Brandi Glanville is releasing her own line of wine & she’s too drunk to name it

FFN_FPA_BacheloretteParty_071214__51476083

These are some photos of Brandi Glanville at a “Bachelorette Party” a few weeks ago in Las Vegas. It was some kind of sponsored event and I’m sure Brandi got paid to show up in a bikini. Brandi takes those kinds of gigs often enough – she seems like she has a gift for feathering her nest with small projects, paid appearances and the occasional endorsement. Speaking of, Brandi is putting her name on a new wine. Well… they say if you do what you love, you never work a day in your life. Brandi loves drinking and causing drama. So… a wine line sounds about right.

Ramona Singer may want to pour a big glass of Pinot Grigio for this news: There is a new Real Housewives wine maven in town. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville teased plans for her own brand of white wine this past week, edging on turf previously dominated by Singer, 57, and her famed Ramona Pinot Grigio.

“I need your help I can’t think of a name for my wine,” Glanville, 41, tweeted on Thursday, July 24. “It’s a Chardonnay coming out very soon and I cannot come up with anything I love!”

The responses from the reality star’s followers were swift and hilarious. She received suggestions for the name ranging from “Cougar Juice” to “Hollywood and Wine” to “Brandi, You’re a Wine Girl.”

Glanville also made reference to one of her favorite phrases, “Shut the f–k up,” by suggesting the libation be called “S.T.F.U and drink.” Unfortunately for the star, the name didn’t stick, as she explained the “distributors said no.”

The news of Glanville’s wine venture follows her successful writing project. In February 2013, she released a memoir called Drinking and Tweeting: And Other Brandi Blunders, which hit the New York Times best seller list.

The wine isn’t the only money-maker that she has in her queue, though: She told Us Weekly last month that she is writing another book. “I am really excited,” she told Us in June. “It should be out by January or February of next year.”

The busy woman joked about her many projects on Twitter on Friday, July 25, telling a follower, “Mamma’s got to pay the rent.”

[From Us Weekly]

I think I’m one of the few women in my age bracket who doesn’t care for wine that much. Most Merlots and Cabernet Sauvignon wines give me a headache. I like a nice Chardonnay, but if I’m going to make the choice to drink an alcoholic beverage, I’m probably going to choose a cocktail over wine every time. But… I’m sure Brandi’s wine will be a success. She’s probably in charge of quality control. They’re probably sending her cases and cases of wine to “test.”

at least she’s sticking to what she’s good at. There is a town near where i used to live called Brandywine. She should launch it there lol.

Ramona is going to bug out knowing another housewife is doing wine.

  2. Abbott says:

Don’t they all have a booze line nowadays? Toaster ovens is where the real money is at!

  3. insomniac says:

“Brandi, You’re A Wine Girl” made me chortle. Apparently I’m easily amused today.

  4. Kiddo says:

    “Desperation and Botox”
“Oh, Sh*t, my dress fell off and I can’t stand-up”
    “Supine Wine”
    “All Blame, no shame”

    • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

      Hilarious!

    • TheOriginalKitten says:

      AHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
      Perfect, Kiddo and MrsBPitt.

On another note, all the botox is giving her a cro-magnon look in her forehead/eyes/brows area.
      It’s not pretty.

      • Kiddo says:

She is a caricature of a caricature of a cliche.

      • Size Does Matter says:

@Kiddo, Cliche sounds like an awesome wine name to me. Cliche Chardonnay. Catchy and apropos.

      • littlestar says:

Her face looks really bloated to me in those photos, and I don’t think it’s from drinking… That woman uses WAY too much filler in her face!

    • akivasha says:

+1 for “All blame, no shame” 🙂

    • Miffy says:

      ‘#Wine’?
‘How Do I Drink Without You’?
      ‘Leann’s Closet Juice’?
‘Real House Wine of Beverly Hills’?

      • littlestar says:

        LOLOLOL at “Leann’s Closet Juice”!!!

      • floridaseaturtle says:

LOL, perfect. “Real House Wine of Beverly Hills” is actually a great idea. It is funny and cute. I would totally buy it, as long as it is not expensive. You should tweet her.

    • Bread and Circuses says:

      “Supine Wine” is brilliant. 😀

  5. Francis says:

Yawn. She’s too boring for words. So over.

  6. G0tch4 says:

Wow. That headband is a little precious for a 40+ woman.

    • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

      The whole outfit is crazy.

      • Ag says:

the cat face, the caked-on makeup, the outfit. so strange.

      • kaligula says:

Indeed. What kind of frock is that exactly? I can’t figure it out. Is it an iridescent sheer surplice caftan? A house robe from Target’s lingerie section? A beach cover- up? Somebody help….

      • HappyMom says:

Yes-yikes. Way too much of everything-fillers, jewelry, makeup, hair-going on. I’m sure the crazy Brandi fans will be here shortly to tell us we’re haters or paid Leann supporters.

    • heidi says:

Poster girl for middle-aged alcoholic. She’s looking soooo bad !

    • joy says:

I wore one just like that as a flower girl in 1983.

    • laura says:

She looks like a 50′ years old woman not 41! She usually talk about modeling with Cindy crawford back in Paris in the early 90’s…so she must be around Cindy’s age.
Sad with all the fillers and botox she is now looking like a ghost version of her former self!

  7. GoodNamesAllTaken says:

Hmm, I always got the impression she would guzzle down whatever. Not sure I’d want her advice on fine wines.

Her face makes me sad. She used to be so pretty.

    • Kiddo says:

Yeah, I take her for the quantity versus quality-type of a person.

    • Jayna says:

I know. She was so pretty that first season of the RHOBH. She has steadily gone down from there with her overindulgence of her fillers and botox, which is comical when she said to Kyle on the last reunion who said she doesn’t use filler, “And it shows,” or something like that, insinuating Kyle looks worse without filler. Meanwhile, Brandi’s face on the reunion was horrifying when she had gone so far overboard even Andy looked at her stunned asking what she had done to her face. She will never get what a mess she has made of her face compared to how soft and pretty she used to be.

    • Jenny12 says:

Yes, this I have to agree with. So disappointed in what she does to herself, when she used to be a pretty woman. I don’t know what she sees, but the Botox, etc, looks awful.

  8. Maria says:

    Her makeup looks atrocious.

  9. eliza says:

I am sure it will taste like tears, desperation and day old perfume.

  10. Lucy2 says:

    My suggestion? “Your move, Leann”

  11. Brin says:

She’s been successful and she’s supporting her boys, unlike her ex.

    • Snazzy says:

Yes, you’ve got her give her some credit … the woman’s got hustle. Good on her! Won’t buy her wine though …

    • Jenny12 says:

Yeah, really taken aback by the nastiness of the heading and the post here, not to mention the rude comments. Too much plastic surgery, yes, but she seems to have pulled herself together in terms of drinking. Way to knock someone down. If you manage to quit a bad habit, or ever made a mistake, never fear- loads of people to constantly remind you of your errors. Lovely. Real women support other women…. no wonder previous readers barely come on here anymore. She’s working to support herself and her sons and isn’t living off a sugar daddy or whatever. You’d think that would merit some respect.

      • happymama says:

Well said. Get your money, Brandi.

      • Jenny12 says:

Thanks, doll. Nice to see a few original posters on occasion (I see you, Ebony <3) but the overall tone towards Brandi has become a nasty one and it's sad. You don't see people on Robert Downey Jr. for his past mistakes all the time. She did some stupid s–t and seems to be trying to improve. Way to dump on her, and shade her for trying to be a businesswoman.

      • Jessiebes says:

Couldn’t agree more. Really admire her for making the best out of a really bad situation. And who knows how the wine will taste, it may be delicious, time will tell.

Ps personally I’m hoping for a classy name for the wine, just because I think it has more staying power.

      • Jenny12 says:

It’s nice to see women supporting each other and giving each other the benefit of the doubt. She has said and done some dumb things, but she also lives in this perpetual hell of the people who blew her life apart getting to torment her for publicity and using her sons against her. There is an entire show based on their venom for her, and she still hasn’t responded. They have put interviews out there insulting her personally and as a parent (Eddie, who slept with everyone he could find, unprotected, with a pregnant wife and hasn’t protected his kids since inception and Leann who is just a bottomless pit of credit card points and meanness) and she still refrains from saying anything. She’s trying; give her credit. Someone suggested xoB and I like that.

      • Ag says:

i know nothing about this woman except for what i read here. both she and eddie/leanne seem to be selfish, immature, and totally self-involved, so there is no “good” side to that conflict. and people appear to call all of them out on their bs. so, yeah, this woman has hustle and makes money and provides for her kids. good. that makes her a parent. also, again, from articles on this site only – she appears to have zero concern for her own and her children’s privacy, calls her children awful names on her podcast or radio show (not sure what she has), and goes on racist rants. all of which leave her open to criticism.

“women supporting each other” and being “real women” (whatever that phrase means to you) doesn’t mean not being critical of something someone does just because that person is a woman, and i am one as well.

not to mention, this is a gossip site.

      • TheOriginalKitten says:

Real women don’t idolize reality TV stars.

      • Jenny12 says:

Yes, I get that. It’s a gossip site and a forum for opinions and I didn’t knock anyone’s down. I merely stated my own. My opinion is that she took a horrible situation and is trying to make the best of it, with missteps along the way. I give her credit for trying to improve her mistakes and not repeating them. I dislike when people don’t let a person move past errors that they’ve made. Since her ex’s new wife blasts her kids all over the media, I don’t see how posting some photos or stories gives them no privacy; she said some dopey things, but I didn’t sense malice behind them. To each his or her own. I give her credit for not repeating her f–ups and owning them instead of denying them. @TOK: As for real women not idolizing reality stars, I didn’t know that giving someone credit for doing better and appreciating their forward movement was idolizing them. Good to know. However, as a parent, educator, student and wife, I think I qualify as a real woman and that’s the only opinion that really matters to me. I don’t worship at anyone’s altar. Never have, never will.

  12. Jayna says:

I doubt it will do that all that well as far as a big success. Her books sell, but when the girl can’t even come up with a name by the last minute when the Chardonnay is done, her branding is a mess. Just the fact she wants to call it some silly name shows it won’t have any longevity. She should have stuck with what she knows best and put out a very cheap boxed wine for the winos. J/K.

Her clothing line went bust on Amazon. I see her being better at selling a lingerie line on QVC than the chances of another wine venture taking off from these housewives.

    • EBonyS says:

You guys. She does this ALL the time. Tweets out to her over half a million followers to “help” name her new products coming out. She did this with her last book.

It’s a way for her to “engage her fans”.

Reading this headline, you’d think she really did say that :-/

Since her asinine DUI, she’s never been arrested repeating her idiotic mistake. She’s doing her thing and making her own money. And despite the media blitz of HasBeen and Ediot, making insinuations to the kids not being taken care of while they aren’t there, she actually hasn’t commented or lashed out. Just continued promoting her gigs and products. She’s learning. And that to me shows growth.

      • Jenny12 says:

Maybe they should hire YOU, Ebony. Brandi has done some dumb things, but she’s been really trying not to engage or respond to the cruel comments. Instead of praising her for maturing, people accuse her of lying in wait. Instead of engaging in war with two cruel idiots who put her down as their only way for publicity, she’s pushing her own business. And for this, she gets accused of being too drunk to name a product? Really disappointed in the writer of this piece. She made some dumb choices and hasn’t repeated them- and she still gets accused of the same behavior?

      • Jessiebes says:

YES! So what if she made some dumb mistakes in the past, she obviously shows she has learned from them. Which shows self awareness, humility and the willingness to improve herself. That is called maturity. We should applaud her for that.

      • Jenny12 says:

And that is called….. women trying to support each other. 🙂 She seems to be trying and I give her a lot of credit for not responding to the ugliness her ex and his sidekick throw her way. You’d think THEY were the victims. I’d have blown up a million times over by now.

      • CatFoodJunkie says:

Women supporting women. While nice in real life, This would be a very, very boring website if all we did was applaud. Especially stupidity such as Brandi displays.

      • Macey says:

Im actually kind of proud of Brandi for not engaging or even acknowledging the BS the Squints have been spewing since their show. I hope she keeps it up. It’s pretty obvious they were hoping to rile her up enough that she would respond and give them more publicity… KUDOS Brandi! Their plan completely backfired and the show is tanking while Brandi is developing her brand.

      • Jenny12 says:

Yes, indeed. Women supporting each other. I don’t support everything Brandi does, but I sure as hell support a woman trying to grow up and not engage with a poisonous ex and nasty witch of a new wife who have put out interviews, an album and now an entire show based on bashing her. I support a woman who appears to be trying to have self control not only in terms of two people blatantly trying to take her down, but in not drinking to excess. She had a DUI and then never did again. She put on a horrible drunken display and hasn’t since. I don’t automatically support every single woman, but I try to support those who are truly trying to work on themselves. I will not insult Leann’s looks, but I sure as hell will go to town on her vicious behavior.

    • betty says:

She did it for her books. Smart move letting the public get involved shows they have interest. You can call Brandi all the names you like about her looks etc. But she is no dumb blond. Good PR. Too bad Leann and Eddie have no PR person if so they should be fired.

  13. Laura says:

Gurl at least spend some of that wino money on extensions that match your actual hair color and don’t look like bleached pine straw.

  14. Cinderella says:

I will buy her wine if she will stop with the fillers.

  15. Macey says:

Im not a wine drinker but I hope it sells well. Im sure she’ll sell more than LR’s CD and concert tickets combined.
The squints show already lost a lot of views from the premier, only 367,000 total and 238,000 in the targeted demo. Not hard to beat those numbers.

  16. Maxybabe says:

I say go for it Brandi, you are making money for your family and are supporting your children, and being the main provider in any situation is very hard. Keep hustlin’ gurl! Really hope you get a “permanent” gig soon, think there are great things in store for you!!

    • aaa says:

Eddie Cibrian is the main provider. Custody is split 50/50 so both parents have the children for the same amount of time, and on top of that Eddie pays Brandi child support.

      • Nan says:

How can he be the main provider, he pays child support, Brandi provides monies for her household and Leann provides for Eddie’s child support and their household. Eddie has not had any steady work it’s been a couple of lines here and there. Leann paid for out of her monies for their show. I do know that for a fact. They also took it to many networks, they were turned them down, VH1 said No at 1st, then yes when they learned and agreed no monies would come from VH1.

      • betty says:

How is Eddie the main provider, you mean Leann. Eddie has had has no steady work since CSI 4 years ago. If she had to survive on that REDUCED out of work support Eddie provides she would need public assistance.

      • gwen says:

Bitter Betty, Brandi never supported them while married. She had no income. What’s good for the goose…..

    • Jenny12 says:

The only money Eddie brings in is from a show designed entirely around bashing his ex. So she should be getting a cut of it. Everyone knows he lives off Leann. She even admits it, except she tries to phrase it as Eddie raising his kids, which is complete BS. Just like trying to say that when Eddie was filming in Chicago, the boys’ grades suffered. A 3 year old and a 7 year old in early fall of school were failing!? He claims that’s why he stopped working but everyone knows it’s because there aren’t a lot of roles for an aging pretty boy with limited talent. He should have went into modeling. Whether or not you like Brandi, she is the one with a regular job and side jobs like hosting gigs, books, etc. Eddie had 3 lines in a movie and now is acting in a scriptality show that his wife finances.

      • aaa says:

Say what you want, or deflect all you want, but it does not make it true that Brandi is the main provider for her sons, Brandi works and that’s commendable, but Eddie provides the majority of the support for Mason and Jake.

If you think that Brandi should get a cut from Eddie’s show, then by that same argument, Eddie and Leann should get a cut of Brandi’s first book and other income streams that Brandi has used them for like selling stories to tabloids.

      • Jenny12 says:

The cut comment was a joke. I’m sorry, I disagree- Eddie is not the main provider. Brandi- and, sadly enough, Leann- provide for those boys. Brandi works for her sons and Leann works to give Eddie child support money. It’s sad. Eddie should have gigolo tattooed on his head. But I would like to say I appreciate the courtesy with which you approach topics.

      • gwen says:

Brandi did not support her kids during her marriage, why is it any different? If LeAnn wants to pony up, good for her! But I bet you dimes to doughnuts, she isn’t paying the support, Eddie is. Brandi has never paid to support her kids and still isn’t.

  17. kri says:

She looks awful. Those fillers are on the move. I can’t imagine why Brad and Angie haven’t asked to partner with her along at Miraval. It seems like “I have a chardonnay coming out” is something she says every 10 minutes before she tries to master sitting all the way on the toilet. Again.

  18. Suzanne says:

She’s really been jacking with her face again…very noticeable.
She’s starting to look like that other bimbo that left the show…Adrienne.
When will the trend of obvious fake extensions be ending? I’m so sick of looking at all these women with fake long hair…thrown over each shoulder and nothing in the back of their heads…WTF?

  19. LAK says:

    That’s hilarious.

  20. theoriginalshelley says:

I assume that this wine will get you more drunk than regular wine, you know, like Brandi.

And of course it’s Chardonnay. Blah. I hate Chardonnay. Especially a cheap Chardonnay, which I’m assuming hers will be.

  21. bambilee23 says:

Oh jeez, her face. She is morphing into Lisa Vanderpump. Enough with the fillers.

  22. weirswalker says:

Bad headband, huge earrings and what looks like a lingerie robe…..she really is a mess..

  23. Lydia Says says:

This isn’t surprising considering she has written two books about drinking and sleeping with practically anyone. But Brandi should stick to plastic surgery, botox and being a vile/ classless skank . Since she asked, these names would be perfect.
    BEVERLY HILLS BIMBO NECTAR
    Liquid Skank
    Chipmunk juice
    Desperation
    Annoying housewife
    My tampon string
    Botox girl
    Drama queen
    I can’t move on

    • TheOriginalKitten says:

Agree with your overall sentiment but the word “skank” is unnecessary. She was honest about having multiples sexual partners. Who cares? She’s a grown woman, it’s her right, and she shouldn’t be condemned for it.

    • rlh says:

How is she a skank? She was faithful to her husband. Now that she is single she does as she pleases with her body. This is 21st century America and a woman who likes sex, owns her sexuality and is not ashamed of it should not be called a skank. Even if she has a different sexual partner every day, who cares? It’s her life, her body, her decision. And, she is without her children 50% of the time. You shaming of her based on her sex life is beyond insulting, to all women.

  24. Byte Me says:

At least Brandi is bringing in money for herself & her 2 boys, no thanks to her ex husband. I don’t see anything in the article about her being too drunk to name her wine. That was pretty snarky ..

  25. why? says:

Did Leann and Eddie have a interview today because the Brandi haters are back. Since Leann is on her fake twitter account tweeting about an interview that she and Eddie did in NY that aired today, it’s not a surprise that the Brandi haters are coming out of nowhere.

    • HappyMom says:

Oh yes-anyone who criticizes Brandi is of course a Leann supporter. Eye roll.

    • TheOriginalKitten says:

Not worshipping her does not equal hating.

Then again, you’re the same poster that thinks myself and some of the other OGs are the same person, so safe to say you’re not someone that anyone here could rationalize with.

    • betty says:

I think the reason for that is because Brandi or someone suggested she should name her wine SPITFIRE and that brought out the claws and Leann tweeted back something lame like Ambition before drinking. Although we know that is a losing title.

  26. Peachy says:

I’m envisioning a this as “Brandi’s Big Girl Juice Box – Wine in A Box, with Crazy Straw Attachment “!

    • floridaseaturtle says:

Yeah, for some reason, that is what I assumed it would be…boxed wine. If so, then I think a cheesy name could fly, like the funny one above “Real House Wine of Beverly Hills”. Sell it at Wal-Mart and the grocery stores and it might do alright. I once brought a bottle of “Mad Housewife” to my sister’s as a joke. Can’t remember if it was any good at all, but she has good wines already on hand, so it didn’t matter anyway.

  27. Willa says:

Selling wine? If by going by her fashion line, I don’t think her wine will fare better.
Another thing, her face? She looks like the cat lady woman, jocelyn. I really don’t understand women that are fairly attractive then turn to plastic surgery and screw up their face. She looks hideous now.

  28. BeckyR says:

Why would anybody buy wine with her name on it? Her “brand” means ZIP. Just another housewife money making scheme. I swear, the RH franchise has become nothing but infomercial opportunities for these overpaid loudmouths.

    • Mojoman says:

Exactly!! Just like Ramona wines. Saw those in the supermarket, my automatic reaction was “SNORT!” If you want to look like a crazy eyed, manic high pitched voice woman, drink that wine.

  29. Eloise says:

Well, I HAD been enjoying these comments. That escalated quickly!
    WTH?

  30. RENAE SAYS says:

I can’t stand the way some people crucify this woman. Considering where she was at after her divorce, you got to give her credit for working hard and being able to provide a good living for herself and her children. I am sure Eddie’s (Leann’s) child support payment is very minimal since it is based on his income and he has none. Nothing from nothing = not much. She has been in the public eye since her humiliating divorce and she has had to navigate all she did in the public eye with plenty of people to crucify her at every turn. If she does have a serious drinking problem (which I doubt…she works too hard), it certainly isn’t anything to make fun of somebody for. It’s a disease. She has many respectable good friends that she has had for many years. I think that says more about her character than any rag mag or judgement from people that haven’t spent two minutes in her presence. So what if she uses fillers, so does 98% of the other women in LA. They are judged for wrinkles too. Lighten up on this woman.

    • Jenny12 says:

I feel the same way! 🙂 Though you have to watch it here- any comments like this will get you accused of having Brandi has your idol or something.
