I’ve really missed thinking about Chris Evans, haven’t you? Maybe you never stopped. Here he is intensely carrying a box a few weeks ago in LA. I am thrilled to see that the promotion for Captain America: The Winter Soldier has begun. There’s a brand new 10-second teaser for a trailer, which I won’t bother embedding here because … no Cap Ass. The actual trailer comes out later today, and I’ll be lined up to watch.
We resume our Evans discussion with a bit of bad news, which could be good news depending on your view of his reignited romance with Minka Kelly. The couple got back together for a rumored second go last August before they were spotted making out in public a few months later. Things have been pretty quiet lately for them, and I was wondering what going on. Our photo agencies haven’t snapped any pictures of them together since April when they hit Bootsy Bellows together. Now it’s all over (again), and Chris will soon be looking for another Boston girl who sh-ts on him. Any takers?
Maybe the third time’s the charm? After breaking up back in 2007 and reuniting in 2012, Minka Kelly and boyfriend Chris Evans have split for a second time, sources reveal in the new issue of Us Weekly.
“It didn’t make sense for them to be together right now,” one insider tells Us of the couple, citing distance as a factor. (Kelly, 33, is shooting the TV series Almost Human in Vancouver, British Columbia, while Evans, 32, plans to direct the movie 1:30 Train in New York City.)
Us Weekly first exclusively revealed that the two were dating back in September 2012. It was their second attempt at romance together; they previously dated (and broke up) in 2007, prior to the Roommate actress’ three-year relationship with New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter.
Alas, history seems to be repeating itself in the form of another breakup. But this is not a bitter split. The first source says the duo parted on friendly terms and “still care about each other.”
Reps for both had no comment.

You know, I am kind of sad about this breakup but only because Chris and Minka didn’t walk any red carpets together this time around. What a bummer.
By the way, I can’t wait until Chris starts doing his neurotic interviews again. He’s much more of an interesting talker than any of his fellow Avengers, including Robert Downey Jr. I also like it when he realizes the paps are watching him and then runs like hell. Here he is doing just that on 8/15. Hopefully he remembered to breathe.

No disrespect, but why is she shady? Why do women always get put down when Hollywood couplings fail and the men are the “decent” ones? Unless I missed some negative stories about her ( and that is a possibility) she seems like an ok person.
I don’t know how this is going to affect (if at all) your opinion about her but it’s known that she dumped Evans for Derek Jeter (coincidently, back when Evans’s career was fizzling).
As soon as he was hired to Captain America’s role, they started being linked. During or right after The Avengers enormous success — they’re back together (confirmed by numerous photo-ops).
Just to piggy back off Eve, Minka also said to a magazine that she wanted Chris back after seeing him in CA. A few months later they were dating. She’s a known famewhore. Chris was hardly ever papped even with the success of CA and The AVG. Soon as he started with Minka he was being papped all over the place. I bet she was staging all this. Minka had never been papped that much, not even when she was with Jeter.
So they were the last to know then?
Well, this explains his Sunday night tweet about true love and sacrifice. Guess neither of them wanted to do that.
That said, Chris I’ve available to sh!t on you (not literally) any time. My husband would welcome the break.

Bedhead I have to disagree that Chris gives better interviews than my hubby RDJ. Chris is still my number two guy but he lacks the charm of my number one guy.
BTW about a month and a half ago Chris did an online stream of a live interview chat where fans were able to ask him questions. That was very sweet of him.

I was surprised that he started dating her again after she left him for Jeter. She’s pretty, but a “meh” actress. He could do better.
It seems there are quite a few women who don’t like her, but I have a soft spot for her because of Friday Night Lights. Even if people say she was the worst actress on the show, I don’t care because I think Lyla and Riggins together were hot. I was really hoping they’d end up together somehow at the end.

Minka is a pretty girl but there’s just something about her that always came off shady to me. The only reason I knew about her, is because she was dating Chris so I guess most ppl. are right when they say she’s only known for who she dates, rather that her actual “so called” career, which seems D LIST to me. I didn’t even know she was with Jeter until I actually made an effort to google her LOL.
