says:

For your info, should you folks are looking to conduct online surveys for absolutely free software then My partner and I can certainly recommend – Free stuff for surveys

80. GG says:

Please. She’s beautiful – even “conventionally” beautiful – and probably better-looking than 99.9 percent of people commenting on this blog.

Not that any of this shit actually matters. We’re all going to be old someday, then dead (sorry to be dark), and attitudes – like Rumer Willis’ self acceptance – are the only thing that will have made a difference.
