I saw the performance and was disappointed. I thought she was “over” dressing like that. It discredits her talent.
She has a great voice, but she ruins it by “over-singing”. Not a good performance last night.
She looked awful. Her shape was horrible and she was flowing out of her top. What’s the matter with her? She needs a reality check.
I know I’m the only one that feels this way, but the girl has misplaced her talent somewhere. Let’s hope she finds it soon. The last few times I’ve heard her “sing”, it wasn’t nothing but caterwallin’. WTF happened!?
She should look in the bottom of the bottle of booze she’s sucking on…for her lost talent…and possibly her self respect is there too.
Honestly i thought she had improved, maybe because there were other singers but she wasn’t messing with her voice as much as she did in her latest performances. That woman singing towards the end was just dreadful though..
I am kind of sad. I bought Back to Basics, and there were some songs on the 2nd cd where she sang VERY beautifully and delicately. She wasn’t belting, and notes she chose and the nuance to the songs were really remarkable. I thought she had learned and grown…but now it seems that was just a good producer talking sense into her.
Whitney lost her voice too 🙁 Singers need to take care of the instrument.
I’m not even going to watch the video because I have better things to do. The last time I heard Aguilera sing, I had to pause less than a minute into the video because her singing was that bad. Anyone who has played an instrument or sings knows that it is a lifelong learning process! Once you neglect practicing, take a long break, or do something to destroy your instrument, you aren’t going to sound as good anymore. Someone who leads a healthy lifestyle and gets in a bit of practicing each day will typically sound better than someone who parties all night and practices only right before a concert. There are those with inherent talent but unless you foster it then it is wasted. Aguilera seems to have chosen the path of many other celebrities who neglect their talent after making it big and never sound as fresh, determined, and strong as they did when they first came onto the scene. You can really tell that many stars put everything into their performances at the beginning of their careers but get lazy after they’ve made their millions. At least I’ve heard Celine Dion puts in 110% at every live performance even after being in the industry for decades so there are those who still appreciate the gift that was given to them rather than squandering it for drugs and alcohol.
She looked good in the yellow dress she had on in the show though. And I’m glad she ditched the bright red lipstick. Baby steps..

I absolutely loathe that style of shoe. I wish that they would just go away already. Hooves, stripper shoes, stilts – not attractive.
That bouncing on her feet has been her “thing” for awhile. And it’s not even a real bounce. I guess its the only thing Christina can do in shoes she can’t walk in.
It looks as if she did purchase a new wig. This one seems to be the same color from roots to ends.
And I don’t believe Christina lost any weight. She just decided to wear clothes that were not 20 pounds ago.
But those shorty shorts must have had industrial strength spanx. She couldn’t even stand up straight in them.
I feel sorry for anyone who has to perform in those shoes. Strippers had a pole to hang on to while working those things. These singers have caught a raw deal when those became in vogue.
Actresses have it a little better, they just have to stand there for photo ops with limited walking shown. But most women/singers look horribly clumsy trying to walk let alone dance in those shoes. And they have to work an entire stage for how long? Ugh
As far as the outfit. Eh…wasn’t great, wish she would wear something else.
But the singing. She is sharing the stage with how many singers? It isn’t just her voice, she has to bring it back a bit and blend with the others. So, I can’t say for certain if she has lost anything on that front like others have claimed.
But even if she did, she is still better than A LOT of singers out today.
I definitely thought she was heading in the right direction lately, with the new hair and new wardrobe…buttt she took 10 steps backwards last night. Why or why Christina? You’re talented and beautiful, why do you always ruin things for yourself?

Looking at her face in the pics and the video, it just lost that edge, that sharpness and hardness that were in it from the beginning. Now her face looks much more mellow, peaceful, soft, much prettier. I don’t think it would be possible to achiever all this simply with make-up.
Awful. Her t*ts were spilling out of her bedazzled bra thing and WHY WON’T SHE WEAR PANTS? Yes, she’s lost weight and would probably look decent if she wore appropriate fitted clothing. But no, that’s too easy.
We need a law that says No performing in your underwear after 30. ( Side eyeing Madonna) I love Christina’s voice but her ‘style’ is gutter tripe. Doesn’t she have anyone that can tell her the truth?
She was looking better recently, and then I was so disappointed when she came out sans pants. Come on! She still has an amazing voice, but she does over sing, and the outfit, or lack of, was so distracting.

I keep seeing commercials for that Zac Efron movie and thinking that woman seems too old for him.
It wasn’t her best performance or look, but she’s still talented and very pretty.

I don’t think the Armenians like her either. I was told by a few very affluent Armenians they considered the kardashians to be whores and they were ashamed the kardashians were of their ethnicity. In 5 years she’ll be as relevant as Paris Hilton is now. This will never happen.
According to what I saw on something on E tonight: She says it will be in five years or so. She intends to establish residency. The current mayor apparently is (gag…) supporting the idea and said she could hang out doing something to get an idea how it works. So I assume that will be her next pseudoreality show, “Kim Takes Over The Mayor’s Office”. At least it might mean she realizes she needs a backup plan for when her plastic surgery starts melting and sagging.
Poor Taylor Schilling looks like she is about 38 years old and lives off of Camel lights and diet coke.

I can’t believe Stripped is 10 years old. That was her best album and one of my all-time favorites. I didn’t think this performance was THAT bad, she just LOOKED awful. Christina has never really had great style though.
I agree. I thought it was a good performance but her “look” scared the hell out of me! At one point she went down on her knees then the camera cut away. I would have loved to see her get back up!!
That performance was awful. Christina had potential as a singer but now all she does is shout and growl. The less said about her attire, the better.
I’ve been wondering the same thing about that Taylor Schilling in the new Zac Efron movie. Maybe it’s because of her name but everytime I see her all I think about is Taylor Whatsername with the dead husband from RHOBH.

What is with the granny underwear?? I don’t think there needs to be a ‘law’ that after 30 no underwear only on stage. I’ve seen many a twenty-something year old who should never wear just underwear only either.
Even if she would have put a super short flowing skirt, anything, over the underwear, it would have looked 100x better.
I concur. I guess the poster above also thinks no women over 30 should be allowed to wear bikinis either? I know plenty of 30-somethings with kids that look better than a lot of teens and 20-somethings. I think it should be less about age and more about how well a person takes care of him/herself. Helen Mirren absolutely rocked that bikini at 60-something and I think she looked great!

The whole performance sucked! Bad song choice for the group. I’m so done with X-tina I used to be her BIGGEST fan, no lie. All that over signing, voice straining was gotten on my last nerve…what a waste.
Her weave is disasterous. When she turned around you can actually see it showing through and it was stringy. Christina is bottom heavy. I relate to that issue because I am as well. When you have a thick lower half, you want to cover up that area, not basically wear a unitard to show it off. Not a good look.

Being ‘loud’ does not a singer make. She needs to study a lot more and intensely train with a qualified vocal coach.
Some of the outfits I’ve seen her wear on the voice are simply ridiculous! Which make her look like an all female clown hooker.I thought she waxed and shined the top of her chest(along w/that face) that was purposely being pushed out by wires, foam, and god knows what else was shoved in that bustier. She has NO TASTE and will never be respected no matter what she does. I can’t stand her weak voice trying to scream out a note!!!

She looked ridiculous, and that bright blue clown eyeshadow did her no favors.
However, the worst part of that performance was not her appearance. The worst part was her selfishness. This was supposed to be a group performance and should have showcased her groups abilities, not her own. Though they each had a small, solo part, for the most part, she used them as back up singers. God forbid the attention isn’t on her. And I’m sick of her only singing her own songs in group performances. Put down the bottle and learn a new song. No other coach does this, but evidentally Christina will only sing Christina songs.
There was all kinds of wrong going on with her on The Voice–even moreso this week than previous episodes. You could see a very defined line at her armpit where the orange spray tan met her white skin. Her weave/extensions were SO bad. And don’t even get me started on her cramming her body into that unitard. She was singing with a high school GOSPEL CHOIR IN HER UNDERWEAR! And she was stumbling around, either because her heels were too high or she couldn’t breathe because her corset was too tight. My husband calls her Miss Piggie because of her too blond hair and 5 pounds of neon makeup.
At least she toned down on the nasty comments to the contestants–last week I think she complimented one person and complained about the rest. And what was up with her dissing Tony Lucca, the guy she was on Mickey Mouse Club with? I thought that was pretty low.
My husband and I were watching the Voice and I made a comment about how pretty I thought her face looked. He said, “not really, she looks just like Tina Yothers from Family Ties.”
My friend said she’s turning into Donatella. IDK I thought her face looked lovely.

People are so mean…I think Christina looked and sounded fine. She could have sung a lot better but then she would have upstaged her team – wasn’t the point of this performance to show off THEIR talent not HERS? We already know she can sing so why would she have to go all out in her performance to prove an already proven fact?
As for her outfit – whatever. It’s what SHE felt comfortable in so that’s all that matters since she was the one wearing it, not you or I.
I had the pleasure of meeting her after a concert a few years ago and she is an extremely sweet person – and undeserving of the never ending ignorant shit that is said about her.

Actually, we don’t know if she can sing, she hasn’t sounded even halfway decent live in years. Some people say she was naturally gifted with some vocal talent, however, her complete lack of vocal training and talent is evident in any performance I’ve seen of her. Yelling and saying ‘ha!’ isn’t singing, it’s awful.
Girl needs to lay off the booze and get some vocal training stat!
