Here are some new photos of Jennifer Garner out and about with her son Samuel Affleck yesterday in LA. We’re slowly getting to see more of Samuel these days – it’s sort of like the Garner-Afflecks are American royalty, and like any royal family, they have to slowly ease their children into their public roles in America’s Dimple Parade. Newborns do not have to participate in The Dimple Parade. But once you start walking, you better start strutting those dimples!
Honestly, though, I’m kind of obsessed with Samuel. He’s SO blonde! Violet and Seraphina were blonde too, right? But were they this blonde? I forget. And I love how pouty Samuel is. He actually reminds me so much of Maxwell Drew Johnson, Jessica Simpson’s kid. All blonde hair and big pouts.
As for Jennifer… when did she gets bangs? Those are new, right? She’s currently filming Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, so I guess the bangs are for the movie. Let’s see… looking through our photos… yes, the bangs are new. Like, she must have gotten them in the past week. Hopefully the bangs will end when the movie is over. That being said, the bangs aren’t flat-out terrible on her. She just looks even more mom-ish.
And to give her a little bit of credit, this dress is one of the cuter things I’ve seen her wear in her casual outings. It’s still twee and it looks like an oversized version of one of Seraphina’s dresses, but it’s okay and it’s better than what she usually has on. As for whether or not she’s pregnant… God knows. How long have I been saying she looks pregnant? So, yeah, I guess I was wrong. She’s not pregnant. She just has weird posture and an organic, homemade burrito baby.
P.S. I loathe her bandage-colored shoes. I get that they’re comfortable and practical, but I’m sure Payless had other colors!

I actually have a pair that look exactly like them (and yep, they’re from Payless) except mine are coral. In my defense, I had to buy them because the heels I’d been wearing at the time gave me such horrible blisters that I had to switch out my shoes. At the time I was going for comfort over style. 😛

I can’t imagine having random errands photographed and my hair and clothes completely scrutinized by total strangers. Our culture sucks.
Haha so true yet here we are ;). I see nothing wrong with her bangs looking more mom-ish. Maybe she wants to be more mom-ish, since she is…you know, a mom (gasp!)

I have often thought the same thing when I run to the grocery store in workout or gardening clothes and no makeup and also that I’m eternally grateful that no one is looking at my stomach and guessing that I’m in the early stages of pregnancy. Or taking pictures of me at the beach. From behind. EW, I’m giving myself nightmare material.
I agree. I can be as snarky as the next gal but sometimes I feel bad. If you guys were looking at me running errands with my kids, I’ll bet I don’t even look at good as Jennifer G.
I hear you! She likes what she likes! Everyone doesn’t have to beat their face and throw on coture just to run errands, if they want to, that’s cool! But this is one of those things that only women do to other women.

The shoes are bad, but other than that I think she looks fantastic. She is really really pretty. I was watching Alias the other day and you can get kind of mesmerized by her face. She has a great face.
I agree, the shoes aren’t my favorite but I think the dress is really cute. I could see it being called “twee” if the print was hearts or rainbows or something, but as it is this doesn’t look twee at all to me.
I like her face a lot too. She did such a good job in Alias of layering the emotions with all the double crossing going on! Is that show on Netflix?

She looks really cute here, and I’m actually loving the bangs. Nice little dress, too – I have a two year old and usually wear little cotton dresses every day in the summer. You can just throw one on and you are DONE! I don’t have the energy to be putting together an ‘outfit’.

Co-sign ALL of this! “Twee?!?” It’s a regular cotton summer dress, for god’s sake. When does it not become okay to wear that?? I need to know, because, hey, I’m in my thirties now, and I need to know my deadline!

Sam is really cute. I love when toddlers have that portly little body – I think he’ll actually end up being very tall and fit – but the baby chunk is just absurdly cute. His little face is all lips and pudgy cheeks. And yes Kaiser, he’s blonder than his sisters. He also has blue eyes, a recessive trait which no other family member shows. Cute kid, won the genetic lottery.
Without the kids, J.Garner is as boring as white bread. She looks like a good mom – cant imagine Violet writing a “Mommy Dearest” about her upbringing.

I think the loose dress helps disguise her pregnancy. I really think she is pregnant again, but not ready to announce it yet.
If she had smaller feet the shoes wouldn’t be so bad. On those honkin’ boats, though, they don’t look so good. I know the snark is flying today; I can’t help it.
TF is a girly dress? Are there manly dresses? Aren’t all dresses by default girly? How is that dress in any way twee? Really? It looks like a childs dress? Because Lord knows adult women should only wear dark colored below knee length dresses.

They are not american royalty!!! anyone who even whispers that should be slapped SO hard across the face that there will still be red fingers on thier cheeks as they gum pudding and play bridge years from now.
She does not dress for her body
Jennifer is beautiful without makeup and absolutely stunning with makeup! All three kids won the genetic lottery. I love Jen and Ben together and think these kids reflect the fact that they are brought up in a loving home.
I agree with the comments of her being just regular folk. Do any of us run out for errands without getting all snazzed up? She is kinda in the damed if you do damed if you don’t sphere. If she dresses to the nines she would be attacked and when she dresses normal she is criticized. She really can’t win, there is always somebody to bitch either way!

I think that most of us would look better running errands if we had nannies, housekeepers, gardners, decorators and free clothing from designers. She has fantastic legs- If I were her Id walk around in a bikini bottom just to show them off. Sadly, if I tried that with my legs, I would be arrested for public cruelty.
The other kids are adorable but this one hasn’t grown into his cuteness yet.
I really like bangs on her, she should keep them. Bangs are not all bad. Mine are the swept to the side kind, the kind that hang a bit under my nose when brushed straight down. I have a strong jaw line with very high cheekbones, I need the long, swept to the side bangs. Everyone should just do what’s best for their facial structure/features IMO.
She does not know how to dress herself.
