As you know, there were a lot of young, hip, cool couples at Coachella last weekend and this weekend. But is any couple cooler than Penn Badgley and Zoe Kravitz? Well, maybe. But I still love them. These are new photos of Penn and Zoe at Coachella this weekend. I have to give it to Zoe – those shorts are hideous and dated, but she’s one of the first celebrity girls I’ve seen who actually looks incredibly comfortable. Did Zoe and Penn actually go to Coachella for the music? Probably. Also: doesn’t Zoe look worlds better now that she’s grown out her bangs? So much prettier.
After spending several months in a state of shock, I’ve grown to love Penn and Zoe together. Whatever happened between Zoe and Michael Fassbender – whoever dumped who, I still don’t know – I have to give it to Zoe. She found a boyfriend closer in age, someone who really shares her interests. Penn has turned into quite the little hipster, and his career beyond Gossip Girl seems to be flourishing a bit too – he’ll be playing Jeff Buckley in Greetings From Tim Buckley, and being with Zoe simply ups his credibility, doesn’t it? Like, Zoe wouldn’t be with someone who wasn’t cool. Penn is cooler because he’s with her.
PS… Still loving Penn’s afro too. His hair simply doesn’t do well in any kind of humidity.

It’s a three day event and they held it on two consecutive weekends this year.
It’s the desert so I’m not buying the humidity excuse for his hairstyle, but it probably was hotter than hell out there. If he was smart he’d get a summer cut.
As the proud owner of a curly mop, any hot weather has the potential to fuck up my ‘do thanks to sweat rolling off the scalp. Add humidity and I feel like shaving the whole damn thing off.
I think they look adorable, penn and zoe make more sense than zoe and (f)assbender

She looks better with someone closer to her age. Girlfriend sure does love her some extremely pale guys. Nothing wrong with that. Penn is never going to be able to tan just like Fassy.
Zoe’s tattoos are awful, but not as awful as her dress sense.
Penn’s hair is icky, his facial hair is icky, and his shirt looks filthy. I want to bathe him.

Seeing someone change their look so much when they start dating someone always makes me wonder if they were hiding who they were before, or if this drastic change is for the new person. Like, when he was with Blake, he never wore these clothes, his hair like that, or went to these kinds of events…so was he pretending with her, or now hipster pretending with Zoe? I know people change their likes over time, but this is somewhat of a drastic change…

So funny to see how he looked far more clean-cut when he was dating Blake (and now she is with the ultimate clean-cut guy). I think Penn prefers himself this way.

There is no way her bangs grew out that fast…i.e. extensions…which is fine. I don’t care for either of them personally but they fit together totally as a scruffy couple. And I agree with other posters here, if she wasn’t Lenny’s daughter she would not be given opportunities she has had because she isn’t talented at acting (small role in XMen) has no musical talent and she is only as attractive as any average 22 year old today, except most aren’t as dirty and run down looking. Yuk.
They look dirty, but I think they go well together as a couple. He made NO sense with Blake Lively and she made NO sense with Michael Fassbender.

I do agree her fassbender didn’t look right together, but I just don’t see any type of chemistry between Zoe and Penn they seem more like friends to me I know they are suppose to be seeing each other, but he never looks really happy with her, also I am not going for him being this hipster that is not who he really is, he should just try being himself whoever that is. maybe he will change back once he and Zoe eventually breakup.
I think they are true hipsters and they always dress and act the same way. They didn’t adopt the persona for the festival like so many other celebs and they genuinely look like they fit as a couple.

this guy isn’t a hipster he said in an interview that he totally changed from who he was before, which is totally impossible to me you can every totally change yourself, you can act like it but you are who you are and this radical hippie he isn’t. he seemed happier to me being the person that he was before. He really needs to go find his real self.

I’ve never really been interested in Zoe, but she’s beautiful. Amazing bone structure, gorg lips. She’s also got a chill attitude which probably makes sense since she’s the child of seemingly cool famous people. She doesn’t seem famewhorish.
Penn I have no thoughts on.
Just a note on Fassbender. When I was much younger I was in a 2 year relationship with a much older guy. Hot as it was, the whole thing was a drag because even without knowing it, older dudes can be condescending. Not always but it happens often enough. The next guy I dated was also older but sadly, a man-child. That didn’t work either, big surprise
I don’t know why but I’m growing to love Zoe and her hipster Bf. If they lived in the Bay, they’d probably be in my circle of annoying hipster acquaintances.
