Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie & all of their kids go for sushi in Berlin: so cute?

New photos of the Jolie-Pitts! Let’s see, is everyone there? I see Empress Zahara in a pink dress, refusing to hold her mom’s hand. Z’s all “whatever, I can walk to the SUV unattended.” I see Pax in a slouchy black suit (just like his daddy). I see Maddox with a grey blazer and a skull cap. I see Knox in another slouchy black suit – Brad must buy kids-sized black suits in bulk. Damn. I see the back of Shiloh’s head, and I see Vivienne in a tiered party dress, holding on to her mom’s purse. Is that everyone? I think that’s everyone.

So, it looks like the entire Brangelina family was in Berlin last night. Shortly after the Berlin premiere – go here to see my coverage – the family went out for sushi at Kuchi Restaurant, probably to have a family celebration for Angelina’s birthday. Angelina got to change out of her white and gold Ralph & Russo dress into this little black dress because of course. She loves black dresses (and she has a strange affection for nude heels). Us Weekly has a front-view photo of the younger kids here – God, I love Zahara’s style. I wish Zahara was my stylist!! No, I wish Zahara was her mother’s stylist. Zahara would get Angelina into some flattering jewel tones in no time.

It’s been a really long time since we’ve seen all of the kids out together with Brad and Angelina. I can’t even remember the last time this has happened… it’s been more than a year, for sure. Usually, if we get photos of the kids, it’s only two at a time and only with one of the parents. Was this a special occasion because of Angelina’s 38th birthday, or is it a special occasion because daddy needs to promote his movie? I’m not complaining either way, and before everyone yells about getting to see the kids – it’s been a really long time since we’ve seen them. Truly.

    Looks insane.

  2. Lem says:

I think its cute that shiloh has learned to keep her face turned away. I think it’s neat that the six pack each has their own style. I think it’s creepy that I know all their names and can identify them by sight.

    • BW says:

Their faces aren’t exactly turned away. They are turned towards the photographers facing us.

  3. CandyKay says:

Could it be that Shiloh is wearing a dress? Or is it just long shorts? Hard to tell from the images, but it’s not her usual jeans look.

  4. Nicolette says:

Their eyes just light up when they look at each other. They seem so happy and so in love. *sigh*

  5. dorothy says:

Angelina looks so much happier and relaxed these days. Nice change.

    • LadyMTL says:

Exactly what I was thinking, she looks so much more at ease in those pics (even with the kid craziness). I wonder if it’s the relief from finally getting that operation out of the way and the news out there and so on?

  6. Angelica says:

Their kids are freaking awesome! Like them or not, I always love looking at how NORMAL their kids seem. It’s a welcome change, in my personal opinion.

    • Esmom says:

I agree. Their lives are very atypical — all those paps, all the traveling — yet they’re such refreshingly typical kids in many ways, it seems. Very cool.

    • inthekitchen says:

I agree and I have to say that I love love LOVE that they let Shiloh wear whatever suits her best. I just really respect that they let their kids be individuals instead of forcing them to wear stupid baby skinny jeans (Posh!) or frilly girly outfits or whatever (unless they choose to like Z). Clothes and purple hair streaks are just so unimportant in the big scheme of parenting, IMO.

      • Carol says:

To be fair, Harper isn’t old enough to be picking out her own clothes yet so we don’t know how Posh will be except that I seem to recall her boys were photographed in their share of costumes and capes.

  7. QQ says:

⤴ Always here for sightings of The Empress and her sideyes

  8. BooBooLaRue says:

    All hail Empress Zahara!

    • Meredith says:

Indeed the Empress is a favorite of mine. “I will not hold your hand, I will run ahead”, “I will not wear black, you fashion peasants. I am too unique for that!”. I love the kid’s confidence and love of life, it’s so refreshing.

    • Lulu says:

      I *love* Z’s dress.

  9. Lem says:

, I know she is in mom mode, but stand up straight. Clearly my posture can be blamed on hunching over to reach my children for the last decade. Thanks kids. and thanks Ang. I will put more effort into standing tall.

  10. yeees says:

Zahara is like “Screw the paps, i’m gonna make a run for it!”.
She’s so pretty, I don’t want her to grow up and become a model though.

    • Thinker says:

All three of their girls are beautiful; and their boys are handsome too. I get that “model vibe” from Z too, the little lady can give face! But she’s short for her age, so I would guess traditional modeling is out of the question, and I think Brad and Angelina are providing their children with a global education that will result in the kids having a larger worldview than “Hollywood or bust”.

I would love to see one of the kids grow up and become a doctor with Medicines Sans Frontiers, or a diplomat working with UN in some capacity. With six kids, and such a dynamic upbringing, I think they’re all destined for interesting paths.

      • Camille (TheOriginal) says:

        Great comment!

It will be very interesting to see how those kids turn out won’t it.

  11. V4Real says:

I wish Brad and Angie would adopt me. I’m not kidding.

  12. serena says:

Shilou still rocking the montenegro style.

  13. AlmondJoy says:

I wish there were close-ups of the kids.. they’re si adorable!

  14. Kim1 says:

Great seeing the kids Vivienne hair has grown a lot since we saw pics of her on Valentine’s Day.I see Shiloh hasn’t cut her again.Mad is looking like the Moody preteen. I have a 12 yo so I recognize the look. They all have their own style

    • phlyfiremama says:

Yeah, they really have a lot of nerve going out to dinner like they are some ordinary family celebrating a special time/occasion. They have absolutely conned me into going to see WWZ; showing the kids for the obvious attention mongering was the last straw to push me over into going to the movie this weekend. Outlandish, I tell you! 😉

  15. Harpreet says:

    Maddox is already a pre-teen!

  16. AlmondJoy says:

    *so adorable lol stupid typos

  17. Bird says:

They’ve been saving up for this, haven’t they? They are whoring out their relationship, Angie’s too-big boobs and their kids for WWZ.

    • whatthehell456 says:

      That’s a little harsh, yeah?

    • Nick says:

It must be exhausting being you. They had a family dinner – those gossip whores.

    • Samigirl says:

Pretty sure Bird is being sarcastic.

      • Kim1 says:

NO Bird made the same comment before she probably thinks AJ had surgery to promote his flm

      • Jim says:

Yeah, I’m not be sarcastic, sorry :-). I just don’t buy what they’re selling.

    • yolo112 says:

if you can’t say anything nice…

      *eye roll*

    • Kim1 says:

Funny seeing people who hate them yet are obsessed with them.Makes my day LMAO.If they are whoring their kids they need to provide clear shots of smiling kids next time. All the pap pics are not clear
      .

    • epiphany says:

      Wow, troll much?

    • FLORC says:

      Bird
It can be claimed that they’re dragging out the kids for a premiere and promotion. Sure. You can’t fake the love in their eyes though and the cuteness of that whole family.

Brad and Angelina Have both talked about how they hide from the paps. They’re skilled on a day to day basis when the paps are just patrolling for any celeb. During a premiere though it’s not far fetched to think with such a cluster of paps the odds are just so much greater of getting family pics and they’re all just “whatever” about it. They never seem to lash out at the photogs and make a scene either which leads me to believe they’re just always ignoring them if they do come in contact.

And Angelina’s breasts will settle in time. Your comment seems in poor taste considering the circumstances.

  18. floretta50 says:

Karamba, they are having a good time. Ms Jolie might still be sore and recuperating.

  19. Samigirl says:

Cute pics, but I can’t imagine having 6 children! 2 is exhausting me!

  20. mordor says:

Why do you think he’s dragging her along on this dog and pony show? They are desperately trying to gain the public’s approval, sympathy, and love, hoping it will translate to butts in seats for Brad’s unintentional disaster film.

They need every single shred of approval they can milk out of the public. They are groveling.

    • Sumodo1 says:

DING DING DING! We have a winner!

    • Arlene says:

Maybe they’re supporting each other, the way most couples do.

    • videli says:

In complete agreement with Arlene: not much dragging visible; that’s what committed couples do.

    • Sullivan says:

Poor Mordor. You’ve never had the love & support of a good partner. This is all so alien to you.

    • littlestar says:

Well, it must be working because I plan on going to see World War Z once it’s out in theaters :D.

    • Janet says:

You can sulk about the attention they’re getting while you’re sitting in an empty theater watching “We’re The Millers”.

  21. Jess says:

Knowing now how well they can hide when they want to, the pics of the kids suddenly creep me out. I always assumed it was something they couldn’t do much about given the interest, but clearly they can prevent the kids being photographed when they try. I don’t understand why anyone would make a choice to put their kids in the spotlight like this. They know the paps are going to be everywhere after a premiere, so maybe get take-out and save the restaurant trips for times when the paps don’t know exactly where you are.

Just the comments here make me feel gross. A bunch of strangers on the internet shouldn’t be so interested in little kids clothes and facial expressions and speculating about their personalities, it’s so weird. If they weren’t the children of celebrities, if these were just pictures of random kids with their parents, no one would think it’s ok to discuss them like this. It’s so bad with these particular kids. No one get’s so in-depth about Affleck’s kids or even Suri Cruise, but people are so interested in these kids it’s somewhat detached from interest in their parents.

Really makes me respect Matt Damon and Johnny Depp. I don’t even know their kids names or ages and in Matt’s case I’m not even sure how many he has despite being a fan.

    • wfb says:

I laugh every time there are conspiracy theorists here at celebitchy. I’m sorry but you can’t exactly hide that well when they had dinner to celebrate Angelina’s birthday, its not a medical operation where doctors are concerned. I’m sure the kids are alright since the papz took those pictures at like 30 seconds max.

People are not really interested with Matt Damon & Johnny Depp’s children since their significant others aren’t A-list actors.

      • Jess says:

Of course they can hide. If they didn’t want to be photographed as a family they could have the food delivered to their hotel. Given they often shut down restaurants or eat in a private room, it’s not like they’d be missing anything.

There was a ton of interest in Depp’s kids when they were born, it was actually the first time I noticed that sort of interest. Vanessa was/is big in many places. There was also a lot of interest when one of his kids was terribly ill a few years back (his daughter I think?) but he just refused to engage beyond a single press release. There’s been stories about how much money he spends protecting them and how much he changed his life so the paps wouldn’t be in his kids faces. Matt too has talked at length about all the things he does to ensure no one’s interested in and photographing his kids, and it certainly seems to work.

      • wfb says:

Its Angelina’s birthday, it should be your wish that should be followed not the birthday celebrant. The paparazzi took those pictures in 30 seconds compared to all those Hollywood attention seekers that parades their children every other day it seems, because they’re Angelina & Brad’s children they should not be seen ever.

Nobody cares about Depp & Damon’s children, the day that they’re haunted like the Jolie-Pitts I haven’t seen yet.

    • Kim1 says:

Why are you reading comments about celebrities’ kids if it so creepy to you.? You sound ridiculous

      • steph says:

Play nice. Its never so serious that you have to insult other commenters. Referring to Kim1.

      • Kim1 says:

No calling her an idiot would be insulting her. I’ve yet to see these people criticizing Reese W or Matt Damon or Beckhams o Hugh Jackman for being out in public with their kids.BTW there have been more pics of Stella Damon than of VIVIENNE Jolie Pitt between Nov. And May in JJ archives. Stella photographed Six times. Viv twice Around Halloween and Valentine’s Day prior to this Week.I’m tired of the double standards. IS Matt Damon pimping his kids because he had two movies come out in that time period?

    • Lucky Charm says:

The nerve of them taking their family to a restaurant to celebrate Angelina’s birthday. I guess I’m just as much a fame whore then, because I dragged my kids, sisters & brother in law, aunt & uncle and my parents out to a restaurant to celebrate my birthday. There were lots of pictures taken of us & posted online. How awful of me to not want to stay home and order in dinner!

    • Lucinda says:

Or maybe sometimes they just take a break from the cloak and dagger bit when it will be exponentially harder anyway? People will be looking for them actively during big events like a premier or a birthday so maybe they just figure WTF. I imagine it takes a lot of work and planning to not be seen most of the time.

Or maybe they really are attention whores who need adoration from the whole world all the time. Oh…wait…then why do they hide most of the time?

    • Sullivan says:

Good Gawd, Jess, your comment is as long as the Magna Carta. Who are you trying to convince?

      • Kitten Mittens says:

        Sullivan

Seems just long enough to make their point with nothing too redundant. Sometimes people can’t phrase what they’re trying to say in just a few words. And the Magna Carta contained around 2500 words. I’m just eyeballing here, but Jess’s comment didn’t look like 2500 to me. Try attacking the subject and facts given rather than attacking the poster. And i’m not saying you are, but i’m saying that tactic is very school yard childish.

      • Lulu says:

Sullivan appears to be used to posting on places where thoughtless snark is admired I would hazard to guess.

  22. Andrea says:

    They are sweet, beautiful children.

  23. Sandy says:

Beautiful children. All their little blonde heads are too cute. Love this couple.

    • Gossip Garl says:

Sahara isn’t blond..wl look a like, so i should know..And Pax and the other 1 arent neither.

  24. Gossip Garl says:

the three kids holding mummy’s bag…She reaching for Sahara, all tho she crossed the streets.Kids look very behaved…And yes she looks tired..But wouldnt we be all, being sick taking care of buss, making appearance as a celeb. She didnt have to.She wanted to.I want them to adopt me,im well behaved, HAHAHA!

    • Emma - the JP Lover says:

      @Gossip Garl …

Her name is Zahara, not Sahara. That’s why some here call her ‘Miss Zee.’

  25. jj says:

    You forgot Pax!

  26. anneesezz says:

Did Brad lose his luggage? He’s been wearing the same outfit for three days. He seems to be phoning it in at these premiers for a movie he has so much riding on. He looks like a burnout.

  27. Andrea says:

Am I the only one to feel bad for these kids? Yes, Berlin is great but all kids prefer to be at a stable home and attending school. There is nothing better than having lived in the same community and having gone to school with the same kids for years at a time. This family can afford the very best homes and schools for thier children yet insist on dragging them around the world. There is something to be said for stability and routine. I feel like the chance for a normal life has been totally taken away from these kids so their parents can parade them in front of the paps. Maybe it’s summer vacation? Anyone know?

    • wfb says:

It is summer in the US, of course you’ll comment before you checked, right?

      • Erinn says:

It’s summer, but I think most schools are in until the end of June. That’s the case in Canada at least. Of course colleges are done April/May.

      • cr says:

@Erinn, most secondary schools in the US are done with by the beginning of June.

@Andrea, this is their normal life. And as Lucinda mentions, they have stability, it’s just not stereotypical stability-living in the same place for years at a time.
And I’ve met plenty of people who, as children, moved around a lot, because of their parent’s job(s): military, business, whatever.

      • doofus says:

“@Erinn, most secondary schools in the US are done with by the beginning of June.”

        not so.

it can vary greatly from state to state. in AZ, they’ve been out since the end of May. In NJ, they’re in (in a LOT of communities) until almost the end of June.

in any case, from what I understand, these kids are enrolled in a school that has a curriculum that is identical from country to country (“The American School”, or something like that?) so they’re probably fine.

      • cr says:

        @doofus:
        “not so.
it can vary greatly from state to state.”

Note I said most, not all. Even our suburbs are slightly different from the city, but all are done within a two week time-frame, end of May, beginning of June.

      • cs says:

Not true in NYC kids are not out of school until the end of June. My sister lives in Florida and her daughter finished school last week, but they go back to school in August. Whereas in NY they don’t go back to school until after Labor Day (September).

    • Lucinda says:

Who says they don’t have stability and routine? Maybe traveling is their routine? They have spoken before about routines that carryover from place to place regardless of where they are. That’s why they choose the schooling they use. The curriculum is the same regardless of where they are. When we travel, I still read to my kids every night before bed. Travelling doesn’t preclude routine. And all the same people are still around my children much like I imagine the J-P’s. Their parenting is probably consistent too. Those are the things that matter the most. You can do that anywhere.

    • manly says:

      bwahahahahaha…summer in the U.S. OF A

    • Emma - the JP Lover says:

@Andrea, who wrote: “This family can afford the very best homes and schools for thier children yet insist on dragging them around the world. There is something to be said for stability and routine. I feel like the chance for a normal life has been totally taken away from these kids so their parents can parade them in front of the paps. Maybe it’s summer vacation? Anyone know?”

Yes, it’s summer vacation for school kids in the U.S.

Do you mean you’d really prefer for the Jolie-Pitts to lock their kids away in a boarding school or leave them with Nannies, rarely seeing them, while they travel the world for film projects? Cause that method hasn’t really worked well for loads of screwed up, attention-starved children of celebrities, who were often only an after thought to their parents on birthdays and Holidays.

I personally think the Jolie-Pitts deserve credit for wanting their kids with them, for having chosen to home school their kids and enroll them in the Lycee International school (which has the same curriculum, so no mater where they are, the homework/course load is the same) instead of enrolling them in year-round boarding schools.

The Jolie-Pitt kids have something very special … a sense of (a loving) family. ‘That’ will ground them better than anything else in the world.

      • anneesezz says:

But if they did have them in boarding schools you’d likely think that was the greatest thing they could do for their kids because this couple can do no wrong. Give me a break.

No family is perfect. Not even the Jolie-Pitts.

      • Rhea says:

@anneesezz : No family is perfect. ITA with that. And you are right. Not even the Jolie-Pitt.

With that said, I also think that what works for one family might not work for the other. What normal for one family might not be normal for the other.

There are people that have no choice to move around with their family because of their work and there are also people who have the luxury to choose whether to bring the family along for the work or not. In any case, people want—and try to do—what they think probably the best for their family.

AJ & BP probably thinking that bringing the kids along while they’re still small would be the best. They might thinking it’s better than leaving your children behind frequently for their work—while showing them the world outside. Who knows? IMO they want to have it both. Family and career.

Also, if I’m not mistaken AJ said if the kids finally said that they have it enough with the traveling, they would settle down anyway.

    • Janet says:

The kids are being home-schooled. Is that OK with you?

    • Lulu says:

I would guess they are having the time of their lives, all getting to hang together. I know I would have!

    • FLORC says:

      Lucinda

I grew up in a small farming community and had a wonderful childhood with my small group of friends and my beautiful farm! I like how I turned out! Im sure you like how you were raised and how you turned out too! It doesn’t mean that these kids aren’t happy in a stable family environment because they didn’t share your childhood experience.
As.. eclectic as this family is they all seem respectful and sweet to each other. The family is solid and the kids are getting the best education the world has to offer. Brad and Angie seem like the kind of parents that if a child came to them and said “I don’t want to move around anymore” They would do their best to stay put. I think this may have happened too. I think they moved into the french chateau and would always allow 1 parent to stay home if the other was working to keep that close knit bond together.

All in all I think these kids seem very well adjusted and are growing up just fine.

    • jwoolman says:

I dunno. I hated school even though i loved to learn, and would had have no trouble staying far far away from the kids in my school… Enough of them were not very nice to make school tiresome. We actually did travel around when I was ten and missed the last month of school. They just had us keep diaries as our school work for some reason (we did visit a lot of museums and art galleries and famous places). I don’t remember missing school or schoolmates at all. I would have done very well with home schooling.

  28. Chell says:

They look so genuinely happy~ it truly makes my heart smile!

  29. Chordy says:

The Empress Zahara will one day rule us all!

  30. diva says:

I’m here for Queen Zahara lol. They are a cute family and those kids are getting big.

  31. LoL says:

Cute. The twin girl is hiding onto her purse. LoL

  32. Lol says:

those who are commenting on taking out the kids… they may also have felt relatively safe in Europe/Germany. Lots of countries in Europe have very strict laws concerning children, or the paparazi in general such as Germany. In Germany, the kids faces for example are not allowed to be printed/shown

  33. nina says:

And brad totally loves berlin, maybe that is why he wanted to spend time there with his whole family in tow..

  34. Fue McCormick says:

(Somewhat OT): One of my girlfriends had to have a mastectomy and as soon as they removed the breast they rebuilt it using fat from her tummy. She has large breasts (D?) and she’s skinny (sz 4?) and the new breast looks amazing, including the nipple. Since AJ is so skinny she may not have had this option as I don’t know where they would have pulled the fat from. Has AJ talked about the reconstructive procedure, at all?

    • Loira says:

She described it well in the article she wrote. Google “my medical choice” and her name.

    • Lulu says:

Trust me, she didn’t have enough fat. I’m not as thin as her, and when they needed some fat for a procedure, they took it from my hip, where it left a huge scar.

    • Karma says:

O/T as well. My husband’s cousin had that same procedure but it wasn’t immediately after the mastectomy. The surgeons constructed it to resemble her other breast, and like you stated, truly did an amazing job.

This probably sounds stupid but seeing the cousin’s breasts (she shared the results she was so happy with the reconstruction) was one of those full circle moments.

My mom had breast cancer which returned five times. So as a family we didn’t get to experience that happy ending and knew we never would.

Since it’s such a huge physical reminder of health restored and winning the battle. It was almost healing to finally see that moment. I later thanked her, while fighting back tears, for sharing her ‘girls’.

  35. Mauibound says:

The empress rocks! They all look happy, good for them!

  36. jasmine says:

    HEY WHERE’S FAX???????????????????

  37. lee says:

They have had movies coming out every year for a long time now and some people will always use their family unions to say they use the kids, blah blah blah.
When they promote a movie it’s easier for the papps to know where they are and why we get these pictures. Common sense doesn’t come easy for so many people and it’s sad to be them.
Love this family and if you don’t there are billions of other sites you can go to so why waste your energy on jeoulsy. The only people who look silly, even stupid, are those who make negative comments about this family. Glad to know they DON’T care, so get lost…No one can please everyone and they are happy and that’s really all that matters, not the haters putting out their two cents.

  38. Marybel says:

I think I’m finally an Angie Jo fan. That white dress was the bomb! Their big cheesy smiles just reeled me in.

  39. Suze says:

I love Zahara’s dress. She has better style than most women five times her age.

    • FLORC says:

She’s going to be in fashion! And she’s so freaking cute with her side eye shots.

  40. JudyK says:

Can’t knock this couple…I love them!

Great, INVOLVED parents…not just for the cameras, they really are.

Oh, and Angie looks spectacular here!

  41. Pandy says:

I can’t wait to see the movie. Don’t get that people wouldn’t understand they want to celebrate a mother’s bday after she’s gone through a few surgeries for non-vanity reasons (or even if vanity reasons). Leave them alone.

  42. MistyNinja says:

I am now officially a Loonie. The past posts celebitchy had on this family did me in. I f****** love this family. Will they accept me as a long lost aunt. Haters be shamed.

  43. Barbara says:

When Shiloh wore her hair in a boyish way so many people jumped on it…but I remember 1 person thinking she wanted to be like her beloved dad. His hair is long now, and I see hers is growing too…

  44. Karma says:

Love the kids and that they each get to express their own style.

And I agree, it has been a while since we’ve seen them all together. But even seeing them out with just a couple of the kids. It’s nice to know that they try to give the kids special time with each parent.

  45. Jaxx says:

In that top pic Angie is looking at Brad with such love. I think they all look like a happy, healthy family. I’m glad. They need to stick together for all those kids. I’m glad it won’t be a hardship.

  46. crazydaisy says:

Does anyone else agree Angelina’s shoes are ridiculous? Color aside, how can one possibly chase after six kid teetering around on stiletto pin-heels like those? I see nothing liberating about severely restricted mobility. Might as well bind your feet.
