Duchess Kate’s $99 Zara dress & Ralph Lauren jacket: cute or too “college girl”?

These are new photos of Duchess Kate last night in London, where she and her husband attended a show at the Royal Albert Hall. The dress is Zara ($99), the jacket is Ralph Lauren. I will make no mention of The Button Problem, because although the buttons are noticeable on the jacket, I think Kate is attempting to contain The Problem. I actually think the dress and the jacket are very cute, it’s the black hose and fug shoes that kind of ruin the look for me – this seems like an outfit a 20-year-old girl would wear when her parents visit her at college and take her out to dinner. Right? According to Us Weekly, Kate “did little to squash pregnancy rumors” because she held her little clutch in front of her womb, thus “hiding” the alleged bump. Kate does look slightly less emaciated.

Meanwhile, Kate will soon be enjoying her first Christmas as a member of the Royal Family. What does a Royal Family Christmas entail? Well, it’s sort of like joining a cult in that you pretty much have to disavow your family and never spend another holiday with them, ever, because the Royal Family does not spend holidays with commoners, EVER. But William actually likes Kate’s family, and so he’s trying to bring a new tradition to the family – Pippa will be “allowed” near the royal family – but only on the day after Christmas. And in the week after Christmas, Will and Kate will go and stay with her parents. Compromise?

Pippa Middleton has been invited to join the Royal Family’s Christmas gathering at Sandringham. In a highly unusual move, she has been asked to take part in the traditional Boxing Day pheasant shoot – which is normally restricted to members of the Royal Family and their spouses.

This Christmas will be the Duchess of Cambridge’s first at the Norfolk estate with the Queen, and the idea is that asking Kate’s sister along on Boxing Day will help her feel more at home. Pippa, 28, who recently split with banker Alex Loudon, 31, is an expert shot and is apparently keen to join the festivities.

A source says: ‘Kate will of course miss her family on Christmas Day – she has traditionally spent it with them. She wants Pippa to join her at Sandringham on Boxing Day because it will make being apart from her family at Christmas a little easier. Pippa’s very keen to go and she’s been on a couple of shooting weekends to make sure she won’t let the side down.’

‘She gets on very well with William and Harry, and the Duke of Edinburgh has a soft spot for her. It’s unusual for non-family members to receive an invitation, but William wants Kate to feel comfortable and he knows having her sister there will mean a great deal to her. There are talks about Pippa going to America early in the New Year to discuss her book, and she’s currently organising her social diary, but she’s very much hoping to go to Sandringham.’

When the Royal couple got engaged last year, Prince William, 29, spoke fondly of his relationship with Kate’s family. He has already treated the Middletons to several shooting weekends at his father’s retreat near Balmoral.

The Queen also made the unprecedented move of inviting Carole Middleton to Royal Ascot in June and Kate’s mother arrived in the Royal carriage procession.

A senior Palace aide last night confirmed that the Duke and Duchess would be at Sandringham but said that any other invitees were private guests of the Queen.

[From The Mail]

So Kate will spend Christmas Day listen to the corgis yap and trying to breathe through her mouth through the stench of royal eggnog farts, but on the 26th, she and Pippa get to play with guns, huzzah! You know what I’m thinking? Pippa and Harry get drunk together after “the hunt” and something goes down, and it’s dirty and hot. Pippa and Harry wouldn’t last for longer than a night, but it would be a fun night.

I vote for college girl. She does not look like she’s going to the RAH at all, instead it’s just another night-out for her. Also that dress is too short.

She really doesn’t know how to dress appropriately. What a pity.

    • Alexis says:

I like that she’s wearing Zara and RL! Normal people clothing. To the extent she looks like she’s wearing college girl swag, I think that’s more her hair/makeup/bearing than a problem with the clothing or brands. – also the dress fits awkwardly on her because she’s tall!! Head to Banana Republic, Kate – they have a tall line! Don’t impugn the stores or the practice or buying stuff British taxpayers can actually afford her to wear!

Also, it looks like she’s gained a little weight and it looks good on her. Maybe it’s because she’s preggers, but…somehow I doubt that.

      • iseepinkelefants says:

I love Ralph Lauren (RL and JCrew are my staples and go tos), but let’s not kid ourselves Ralph Lauren is not cheap or affordable. I work for the RL department at Macy’s and on my student budget I can barely afford the clothes (and that’s with my discount and the sales we have). Lauren (the green label), is the cheaper one but even then it’s priced at around $100. Black, Purple, Blue and Collection are not within “normal people’s” budgets. When I worked at Ralph Lauren (Green is not carried in the store by the way), only the uber wealthy would come in. Not everyone can afford a $1k coat or $12k handbag. Even at Macy’s (or the one I work at), only the wealthier woman (those that don’t mind spending $109 on a sweater or $50 on a t-shirt) buy it.

  2. Ceeber says:

Should I not be wearing black stockings with my dresses?

  3. Luise says:

She looks great but her skirt is a little too short for the future queen of England.

  4. Lynnie says:

With a couple more inches on the skirt and some heeled boots, it would have worked really great. She doesn’t look bad, but something different would have been a hair better. I think she’s doing OK. 🙂

  5. Anonymous says:

I have no respect for anyone who hunts.

  6. Bite me says:

    She looks fine

  7. Annie says:

She looks to have put on a few pounds since her wedding. I don’t care why, but I’m glad she has, she was looking scary skinny for a while there.

  8. sosuzy says:

Skirt too short and unsophisticated for someone of her stature and position… “cutesy” should be over now for her. It looks silly…

  9. Christine says:

That skirt is too short for anyone over 22. And you know why Prince Philip had a soft spot for Pippa? He’s a old player – and knows Pippa is impressed by titles!

  10. Tiffany S says:

i don’t think she looks vulgar at all but the ensemble looks a little cheap to me…i dunno about “college girl”…are college girls THAT well dressed? the majority of the ones i know wear Forever21..I’m a “working girl” living in Paris and I just bought some lovely things at Zara yesterday… Anyway, she can do no wrong in my eyes, i love her (in that irrational “i-don’t-know-that-celeb-but-i’ve-somehow-convinced-myself-that-in-an-alternate-universe-we’d-be-friends” kind of way) and think she looks great. plus, i would do unspeakable things to have hair like that.

    • Mari says:

      Absolutely!

    • Kara Ann says:

Just want to say that I adore the refreshing honesty of your comment! It gave me a genuine “isn’t that sweet” heartfelt smile.

I like Kate too. So far, she hasn’t given me any reason not to.

    • Hmmm says:

You raise an interesting question. Where are Waity’s girlfriends? Does she have any?

  11. MissVJJ says:

She looks very cute. I dont think you CB folks like her in anything she wears. Or anything she does, for that matter.

    • Lynnie says:

Exactly. I don’t get all of the Kate Hate.

      • Isa says:

you know why some people dnt like her? because she did nothing but waiting for the guy to propose for almost a decade!!! She did not work (I mean real work not the “im working for my parents” typical answer). She loves hunting and killing animals for fun and whats worse its that almost a year later and still did not pick any charity to start working on!
She only palys with her hair, eyeliner and dresses…but what else she has to offer?? Can somebody answer this?
Girl, why you dont search on the net about why people in UK call/ed her Waity Kaity previous her wedding. There you will find your answer. Not all the world falls for this “little girl”.

    • GoodCapon says:

Have you two ever heard of her before she married Wills and got the whitewash treatment?

    • Tierra says:

^^^^This is true. she cant, doesn’t and hasn’t done anything right from the time she met William according to this blog.
Dont get me wrong I love this site, its my daily staple, but they are harsh on her for some reason.
I think she looks great, I love this couple.

      • diana says:

MissJJ and Lynnie: I’m sure you two don’t support a royal family from your paycheck!

      • Mare says:

diana: how many pounds goes to the royal family from your paycheck? I will send it to you just to see if you will then write positive about Kate 🙂

    • diana says:

Mare: in my eyes you display a typical stalker behavior! it really freaks me out! keep your money go hunt someone else who doesn’t like Kate, ok?

      • MissVJJ says:

Well I certainly dont, but there’s a lot of people my money does support, and I dont bash their every move for it. My bf is English, and he said that when the royal wedding took place, the streets of London was closed off and everyone celebrated. Everyone having a good time, lots of live music everywhere. So I guess its just you bitter that a young, beautiful girl married into this family.

      • diana says:

What a simplistic and poorly documented comment.

        PS: England dis-likes her.

      • SamiHami says:

Gee! You speak for an entire country? How amazing!

I think what you meant to say was that you dislike her and therefore you assume that everyone in England dislikes her, because you can’t conceive that anyone might think differently than you.

  12. theaPie says:

I think she looks cute. And it’s nice to see she knows how to exit a car when the paps are going for a crotch shot.

    • diana says:

Don’t know what you are referring to when you say she got out of the car graciously. Check DM pictures! Seriously?

    • Anguishedcorn says:

That’s not how my mother taught me to exit a car in a short dress; I would think Kate would know the knees-together rule.

  13. Jaded says:

I think they’re both trying to maintain a less “stuffy”, more casual demeanor, that’s all. They really are making an effort to not look like they’re wasting tons of money on frivolous crap or for Kate to instantly become the fashion darling of the universe that Diana became. So while Kate is no fashionista, is that really her role or is it to play down the idiotic amount of money the royal family takes in and spends to maintain their lifestyle.

  14. constance says:

I may not give a fart about this royal family and living off the people in extravagance.

I do however like that Kate wants to be a British Chola. Those huge black eye brows and the raccoon eye liner!

You Go GURL! You just get comfy in a flannel shirt, hand me the Sharpie, and then we’ll add some more volume to your hair!

    • lin234 says:

LOL! Thanks for the laugh. British Chola. hahahaha

I’m a lot more fascinated by Will’s hair. I think he definitely got some implants while he was supposed to be away training/working whatever.

      • BabySwans says:

Pretty sure you’d have to shave her eyebrows off and draw them on in a a very thin black line for her to be a chola. You’d also have to wet her hair down and add a ton of gel to make it look “wet”. Just sayin’…

    • heebeegeebee says:

This is in poor taste. She is respectable and dresses beautifully. She has immaculate grooming. I don’t know her, or have any associations with her, but simply love how she dresses – tastefully.

  15. diana says:

I am amazed how little people need to hate or love someone.

For me Kate will always be mediocre. She is an average looking woman at her best. None of us would even notice her if she were to work in an office with us, never mind notice her in a street crowd.

I think she is lazy, has doesn’t know what to wear when to wear. At Calgary airport she embarrassed by wearing that stupid dress that showed her butt to the world. She hasn’t learn her lesson. This time she wears something similar. She was struggling again to keep her skirt down. My as$ she’s pregnant. Not!

She and Will looks so dated!

She starts to have a blush problem to the eyeliner problem.

She doesn’t look emaciated? yeah right! just search for DM pictures and look at those legs.

And her 100$ dress….whatever! The woman spends so much money on herself and still looks like shi* to me.

    • Kellie says:

Agree, she always looks exactly the same no matter what she wears. I think whats really sad about her is that she will never rise to the full position of her title. She wont make waves. She has the potential to truly insight change but she wont do it. It doesnt matter that she’s married to Wills or if she gives him 10 babies; her position is precarious because she’s not royal by blood. She will forever be exactly what we see today, nothing more, nothing less.

    • JulieM says:

Agreed, Diana. Why posters feel the need to defend this do nothing non entity, I cannot figure out. She has done nothing in the past six years (since uni graduation) to earn an ounce of respect. All she has done is bag a rich prince. She is clearly in over her head.

As for the outfit, juvenile to go with her teenager hair. She certainly can look very nice. Some of her Canada outfits were lovely. But this, ordinary. Like she is.

Guess we never would notice her working in an office because she never did!

    • OMSS says:

@diana, LOL! You are right, it is funny how little it takes to make people hate or love someone… If you don’t like her, keep it moving- don’t write a 100 words or so about her… For 60 pence or so a year I’m not fussed- I imagine they will eventually cancel themselves out within my generation’s lifetime.

She looks decent. It’s not ‘too college girl’, just… IDK. It’s an okay look.

      • diana says:

I hope these two do cancel themselves out in my life time! I do respect and admire the Queen though! And I wished I would get to vote who would be our next king/queen. Anne for sure would get my vote!

Funny you say move on if you don’t like her! Ha! If you don’t like my comment, keep it moving girl!

      • OMSS says:

@diana, I just find it weird that some people spend time and make an effort to spout negativity about someone they supposedly hate/dislike to that degree a little odd. If I hated someone (I don’t hate you or your comments by the way, I don’t know you) I wouldn’t waste any of my time on them. That’s just me, though. 😀

  16. Suze says:

She looks fine here. Not wildly exciting, but fine. She’ll never be wildly exciting, she can’t in her role and I think she’s comfortable with it.

I like the black tights – I’ve seen them work well on women far older than Kate.

Pregnancy rumors will swirl around her until she’s 45. Chicka better get used to it.

  17. HoustonGrl says:

Kate’s really leading an empty life at this point, standing next to William like a pull-string toy. Boring. Sorry, but this dress looks like the wallpaper my grandma had in her bedroom back in the 80s, and it was already outdated by then!

Oh, and I have no respect for anyone that hunts.

  18. nicole says:

I am on pregnancy watch so always looking for signs….

Am I the only one who noticed that, in every picture, her purse is in front of her stomach?? Doesn’t she typically hold purses in one hand at her side? 😉

    • Miladie29 says:

May I ask why are you on pregnancy watch? Is this some kind of goal you must achieve?

I’ve never heard of any sane person being on pregnancy watch over another woman. It sounds ridiculous and even creepy for someone to be just waiting and waiting for another woman to announce a pregnancy and would always be “on the watch for signs”.

And no, I don’t think she’s pregnant. I hope she’s not pregnant and she doesn’t get pregnant until 2013. She still has to put in some time into working as a royal. Working must be like her own Boggart from Harry Potter: the thing she fears most.

She’s proving to be a huge dud as a royal that pregnancy will probably be the only thing that would make her of any ‘use’ right now.

If only she were just an ordinary woman whose expensive lifestyle doesn’t have to be supported by the likes of me as part of the taxpaying public.

  19. SEF says:

She looks cute. And those legs – wow.

  20. Miladie29 says:

Dull and boring. Dress is too short. She looked out of place next to the other well-dressed guests. Even matronly Camilla looked better dressed than her.

I don’t know why there are still some people who put this lazy, do-nothing woman on the pedestal and call her stylish. She’s not. Her style is just like every other Sloane St. girl who dresses in high street, not high fashion, clothing.

I’m all for going safe with your outfits, but with Kate, you need a little more than safe, since she doesn’t have any flair or charisma at all.

Hairstyle is just as boring as ever. Raccoon eyeliner is still going strong, the blush is even stronger. But even with the pancake makeup, she doesn’t appear beautiful or stunning…just average and plain.

I sure hope we’d actually hear something about her patronages come January, because all she’s done so far is dress up in expensive clothes and style her hair for these “charity” events and we’ve yet to see any real substance from her.

I wonder how many thousands of $$$$ she’s spent on clothes and hairstylist fees for these events compared to how much money she’s actually donated? Or how much time has she actually put into visiting charities?

    • The Original Mia says:

      *slow clap*

      Brilliant!

    • jess says:

awesomeness! i’m now so curious to know if her beloved hair dresser is on call for every single outing of hers, official or not(was this an official outing…i’m not sure?!). i know he followed her to canada, but what about her trip to denmark? did he come there too? or to zara’s wedding? omg…the possibilities are endless! don’t try to pretend that you’re “budget” by shopping at “real people” stores waity, when you spend thousands on your hair! not hating, but just own up to it. it’s the inconsistencies that get me worked up…

  21. CookieJar says:

Is William obliged to wear this same suit all the time? Or maybe it’s just the same color and fit every single occasion when he is not in uniform. It looks so dated and ages him very much.
Kate’s dress is too short. It would be lovely if it was knee-length.
I agree that it is very respectful of her not to wear expensive designer brands all the time, though.

  22. Amanda says:

There’s something I don’t like about Kate and I can’t put my finger on why.

  23. TXCinderella says:

It does seem a little too casual for the event. Maybe if she wore some peep toe pumps? Will looks great as always.

  24. fran says:

Jeebus, people, she was going to a Gary Barlow’s gig, not to the opera!
I think it looks nice on her and appropriate, she’s not 40!

  25. spinner says:

She looks lovely & totally appropriate. I don’t know what all the fuss is about.

  26. Yasmine says:

I don’t mind that she buys dresses affordable to the ‘common riff raff’ of society, ie. commoners like myself who pay taxes to that family.
BUT, if you had her money and selection, wouldn’t you try to buy things that are not sweatshop made?! I wish I could afford things not made by 11-year old children, or women denied maternity leave and/or recently fired from their 12-hr day for simply getting pregnant. *Sigh*

    • Anne says:

Exactly. She could buy ethical clothing, which is quite expensive and out of the price range of many people who would like to buy them.

  27. L says:

Hunting for sport is one thing (which is really just ‘killing’ not hunting)-hunting for food and not wasting any of the animal is another. If you’re just putting a deer rack on your wall that’s not my thing, but the fact that my uncle hunts deer and makes deer sausage, stews, freezes the steaks, uses the hides and the rest is not something to look down upon. If anything that meat is more lean and healthy than the non-local non-organic crap people get in stores.

Fox hunts are just stupid though.

  28. Denise says:

She has no sense of unique individual style. The outfit is boring. Both her and Pippa spend way too much time in Zara. They should really invest in some stylish pieces. And yes, they both still dress like a pair of frat girls.

  29. ruby says:

My, isn’t that skirt short for a royal ! Other than that, the outfit is ok. I don’t mind black tights at all. I don’t see the weight gain though, but maybe it’s just me.

Same old makeup problem, and I’m getting really bored with her hair.

  30. Aurelia says:

You know you are in trouble when chuck and cam look more relevant and contemporary than you.

Kate gets the eyeliner from her mutton dressed a lamb mother. And the dressing too young.

No home training, kate just does not know about apropriateness of occassion (regardless of it being a garry barlow thing) or dressing her age. I’m sure when I was pushing 30 I dressed in a more sophisticated way.

  31. eternalcanadian says:

That was an awful outfit! The skirt is way, way, way too short! She has the money and the status and it is time she makes use of both. Get someone to be your stylist and start dressing appropriately for your age. Is she trying to pretend she’s 18 with that short hem? She’s going to be 30 next month! And the hair flipping continues. She has got to stop touching her hair so much. I won’t bother dissing the makeup because that is still as awful as ever.

    • Luise says:

She touches her hair constantly because she’s checking to make sure her extensions are still there.

  32. Mrs.Krabapple says:

It seems that everything the royal family does is orchestrated for a reason. I suspect that nobody enjoys talking to or “hanging out” with Kate, who comes across as a simpleton with very little of interest to say. But they don’t want her sinking into depression or rebelling the way Diana did, hence the invite to her sister – Pippa fills the gap in Kate’s life caused by not having any real friends.

It’s nice that the sisters as so close. But I suspect Kate is lonely, nobody in the royal family has befriended her, and this is how they “solve” that problem.

    Edited to add
re: her clothing — it’s obvious by now that she’s not a fsahion trend-setter, so my expectations have gone down. She usually looks pleasant enough (although she needs to gain weight).

    • lin234 says:

Life must be really depressing when another vacation is forced on you complete with servants and all the luxury in the world. So much so that she needs her sister to get through these tough times and another vacation with her parents after spending time with the royals. LOL!

But I agree with you, she just seems like she has zero personality. She does have nice legs though.

    • serenitea says:

I totally agree with you. I don’t know what it is but there is something very strange going on here — either with her or W’s obsessive need to control her image. The way they cart her out like a wax figure is very unnatural and when she is allowed to speak it’s completely disjointed (e.g., the Unicef interview). Add to that her extremely affected manner and hand gestures, her sad empty eyes — something’s not right.

  33. Leigh says:

I just got back from a week in London and there are NO pregnancy rumors there at all, nothing in the papers or even the trashiest tabloids. Interesting….

  34. Amy says:

I like how Kate dresses most of the time. There are a few things of hers I haven’t liked but I think she dresses well. She knows what works for her and she sticks with it. I sometimes really wonder about the fashion sense of some of the readers here but then to each her own I guess. The only thing I wish she would change up more often is her hair.

  35. fababy says:

    William got new fake hair??

  36. Turtle Dove says:

College girl for sure. Cute outfit, but not chic enough for an event.

  37. sharylmj says:

cute outfit, just the skirt is too short. she looks great and healthy!! I love these two 🙂

  38. Ashley says:

ALL the women here in Spain wear those sheer black tights (which we don’t consider fashionable in the states…opaque or nothing). And pantyhose too, and always with jean shorts and boots! And these are girls in their 20’s!

    • OMSS says:

In the UK tights like that aren’t a problem, also. I think if she had worn a lighter or different coloured pair of shoes it would have looked better. Other than that, the tights are fine.

    • Trek Girl says:

Yeah, I like the idea of the tights, more than I like the tights. If the tights had been opaque they would have made the dress pop.

  39. Jae Fox says:

Maybe it’s because I’m broke as hell but I don’t know why people keep calling her outfits affordable? There isn’t a Zara’s where I live so I browsed their website and really? You have to be at least upper middle class to be able to buy that stuff without any financial consequences.

I don’t know about you guys but I don’t have $100 to blow on a dress and not give it another thought.

    • OMSS says:

Zara? It’s a working in white collar environment/office, or a middle class affordable price level. I am neither of the two currently (I’m a broke student), but I would be quite happy to ‘splash out’ a couple of quid on their Basic range (not really showcased very well on their website, but easy to find in stores). Their stuff last far longer too. Also, they pay greater attention to detail in the sewing department.

  40. anniecc says:

Ok, I’m curious. What do American girls wear with winter dresses and skirts if you don’t approve of black tights? Here in London they are pretty much considered a fashion staple.

    • Trek Girl says:

Many of them wear black tights. To me it just makes sense; it shows off the dress, the shoes, the woman’s body, accentuates the colors of the clothes, accessories, and makeup, and it’s a pretty timeless look to boot.
I live in a state where the fall and winter can get pretty cold, and black tights are perfect for when a woman or girl wants to wear a short or knee-length dress or skirt while keeping their legs warm. I don’t know that many of them do it, but I know that it is a practical and stylish choice for this state.

I think Kate looks fine, and I don’t agree with the people that say the skirt is too short for someone her age.
I think whether a garment is too short or not should not be determined by ones age, but by how one looks in the garment. I’ve seen many a 20 year-old and teen that look horrible in short or low cut clothes, and many women in their 30’s, 40’s, 50’s, and older, that work the hell out of it.

      • Trek Girl says:

I tried to change my comment, but that failed for some reason. I’m going to explain my answer a little bit more.

Most American girls do wear black tights, but the tights are opaque, not sheer. Opaque tights give more of a pop, while the sheer tights look dated and rather ashy, at least to me.

      • Nire says:

Also, opaque tights afford you more modesty. Fewer people would probably be complaining about the length of her dress if she were wearing opaque black tights.

  41. Jae Fox says:

Oh and I don’t think that skirt’s too short. Seriously, she’s not showing any skin, and she’s not over 40 so she can get away with short skirts. I don’t see the problem even if she is Royal. Aren’t she and William supposed to be modernizing the monarchy anyway?

  42. Hmmm says:

Geez, she’s a 30 year old woman and supposedly a royal! Where is the rest of your skirt, Waity? Arriviste. I guess showing off her gams from stem to stern matters more than propriety. What a terrific role model!

    • BooBooKitty says:

God forbid a woman in her twenties wears a shorter than knee length dress. Next she’ll be wearing a two piece bathing suit and trying to vote.

  43. Stubbylove says:

It seems enough has been said about this one outing! ‘Ol girl’s got great legs but the whole look is awful and cheap looking. There’s a million other looks she could choose from instead of this one – especially an evening event with her husband and Prince Charles in attendance. Also, the boring hair and makeup is just so dull. Ugh – disappointing.

If I ever meet Kate. I will shake her hand, smile and tell her she has great hair….and then pull out my scissors and cut 3 inches, Good God!!!!

She looks fine! It’s not a particularly exciting outfit, but it’s age and event appropriate. I have to say, as a Brit, I’ve never seen or heard any evidence that Kate is disliked by the English. Most people are completely neutral in their opinion of her, some are anti-monarchy altogether, and some quite like her. I don’t particularly like paying my taxes to support the royals, but it certainly wouldn’t drive me to make personal attacks against any of them!

I’m really confused as to why people want Pippa and Harry together. They wouldn’t be hot together and Pippa’s fug so the notion of two hot eople being together ad it being well “hot” doesn’t come into this equation. But then again I’ve never gotten people’s obsession with finding two beautiful people together sexy. It’s bizarre.

    /end rant

I’m sure Carole Middleton is using Pippa as a way to worm her family into Sandringham. Pippa will be a hit (she learned her social climbing ways from the best afterall) and some bizarre shift will happen where we’ll see the Middleton’s spending more and more time with the Royals (must piss Diana’s family off that she wasn’t given that opportunity and her sister’s husband worked for the Queen!). Those Middleton’s are a crafty bunch. I’m sure Carole is the “mother” William craves (much like Kate has used that same trick to get where she is today). Ugh manipulative lot.

  48. SamiHami says:

Kate is beautiful and dresses very well. Yes, her dress is a bit short, but she’s got the legs for it. She looks good, as she usually does.

  49. Loralei says:

She hunts? Yuck. She usually dresses like a boring old lady. This time she dressed like a boring high school girl.

  50. melmel says:

Does Kate have any friends aside from her sister?

  51. Jasmine K says:

Stop hating on her. She looks adorable.
