LeAnn Rimes is currently doing some concerts in Ireland and the UK to support (I guess?) Spitfire. These are photos from her Belfast concert yesterday. I chanced upon these photos after seeing The Daily Mail’s coverage of how LeAnn was “showing off her curves”. Um. Really? Granted, her face looks a bit fuller, but she was just “sick” and I don’t know about you, but when I’m sick, I get puffy and fuller-faced too. But the rest of her body looks the same, at least to me.
I’m highly critical of LeAnn for a lot of things, but I’m not going to shade her for whatever “weight gain” she’s had over the past few months. I remember what she used to look like when she was trying to be as thin as Brandi – it was a BAD look for LeAnn. She looks so much better now. All that being said, if you wanted to start a pregnancy rumor… sure. Let’s do that. Except that LeAnn LOVES it when you start pregnancy rumors about her.
As for the performance – LeAnn tweeted that she was still coughing as she tried to sing, but it seems that many attendees gave her high marks for her two-hour set.
And LeAnn wants us to know that Eddie came along with her, of course. She was tweeting photos and such the whole time.

The real problem is that if she still had her original face she’d look a lot better right now. But she had to go and get thousands of dollars in unnecessary plastic surgery and now she just looks weird. Seriously, I flipped by an old story of her the other day from 2009 and she was almost unrecognizable. It totally shocked me because we all knew she’d had work done but to be reminded of how she used to look was crazy. And in only 4 years!!
100% agree with Apsputter! Her body looks better/healthier than when she was trying to win a thin-a-lon against Bradi, but she’s done so much crap to her face that she looks “off.” Which is really weird to me, because usually singers NEVER want to mess with anything that could affect their voice. Messing with your nose and chin could definitely do that.
It’s so sad that she doesn’t focus on her talent and just work, instead of making her life about drama. Both Leanne and Eddie are losing their careers over it, and it didn’t need to be that way.

Not everyone has to find everyone attractive. Some people like Leann with a bit more weight on her. Some prefer a bit less. Some don’t find her pretty at all. That’s all okay.
I’m about the same size as Leann right now and I’m not offended at all by comments. Comments like these should not be damaging. Its not like they are saying “she’s a disgusting fat pig, gross” etc they are just saying she looked better with less weight. I understand some people will internalize these comments or feel ‘shamed’ but it should not be that way. Really, everyone has the right to have a ‘type’ and speak openly about it.
Yes, everyone has a type and everyone is entitled to feel whatever they want. I draw the line at comments which imply that anyone who thinks she looks good is wrong. I was effected by comments like that when i was younger and less secue. Many people are.
I wish people would stop commenting on bodies altogether, but that isn’t going to happen. This probably won’t change either, but this is an issue i feel strongly about, so there you go.

She was thinner than this in ’08 before she even met Eddie, but healthy looking and to me her best weight. But still she looks far better than she did during her scary skinny days two years back. Her face is fuller from weight gain, but her cheeks are this much fuller because of filler. You can look at older photos of her when a healthy weight and her face didn’t have those apple cheeks. It doesn’t help her face at all, gives her a harder look. I don’t get why she’s still doing the filler with a fuller face from gaining back weight. It makes her face look heavier. These people get so sucked into the latest thing, no matter how much it does not add to their looks. I do like her outfit.
Every time I look at her since the cheek filler, I think of my great aunt who died. We have Indian in us, me not so much, but my great aunt had about 30 to 40 percent. And she had the apple cheeks and full face because she gained some weight, so a full face, and the squinty eyes. She was 60 when she died, but LeAnn looks like her ever since the cheek filler, not 30. Stop the filler.
She actually got a great review of her concert in the Belfast newspaper, calling it substance over style (meaning no big sets or costumes like a Gaga show), complimented her band, and said it was packed. Too bad she doesn’t focus on this part of her life and make some great music like she did in 2005 with This Woman, filled with catchy songs, instead of trying to be a reality star to keep up with Brandi and trying to shove bonus mom into everyone’s faces on twitter. Where were her tweets about excitement over being asked to do the MLK performance, rehearsals for her tour or things like that, instead of her ad nauseum birthday tweets and bonus boy tweets and deathly illness tweets. Sad.
Seriously, she was super cute when she was with Dean and not letting the crazy hang all out everywhere. I loved how she looked when she did Some People, Nothing Bout Love Makes Sense, and What I Cannot Change. I think it all started with her initial dental work because it totally changed the shape of her mouth/face and she hasn’t let up since then.

Why would he protect Brandi he never protects Leann either, She is the one that takes all the heat and hits while he is silent. Leann won no prize but a shallow man. If the rumor about the reality show is true Eddie would speak up about the way his kids would be portrayed and his ex especially if the kids are watching. The kids might not like their portrayal or their mothers and would let him know..

The JSJ blog may have some valid tips, but the rest sounds nutty and made up. The whole Eddie was calling Brandi, staying home to go to therapy with her, and LeAnn found out and forced him to travel with him this week thwarting his plans was so laughable. First off, LeAnn was never going to travel without him, and obviously they had their tickets booked together well in advance. That blind made me realize probably she’s making up a good portion of it. The Jenn lady was a drug addict and convicted embezzler. People who hang on to every blind about LeAnn and Eddie, no matter how implausible it sounds, are delusional in their wishing for it all to be true.
Do I believe there was trouble on set? Hell, yeah. I just think this JSJ blog got attention and all of a sudden she has more blinds for the attention.

Macey, Brandi has been going back and forth with an ex-boyfriend, or two, coming back into her life and tweeting about it, some cute things and then being fed up. So that comment she made fits right back into being over men, nothing to do with Eddie. She’s writing a book on her dating experiences, so has ramped up on making more personal tweets about her dating life and the ups and downs of it.

I remember all the Brandi fans crowing about an Eddie cheating story that was supposedly going to run a few months back. They were saying this was to be a real story, pictures and all, not just a blind item. Never happened. I think they are resorting to throwing out ambiguous blind items now since they can’t get anything real to stick.

Maybe her face is fuller from steroids she took while sick? I think they call it Moon Face. It’s a common side effect of taking Prednisone, which can be prescribed for severe respiratory infections.
Yeah, ‘severe respiratory infection’ if that is what she had! Just a week ago she was filming her hit show and complaining about being sooo sick. Now she is in the UK (imagine all the fake germs she spread on the plane) coughing. If she was that sick, she should have stayed home, in bed, and gotten over whatever she had. It’s not like she has to punch in a time clock working a forty hour week or anything.

Yes. I usually look gaunt after an illness, What’s with the steroids? For what? She said she had “tonsillitis flu” with symptoms that included vertigo and blurred vision. Now all of a sudden it’s morphed into a severe upper respiratory infection? She’s travelling and drinking up a storm. Infection usually would mean antibiotics, not steroids and you can’t drink alcohol when taking antibiotics. I actually think that most of what comes out of her mouth is a lie, She can’t keep her stories straight and thinks she can contradict herself and no one will notice.
you are correct that it is prescribed for SEVERE disease. it is certainly not used for the common cold. the side effects are extremely nasty and can be permanent. people generally are on it for months if not years for serious lung disease.
sorry, but i’m pissed off about this. prednisone ” moonface” comes after months on the drug. this is not an antibiotic. it is a very serious drug used in extreme situations. my husband’s life was saved by this drug, but the side effects are almost worse than the cure. do not joke about it.

I guess that the entire country music industry are “jealous” of her talent and “judging” her for her in your face relationship with Eddie Cibrian, the fading beauty. At least she can still have a sell out show in small venues overseas. Her crazy hasn’t been exposed there the way it has been here. I’ve never seen an album that really bombed as bad as LeAnn’s did saleswise added with the singles getting no airplay ever get nominated for a CMA even if great reviews. She was ignored by country music fans and radio, so why would they acknowledge her album for an award. Knowing LeAnn’s delusions, she probably expected it, though.
So if Spitfire did what they wanted, what they wanted was to tank big time. The also doomed to fail remixes must be for their private listening pleasure as well, because they are horrible. LeAnn will probably have to start her own label to get another contract. She can’t get radio play, can’t sell records and the industry are ignoring her. She cancels gigs and fights with people on twitter. Her career is over. How ridiculous to now claim that they didn’t want radio play and are happy with it selling zilch. I guess as long as LeAnn is paying Darrell, he’s willing to keep churning out failures with her.

Here’s an honest question, if anyone feels like answering it. Why hasn’t LeAnn had a baby yet? It’s something a lot of women do when they are insecure in their marriage. I wonder if she’s having fertility problems, which is something I wouldn’t wish on anyone.
By her own admission she isn’t trying to get pregnant. Despite several interview answers and tab suggestions that a baby could happen. She is on medication for a skin condition that causes birth defects so she would have to cycle off of it.
But the rumor is that Eddie is fixed so that might be the real reason.

Please don’t hate me for this comment. Long time lurker, occasional commenter, so I know all about the Leann hate here…But, I must say, Leann is a first class singer, she definitely has the pipes. I saw her in concert with a symphony backing her up and it was so incredible. She also sang acapella and blew the audience away with her talent. Do I like her Twitter persona and personal life choices? No. Do I wish she would just STFU about her marriage and all that? Yes. But, damn. B!tch can sing.
And that is the really baffling part – why she doesn’t concentrate on using that talent without all the distracting personal drama. All of that seems to overshadow the singing, which is really what should be her bread and butter, minus the social media, marriage, kids, ex-wife, etc.
She can sing, it’s true. But who cares? There are loads of fantastic singers out there, and none of them behave the way Leann does. She’s not special; she just thinks she is.

I’m starting to feel sorry for LeAnn. She tires SO HARD, and all that trying does is show how insecure she is. If she focused as much on her singing as she does Twitter feuding and promoting her oh-so-happy marriage, she would still have a decent career. What she needs is a good management team to GUIDE her and not the current one that encourages her 15-year-old-girl behavior.
But there in fact lies the biggest problem of all, she doesn’t see anything wrong with her behavior and therefore does want to change. So anyone who may be around her telling her any sort of truth bombs is immediately eliminated and ruled ignorant or even worse a Brandi supporter* because that is not the TRUTH, as she see it anyway.
I have been watching that E! show from the 90’s Mysteries & scandals (why I didn’t watch it when it was actually on TV I will never know)BUT Miss Le could learn a lot from watching a few of these tragic tales and possibly even relate. Losing the public’s adoration in the face of scandal is nothing new and neither is losing you career after 20+ years in the business.
* I actually do not know that I just assume its the worst thing you can be in LeAnn’s eyes.
Don’t feel sorry for LR. NO management team will ever be able to get through to her the proper way for her to act. She has always done whatever she wanted since she was too young to do so. Her theme song should be Frank Sinatra’s “My Way” because she will always do everything HER way no matter who gets hurt or whatever happens. She writes the checks, you know, so everyone should kiss her behind and do whatever she dictates.
I’ve read a bunch of older posts about this “neverending story”, and the thing that jumps out almost every time is how much good, FREE advice has been given to her. It’s really not rocket science to figure out what has negatively impacted her image and career. Having an affair is not the sole cause, nor is the ex-wife.
This is not in the same vein as a Johnny/June, Vince/Amy, Garth/Trisha situation, in my opinion. Brandi could have griped non-stop and it would not have caused a fraction of what has occurred.

Keep in mind someone else did report they left in separate cars so who knows, it is a “blind item” so take it for what its worth (its a fun read either way)….
This former couple were planning to have a quiet Saturday morning watching their kids play games, and talk about some of the issues they have just started to bring up that were never resolved. During a break in one of the spouse’s filming, they had their first long phone conversation in years. He confided to her how horrible life with his current spouse is, and how afraid he was of leaving her, because his biggest fear is everyone blaming him should she decide to harm herself. She had just had another episode, which was now directly affecting his career, and he was exhausted. He just wanted to have a fun and quiet morning with their kids without drama. The ex was game and all for it, and things started out well, until the current wife got wind of the warming trend between the former spouses. It reignited the fire from the days before, and before you knew it, there she was marching up to the game field with entourage in tow. She even called the paparazzi to get her confronting the innocent ex on camera. The husband was furious, and went over to his current wife, holding court and hijacking the kids’ game, and said, “The only picture they’re going to get today is you sitting there. If you don’t, the other picture they’re going to get is me throwing you off the field myself.” She sat there, but she didn’t keep her mouth shut. The snide remarks were plenty, and she under no uncertain terms let the former wife know her place. The former wife ignored her and made the decision right then and there to be done for good with her ex and any hope of a normal relationship with him.
Yeah, I believe this, and I don’t believe everything. Everything fits and makes sense, and I don’t always think so. Brandi is a freaking saint and Eddie is learning that regret really is the highest circle of hell. I hope he gets the guts to leave Leann so at least he gives Brandi and the boys the peace they so richly deserve after all the hell he and Leann put them through. And whatever she is currently getting, publicly and privately, she richly deserves it. Karma takes a while, but she does deliver.
I tend to believe half of this especially the part about Eddie not being happy with Leann. Brandi mentioned this in an email she sent to him about Mason and the ex lax incident. Brandi mentioned the friend’s name that said Eddie was miserable with her, but it was blacked out in the article. Eddie wanted a life of luxury he could not afford, but he sees it comes with a price. I believe it was more to Leann going to rehab then what she stated it was for. You don’t go from partying for a month to rehab for stress and anxiety the next day. It takes no rocket scientist to figure that.Something was definitely wrong.
Question for debate–Should a person who is unhappy and in a bad marriage stay in said marriage simply because he is afraid that the spouse might do something to harm herself? I say no. I think EC is afraid of just such a thing and afraid that people would blame him. Maybe it’s time for EC to get LR’s parents, bonus-parents, manager, publicist and few close friends together and lay the cards out on the table. It’s time she got the mental help she needs. I wouldn’t blame him for any action LR would take to his leaving. Hopefully she would just go on a rant and not do harm to herself. But she is the only one who can control her actions. She has always done whatever she has wanted despite reservations/actions from her biodad. It’s time she take responsibility for her own actions. If he is as unhappy as we think he is, it’s time to go and not let her blackmail him into staying and continue wasting his life. The past four years have been a waste (except for the money, trips, etc.) but his career is almost beyond reviving. Don’t waste anymore of it.
Briargal, that’s called emotional blackmail and no one should have to stand for it. Not sure I believe it; sounds like a story Eddie would feed to people for sympathy. What is he going to say, I like being supported? But I’ve known people in emotionally abusive relationships and that’s the kind of crap you hear: I’ll off myself if you leave me. No one should stand for that.
Okay, here’s my trouble with these stories. Yesterday this JSJ’s story was Eddie never planned to go to the UK with LeAnn and asked to meet with Brandi, he was miserable, and LeAnn found out and off he was dragged to the UK. Not believable. The tickets would have been booked long before and she would never have planned that little tour without him, and basically it’s the one time he would want to travel with her, going to Europe sightseeing, in great cities like Dublin, etc., not podunk US towns.
Today the story completely changes to now it was he wanted to talk to Brandi at the game the weekend before and LeAnn got wind and showed up. First off, LeAnn has never not gone to a game, ever. She was doing all kinds of stuff while she was sick because she wasn’t really sick. No way was LeAnn ever going to not plan to go and let Eddie be there without her with Brandi around. It hasn’t happened since the day she latched onto him.
Thirdly, why would LeAnn call the paps to photograph her telling off Brandi? LeAnn wants the world to think she and Eddie are blissfully happy. It’s why she tweets fake stories as they’re supposedly happening, like him singing to her, when it’s just a tweet to make people jealous of her life, fake presents, etc. It’s what she lives for, the perception the twitter/internet world has of her and her oh-so perfect happy life But according to this story, LeAnn wants the world to see her tellng off the ex-wife because Eddie called her and wants to meet with her, so what, then the ex-wife will spill the beans that Eddie called her and make LeAnn the fool. Never going to happen. LeAnn won’t let the world see whatever turmoil is going on in her private life with Eddie, especially that he’s talking with the ex-wife. LeAnn always calls paps to the game, nothing new. And why was she sitting there sullen? More like she was sitting there fake sick for the pap shot so the world could still see how sick poor LeAnn is since she was called out for faking it. She couldn’t be there all healthy, so she had to prove she was there but sick. That just makes more sense to me. Who knows?
There may be a grain of truth to the story, who knows, but from there I feel like most of it is taken from photos or where they are or tweets and a story woven around it to fit. I guarantee Eddie goes through days and weeks of being content, LeAnn stable, no money worries, and days and weeks of being miserable with LeAnn’s insecurities and craziness and must feel screwed, stuck with her. I’m the one that said them working together on this fiasco of a project would hurt this marriage even more as it was going to be a mess, fail, and they would blame each other. I just don’t know what’s truth and what is total embellishment in those leaks JSJ is putting out from her sources, but I have a hard time believing all of this is 100 percent true.
You have to take blinds with a massive grain of salt, but a lot of this rings true. Leann normally never sits back during the games and Brandi never sits with them. Leann usually tries to get photos taken of her and Jake, but there’s nothing this time and Mason is with his mom. Whatever is going down, Leann’s life is starting to crash around her. You can be happy just so long with someone’s money; craziness wears on you. I don’t feel sorry for Eddie because he brought it on himself, but it would be nice to see Brandi and the kids free of Leann.
This relationship does seem to go in cycles. I think they seem to have some very significant lows, and then it evens out (maybe due to opening the checkbook for some new toys – who knows?).
I have no idea what the truth is about their relationship, but what would personally trouble me is that he did not immediately leave his first wife. The “speed bump” reference released on his behalf indicates to me he wanted to keep his family intact.
I think you nailed that. I think Eddie knows he stuck and now has to tolerate his situation. I notice a lot of photos were taken with her walking alone without Eddie , kids or in laws. I read they came and left in separate cars. That seemed a little strange to me.
I agree with you about that blind. It seems totally made up from the pictures at the soccer game. I think anyone can agree LeAnn was not happy at that game, but she NEVER planned NOT to go. Just NO. Dont know if i believe the jsj blinds either but they sound incredibly possible. Eddie was caught staring at pretty skinny mini Brandi as she sat on the blanket next to Eddie’s mother. Brandi and Eddie could have spoken to each other and shared a few laughs before Leann showed up. Perhaps Leann showed up so unkempt and by herself because her “pap” friends tipped her off about Eddie and Brandi flirting at the game. Then, Leann races over to get in the middle of it unannounced without her fake lashes and fancy outfit on like usual because she had to get their FAST. I believe Brandi would prefer to have a better relationship with Eddie if the opportunity arose. Leann looked incredibly angry at the soccer game and when has she ever showed up seperate from Eddie? I think her weight has skyrocketed from the stress of her reality show (having to answer to people at the network who are not paid to tell you what you want to hear, having her mess of lies about her marriage under a microscope). And i think her face is more jacked then ever. She looks repulsive, like an amphibian. I think she’s emotionally eating because she is losing control over Eddie and her life.
I think their divorce announcement will come randomly, Eddie will pull the rug out from under Leann fast one day. When the time comes, he is going to pull a Katie Holmes and He will be so out of there. Leann is waiting for the other shoe to drop but sneaky Eddie will blindside her when and how he files divorce. Just my prediction.
@Stacey–I hope you are right about how a divorce announcement will happen. I just hope the kids are nowhere around LR when this happens. I am sure she will have a nuclear meltdown and if she is emotionally blackmailing EC, like I think she is, EC, those boys and especially Brandi could be in danger. I’m getting bad vibes on this whole situation. Better for EC to GET OUT QUICKLY NOW AND PROTECT HIS BOYS.

SHe has done nothing but tweet and post pics of her drinking and supposedly having a fantabulous time and gushing about perfect moments etc. How can she now cancel? Drinking alcohol really wrecks havoc on your voice and if she is on all the meds she claims, alcohol will also interfere with how they work. She is so freaking unprofessional. She and Eddie probably had a fight and she is in a state of collapse. One thing that you can always count on with LeAnn is that you can never count on her.
Honestly I don’t see how she has any fans left. She blows them off for a night of drinking with Ediot.
My beloved Dave Gahan (I see in a few more days again, ya-hoo) is 51 and they are on a one-and-a-half-year tour, and has been doing 2 hour and 15 minute concerts all the while all over the stage the whole time spinning, dancing. He is like a monk on tour, exercising, eating healthy, no going out late, no drinking for him ex-junkie that he is. They’re doing concerts often every other day and his vocals are amazing this tour. Anyway, LeAnn can’t even supposedly coming off an illness focus completely on her voice and health to get through her grueling four-city tour where she is sitting half the time. LOL
Maybe she is really ill and I should feel bad. But she is like the boy who cried wolf. You ending up not believing her the time she really is sick.
Leann only tours if Eddie is with her. She always seems to cancel when Eddie goes back home to have his sons on his custody days. I wouldnt not be surprised if Eddie is going home early to be with his kids and Leann feigned sickness so she can go back to LA with him to make sure he and Brandi dont get too close.
Either that or she is too hung over to perform. Just my guesses!
@Jayna He certainly looks amazing for his age. I love Depeche Mode, always have and saw them in Vancouver and Toronto, but I’ve never seen him performing solo. A consumate professional like him takes proper care of himself and values the fact that fans often travel to see artists they support. That means staying in hotels, travel costs and taking time off work. He obviously realizes that their time is as valuable as his is. Unlike unprofessional, hypochondriac, hard partying, messes, who can’t function if their spouse is out of her sight. No need for me to name names. She would benefit from taking a few notes from his example. She could even use her shiny new white board.
How can she even do that? and on such short notice. Dont they have to pay fines or something like that? I would think it would cost something considering they are only there for her show, what about the band and the others she travels with, does that mean they’re out a nights pay? I know it cost quite a bit for you and your band and paid piece to travel abroad for this kind of thing.

Amazing how this little POS can be so sick one day, cancel a concert, and the next day be out sightseeing. Any paps catch her? If I had bought a ticket for that concert (no way in he** I would ever to that!!) I would be really mad and scream it out to everyone! I would let everyone know what this cheater is like. She now only cheats on her marriage vows but cheats the people who waste their money to go see her.
IF she was sick, which I totally doubt very much, she should stay in, rest the body so she can heal and not spread germs out and about to the rest of the world and so she can appear at the rest of the concerts scheduled. Or is she planning on canceling them too.
She probably saw Eddie snuggling up with a fan in the corner of the pub, while she was drinking and tweeting about Guinness, and threw fit and the screaming damaged her voice. Then she found out a fan offered to show Eddie around Belfast while she was getting medical care, so she left off the “bed rest” and scurried out to babysit them. My guess is that she will cancel as many concerts as she need to in order to babysit Ed. Haha Eddie, the ole ball and chain is getting heavy.
Maybe a brief review of how not to catch or spread illnesses would be a good idea. Hygiene is key to prevention. And it usually makes a difference in how often one is sick and thus misses work.
So she now has laryngitis? Count down till she cancels all her other shows. She went to an ENT and got a shot in the rear. Hell, my ENT wouldn’t give me a shot when I had a terrible infection. He gave me stupid pills I had to gag down.
I just learned (from another site) that this is nothing new. LeAnn has cancelled concerts before for being deathly ill, and then been seen out an about. One of those times she was cheering and yelling at a basketball game on the same day as her concert when she supposedly had the flu.
Why hasn’t the DM and ET and those other media caught on to this? And if she’s paying them, she’s going to soon run out of money if she keeps canceling venues, even these 1,500 to 2,000 seat ones.
Has DM even commented on her canceling? Last I looked, I didn’t see anything about it. Didn’t see anything on ROL or on LR’s favorite butt-kissing site, JJ.

I saw pictures of her partying while she supposed to be deathly ill. She is even going the Miley route with the tongue issue. She is making my brain hurt.
And LR is ten years older than MC which goes to show people how immature and childish she really is. EC must be getting tired of babysitting his child bride!

Please correct me if wrong, but don’t the kids go to the other parent mid-week, perhaps on a Thursday? If he really went back to Cali, his reason (or excuse) may have been because of the kids and the custody arrangement.
You would think that DM would cover LR’s cancelling concerts in the UK. But I have found nothing. Makes one wonder why! Do they only print what she sends them or has she asked them not to print anything about her sickness and cancellation (even though it has to be a known fact) hoping people will not find out about the partying the night before and the sightseeing after the hospital visit.
People complaining on the comment section could affect her future potential ticket sales. Her reputation to cancelling often apparently was not known in the UK. You would think she would know that IF YOU ARE SICK, you stay in and rest and away from people. Apparently she doesn’t know??!!

Seriously, if she has this much sick time in her early 30s, what will she be like in her later years? Better reserve a room at the hospital and live there. Oh, but I forgot about fun time / work time sickness patterns. There seem to be periods of perfect health when it’s time for fun and the beach.
Leann has had this same behavior pattern since she was thirteen. Back then, Leann sued her dad, he countersued her and accused the teenage Leann of faking illness to skip concerts and fan meetings. Instead she went shopping and partying, used drugs, got drunk, crashed cars, and spent millions on her adult boyfriends. She was encouraged in her self destructive narcissism, by her mom who wanted revenge on her dad for the affair and divorce, and to gain a larger share of Leann’s fortune. In retaliation for the countersuit (which had a good chance of winning,) Leann cancelled her entire concert tour.
Ever since marrying Eddie, Leann is repeats the same self destructive patterns. When they fight or Eddie cheats on her, she fakes illness, cancels concerts, and uses drugs and alcohol. You would think the venues would bring up this pattern and require large amounts of cancellation insurance before booking her.
I thought she had talent as a young singer, but not quite to the degree she was hyped. I knew she left middle school, later sued her dad as she tried her hand at pop music. Then she married Dean and I thought she would rest on her laurels, be wise with her earnings and live a peaceful life.
Fast forward to hearing about the restaurant video and later how the new guy’s wife was not rolling over for them. It amazes me what all has transpired, and what was really going on years ago (the dad’s countersuit allegations).
A few years ago, I thought Miley would make better choices once her Hannah days were finished. She, too, amazes me with how she is choosing to behave. And usually there is at least one parent who enables them so they can stay on the gravy train.
@Christin–Thanks for the link. Almost a year and a half later and LR is still doing the same old crap and we are saying the same old crap. When will potential venues finally wake up and realize what a cheater she is. Because when she cancels, she is cheating the few (IMO dumb) fans who want to see her and waste their money, not only for tickets, but for hotel rooms, transportation to and from and possibly even time away from work. WAKE UP PEOPLE. BOYCOTT THIS IDIOT!
It surprises me too that her years long pattern of lots of partying followed by lots of cancelled concerts and more partying, isn’t well known on the business side. You would think that the fans, the concert venues, and her reality show producers would have asked some basic questions before putting out money on an unreliable celebrity with alcohol, drug and behavior issues.
I also believe this pattern of self indulgence and lies would be beneficial to the the Smileys case in court.
I am PRETTY SURE they are keeping track of ALL LR’s activities, tweeting etc. It would be sooo easy too as she is constantly telling us and the whole world everything. Of course most of it is lies— If anyone wrote a book just about the lies she has told, it would be a very thick book. And soon she will have to make the deposition that Smiley’s lawyers have requested. Let’s watch her lie her way during that!!
Just saw a pic on GR of LR wearing a shirt with the word Suicide on it. Could this be a subtle emotional blackmail message to EC? Nothing she does is just on a whim. Hope he doen’t fall for it!! But wearing something saying that is just pathetic! And a slap in the face to families who have lost loved ones to suicide. But then she only thinks about herself!
And no wedding ring–but I’m sure her and her minions will say it is because of her trip to the ER and meds that she is bloated too much to wear it. My wedding ring stayed on always until a couple years after my hubby died. I can see how some people take them off because of possible trouble with their work but mine stayed on. He put it there and it stayed.
I would not be a bit surprised. She is so manipulative that she’ll literally do and say anything tog et her way.
I also heard of something really odd. Not sure if anyone else agrees or has heard the same, but my cousin told me that slinging back beer is bad for singers. It dries out the vocal chords and causes excess congestion. I am not in the mood to research this, but I wonder if Leann drinking those Guinness’s on purpose made her get screwed for missing her shows?
Jane, I did a quick search and found several references to alcohol being a diuretic (dehydrating).
One would think a singer (especially one with 20 years of experience who has been under the weather) would rest and drink lots of water to be able to do her job.

I do wonder if Leann’s references to alcohol is a cry-out that she has issues with that? (I believe tequila is her poison in the US?)
