Michael Lohan has repeatedly spoken to the press recently about what a bad influence Samatha Ronson is on his daughter, Lindsay, despite the fact that Lindsay has only seemed to clean up under Sam’s influence. Lindsay’s dad is an ex con who served a nearly three years in prison out of a four year sentence for multiple charges including assault and DUI. He was released from Collins Correctional Facility outside of Buffalo, NY in March of 2007.
Lindsay’s demons are at bay and she’s in a seemingly healthy and devoted relationship with another woman – the first relationship she’s had in years that seems to be stable. Her dad can only keep talking about how much he worries for Lindsay, though, using various shifting reasons that include the booze she’s supposedly drinking despite the lack of evidence, the antidepressants she might be on, and Sam’s plans for an autobiography.
Yesterday both Sam and Lindsay struck back at her dad with entries on their myspace blogs, saying he’s a “public embarassment and a bully” who is addicted to fame and using them to get publicity.
Michael Lohan’s father just died, and he’s using his father’s death as another chance to publicly bad mouth his ex wife. The first part of his statement is acceptable enough, he says his dad died and he hopes his wife and kids come to the funeral. That’s understandable and you would expect him to say that. He might even garner some sympathy for it if he could leave well enough alone. But no, he has to bring his point home with more obnoxious digs at Dina that show he’s more concerned with his personal vendetta than his father’s death.
Michael tells OK!, “My father just, literally, died in my arms. I notified all my kids and my lawyer notified Dina’s attorney. Let’s see if she has the decency and respect to bring my kids to the wake and funeral.”
He continues, “THIS will show her true colors! Thus, not even a call. But that’s par for the course with Dina! She didn’t even send a card or visit when he was sick.”

What an ass this guy is! If Dina and the kids don’t show up at the funeral, can you blame them given the way he’s acting? No wonder Lindsay has cut him out of her life. He’s toxic and he wants to continue dragging his family down with him. Lindsay deserves some recognition for rising above the very dysfunctional family she must have grown up in and finding a partner who supports and loves her. I doubt she’s drinking again, but if she is she’s doing it moderately because you haven’t seen one photo of her looking wasted or even hungover in the past few months.

I can’t stand him — Lindsay was such a cute child star with a bright future ahead of her. Her parents have done everything they could to mess up that future for her. They should have had their kids taken away from them a long time ago.

At every turn Michael Lohan has done nothing but prove that the only “parasite” in Lindsay’s life is Michael himself. His father passes away and his first thought is to call OK magazine and rant about Dina… this truly shows how warped his own morals are.
Michael always talks about how good a Christian he is and all the wonderful things he is doing in his life, yet at every turn he debases all the good he is supposedly doing by publicly airing his dirty laundry.

You know, I dispise this guy so much, he’s starting to rival Tom Brady in my “irrational dislike” areas.

I read his response to Lindsay and Sam’s MySpace pages–it isn’t on here, but he sounded like a complete whack job, ranting: “I’m out of control? I’m out of control? I go to church! I help people in rehab! And I’m out of control?”
He then goes on to say how it’s all Dina’s fault because SHE is the one who expressed concern about Sam’s influence on Lindsay. And it’s Sam’s fault for using Lindsay. And it’s Lindsay’s fault for…who the heck knows.
It really, really bugs me how he points out that he goes to Church. As if his ass in a pew makes him a good person.
Al Capone went to Mass almost every Sunday, went to Confession regularly and gave lots of money to his local parish–it didn’t make him one iota less a law-breaking, money-laundering murderer!
You go to Church to be humble before God NOT smug and self-rightous towards other people. And donating time to help people just so you can applaud yourself and say to the world “Look what I’m doing!” means you are only helping YOURSELF.
This guy is a loser and a hypocrite who basically has no other claim to fame except being Lindsay Lohan’s father, and has used that to get himself a job, and a voice in the media, etc., then turns on her in public to fill his own agenda.
At least Dina is ALWAYS on Lindsay’s side in public. She knows perfectly well who has made her good life possible.

He’s a criminal with mental and addiction problems, he’s done more damage to his family than anyone, and continues to make money on them by associating with OK! Magazine.
I propose that a boycott of OK! take place, complain that you want the magazine out of your Dr’s office, hell the entire clinic, that you find it offensive. The same for the food store you shop at, tell them you will go elsewhere. If even a few people do this, and it catches on OK! Will not keep this horrible nobody around – who is using payment from OK! and thus his poor daughter, who is trying to save what career she has left, for a living. He can’t even get a real job, he has to live on the crumbs of his addict childs’ life.
You don’t subject children to an abusive parent, even if it is at the funeral of a beloved grandparent. That would be a horrible thing to do. I hope they don’t attend the funeral for their own good.
Jinxy: does OK have a website? You could leave a direct message there that you will never buy their magazine again. That might be even faster than a silent boycott (although hitting them at their bottom line is always a good attention getter!)

😆 You’re cracking my ass UP, Geronimo!! That was me yesterday, I really REALly wanted to lay into J. Seinfeld, but I also wanted to say, maybe his wife’s a plageriser but she’s got excellent taste in dresses – I loved the way she looked in that header pic. She looked awesome, hair, dress, all of it.
Oh, and Czarina & Jinxy, that’s a great idea about going to OK’s website and filling the place with complaints re. this criminal bastard Lohan, and silent-boycotting the magazine, too.
