Here are some photos from the Bravo Upfronts, which were in New York on Wednesday. I kept waiting to get these photos yesterday, but they came in super-late, which is fine because now we get to really talk about everyone! First off, this is what Brandi Glanville wore to the Upfronts. I’m fascinated by this dress. While I’m generally not a fan of “illusion netting,” this is a great example of illusion netting done well – it matches her skin really well, and it really creates the illusion that the dress is standing up on its own. Brandi also looks much better here than she did last week at that McWrap event. Her hand has healed too! That’s good.

Forget about her dress. Fleann Rimes had another twitter breakdown. This time it’s all about bio-moms and bonus-moms. What a mess.
Really-Leann is always taking care of her kids, they are very very lucky, how can you b-rate someone for looking after their step kids and treating them like they are their own-lots of people won’t.
Yup. As I make the rapid descent into mid-thirties, I’m looking to older women to show me how to look fashionable, sexy, AND classy, without being too matronly—not getting any help from these ladies. There’s a point where you just have to accept that only twenty-somethings should ever rock the “cheap hooker” look. And even then-reserve it for clubbing, please.
Should I be embarrassed to say that I find it both cute and trashy? Brandi is probably a little long in the tooth for a dress like that, but I think she looks great in it. Personally, I don’t think I would have felt comfortable wearing that at any age.

I think the dress is very cute. Maybe a little *too* low cut. But I wouldn’t mind seeing it on a young 20 something starlet.
There comes a time when a woman has to realize that continuing to dress like you’re 20 just makes you look ridiculous. You can dress appropriately for your age and still be sexy. The Guidice woman’s dress for example is very flattering and sexy, yet sophisticated.

It is a matter of days before LeAnn Rimes if photographed by the paparazzi wearing a dress just like the one Brandi Glanville is wearing. I don’t understand why LeAnn would want to copycat her. I mean LeAnn is pretty too.

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. I do believe that if LeAnn gained some weight and made herself up nicely with her own style she would look pretty. She has a nice smile and she can charm people with her singing.

Brandi was beautiful until she f’d up her face with too uch botox, too many fillers, etc. Now she’s just a plasticized 40-year-old pretty woman with a great body.
Regarding your other comment, LeAnn doesn’t need to gain weight. She has gained weight back and dare I say is at a very flattering, sexy weight. She actually has shape again.
I thought LeAnn looked better thinner. She looks too meaty now. Everyone used to rant about LeAnn being too thin, but doesn’t anyone notice Brandi’s legs? They are like tooth pics and she has no muscles. At least when LeAnn was thin she had muscles.

Yolanda looks tacky? Far from, her dress is a classic shape, and the material is quality. It is wrinkling like it doesn’t fit perfectly, but that might be because she is pressed against someone.
That’s what I was thinking too — I don’t know all of their names, but I had trouble telling a couple of the blond ones (I think Brandy and someone else) apart at one point.

I think she legitimately burned her hand(s). she tweeted about the burn before she wore the awful gloves ( a solid week before) so I don’t think it’s backpedaling. my guess is that she is probably mostly healed at this point and just put some makeup on her hands to cover the fresh pink skin.

I’ve seen a lot of accidental burns in the hospital and none look like that. So nice, square and even. Not deep, just a square surface on the backs of both hands. Did not even burn the fingers-it is a burn miracle. Interesting when her friends came onto CB and said it was a peel before Brandi tweeted CB.

Brandi has a gorgeous body, but her legs are too thin. Nice long legs, but not very shapely, more stick like. She’s good at standing in a way to camouflage that. I would rather have her legs than fat legs, though LOL, so minor criticism. She’s small-boned in the shoulders and arms, ribcage, etc., and I am too, so I always like Brandi’s lean lines.
But out of all the women there, Joanna Krupa has the best body, shapely, and killer legs, and really a beautiful face. You just can’t see it in the dress she has on. But Joanna is so obnoxious it offsets her beauty.

You’re right, she has a ton of self-confidence (and in a good way, not a conceited way). It really does show in the way she carries herself.
I disagree. She does have self-confidence but far form a ton. For such a pretty woman who once looked much younger than her age at 40 to look in the mirror and not be comfortable in her own skin to the point she keeps messing up her face with fillers, botox, injections, on and on, and is looking more and more plastic, is not a woman brimming and overflowing with self-confidence. It actually makes me sad for Brandi that she was so pretty and isn’t happy with herself to the point she messed up her looks.
Give me women like Julianne Moore and Cate Blanchett who seem to be very self-confident women and comfortable with their looks as they age, thus exude self-confidence.

I think Julianne & Cate probably had to work hard at developing their craft and developing personalities while Brandi was really just a paid mannequin.
Listen, I think I’m pretty confident but with every year that passes, I freak out more and more about the changes that come with aging.
I can grant Brandi a bit of understanding when it comes to that kind of thing. If it’s hard for me, it must be BRUTAL for someone who made a career based on her looks.
@TheOriginalKitten: You’re right, they are actresses. I was trying to pick women in their forties and fiftes who used plastic surgery to a minimum to enhance their beauty. Julianne is 50 and gorgeous and, let’s face it, obviously has done stuff to stay looking so good. I am in my thirties and will do whatever it takes to stay looking good. I’m vain. But I won’t destroy my looks because of trends and start looking plasticized.
As a model, Brandi should know what is better and not. What is odd is she made fun of Adrienne Maloof and others for their plastic surgery, and now she’s being made fun of for going too far. She doesn’t see it. Blowing up your face and overbotoxing because it’s the latest trend is not being self-confident, because she actually hurt her beautiful good looks. That’s someone looking in the mirror and not seeing how pretty she was with already minimal use of procedures.
I will use a model then to compare. Elle McPherson, at 50, looks feakin’ 30, because she has great genes, sure, but does minimal stuff, and didn’t overbotox, overfill her face and lips. She is so damn youthful looking and her face moves. Brandi now looks older because of her obsession; whereas, she looked early thirties before, very fresh looking, natural looking. Now looks like a plasticized but attractive 40-year-old in the face. She has a harder, less natural look now.
Elle realizes a frozen, overstuffed face with no smile lines does not equal youth. A face is supposed to be able to move. Girls in their twenties have more lines than these Real Housewives women. So odd.

I guess that’s what I don’t understand-there are definitely women (like the examples you mentioned) in Hollywood who have gotten minimal stuff done to their faces so why do we not notice (or question *if* or *if not*) on them but the women featured here look like aliens? Is it a matter of the doctor’s skills, genetics and facial structure, or is it just them going overboard? Or all of the above?
I’m just saying that I haven’t closed the door to possibly getting something done as I get older but the fear of looking like my face is a mask overrides my vanity. There has to be a happy medium right? Or is it just an inevitability that if I start, I’ll end up doing more and more and look like a freak?

Real Housewives of…or rather, poster girls for why you should never get plastic surgery. After witnessing all the cosmetic surgery travesties in the last few years, I am more than excited to age naturally. What shocks me the most with Brandi, Madonna, Adrian Maloof etc etc is they still all look their age, if not older, so what’s the point to clinging onto something that can’t be bought?

I am new in the gossip scene (do not own a tv), it is fascinating. In their own categories, blond, darkhaired, young, middle aged, etc., they all look alike. I have a hard time to recognize a certain face.

When I worked in a hospital in Newport beach all the women looked like this. All look the same nebulous, alien age and they are frightening.
Naomi Watts and Nicole Kidman stand together, one is aging naturally and looks gorgeous. One looks an alien with waxy, smooth skin. You choose who looks better. I know who I’d pick.
Pulling your face back and freezing it with botox doesn’t look youthful by any standards. Youth is something that nature gives us and cannot be recreated artificially. I have nothing against people who decided to have any cosmetic surgeries, but quit trying to cling onto something and embrace the way you’re SUPPOSED to look. There is something so beautiful and priceless about a natural beauty, that in return, it makes you seem ageless.
I cringe when I hear people say Madonna looks good for her age, no, she doesn’t, since when does chicken cutlets, face lifts, botox and lord knows what else look good. It’s unnatural and when someone has such extensive plastic surgery, that’s all I can see, nothing else.

For the RH event, I like it. The color and the whimsy of it really works on Brand.
I watched the second part of the RHOBH reunion, and Brandi with all her fat cheeks, botox and big fake lips looked mean and older. I can only describe it in the way that she looked so soft next to those catty biotches the last reunion. Madonna on her 2007 tour looked luminous, so soft and pretty, large eyes. I remember being in awe of her, that whatever minor filler work she did, etc., it worked. Fast Forward to now and all the fillers and cheek implants honestly make Madonna look meaner and harder at angles and older and the cheeks make Madonna’s eyes smaller.
At least, here Brandi looks softer. Maybe it’s the hair camouflaging it or maybe the fillers have gone down finally or maybe softer makeup. At least, she’s out of her God-awful, own dress line, tacky, cheap designs she was wearing.
Christ, the woman’s body is INSANE. I think she looks fab and I am in LOVE with that dress!

She was so close to having a perfect look. If the dress wasn’t cut out in the boob area it would be great. The bottom half and the sides of the top are very flattering. It was the same with her Oscar dress. The bottom was great but the boobs were wrong. With Brandi it’s like it starts out stylish but then veers towards the slutty side. If she stayed away from flashing her breasts she’d be better off.

I think low neckline and longer hemline or higher neckline and shorter hemline are much sexier than low neckline and short hemline. I like the idea of the bottom of the dress, but something about it looks cheap. It’s probably from Brandi’s line, all of her dresses look cheap. Like the dress colour on her, hate the belt and even more so the purse. The gold shoes are okay, but the belt and purse should have been a different colour.
I just met Kyle and Mauricio in DC today! She’s super short, 5’3 probably, but very nice in person.
Brandi looks GREAT! The dress is very original and daring, just like her. LeAnn will probably attempt this look and FAIL. It’s so very sad for LeAnn to try to emulate the woman her husband cheated on…you would think that would set an alarm off in her head.

It would look better had the skirt been longer. Are these pictures photoshopped? There was an article with tons of photograph on DM about this event and they all look rough/less flattering.

Brandi is too,old and too used to pull it off without the word “skank” coming to mind. But then again I think that word almost every time I see a pic of her.
