I doubt the Enquirer has it right. I’ve seen Hamm in interviews and he seems like a guy who just got a winning lottery ticket – surprised, happy and grateful.

I’m obsessed with Mad Men – Hamm is the star, but it *is* more of an ensemble than a typical star-driven drama. If Hamm really was that much of a diva, the show could get rid of him and still be great.

BS on Enquirer. I love this show. Great characters and fantastic writing. I just have such a hard time with his infidelities… they really do such an amazing job at drawing you into their world.

Awesome show, and it’s free OnDemand in HD on comcast, so you really can’t go wrong.

Diva or no diva, still divine. And I doubt this story too, those who come lateish to fame and success are usually very grounded people.

  4. Jinxy says:

I agree, he’s universally liked by the actors who work with him day to day. It must be a slow week for NatEnq. That show is just superb, everything about it is great.

I have a little insight into the Regis thing. Joy is a big fan of Mad Men, so Regis set up a dinner for Joy to meet Don. The dinner went well and Joy was thrilled. Then the interview on Kimmel came along and he was not exactly flattering toward Regis and Joy. It really hurt Joy’s feelings and pissed Regis off. Not a good thing. I am guessing that he will be shut out of Regis and other shows for this. If there is one thing I have learned in Hollywood, after get it in writing, it’s don’t publicly speak ill of someone, unless you never want to work with them again. I mean look at Katherine Heigl and the writers of Greys. She won the Emmy last year and would have presented the Best Supporting Actor award this year, but the Emmy’s didn’t even invite her to attend after her dissing the writer’s of her show. Do it privately.

I love this show and I love this guy. He is so handsome! I don’t know anything about this story, but I did see the Kimmel interview. I really didn’t think he said anything all that unflattering.

I would be surprised if he doesn’t find himself a younger, prettier girlfriend with his newfound success.
